Chef Jason Stratton to Lead Kitchen at Mezzanotte in Georgetown | Eater Seattle

"At the Marion Street open-air food court that once served downtown office workers pre-pandemic, Mado’s Taste of Palestine was one of the vendors that closed in early 2020, and the owner has told the Puget Sound Business Journal she is already on the hunt for a new North Seattle location." - Gabe Guarente

This was an amazing experience. I had never had Somali food and wanted to try it while in the Twin Cities. We definitely chose the right spot for the first experience!!! The lamb was literally falling off the bone and seasoned perfectly. The rice was sooo good, and we were even given a banana to try with it (a must!). The chai was spicy and warm and delicious. Aisha helped us choose our dishes and was an extremely accommodating host. 10/10 recommend and if ever back in the Twin Cities, this might just be my first stop!

This place was AMAZING. I don't eat Somali food often so the worker gave some suggestions and it was all GREAT 👍🏾. First time eating rice with a banana, so I wasn't sure how to eat it, when I asked a worker she smiled and said do whatever you want. Every worker was so caring and giving 110%. I'm excited to go again

Great food. Fun staff. The customers helped fill in my gaps on knowledge or understanding. Even offered to grab my meal, but I had already paid. So it says a lot about the atmosphere and the service they provide. Im gonna make this routine for sure.

The atmosphere was welcoming, clean, and full of warmth — the kind of place where culture and comfort meet. The food was incredible. From the first bite, you can tell everything is made with care, tradition, and love. The flavors were rich, perfectly seasoned, and reminded me of home-cooked meals passed down through generations. The portions were generous and the presentation was beautiful.

I eat here every week, and am always excited to walk in the door. The food is delicious. We order pasta and chicken most often, big portions. Family run with incredible service. Have also loved the lamb + rice!

SO good. You must try #6 (a chicken dish) with hot Hodma tea.

This place got incredible food (lamb and rice were delicious!), I would recommend going here if you crave something home-made but with MENA flavors. The service was very warm and hospitable, appreciated it a lot

Amazing food! I've had a lot of falafel, but their falafel wrap was hands down the best. We also tried the goat and rice and a sambusa - both were incredibly tasty. The restaurant is very clean and spacious, and the woman who took our order/served us was friendly and welcoming. Great for lunch, I highly recommend it!
