⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Hands down the best Asian fusion experience we've ever had! We came to Hochi Mama to celebrate my girlfriend’s birthday, and to say it was amazing would be an understatement. From start to finish, everything was absolutely perfect. The atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming, the service was attentive and friendly, and the food… just wow. We ordered around seven sides, two mains, and four cocktails, and every single item was bursting with flavour, creativity, and that bold fusion twist that makes Hochi Mama stand out. Each bite was a delightful surprise — you could really taste the passion and thought behind every dish. The cocktails were just as impressive — fun, balanced, and beautifully presented. The whole experience felt incredibly special, and we couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out. Thank you so much, Hochi Mama, for making my girlfriend’s birthday dinner so memorable. We’ll definitely be back (probably very soon)!

We had a fantastic night at Hochi Mama. We had a group of 4 and selected the feed me option at $50 per person. Food was beautiful and very generous serves. Waiter was great and the overall vibe was really great. Looking forward to returning. Great cocktails

We loved our time dining at Hochi Mama! The service was amazing, and the vibe of the place is fun and funky, perfect for an Asian fusion experience. The food was excellent, and the set dinner menu at $49 per person was great value: 2 smaller plates, 2 larger dishes, and 1 side. We also tried two of their cocktails, which were beautifully presented and tasted just as good. The highlight was the surprise birthday treat. They brought out a cake with a candle and even sang happy birthday. Such a thoughtful touch! Highly recommended for both the quality of food and the warm, vibrant atmosphere. No wonder this place is always packed!

Must do in Melbourne! Excellent value for money, beautiful food and first class service. We were in the mood for Asian and oh my, this place was brilliant! A friendly welcome from the minute we entered the door, our server was fantastic! We opted for the 'feed me now' menu - and have had to take a doggy bag home - so great value! The food was incredibly tasty, fresh and really well presented. I also had the pash and dash cocktail which was delicious. Everyone we interacted with was just so friendly, the atmosphere is fun and welcoming and the staff look like they have a great time. If you're in Melbourne - do yourself a favour and head to Hochi Mama - you will NOT be disappointed. Thanks team for a great experience!

From the moment we walked in, the place radiated such good vibes — warm lighting, relaxed atmosphere, and a welcoming team that made the experience feel special. The Thai food was delicious, with generous portions that left us satisfied. While the menu leaned more toward a modern, fusion take on traditional Thai cuisine, the creativity in the dishes was impressive and well-balanced. The cocktails were another highlight — beautifully presented and perfectly crafted to complement the flavours of the meal. Whether you're after a fun night out or a relaxed dinner, this spot hits the mark. Would definitely come back again — it’s a great place to enjoy a twist on Thai food in a stylish, feel-good setting!

We tried the feed-me menu here ($100 for two) and it was a fantastic value. Starters kicked off strong with the tuna tataki (10/10, so fresh) and prawn sliders – loved the sauce, though the brioche could have used a bit more toasting. For mains, we had the chicken pad Thai and pork belly with broccoli. Both were generous portions and really satisfying. The side of seafood spring rolls was another highlight. Service was excellent – our Irish waiter was attentive, friendly, and very thorough when it came to allergies. The only downside was the 1.5-hour dining limit, which feels a bit rushed for a multi-course feed-me menu. Overall: great food, great value, and great service – just wish we had more time to enjoy it all.

My first time here for lunch today. It was a beautiful experience. All our orders from small, large, side, drinks and dessert were all good. I loved the fried rice with soft shell crab the most. You should give it a try. Service was excellent from this Irish guy ! Will surely come back. Cheers

We came in on a busy Friday night without a booking and were lucky to grab seats at the bar. Despite how packed it was, the vibe was great! The Peach Princess cocktail was absolutely amazing — perfectly balanced and refreshing. The lobster tacos had a great spicy kick, the cashew stir fry and mekong chicken are must-haves — so full of flavour! It was quite loud due to the crowd, but the friendly staff and fantastic food more than made up for it. Definitely worth a visit!
