Hands down best cream shop in town! We have been on a search for a good pralines ice cream and it was beyond amazing. A must visit and their chocolate options are epic! A definite must visit! Service was excellent!! Enjoy!!

Hoffman’s Ice Cream is my go-to spot! The variety of flavors and the authentic taste keep me coming back. My absolute favorite is the Red Velvet (when it’s in stock)—hands down the best red velvet ice cream I’ve ever had, with actual pieces of cake mixed in! In my latest visit, I got the Birthday Cake flavor in a chocolate-dipped waffle cone, and it was absolutely delicious—the perfect mix of cake pieces, icing, and creamy goodness. I also love the Coconut flavor! On top of that, the shop always smells amazing, making the whole experience even better. Highly recommend!

Ice cream was great as always. I went today around 2:40 with my mom in celebration of National Ice Cream Day. The staff member there was flat out rude. Didn’t speak back when we said hello to her. Proceeded to put on gloves then lean back on the opposite site of the ice cream case & stare at us. I literally had to ask her “will you be helping us today” it was an awkward & uncomfortable exchange & lacked professionalism. Typically when I go I am met with much better customer service.

Very friendly staff. They greet us with a smile and offered chocolate and ice cream sample. I was undecided between a cup and a cone and he said he could do both giving me a cone on top. High quality chocolatier and ice cream place. The atmosphere is very nice and inviting specially with a good AC in a hot summer afternoon.

Went in for some last minute chocolates for my wife's birthday. Rachel helped me with some great gift ideas. She was so helpful and told me about so many different options. My wife really appreciated the variety that I bought her.

The staff working the Hoffman's Chocolates in plantation are incredibly friendly and professional.... To the point where it stood out. The store has an excellent selection of chocolate, as well as ice cream. I sampled two ice cream flavors then made my decision. The staff serve me immediately and smiled the whole time. It's rare to find staff this friendly and happy.

Decided to stop by for the first time after I had a late lunch. The sales associate was very friendly and showed me what they offer plus that they also had ice cream. After she gave me a sample of the dulce de leche cheesecake ice cream, I was sold.

My family and I just took my mother for ice cream for Mother's Day and the girl at the register allowed my mother to pay for it for 8 people after I explained it to her. Very disappointed. Will not be going back.

Last minute shopping for the right Valentine's Gift and thought Hoffman's was a good choice. The two employees were super helpful and explained a few of their fresh chocolate treats. The employees offered samples of one of their Raspberry Cream Dark Chocolate treats. I immediately took her up on the offer and loved the creamy chocolate delightful hit to my thankful palate and brain. The giant chocolate covered strawberries, pretzels and marshmellows definitely drew my attention. Several items were specifically designed for Valentines Day including the long stem chocolate roses and the pink heart shaped boxes of chocolates. Good assortment of chocolate treats with a strong emphasis on customer service is a strong combo and I will return.

We go to Hoffman's so frequently! I appreciate them carrying a dairy free option that's not just a sorbet. They have cookies and cream! Their chocolate selection is also very big and has a nice variety. Definitely a great chocolate and ice cream place.

Hoffman's Chocolates is a place you definitely want to visit. This place has many options in their sweet shoppe for any sweet tooth from their own chocolate creations to one of the best creamy ice cream choices. Hoffman is a Florida based chocolatier, and they make their own chocolate which is amazing. I love chocolate, but I am very picky on quality, and there is a smoothness to their chocolates that sets it above the rest. I've been here many times and figured it was definitely time to leave them the 5 star review they well deserve. The staff is always very nice and, like many places, allow you to taste test the ice cream flavors. They also make their own mixtures with their own chocolates which are incredible! This time around I went with the classic Mint Chocolate Chip Ice cream, and it was delicious. I've had other ice cream flavors on visits such as pistachio, strawberry, mousse tracks, butterscotch bomb, and stellar coffee. Also all delicious! They used to do cakes, but I'm not sure why that was stopped. I remember ordering one for a birthday many years ago, and it was fantastic. This is a place for the whole family! Highly recommend a visit, but bring a light parka LOL it is soooooooooooooooo cold in there!!! Looking forward to my next visit!

This is the best ice cream I have ever had! My bf and I went once and haven't been going anywhere else, ironically it's next to a frozen yogurt spot but Hoffmann has my heart for sure! The service is always good. Ambiance is cool I guess, I always sit outside :)

Nice store with amazing sweets. While the chocolates maybe a little overpriced, it's a good spot for a special day. The sweets are laid out throughout the place for a great viewing experience. Based on your sweet tooth, the staff can direct you to your need. I recommend you try this place on your special occasion. Just remember it is a little higher priced than other places.

