We had an awesome experience here! We were the first in the maize maze and the employees were happy & lovely toward us. Grabbed a few apples to make the best apple crisp I’ve ever had! Excited to get my pumpkin in a couple weeks.

Google
First time going to this patch after living here my whole life. I couldn’t be more impressed. Hoffman Farm Store has everything you need in a patch including an authentic pumpkin patch, trail, corn maze and adorable photo ops. It is also incredibly affordable! We appreciated that HFS is well thought out, clean and easy to navigate. We have been to every patch between Sauvies and Keizer and they are all overpriced and over crowded. You can tell HFS is ran and designed with love.

A Tale of Two Experiences: Amazing Patch, Awful Pie I really wanted to give Hoffman Family Farms a 5-star review. The pumpkin patch itself is fantastic—the activities are amazing, fun for the whole family, and very affordable. We had a wonderful time there and would absolutely return for that seasonal experience. Unfortunately, our visit was marred by a truly disappointing purchase: the chicken pot pies. While the pumpkin patch is a great value, the pot pies are the exact opposite. At $12.75 each for a 6-inch pie, we expected a quality, hearty meal. What we got was a tiny pie in a tin only about 1 inch tall, holding barely a cup of filling. To make matters worse, it was hard to find any actual chicken in them! To make matters worse, no prices were posted, so we assumed they would be in the $5-6 range. The cashier rang them up without mentioning the total and quickly put the receipt away, which felt a bit misleading. When we finally cooked them, the disappointment was complete. The filling was subpar, with grayish-black potatoes and a noticeable lack of chicken, and the flavor simply wasn't good. Frankly, a frozen pot pie from Safeway for 99 cents tastes better and is a far better value. It's a shame that such a wonderful farm experience is let down so severely by a single, overpriced food item. We'll be back for the pumpkins and the fun, but we'll never make the mistake of buying a pot pie again.

Google
A family owned lovely business place where you can go for many U-Pick events. The staff members are very friendly and was going the extra length to make your visit memorable. The train ride for $5 is ideal too which goes around the pickup areas. It is optional since you can even walk around but worth the ride. The berries were $2 per pound and delicious. The store has many items to eat and strawberry milkshake is a must try. A highly recommended place!

Google
Beautiful farm! Lots of kid-friendly things to do. There’s a really big corn maze, a farmers market, they had a freezer with gluten free pies, a vintage pop up shop, a train, and a restaurant next to the train. There were tractors the kids can climb in and a big playground. One structure was a tractor with slides fitted into it, another was a huge pile of tires. The tire structure made me think of pillow forts, genius. When we went there was also a beautiful field of sunflowers in bloom. Parking was really spacious too, just a little dusty but I’d prefer that over rain and mud it was a perfect day.

Tina C.

Google
Hands down the BEST pumpkin patch ever!! Not only do they offer free entry so you can still explore the mazes, climb on the tire pyramid and take picks on haystack and old cars/tractors but the food is phenomenal and the pumpkins were a great price!! We got 4 pumpkin for under $25. The store has an amazing assortment as well. I highly recommend the kettle corn mix! Thank you Hoffman Farms, what a fun and photo perfect day!!

Google
Love Hoffman Farms year round!! We most recently went for morning storytime and my son had the best time. They serve pastries and coffee, in addition to seasonal produce. Their berries are the best! We also love coming here in the fall to ride the train, visit the pumpkin patch, and play. Thank you Hoffman Farms!!!

Yelp
I've been coming here for a few years and it is always a good time. They do a great job of rolling with the seasons and we've been here for berry picking in the spring and summer and apple cider and donuts in the fall. The farm store has a great selection and this year I bought apples for apple pie and they were perfect! One thing to note is that the donuts come with way more than we were expecting. I ate all of them but next time I might consider splitting it with a friend. I don't have kids but this place has a bunch of huge and super unique structures for kids to run around on including a giant structure of tires (looks safe) and tractors and stuff for them to run around on. Next time I have my niece's I'll definitely be bringing them here. The staff is always super friendly and helpful here and they have tons of parking. We are so lucky in Beaverton to have a place like this just 10 minutes down the road where it feels like you're hours outside the city. Everyone should stop by and support this local business!

