Service was friendly and good. We were seated right away. Refill of our sides were nice and fast. All the food came out cooked perfectly and delicious.

My friend and I each had amazingly good food here today. I ordered Dolsot Chicken Bibimbap with fried egg on top. The flavors, textures and presentation were spot on. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

We ordered the Dolsot Bimbibap chicken bulgogi and the Bulgogi beef. Large portions and very tasty! It comes with Korean side dishes, which are always refreshing. Price is reasonable for quality and quantity of food!

Awesome, authentic Korean food. This place has been a mainstay for decades. Everything is amazing from the banchan, to the apps, to the entrees.

It's very traditional Korean food and probably the best I've had in the Twin Cities metro area. I've been coming here since college and have really never been disappointed. The service is always nice and friendly and always on top of things. The chicken wings are a must, and surprisingly, the sweet and sour pork is awesome. You typically think of this as a Chinese dish, but the breading and sauce is very different and in a good way. You can't go wrong ordering anything else. It is far and not terribly central, but it is worth it!

Awesome food! We had the beef hot pot and it was really loaded with beef and veggies! And the seafood pancake and the stir-fried pork dishes we're also delicious. I loved eating there today!

This used to be my go-to place for amazing Korean food but my last two meals left me with stomach aches and a sour taste. Both times I ordered the short ribs (galbi) and I had stomach pains after eating it. The first time around, I thought it was just a fluke because usually I have a positive experience with their food. However, this second time that I ordered from them, the galbi tasted fine but the onions and mushrooms underneath were sour and the onions smelled moldy. I don’t believe the vegetables were fresh. I believe they served me rancid vegetables. I threw it away and consequently had stomach pains again after eating here. I don’t know if they just have new management or new workers who just don’t care about quality/freshness anymore, but I am never eating here again. It’s unfortunate because I was a loyal customer here. Even through COVID-19 and the multiple price increases on their menu, I still came here to support their restaurant but I simply cannot anymore. The food here is merely okay. The dishes in general aren’t nearly as flavorful as other places like Sole Cafe or Kimchi Tofu House. The spicy pork bulgolgi in particular doesn’t have that rich, red color that I’m accustomed to elsewhere. The portion sizes are good for sharing but prices are on the higher side compared to other places. The service is quick and seating is plentiful, however. This place is my go-to when I don’t want to deal with long wait times and limited seating.

I have been going to Hoban for over 16 years and I still love it. The galbi was charred and sticky sweet.the banchan was deli as usual and the kimchi panjeon were delicious. I really wasn't too impressed with their wings but I guess you can't win them all.

Super yummy Korean food but the service could def be improved. The food was super delish. Very authentic with large portions to share. The only downside was the service. We were waiting a really really long time for our food and our server kept ignoring us. We had to keep flagging the server to get refills but he literally kept running to the back lol. On top of that, he forgot one of our items which came out wayyyy later after we finished eating. Such a bummer because the food is soooo good. :(

Ordered food from Uber eats and food were terrible. Even rice seemed old. Very disappointing and I will never order there again.

Came here for my final dinner before leaving back home the next day. It wasn't a too far drive from Mall of America and had better food options than the ones there. The service was great. The greeted us and sat us down promptly. There was only 2 other parties there besides me, my sister and Mom. Apparently there is a karaoke next door but idk if there were people there or not cause I didn't hear anything so it didn't bother us. The food was out in under 10 minutes and it was HOT and steamy. The side dishes were good but I didn't care much for them because the food was good and I didn't have room for them. The only one I didn't like too much was the beans. It was good at first but after the 3rd bite, I didn't care for it anymore. My mom ordered the chicken fried rice and it was delicious! Just like a Korean restaurant back home. It was seasoned just right. My pork bulgogi was ok. I would've like the meat cut thinner so I wouldn't look all crazy when I eat it. There were raw onions and mushrooms on it as well. I would've liked them cooked a bit because I don't like raw mushrooms. It was not spicy at all though. And kind of flavor-less other than it had enough salt. The soondoobu was delicious too! I got the beef one and had the same meat issues as with the pork bulgogi. I would've liked it cut thinner as well. It would've absorbed the soup more and not be so tough when I eat it. That was the only issue tough. The broth and everything else about it was great. Food was good enough so that I would come here again if I was ever in town.