I recently came here because I was dying for dessert right after work so I stopped here with my wife after finding it on Yelp! Parking is decent to find, the place shares a lot with a multitude of other stores. When I walked in, it was empty so I was skeptical, but I was greeted as soon as I opened the door and one of the girls stopped what she was doing and walked to the other bar area where they have the chocolate and icecream and told us let her know when we're ready. Both of us decided to get a scoop of icecream as well as some chocolates to go. I opted for the Caramel macchiato flavor and it was amazing, it had caramel swirls mixed into it and chocolate chunks as well. I would've liked a bit more coffee flavor personally but overall a great combination of flavors. The chocolates were decent, nothing really stood out and for the proce they charge by weight, you would think you were ordering some artisanal chocolate shop. I probably won't get chocolate from them again because of this unfortunately. The place is very nice on the inside with a couple little tables to sit at and a choclate making section where they work as you walk in. You can also by a ton of different pre packaged and pre-selected choclate boxes from the walls for any occasion! A nice icecream place but subpar choclate shop. I'll definitely stop here again for icecream!

Came here on an impromptu ice cream stop, and I'm so glad I did. Instantly, my husband and I were greeted and offered help. They have a wide selection of chocolates and treats. I can't recall the exact name, but I got a brownie fudge chocolate ice cream flavor, and my gosh, it was incredible. My favorite part was encountering some of the brownie bites inside. I got gummy bears as a topping, which just really hit the spot. My husband ordered the caramel macchiato ice cream, which was so creamy. Not overpowering in coffee taste either. After ice cream, we ended up ordering a few chocolate truffles to go. Amaretto, key lime, and a raspberry chocolate. Sweet treat to end our work day! It's nearby, so I know I'll be making another round again soon.

Delicious chocolates and ice cream & they really have a great variety of flavors and gift items; but really overpriced in my opinion! One scoop of ice cream is $5.95! (You can get a whole half gallon for that price at the grocery store.....2 if it's on BOGO!) I had already had dinner and was just looking for a dessert when I was in the Fountains Shopping Center. I stopped in for ice cream and noticed they had a Yelp Check-in offer for "2 free toppings" with an ice cream purchase. I decided to get a scoop of Banana Cream Pie ice cream and showed my Yelp offer to the young man behind the counter. He didn't know anything about it so he asked another young man. He had never heard of it either; and then he asked a female employee. She said yes I get one free topping & I had to show her that it said "2 free topping." I had the hot fudge & almonds. The ice cream scoop became a sundae with the 2 toppings and it was really good; but I don't know if it was worth almost $8 by the time I left a tip. Hoffman's is a yummy little shop for special treats; however you might go broke if you stop here for ice cream really often!

Yummy chocolate sweets! Hoffman's has many locations, this one is located within the Fountain Shops. It's a cute boutique style shop. It's bright clean well stocked and organized. There is plenty of parking but during peek hours it might prove a little challenging. When I come in to this store I'm usually buying gifts for the chocolate lovers in my life. However nine times out of ten I'll get a special treat for myself. An item I can never resist since childhood...the caramel apple with nuts. This is something I will not share with anyone under any circumstances. Sorry not sorry. Hoffman's makes some delicious varieties too.

A fun little ice cream and chocolate shop tucked inside a shopping area. The parking lot was a touch difficult as they are on the main strip and that parking fills up fast. So we had to park in a larger lot area a little walk away. Not a huge deal - get those steps in for more chocolate enjoyment! They are a smaller boutique style store with candy and packaged items to the right and then their cold chocolate case and ice cream to the left. There are a few seats outside if you want to eat before you go. Hubs got some ice cream, I had a marshmallow chocolate stick, which is my fave go to for chocolate fixes. The marshmallow was tasty and hit the sweet tooth just right. Cashier was friendly and helpful. She offered a loyalty card, but we passed as we don't live in the area. Overall: A Fun little sweet shop tucked away in a shopping plaza. Try the chocolate covered marshmallow or ice cream! Parking can be tricky.

OMG!!! TASTY STUFF!!!!! My husband and I were walking around in the Fountain Shopping Center and saw this place so we dropped in to investigate. Glad we did. It was late in the afternoon so getting ice cream was out of the question but since we live locally we wanted to see what was offered for future reference.I am glad we did. I tried the Coffee Chip and was blown away by how flavorful it was! Between the the chocolate swirl and the little chips that look like tiny peanut butter cups but actually have an added coffee flavor I was hooked. We made a return visit a couple of nights later and I truly enjoyed my cup of ice cream. Bonus feature: Ice cream is very much an indulgent treat for me. I must watch my sugar intake so ice cream is a rarity. What really brings a smile to my face is they do offer some sugar free chocolate treats!!!! Next visit, Some of that is coming home with me!