Yelp
We continue to return here for all the seasons. We have been here for Halloween, Christmas, Mother's Day, and now u-pick strawberries. They have a fun scenic train ride ($5 per passenger except infants under 1 are free). They have a playground including slides, tunnels, and a sandpit. They also are hosting story time in the summer 1x per week. I have been loving the pastries they have especially the strawberries and cream croissant. And in season are the strawberries which are $2 per pound if you pick them yourself!

Samuel K.

Yelp
Ambiance was super cozy! Loved the live music and tasty beer. Pretty standard Apple cider donuts, but I think I got some of the older batch.

Yelp
First time coming here during autumn. I truly appreciate free parking and free admission. It was beautiful and lots of beautiful areas to view and see. Even though it was a very busy day, the staff were all very friendly and nice. I got delicious cinnamon donuts and popcorn. My friends also enjoyed the ciders, too but the drinks took a long time. There were local brands that were also able to sell their goods, kind of like a farmer's market but smaller. I liked walking around the area and most of the area that was open was paved. There were huge trackers and a corn maze which we didn't have time to explore. The barn also had a lot of foods and local goods for sale too. Though you can't pick your own pumpkin, they have lots for you to choose from in their crates and they all looked lovely and fresh! This was super fun and will come again next year, aside from their berry picking season!

Yelp
My first time picking strawberries and it's definitely a very popular destination. It's a bit of a trek to get to the strawberry patches though they do have a train that will take you for $5 a person. However, if you walk through you can see all the other berry bushes. We went to the Tillamook patches as the closer patches were all picked over. The strawberries are smaller than I imagined, but super sweet and delicious. There's a nice store that has delicious strawberry milkshakes, pies, jams, and other merchandise. Plenty of picnic benches next to the store to eat it as well.

Yelp
Mid July, they had marrionberries, blackberries, blueberries, some boysenberries, and raspberries that scented the air like candy. They provide unlimited buckets, boxes, even cartons. I'm shocked that it wasn't crowded on a Saturday morning, even with berries priced $2/lb! The blueberries were delicious and very easy to pick, but the raspberries were the best value and best tasting (albeit more effort). The carts are rickety and the walkways are uneven, so it can be slow going. But be sure to go all the way to the back of the fields for the best pickings

Yelp
This place is a must-visit during the fall! When it comes to pumpkin patches, this is a great FREE option. Many farms require a paid admission for their pumpkin patch season, but not Hoffman. You do pay for things like the train ride, corn made or any pumpkins you pick out, but that is to be expected. They have many pumpkins already picked out and ready for you to grab out of boxes, but you can also head to the field to pick your pumpkin straight from the patch. Each pumpkin costs $0.60 per pound. On weekends they have live music, a food truck and Barn Door Brewing company on site to make it fun for adults too. It can get pretty crowded on a weekend when the weather is nice, but there's lots of parking available and the farm grounds are huge and spread out with lots of different activities for the whole family.

Nancy L.

Yelp
This farm is THE BEST in PDX ! From the pies to the fruity milk shakes. Can't live without them.

Yelp
My favorite bakery, the former Rosie Mae's, found a new home within Hoffman Farm Store and combined they bring the best of berries, butter, and breads to delicious life! Go for the cinnamon rolls, marionberry sour cream pie, berry scones, and if the season is right grab some fresh berries too! I've gone enough times now to recognize a few members of the Hoffman family and appreciate their passion and heart evident in everything they do. Super sweet people. Check out their instagram or website for their next event and definitely, definitely grab a baked good while you're there!

Yelp
The best family farm in SW PDX, Beaverton, and Hillsboro, Oregon area! Wonderful multi-generational family farm with U-pick berries and pumpkins, plus a corn maze. Check it out and you will come back at least once per year!!

