Hoax Bar & Restaurant

From the moment we stepped inside Hoax we were made to feel at home. The service was outstanding, from introducing us to the menu to making sure everything was to our taste. The food was delicious, a sort of cross between something I imagine my nonna would make, if I had one, and elevated modern Italian cuisine. Highlights were definitely the beef tartare and reinterpreted caprese, and the Tiramisu lived up to the high expectations set by the waitress! Oh and better not forget the cacio e pepe! It’s great to see such an exciting restaurant open in this area and I look forward to going back. I also really appreciate being able to take my dog who was equally well cared for

A real treat to the neighbourhood, the food was excellent and service was first class,. the pasta might be best I have had in London and the “sponge” brioche bread was a proper highlight.

Exceptional restaurant. The place has a very clean, modern and unique design. The staff are very nice, and constantly ensure our dinner is as great as it can be, and the food itself is top notch, especially the desserts. The atmosphere is perfectly tuned to be equally fresh and energetic. I highly reccomend it.

This great place just opened in the middle of Dalston, brings you an a magic Italian vibes during the meal and a great attention to details in the down stairs hide cocktail bar. The devils you know it’s the right spot to learn about some thing new in mixology and good quality for cocktails. Great spot!