When leaving a business across the street we decided to check out Hoffman's. They have a large assortment of candy and they also sell ice cream. They will also let you sample the ice cream we found a few flavors we liked and went back a couple of evenings later for dessert. A "small" cup came with two large scoops and they will mix the flavors. I ate half the cup and took the rest home to finish another night. I will be back to try some of their other flavors. Yummy yummy!

Over rated ice cream, WAAAAY OVER PRICED for the portion. The staff is very polite and helpful though.

Can i give a review just based on one ice cream flavor!? Let me tell you...this one came as a total surprise to us, i had only tried this ice cream brand just once before, long time ago at the BB&T Center, and it was delicious. We were on the area so we decided to pay them a visit; because of the color it has my daughter wanted the "cotton candy" flavor, my husband had "toasted coconut" and i had a seasonal one that i can't remember the name/ all of them were amazing...but the winner of the day was the "Cotton Candy" ...wow just wow, i ended up eating half of it cause the portions are good! This flavor was amazing...listen i don't care or like most kids ice cream flavors, but this one was amazing!

The staff was really friendly and upbeat. I ended up just buying some different candy bars to try. My favorite one was the milk chocolate. I like how it comes in different sections so if you want to share your chocolate bar, it is easy to do. I love chocolate and my friend raves about this place. I thought the candy was okay. It does taste like high-quality but I like more flavor to my chocolate. It could be that this chocolate is so pure and they take out a lot of the gunk that is in other chocolate? I like all price levels of chocolate so I'm used to eating higher quality chocolate and a dollar candy bar. I just didn't really love the chocolate here. I will give them another try and get some ice cream next time. I've been eating too much ice cream lately so wanted to stay away from that. They did have some interesting flavors so I'm looking forward to coming back.

I scream you scream we all scream for......We came for the ice cream, wanting to try something new and were pleasantly pleased. Place is super cute, clean, neat, bright and organized. We got a Waffle cone with 2 scoops cotton candy & birthday cake for $10.95. Both flavors are Super yummy, we can't wait to come back and try more especially the non dairy coffee flavor they have .

I arrived just as they were closing. The staff remained pleasant and accommodating. No rush to place my order or to taste the flavors. Loved the pistachio ice cream, it was rich and smooth Nice neighborhood option for ice cream; especially, after having dinner at Duffy's. I'll definently return.

Great selection of chocolates and gifts to choose from. Have not tried the ice cream yet! Everything is displayed beautifully and the staff is friendly!

This place is awesome!! Ice cream was extremely tasty and the service was prompt and friendly. Note to owner: Please install a device that would allow your customers to tip your employees on their credit cards. Hardly anyone carries cash anymore and your employee deserve to be tipped. I highly recommend this place !!

I got the small cup and they top it up so much!! In the picture I already ate some of it and there is still so much. The ice cream was really tasty. I think it was around 6.50 but for the amount of ice cream and the flavors they had I think it was worth it. They have so many chocolates (chocolate bark, chocolate apples, chocolate covered strawberries and marshmallows) cookies, and other desserts on top of the ice cream they sell there. When you go into the shop it has the ice cream shop smell and it's an overall nice store. The woman and man who served me and my mom our ice cream seemed bored and a little mad or annoyed but I didn't really mind, I was excited for my ice cream. But the lady at the register was really nice. There are a few chairs in pairs of two(for a couple), so if your going with your family you will probably have to walk and eat or eat it on the benches outside in the plaza.

I have been on a bit of a chocolate kick lately. I am not one for rich, complicated desserts. Give me a plain piece of chocolate or a scoop of ice cream for dessert and I am in heaven. Luckily Hoffman's has both ice cream and chocolate! Located in the Fountains shopping plaza, you might not be able to park right in front, but going to Hoffman's is worth a little walk. The staff couldn't have been nicer when I visited with my boys. They were all smiles as they provided us with samples of ice cream and fudge. There is a nice variety of both and of course, the primary attraction for me.....chocolate! 12 year old (with brand new braces) decided on Watermelon Sorbet. My son absolutely loved it! It was creamy but really cold....perfect for a sore mouth. 13 year old enjoyed his peanut butter fudge and we both adored our chocolates. I tried a couple of peanut butter and caramel chocolates but my absolute favorite was the plain milk chocolate. I have been doing a little chocolate taste test in the area lately and Hoffman's was my favorite. There are many chocolate creations you can buy as gifts. I look forward to shopping there in the future and trying some of the ice cream flavors like Birthday Cake and Butterscotch Bomb!