Yelp
Fabulous family friendly farm. In the summer, pick blueberries and other berries. In the fall, it's all about apple cider donuts, trolly rides and pumpkins! Huge shaded picnic area to enjoy delicious food from the kitchen. Lots of picnic tables. Just note the brick patio is old and lots of uneven spots. Having had a hip replacement recently, im super aware of areas that could cause a stumble. The street tacos are legit! Homemade corn tortillas piled with steak or chicken, with fresh cilantro and onions, wedge of lime. What drove it home for me was the freshly made corn tortilla. Makes all the difference! They are decent size so one tortilla per taco is plent Nd allows the filling to share top billing. Get the freshly made apple cider donuts!!! A bag of 7 small donuts is $4. Buy an extra bag to take home! You will thank me. The farm store has fresh veggies depending on what's harvesting. Fresh corn (I couldn't resist), tomatoes, Italian plums, tomatillas, strawberries, stringbeans, etc. All at reasonable prices. Passed by this farm on my way to wine tasting and saw the sign for fresh corn and donuts so had to stop in. I'm so glad I did, it was the perfect spot for a quick and delicious lunch! And since it was a weekday, it was so peaceful. Weekends during pumpkin season are packed! They have live music and lots of activities. Big parking area that indicates how crowded it gets. Everyone working there greets you with a genuine smile and hello.

Yelp
Kind staff & berries were very tasty! Fun experience to pick your own berries as well

Yelp
Ditto to everyone else's review. Tons of $2.75 U-pick berries and if your kiddos get bored quickly, a very nice fenced in playground of tires and a tractor slide. Don't forget the train. Kids were entertained for some time.

Yelp
I have been coming to the Hoffman Farm for over 5 years. Their staff is friendly, I love their weekly newsletter that comes via email to show what's going on as an event or what's available. You have the choice to go right to the store to purchase goodies or go out in the field and pick yourself. No matter the time of year the staff always greets you upon entry, is willing to answer any questions you might have, and the crops they grow are worth the trip. If you want fresh and friendly check out Hoffman Farms.

Fiona Q.

Yelp
I know people usually come this far for just the trees, but I came to try their baked goodies & I think this is my new favorite place. I've tried a lot of pies in my life, but this chicken pot pie is delicious! The crust is like a flakey pastry while inside was hefty and full of flavour-- and not too salty! Most pies I get are more watery and collapse when you cut a slice, but not this pie. This pie stood the pie cut test and came onto my plate in one delicious piece. I'm so glad I grabbed some pies to try. These were so good that I came back nearing Christmas to grab more pies for myself and my neighbor. I did also grab some cookies, and my favorite cookie was called the filbert. I'd drive an hour for that cookie and their chicken pot pie. Don't sit on their baked goods, their baking team are baking gods.

Yelp
Ride the choochoo while you are there getting your products and relaxing at the farm,

Yelp
Every season we look forward to going here for Pumpkin patch, berry picking etc. Kids love their haystack and sand hills - absolute hit! We also love their soft serve and especially freshly made berry smoothies are a must every time we visit! They've got a big parking space and worth mentioning is their mother's room spot. It's a happy within city farm that offers a lot.

Yelp
This is one of my favorite farms in the Portland area. They have strawberries, blueberries, and more. The best berries ever. Way better than any grocery store berries. They give you a tray carton to put your berries in. You get to pick as much as you want and then pay per pound. The strawberries are a 5 mins walk away from the store front. The blueberries are closer to the entrance. They also have a train if you want to pay for a quick ride to the end of the field. Super fun experience and you're rewarded with delicious berries. If you don't want to pick the berries yourself you can also buy them at the farm store along with other baked goodies they have available. Check out their website and instagram to see what's in season. Everyone who works here has also been incredibly nice in answering questions and explaining how things work. Hoffman Farm is such a gem.

Yelp
Still our favorite farm close to home! We enjoy the variety of things here at the farm store and things to do here on this farm. Best pumpkin pie shakes around. Tasty variety of hand pies too. Kettle corn is my weakness so always have to grab a bag!
google avatar

Sun P.