Went here for karaoke. It's super fun for karaoke but the food was pretty greasy with smaller portions. The servers were quick to bring in food and drink. Just wish the food was a bit better!

One of the og Korean restaurants around the twin cities area that's been around for years. I've been here copious amounts of times, each time I come it's because I'm craving the galbi and soon dubu jichae. I think the service has gotten better over the past few years. They are more attentive with your water, adding side dishes and the food comes out relatively fast even when the restaurant seems relatively busy. The pajeon was okay this time I had it, it was pretty soft which I prefer a bit crisper. The galbi and grilled mackerel were the stars of the show, the galbi was nicely charred and cooked to a medium wellness soo good. I was disappointed in the soon dubu jigae, way too salty this time. The japchae noodles were good, not sure if I'd get it every time because I've made it better myself at home, the noodles were a little overdone to my liking. This restaurant looks and feels older with the outdated carpets and booths. However, it does give you your Korean food fix! I like their kimchi here too.

Been coming here for years as it is the only decent Korean restaurant south of the Twin Cities. Not all the dishes are a home run and some are not made in house. Over the years, some things have changed. The shrimp tempura is not as good as prior years etc. Here is what I do order when I'm here: Kalbi (marinated beef short ribs) with extra char Cold spicy buckwheat noodles (my fav) Spicy seafood tofu stew Spicy calamari stir fry Seafood pancake (hit or miss) Side dishes that are free-not as good as other places Service is good but I've had it bad as well. Plenty of free parking in the strip mall. Large and spacious dining room for large parties, although the carpet could use a good deep cleaning.

My husband and I ate here about six years ago when we were in town for a conference. We loved the food at that time and talked about it. 6 years later we get an opportunity to visit again and we could not remember the name of the restaurant. I searched for a place with similar food we remembered and we were happy to see it was the restaurant we wanted! We got to take our daughter because she wanted bibimbap and she loved it. Great service also. Everyone was very friendly. The atmosphere was comfortable and we enjoyed our meals. We will definitely visit again when we are in the area!

Stopped by Hoban a couple of months ago with some friends after a night out at the connected Karaoke shop Do Re Mi. There is another location of Hoban in Uptown Minneapolis where I used to live so I had some expectations going in, although that one is focused on KBBQ where you grill at your own table. The menu is pretty good with a lot of options and what seemed to be something for everyone which was great as we had a large group with a lot of picky eaters and people with dietary restrictions. Also, without any reservation, the restaurant and waiters were kind enough to accommodate us and push tables together despite it being pretty crowded. I decided like trying something new so I got the Chicken Katsu which I know is more of a Japanese dish than Korean, but felt like trying something new here that I hadn't had at the other location. After we ordered, they brought out banchan for us which were super delicious. A good mixture of spicy, savory, and sweet dishes. These were great to keep us satisfied while we waited for our dishes. The chicken katsu was good - nice and crispy, not super dry on the inside and with a few little veggies on the side. It was good and decently filling. Not the best Katsu ever but a solid choice for a meal. I think most people in the group left thinking similarly to me, that it was a solid meal.

Service was very fast. We had the plates at our tables about 7 minutes after ordering. Food was delicious, huge portions (I couldn't finish it) and another thing I liked about this place is they don't rush you. They let you take your time to enjoy your food! I ordered a noodle soup and my friend ordered a dish with chicken, we didn't realize how many small sides it came with. We enjoyed having a taste of all the sides and the kimchi was so goooood! I noticed they also run a karaoke next door; might come back to check that out!

Authentic Korean Food was a welcome find for us. We really enjoyed our meal here. Everything was cooked well and great flavor. Service was great and the staff is so friendly. Coming from out of town, this is a great find for our future trips.