Yelp
Well, went to pick strawberries on 6/8 and there was no ripe berries to pick. It was very crowded and picked over. It was still nice walk around the field. Looks like they have huge blueberry fields as well as raspberry, boysenberries and blackberries... so those should be fine in July and onwards. Did purchase quarter of pre-picked Tillamook strawberries for $9!!! (they were out of hood), and they did not taste too good!! Went to red berry farm week before that and picked a whole flat full for $29 ( you pay for the box and you fill it as much as you want) . But they do not have hood variant.

Yelp
Very nice place with lots to offer. Everyone we talked to was very friendly and helpful. We'll be back!

Yelp
I read a Google review from a gentleman who was dissatisfied with his trip out to a local farm store in Scholls. I'm sorry His experience was less than steller. Having lived in Scholls for over 35 years we tend to be protective of our local farmers. Jay & Kelly Hoffman are such a blessing to our community and support every endeavor possible. If the gentleman came out to the farm store after 5:30 pm he must not have tealized all picking ceases 1/2 an hour before closing, which would be 5:30. I'm sure we all understand the need to close down machinery, clear out fields and close out registers. I encourage him to try visiting again during farm store hours, giving ample time for picking and enjoying all the farm has to offer: the train, the coffee drinks, baked goods, jams, live music several times a month, and many seasonal events. Remember extending grace is always the better option!

Yelp
My sister and I used to love come here for our annual berry picking extravaganza, but now that they've upped their prices and are charging per flat, it was a little discouraging to come this year. The selection of berries, depending on the month of the year, are still quite plentiful and diverse. Throughout the years, we have picked blackberries, cap berries, marionberries, raspberries, strawberries, blueberries, and many many more. Although sometimes it's a hit or miss in terms of sweetness, it's always fun to enjoy the literal fruits of your labor at the end of a long picking session. The fruits ARE fresh, so make sure to make good use out of them or they will go bad pretty quickly (which we found out recently when we found some moldy fruits - a pretty nasty surprise).
google avatar

Jody L.

Yelp
We went for u pick. The price was very reasonable, $2.75 for all berries! I've been to other places and the price ranged from $3.75-$6.00 per lb. We went on a weekday and it was hot, make sure you bring water bottles and a hat. The farm store was near empty as it was closing time. But we got coconut cookies and apple pie. Both were delicious. We will be coming here again very soon!
google avatar

Nico P.

Yelp
My little family goes here every year for pumpkins and berry picking. It's such a kid-friendly space. They have delicious food and seasonal shakes. It can get hot in the summer and it's a bit of a walk for the strawberries in particular, so make sure you bring water and sunscreen, and you'll be fine. They have a fun little train you can ride, a play space for kids, and lots of great photo opportunities. Oh, and in the fall for pumpkin season, they have a corn maze. Don't forget to take a pie home. They are amazing! I wanted to point out how observant and kind the owner was with us. Our daughter fell and the wheelbarrow with all of our berries tipped over, and the owner saw that and walked over with a whole new box of berries. Thank you for that. We were so grateful, and you made my kiddo's day.
google avatar

Melissa C.

Yelp
Best pumpkin patch experience in the area! Admission is FREE and they have lots of other free attractions to experience. You can also pay for the train ride or corn maze. Great farm store with warm donuts, cider and all the fun fall things. They really know how to create a good experience!
google avatar

Stephanie W.

Yelp
I have a local small daycare business and the Hoffman's were kind enough to donate some small pumpkins for my kids. They so enjoyed decorating them. They are so generous with the community. I just love going out there with our family. Thank you Hoffman's!
google avatar

Nelson L.

Yelp
On vacay and wanted to get some berries. So we came here to Hoffman Farm. Very nice people who explained the process and where the different berries are at. Beautiful farm with a nice general store to shop at. Everyone was just so nice and helpful.

Nancy A.

Yelp
such an amazing experience!! they had lots of berries and really good prices!! The blueberries were very easy to pick!! and there were tons of Verities!

Jasmin Jaygurl Y.

Yelp
Very cute farm with farm stand with so much to offer! Lunch boxes, milkshakes, pies, hand pies, all sorts of other snacks as well. And they have a cute train perfect for kids to transport you to the back of the fields, or even just to ride around for fun. This was our 2nd time here and will be back for sure! Also parking was easy and free, and the grounds were kept clean and had a very cute aesthetic. We arrived during the week and saw vendors setting up for a weekend market, wish we could have attended that too! The farm offers free red wagons and boxes to hold and transport your berries, but I'd recommend bringing your own containers if boxes aren't enough for you. Just be sure to check their website to see what berries you'd like to pick, we had just missed strawberries but we got some delicious blueberries, raspberries and blackberries.
google avatar

Dalida O.

Yelp
An absolute must while in the area. Little red wagons are available to pick berries. Prices are incredible. People were friendly and helpful. Cute place to spend an afternoon. Look for the mini train for $5 a ride. Vintage photo Ops are everywhere. I'm so happy I took the drive to experience this place

Yelp
Hoffman Farms is a sweet, local farm conveniently located inside the Portland Metro, on the outer W. Side. The grounds of the farm are picturesque, and patrons can buy their tasty baked goods, honey, candles and produce year round. When seasonal, a variety of fruit picking is available as well. At Halloween, there is a corn maze, train ride, and a beautiful & diverse selection of pumpkins and gourds. Currently, the farm is doing a wonderful job with maintaining safety Covid measures especially distancing, without it influencing the overall experience.
google avatar

Shirley M.

Yelp
Commercial trap for people who never grew up in the country. Expensive, crowed, strawberry field small with tiny unripe berries that are not worth the price. If you want an outing , not expecting to pick enough for putting up and don't mind crowds, this place is for you. Just make sure you have enough money in the bank.
google avatar

Sammi B.

Yelp
Overall this place was a fun family outing. First off - you cannot use your own containers and have to pick into the boxes they provide. These are so incredibly hard to hold onto and forget it if you have children or anything that would require one of your hands not being free. I dropped my box and within our 30 minutes in the berry fields, sauce for others drop their box. One woman had the biggest box you can buy which I believe was like 13 pounds, and it was nearly full of blueberries. Her blueberries went everywhere. She was so devastated. They only have porta potty's which were the nicest portapottys I had ever used in my entire life, but still with children can just be an absolute nightmare. We bought a ton of stuff from their bakery/farm store. Somethings were really well priced while others made no sense... The cookies were terrible don't waste your time. The pies were incredible!! Get a sour cream Marion berry if you know it's good for you. My biggest issue though wasn't the bad cookies, or the overpriced pie pieces that looked and sounded incredible but actually were quite dry and not good... My biggest problem is with the upick system itself. There is no information as to what areas would be a good place to pick, what things are still in season... Maybe you're reading this and you're very pro and you're like hey just Google it you Dingus. But to be fair a farm berry isn't always gonna look like what the Internet says it should look like. I did love their Marionberries... They are so delicious. But unfortunately the raspberries and the blackberries were not good despite their website saying that they should be ready. And also on their website it says that they have strawberries and they literally did not have any for upick. The smallest box you can buy is $9 and although we did eat quite a few as we picked... Because of the lack of strawberries we filled up maybe 1/3 of this nine dollar box. I love blueberries and marionberries (which is all we had in our box)... But my kids do not. They were only convinced to go on the promise of strawberries... They have strawberries for purchase in the bakery shop. These were nine dollars for a box that filled up half the $9 box that we already paid for. I asked the girl if because the you-pick strawberries were no longer good, if she could just fill up the rest of my box with strawberries and honor the original $9 I paid for the u pick box. Surprise! She didn't. So I paid $18 for probably about 2 cups of berries. Maybe three with the ones that we ate in the field. I would say that was disappointing and my suggestion would be to skip the upick all together and buy berries from their store if you're really set on bringing some home. They have an incredible playground that is unfortunately not shaded at all so we weren't able to play too much even though we arrived at 930. The piping and random farm tools of the used to make the playground get very hot. It was about 75° the UV index was only at about four and still the items were incredibly hot so I can't imagine that they would be usable anytime after 10am. All in all we spent about 50 bucks or so, for sweet treats and two hours of a pretty good time. Supporting local is really important to us and we recognize the need for places like Hoffman family farms. If you feel the same, I would recommend this place. Just avoid the cookies and the upick& buy a box of berries from them. But by all means do not avoid the sour cream pie!!
google avatar