It's been a few months since I made a trip to Minnesota, so on my way home I decided to stop back in at Hoban. Once again, I got there at a relaxed time of the day (around 4:45, so the period of time that most restaurants aren't very busy). My host was very friendly and checked in with me a few times to make sure it was all good, which it definitely was. So basically, the service was great. I got 3 dishes; the Shrimp Tempera, Haemul Bokkeum, and a to go order of Beef Kimbap. I only come to this restaurant if I'm wanting to treat myself, so it all (with a tip) came out to 76 dollars and some change. I will be eating the leftovers for the next two days at least, because the servings are enough for two people on all of these things which I forgot about that part. All were amazing. The shrimp tempera came with mushroom, onion, and sweet potato tempera as well, along with a DELICIOUS soy sauce based dip that I just adore. Side note, I snacked on the tempera I left with for the entirety of my 3 and a half hour drive home. The Haemul Bokkeum was also freaking amazing. It was a large enough portion that I barely managed to eat half of it (remember that side dishes are given with your meal so on top of my appetizer I way overdid it for a single person). It was just perfectly cooked and seasoned, even the scallops and shrimp were perfectly cooked and weren't overdone at all. Last but not least, the Kimbap I got as takeout cause I thought it would be nice to eat later. I was NOT prepared for the serving size, yet again. Just an FYI, I am not at all complaining and I love that I got the bang for my buck considering it was 19 dollars for it. It's a bit spendy but would 100% be worth getting as its own meal. I have no regrets, even if it was an expensive meal (for one person, I could have easily gotten this for two). Hoban has always come clutch with servings worth our money. Enjoy the food pics. I definitely did.

Went with a group of people and ordered so many things to try! (I won't list everything because I don't know the actual names of most!) My favorite items were galbi and pork katsu! Comes with some awesome side dishes and rice. The specific hot pot we got was terrible, it was so sweet even though we asked for spicy. Not sure! I'd love it try a different one. Overall our group had so much fun and enjoyed our meal.

Grabbed dinner here on a Saturday night--we were seated immediately and quickly received our banchan. We ordered the kimchi bokkeum and bibimbap. The kimchi bokkeum was fantastic and definitely our favorite. The bibimbap had quite a bit of liquid from the vegetables, which made the dish a bit mushy after mixing. Service was friendly and the atmosphere was comfortable and quiet. Would definitely come back here again for the kimchi bokkeum!

So here's a funny story. I had never had tteokbokki before and wanted to try it. Needless to say there aren't a lot of places in the twin cities that offer it. So I went here and ordered the dish for myself. The waiter failed to inform me that it's meant to be shared. It came in a HUGE bowl. I had tteokbokki for days. It was good but it was too spicy for my delicate white-person palette Anyway, now I know what to expect when ordering tteokbokki. I want to go back to try the other dishes because I still love Korean food even if I can't handle the spice levels.

This place is not good, it is small and the karaoke booth is small and out dated and you will have to page through 3 inches of text books of songs, it is not a good place to spend your hard earned money. I looked at the menu and the menu need to bee updated it is ripped, and torned from it is pamphlet. This place is out dated, I will not go here again, normally I spend on food and drinks worth of $200-$400 everytime I go out. But here I only spend $60 and that is with gratuity. This place is not worth it yall don't go here. The food suck, that is no flavor, the atmosphere is not good. Close it down, and update everything if you want to survive in the restaurant business. I rather spend my money at BonChon it is well worth it. Bye Bye Ho - Ban.

There aren't many authentic Korean restaurants around the cities, but this is one of my favorite! It's a small place tucked away into a strip mall near the Eagan outlets but it's a great place. The portions are very generous for the price. Their lunch buffet (pre-Covid) was a steal but I've turned to take out since then. I recommend the beef bulgogi and japchae. They're delicious!

The service is really bad. We were seated for a long time before someone brought us water and came to take our order. Throughout the whole meal, our water was never refilled and nobody came to check on us. Only the food was delivered. We had to go to the host counter to get our bill and pay. The food is cheap and kinda awful. Not fresh, and not authentic. Big portions though. I didn't even take the leftover home.

Loved their kimbap so much. It came with a small side of kimchi and other items. I thought the rolls were a little pricey and you can only order two rolls, not one. I'd definitely go back though because the rolls were fresh and so good.....(a little sloppy and not rolled well lol, but still so good)

The food was very good and I believe it was authentic. I had the marinaded Korean short ribs. They were extra good. Three large slabs that I cooked only could eat two of them. The sides were all very good and I believe Korean. I'm not much into spice so I didn't eat all of them but I tasted them, the fish cakes are good. The potato salad was excellent. I has some beef fried potstickers that were excellent. I had a beef broth with brisket that was tasty & rich. My waiter Tae was extremely good. The staff were all pleasant. Music was too loud for me. I recommend this place highly.

Hoban has great food. Their lunch buffet is exceptional and is a great way to sample lots of Korean specialties. However, the staff are not especially friendly and welcoming.

I do not feel compelled very often to write bad reviews. I'm definitely someone who has great empathy for hardworking restaurant folks. However, a recent trip to this restaurant was utterly disappointing. The service was awful, the food sickeningly sweet (with the exception of some excellent kimchi rice and Mandu Guk soup. It took thirty minutes for six wait staff with a barely full restaurant to seat us and take our order. They forgot our rice, second order of sub standard side dishes, and never filled our drinks. I was finally compelled to say something when one dish arrived 20 minutes after the others and was awful. One waiter was very empathetic and talked to the owner, who refused to refund the dish. Another waiter came up to me, while I was waiting for the results of my feedback to the owner, and yelled and waved his arms asking me what was wrong. He hadn't even served us! Confused, i thought he was the supervisor and asked him to please take care of the people behind me before we spoke. After speaking he did nothing but defend every aspect of our experience. I'm super disappointed and will not be returning. For Korean food that is more authentic and not filled with sugary sauces, try Mirror of Korea, Sole Cafe or Arirang in St. Paul. Hoban is run by an absent owner who doesn't believe her customers and places an inexperienced staff in charge of customer relations. Epic fail on all levels.

This was my first, and likely only, attempt at eating Korean food. I was invited by some friends from the area and knew nothing about Korean food. As I browsed through the menu, I thought to myself 'none of this seems comestible'. I asked the waiter what he recommended for someone who is not very adventurous and not a fan of really spicy food. The waiter recommended some kind of ribs. While we waited for our food, we were brought several dishes of sides. The only two things I liked were the bean sprouts and the soy beans. Eventually my ribs arrived. They looked appetizing. Spoiler: they weren't. The meat was rubbery and chewy. I tried 3 or 4 bites, but they were all equally unpleasant. I would not do this again. Korean food seems to be for a very special breed of connoisseur, and I am not that special.

we ordered the seafood pancake on recent visits. Twice in a row it did not live up to its billing. A few small pieces of squid and that's what counted as seafood. Other dishes are good, but this one needs to be improved. - From a long time customer

Really good Korean bbq in the area. Enjoyed the Kalbi and bulgogi chicken, which were both very good. Including the various sides that are included. Kimchi was definitely my favorite We got seated pretty quickly and had attentive staff throughout.

I was looking for Korean food that would fill me up. This place was in a corner of a strip mall right next to a karaoke bar. Walked in to friendly folks behind the counter. They cleaned me off a booth and got me seated right away. I ordered the beef bulgogi. It came pretty quick, along with various picked items. The pickled stuff was pretty good. The main course didn't knock me off my feet. It was passable, but it came a little wetter than I wanted... Not undercooked, but almost as if it had been precooked. The onions it was on top of were still raw, I was hoping for cooked. The beef definitely had flavor, but not as strong as I am used to at a traditional BBQ... (This place isn't a BBQ. ) Friendly folks and I would happily give another dish a try. This just didn't hit it for me. The place was clean and the waitstaff was attentive. Good experience overall.

Located in a low key spot in Eagan, it offers authentic Korean dishes that are well seasoned and prepared. Their gobchang gui is one of the best dishes I've ever eaten in my life and I am always willing to drive from far away just to eat this dish. They have the friendliest staff who offer fast service and are knowledgeable about the food. I highly recommend checking this place out!

Wait staff is friendly and conversational. The atmosphere is well lit and the noise level isn't bad. The rice is well cooked and banchan is well prepared. The spice level of the kimchi was less than I assumed it would be but it was well fermented and had the correct taste. This is one of the only authentic Korean restaurants I could find in this area so I even ordered Jap Chae to go. I'm very impressed and I will dine here again.