Yelp
Berries are here! Upon arrival, plenty of parking spaces and even an overfill lot as well as a handicapped parking spot. Systems in place for staff and visitors with signs around the entrance and store. Even in the u-pick areas the berries are labeled and hand washing stations at the entrance and on the way back too (though not all had paper towels). A little shaded area by the berries and a large outdoor seating area if eating from the bakery/store. I like that it's U-pick or you can buy pre-picked berries (though a bit more expensive). The greeter is very helpful and knowledgeable. She sends you to the next station if you want to pick berries. Due to the pandemic, the berries are picked by placing them in cardboard boxes and various size containers, depending on what you want. The employees at the u-pick station are knowledgeable as well and give directions on where to go for each berry. The bakery is where you pay for the berries picked and it was easy to spot and go through. Various stations to order and pick up goods like pie slices or milkshakes. All the employees were wearing masks and there was a system in place that was seen throughout! The outdoor dining area was being cleaned as I was leaving and it was easy to keep distance as the rows and rows of berries were abundant. On their website it says cash register area will be sanitized after each customer (scales, pin pad, countertops) and as I was behind one person, I didn't see what she bought or how she paid so cannot speak on that but felt social distancing was maintained throughout the farm.

Yelp
The farm is beautiful with cute activities like a train and play area! Although we went there for their strawberries this year, and the actual strawberry bushes are quite small, they don't look like mature plants. This meant very small berries, and my group of 7 left with just a few handfuls as they had seemed to be already over-picked by the time we went. Seems like a very nice farm, I would just recommend going somewhere else for strawberries specifically!
google avatar

Jackie M.

Yelp
We love to come and pick some berries and get berry milkshakes. The u pick prices are amazing and my children love the process. We like to come three times each summer. First strawberries, then blueberries/Marion berries/raspberries, finally blackberries. All of them are amazing.
google avatar

William S.

Yelp
A good place to either pick, or purchase pre-picked Strawberries. Plenty of parking. Call before going, as they have days when u-pick is closed. However you can purchase pre-picked berries at those timed.

Sally A.

Yelp
Haven't been in a good five years if not longer. I was really nice last time I went! Would love to go back very soon

Yelp
Family friendly | Cute farm | Great pumpkins I have a lot of great things to say about this place. We've been to a few farms over the years and this one is one of our favorites so far. Free admission. Not a huge farm where things get overpopulated and chaotic. Cute decor and outdoor setup. Harvested pumpkins and pumpkins in a field still on vines. Bounce house. Train ride. Cute store. Live music. I loved that they had red wagon carts available for you to tow around for your pumpkins. My 20 month old daughter wanted to sit and be carted around everywhere haha! The pumpkins are nice and affordably priced. They have various pumpkins too (sorry, I don't know the names): cinderella pumpkins, regular traditional orange ones, and boil-looking funky ones. The pumpkin patch in the back has some old cars that provided nice rustic backdrops. You can go inside them too. We had a lot of fun in the field. It wasn't crowded either when we went, even on a sunny Saturday. We picked up 3 - 4 pumpkins for $11 ($.50/lb at 22lbs). My only critique was that there's lines. It's not as bad compared to other large farms, but it can get crowded in the store. Overall, we will be back again next year. I like the atmosphere, pricing and quality pumpkins.

Yelp
This is a lovely farm. It was extremely packed, which was expected on a weekend and Halloween season. It's well kept and has a modern taste. The sunflower field was beautiful!! The playground is nicely setup. The pumpkin field is great. The train ride costs $5 per person. It was enjoyable though nothing spectacular. The trains itself are nicely made. They also have a market in which you purchase sweet corn, kettle corn, honey, jam, and others sweet treats including mini apple cider donuts.

Ysela G.

Yelp
Beautiful place . Extremely affordable! Went there for their pumpkin patch and to get our christmas tree. great service all around . 10/10 recommend fun for the whole family! their farm store has really great finds . even GLUTEN FREE / VEGAN pies. HAVE TO BUY THEIR KETTLE CORN!! can not overstate that it's so addicting i recommend buying at least 2 because if you buy just one it's gonna be gone before you get home!