Best kimchee ever! Its fresh and not too much over powering flavors,kimchee can be overwhelming but this place has the best. Ive been here a few times and its all been great. I forget what those little side dish/bowls are called and the items change but they always have kimchee and its always great and youcan order more for no charge! Love this place!

This was a few years ago I only got reminded of this while browsing the app. I use to order from here all the time, it was like a weekly occurrence. I love Korean food and this was the closest to me. One night I ordered the bibimbap, something I've gotten multiple times. I got really really bad food poisoning that night. Was sick for multiple days. I've been scared to return back since. Such a bummer for a place I use to frequent a lot. Idk it's been a couple years, maybe they've gotten better but just be careful I guess.

I got the kimchi stew which was alright. It was hot and spicy, perfect for a winter day, and it came with rice. The only downside is it took a while to place our order and get our food around dinner time.

Ive never actually had bad Korean food, but everything was too salty, cold, over battered, or dry. What a disappointment! Even the banchan was only mediocre. We got the tempura sheimp and calamari. Their batter was not light and fluffy... it was dense and overwhelming. Their kimchi pancakes were dry and lacked flavor. How is kimchi anything going to lack flavor? I literally came home and knocked out from a sodim coma. ugh

food is so so...Minneapolis uptown is better. Service sucks on this restaurant that dude took our order has a very unpleasant attitude when I asked for banchan he replied" banchan comes after your appetizer" it's bullshit "banchan" is a side dish appetizer. He brought the banchan with my main entree's it's ok but then I see & observed other customers getting theirs as soon as he takes their order in. If you own this business hire someone that has a better customer service or else you lose a lot of client. It's not my first time or 20th time eating to a Korean restaurant. Straighten up your service coz it's sucks!! Ambience not a good vibes

Turned on to this place by my daughter/ very good the hot pit will serve 4 people! Not two- way too much food. The octopus one , don't get it , octopus really really chewy! The rest of the ingredients was tasty though

Hoban Korean Restaurant is my goto spot for Korean food. I love thier beef bolgogi and beef kalbi. They are cooked to perfection and always savory, full of flavor! The spicy wings are also one of my favorites. They should be served fully covered in sauce, garnished with green onions and sesame seeds. (If it's not like this, send it back!) The last time I went only half of my wings were covered in sauce with no garnish. Service is good and fast.

I've come here to the Eagan location several times over the last 4 yrs for events and celebrations. There's not a lot of choices south of the cities so it's nice to come here when you're craving Korean Cuisine. The last two times I've come, I've felt the quality has gone down. The tteok-bokki broth wasn't as good and the gimbap was lacking on the filling. It was mostly rice. The soy dipping sauce it came with though was amazing! They've switched up their banchan items also. I miss the fish cakes & spicy cucumbers. All in all, if you're craving Korean cuisine and live south of the cities, I would suggest Hoban in Eagan but I prefer the Hoban location in Minneapolis the better of the two.

If Hoban represents what Korean food in MSP area, then there is a problem and I just hope that MSP has better Korean restaurants above Hoban's offering. Since I was staying in Eagan area, I found my way here to get my Korean food kick... it's been a week since my last Korean meal (that was in St. Louis and that's another story) and I needed some Korean food. I pulled up, went in and got seated and reviewed the menu. I decided to go with Daegu Maeun Tang. So lets jump into my review of the food and my thoughts. Banchans - they give you 7 items - chives kimchi, green cabbage kimchi wannabe, soybean sprouts, white radish, radish cube kimchi, Napa kimchi. Chive Kimchi - dried out, lacked seasoning and flavor... the chives looked dried out and look like it was in the cooler past it's expiration date. Green Cabbage Kimchi Wannabe - not sure what this side items is supposed to be... why they serve this, I don't know. Soybean Sprouts - decent, need a little bit more of salt. White Radish - needed more vinegar to give it that sour taste and the radish tasted like as if was old, stored in the storage longer then it should have. Radish Cube Kimchi - dried, lack of flavor, it's been in the cooler way too long, very dried... it should had some kimchi broth, but it did not. Napa Kimchi - same as the radish cube kimchi, it looked like it was sitting around way too long. Daegu Maeun Tang - When I got this dish, it puzzled me as to what it was... it looked like a Daegu Maeun Tang's I had before... it had fish in there, but that's where the similarities ends... Like all Daegu Maeun tang, it had tofu, zucchini, carrots, fish cakes, fish and mushroom, but unlike Daegu Maeun tang, they used spicy beef (yukgaejang) broth to make this dish, in addition, it had eggs in a fish soup, who puts egg in a seafood tang??? There was no radish, which gives that refreshing taste. None of the employees here spoke Korean, that's fine... the clientele here was more of non-Korean Asians and your local townies that wanted to grab some okay Korean food. In looking around the restaurant, the place looked like old Chinese restaurant converted into a Korean restaurant. The only Korean folks that came in during my visit were two folks, who ordered mulnaenmyun. I guess I could have gone to downtown MSP to try other Korean restaurants, but I just hope that Hoban will step up and do a make over with their Korean foods. Not sure when I'll be back in town, but when that day happens, I'll make sure to stop by and hope by that time, thing would have changed.

Two words: lunch buffet! Price $8.99, all you can eat - might be one of the best deals that's under the radar in the twin cities. The knock is you have to drive to Eagan, however it isn't too bad since it's a straight shot down Hwy 77, exit Cty 13 and Hoban is in a strip mall by the Outlet Mall. If you haven't had Hoban's chicken wings, you don't know what you're missing - spicy, flavorful and yes, sticky and a little messy but as Chuck Rhodes said on Billions (Showtime) "Worth It!" So what's in this so-called buffet: bulgogi, japchae, sweet & sour pork (Korean sweet and sour is very good), there's also a spicy chicken dish, vegetable tempura (super healthy, well not really), steamed rice, fried rice, and a soup dish. Did I mention it's all you can eat for lunch, so don't eat a big breakfast and you might not need to eat dinner, just saying ... Don't forget since this is a Korean restaurant, you still get banchan - I think there were 3 types of kimchi, potato, soybean sprouts, and another sprout dish. Service is good, depending how busy the restaurant is. They have a couple TVs so you can catch SportsCenter or a Twins game at lunch. Tip: Hoban in Eagan doesn't accept American Express so use your Visa. Parking is free (and plentiful) since it's at the end of the strip mall. Also next door is Korean karoake (Noraebang) called DoReMi but I think you have to stay pretty late before it opens (not to mention you have to sing, duh!) Bottom-line: it's worth the drive for lunch - you won't be disappointed!

I really enjoy this place because it's where I can come for my Korean food fix! It's not quite like home but does hit the spot! Every time we come here, we order way too much food! But as always, makes for awesome left overs! I love all the Korean pancakes, the jajamyon is really good and highly recommend the kalbi and bulgolgi. This time I ordered the bibim nae myon and it is such comfort food! It has a nice spiciness to it. Noodles are my fave! :) Not a huge fan of the duk bukki here but I only had it once. May try it again. Also, the kim bap can be a hit and miss but this time I really really loved it! The owner was walking around and saying hi to everyone which I really appreciate. Every time we come it's packed but we are seated quickly. There's karaoke rooms to rent. We did it once and it was ok. Kinda expensive and we can hear people singing in the rooms connected to us so don't think I'd rent from here again. The mics are average quality too.

My experience was pleasant and gave me very little to critique. A straightforward Korean restaurant with an extensive menu. The restaurant was clean and contemporary. The service was fast and friendly, and the food from my experience with Korean food was authentic and very good. I'd definitely go here again and make it my go-to for Korean cuisine.

When we arrived at Hoban, it didn't take us long to find a parking spot. Interior was nice and comfortable, with big soft sofa like seats, I truly enjoy seating in the booth area. The service was good and the food was done fast. While the kalbi was really hot, the server cut the meat into smaller pieces for us on our table. The Kalbitang was good too. The bathroom was clean enough.