Yelp
Staff were all super friendly and helpful. Plenty of berries and lots of variety (we went beginning of July), and price was excellent. The wagons were helpful and the berries were so good! We hope to be back someday when we're in town again!

Lori I.

Yelp
I really wanted to pick blueberries on August 11th. Most farms I called said they didn't have any more left, that the season was over, but Hoffman had a ton of blueberries, blackberries and the best baked goods! Bonus for me were the GLUTEN FREE tarts...they also had regular fruit pies, ice cream, jams, syrups, this place was a WINNER! This was our family's very first PICK YOUR OWN experience and we had a blast!

Yelp
My mother and myself have been going to Hoffman Farm for several years. Always wonderful folks willing to assist. Today's u-pick visit, was early in the morning with a wonderful warming sun. Each for us with a carton full of delicious raspberries, especially tasty after our very hot weather :) I waited for my mother in the cooling shade of a small tree, while she finished picking her prized fruit. From there I saw a young lady taking the harvest from my mother and helping her to the register. From the young lady attending to our vehicle park needs, to the warm exchange at our exit, good folks operate this establishment, and it shows in how the guests are treated throughout the visit. Oh, and the baked products are amazing! P.S Today a special treat, a lovely singer with a sweet voice and charming acoustic guitar accompaniment. :) Thanks Hoffman Farm Store!

Yelp
We did their Strawberries and Raspberries Upick. If you're a family with kids, this is the perfect place! If you're a couple without kids, who wants to spend some quality time in nature and get out of town for a relaxing day? This, unfortunately isn't the place. My partner Kelly and I were looking forward to the latter, when we walked and walked and walked to get to the field of strawberries only to find barely any to choose from, and then after we find another field we thought we could pick from, shooed away by their farm workers... and then after we're finally excited to find the raspberries, shooed away from the guy manning the kids train that we (and others) weren't allowed to go that way. In short, a BEAUTIFUL farm. But really unorganized and full of parents and kids chattering away when all we wanted was to enjoy some peace and quite in nature. The good? Really amazing tasting raspberries! The bad? Just unorganized and un-relaxing. Oh and make sure you don't put the plastic tray they give you in the wagon. It was basically like a cheese grater to your fruit. Meaning, once we got to the counter, they made the strawberries and the softer, ripe fruit, mush. My suggestion? Carry the container and go during the week (at a time when kids are in school) if you're looking for some getaway time.

Yelp
I am so glad I came here instead of The Pumpkin Patch on Sauvie Island! I arrived early Saturday morning around 10:30AM and it was moderately busy. There was definitely more people when we were leaving around noon. The Hoffman Farm was very organized! They had people directing parking, handing out event flyers, and clear signs for where to wait for rides to the pumpkin patch area and corn maze. My boyfriend and I decided do the corn maze first, which was $3 per person. The corn maze looked small from the outside, but we spent a good hour getting lost in there! Afterwards, we went to the pumpkin patch and there was so many to choose from. Different sizes, textures, and colors. The farm also provided little red wagons to carry all of your pumpkins in. We got a small/medium sized one and it was only $2! Overall, a wonderful first time experience at a pumpkin patch!

Yelp
It's pumpkin season! We decided to visit the pumpkin patch at Hoffman Farm this year. There were plenty of staff around to help guide you through the farm. They were all very friendly and readily answered any questions we had. We were promptly greeted while we walked through the door, and my nephew was given a sticker which he was super excited about. They offer a free barrel ride for all ages. Corn maze and train ride are $5 each. Food is also good, definitely get the apple donuts! Overall, very cute farm.

Yelp
I came at a different time of year. I came looking for a Christmas tree when it was wet and cold. People were nice, parking lot was extra muddy. The store itself was ok. Lots a pre cut Christmas tree to choose from. Wasn't season for anything but Christmas trees, so probably less stuff on the shelves than during a regular summer day. Will have to try it when the fruits and stuff are in season.