I absolutely love Korean BBQ and have tried KBBQ in several other cities before so I had some high standards coming in. The format of this place is similar to others where they have the grill in the middle and a few seats scattered around the tables. The service was decent, not particularly slow or fast, but somewhere in the middle. It was pretty loud in there since they had some K pop running in the background on some TV's. I love K pop but thought the music was too loud each time I've come here. The main turn-off to me was the smaller menu and expensive prices compared to other KBBQ places in other cities. It might have been just because there aren't as many places to choose from in the Twin Cities but I thought the $20-25 spent for the meat given was too expensive. My husband and I don't eat much but felt like the amount of meat wasn't enough for us two - for the price paid. The flavor of the beef bulgogi, however, was on point and delicious. Lots of flavor! The experience is definitely fun. Love all the little sides that it comes with. I would say go here to try it at least once. But you can get more beef bulgogi meat for a cheaper price at Costco and grill it or cook it on a stove, and it's much cheaper. Still, definitely worth a visit for the experience or meeting with friends.

I ordered a bunch of food for Father's day to my parents in MN through Ubereats and at that time my parents only thanked me and said it was very good. HOWEVER, when I came to visit my parents, they said it was the most horrible Korean food they've ever tasted. I was so embarrassed to find out that they did not enjoy their food and hid from me. They said the meat they gave them only had fat, the side dishes were tiny and they put absolute no effort into packing nor cooking their food. Yeokhwi was packed with apple instead of pear. I was so embarrassed. I guess I will have to find another Korean restaurant for my parents.

This was definitely authentic Korean. It's tucked away in a strip mall, which for some reason makes it more authentic to me. It is worth the stop. That said, this is only a three- star review because of service and the cleanliness of the restaurant. Foodwise, fabulous. My husband ordered a dish that was basically fancy fried rice. It was absolutely delicious. Lightly fried rice with veggies and a copious amount of egg. Delicious delicious. I ordered the Tuk Mandoo Gook, which is a delightful light broth with vegetable dumplings (or rice cake), veggies and eggs. I was delighted when the bowl was put down in front of me because it contained probably a dozen dumplings. I love ordering dumpling soup and I always feel shorted on the dumplings. Not so here. I even gave my husband two of them. The soup itself was flavorful and tasty. A+. Our service was really lackluster, and I got the impression that our waiter was mad at us when we asked for a few extra minutes and were not ready to order when he stopped the first time. The employees all emitted the vibe of "annoyed I am at work" rather than "happy to see customers." But the thing that really got me was that the place just felt dirty. The carpet was old and not clean, tables sat dirty for a long time, even the menus were sticky. It's too bad. Otherwise this review certainly would have been higher.

I love this restaurant the food is delicious, but they really need to remove the carpet it looks veery dirty and the bathrooms are not kept clean it needs some remodeling. For people that suffer from allergies the carpet is a most go asap! But again the food is delicious

It's been awhile since we have been here. We stopped in for lunch on our way through the area. We had Dolsot bibimbap which was good. I had the seafood which was quite good but I've had better. The service was good. It is quite good for a Minnesota Korean restaurant.

We got a ton of appetizers and bulgogi and everything was great! Service was very attentive and our drinks stayed full and table cleaned off. Their bulgogi was delicious and everything we got tasted fresh and great. Definitely recommend!

Such a delicious Korean restaurant. Many delicious dishes. Great for Keto diets. They have dishes like Bul Go Gi: Add lettuce-wrap for $3.50 Bul Go Gi: Savory prime beef thinly sliced and marinated in soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic, green onions and pepper. delicious mushrooms. I cannot say enough about this place.....they serve "Bud light" & many varieties of alcohol. Healthy wonderful dishes. I've gone here over 10 times. °°°°°° they also have Karaoke rooms they run called DoReMi ..sound proof rooms with the latest music --- bring your friends and you can eat in the rooms and have fun singing your sings in private, together... love love love

Food was not the greatest. I felt like they were in a rush to cook because we sat down around 7:30pm-8pm, hence they close at 9:30pm. The food came out quickly after we placed our order but everything was very little to no season at all. The stone bowl was very plain, as if they just tossed everything together without any salt and sesame oil. There was a lot of rice to little vegetables and protein ratio. The Beef bulgogi was lightly seasoned, and the meat seem like it was take off the grill as soon as it cooked, more steamed than grilled. Calamari was very rubbery, over cooked. Beef galbi, was seared nicely and seasoned well but very chewy. First time and last. I