Best ice cream/sweets place ever! They take COVID precautions. It is very clean inside. The woman who decorates sweets, is sweet herself! She is very polite. I enjoy the Stella Coffee the most, however they didn't have much so I decided with Cappuccino Chip which was not bad at all. My mother got Sunken Treasure. Not to mention they have deals going on throughout Feb. My favorite deal is definitely BOGO Ice Cream!

Felt like I stepped into Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory upon arrival. It smelled like heaven inside. My only con is you cannot buy pieces of chocolate, only by the pound. I would up slip into a diabetic coma if I had to purchase an entire pound of chocolate so I ended up getting one of the items displayed on the wall. A milk chocolate tennis racket and it was so good!

I've been a long time customer of this store for both their gourmet ice cream and chocolates. I had a poor experience and was overwhelmed by the professionalism of the manager Rachel and the company as a whole. They were excellent in communicating with me. Long story short, great company and customer focused service.....plus yummy chocolate and ice cream!

For me this is simply one of our neighborhood ice cream shop. Not "the best one". Always clean store, okay service. As much as I like the convenience of the clean cute local store , the variety presented, my family does not like the taste of Hoffman's chocolate. Neither its prices! The rates are quite quite high. Unreasonably high. You would think that Florida based neighborhood store would be a bit affordable to enjoy. But their rates are high. So no, we don't spend a lot of money here. We would maybe stop for an ice cream every once in a while. I would rather go to Ghirardelli. The largest manufacturer of chocolate in Florida needs to make their rates a little more affordable for Floridians who enjoys Hoffman chocolate.

Loved all the chocolate displays and sampling the icecream flavors. This sweet shop really gives you some type of remedy. The staff was super nice when we walked in and helped us immediately. I really enjoyed the mini chocolates, they have a variety of chocolate pretzels, marshmallows and candy apples. They also have some sweet gummies to buy! The icecream here was very tasteful, I just get the mint chocolate chip because I love the taste of mint. I wish they had the raspberry icecream flavor but apparently they had ran out. I guess I'd have to come back to try it because it'd be worth it. All in all, this little shop has all the cravings all in one. If you're ever in the fountains plaza this is one of the places you should try! You can also walk around or have a seat outside or inside.

First time stopping by for ice cream at this location, and I was lucky enough to have Chris helped me choose a awesome new flavor called Elephant ears that had peanut butter chips and chocolate chips. Chris baked me a fresh new waffle cone and was attended to me and my fiance as if we where regulars at the shop. We will definitely​ be coming back to this location after such a wonderful experience.

After dining at Duffy's we walked over to Hoffman's for dessert. I immediately noticed that Hoffman's was dead and everyone was at Yogurtland (which is right next door). The employees welcomed us with a friendly greeting. Since all of us were new to Hoffman's, the employees allowed us to try multiple samples of their ice cream. I sampled about 3 of their flavors & decided that cookies & cream was for me. The others in the party decided that raspberry truffle was for them. I really enjoyed their ice cream & so did the rest of the party. After checking out their chocolates, I decided to get 2 milk chocolate covered Oreo's & 1 piece of Oreo bark to go. The chocolate was delicious! Whenever I'm in the mood for ice cream or chocolates, I always head to Kilwin's. But now that Hoffman's is opened, Hoffman's it will be!

Their candy apples are the best. With this COVID-19 changing things, they have it to where one can preorder and be in and out but they certainly don't rush you if you go in to look. Heed my advice, and do not go in there hungry, you will find yourself wanting a little of everything, and spending more than you possibly imagined. This place will not disappoint as far as flavor, texture, and quality of any of the candies that one may buy. It is definitely high end chocolate and dare I say, better than a national chain that sells within the malls.

Mmm mmm mmm!! Deeelish! Came in last minute for a quick night cap. Got into good conversation about football, ice cream flavors and Rick and Morty. Super cool staff- had a lot of patience because my boyfriend likes to try every flavor lol. Ice cream was really flavorful, thick and tasted homemade. I had the Praline (HIGHLY suggested) and my boyfriend had the Rum Raisin. Cute little spot in a nice area, highly recommended.

Checked out this heavenly chocolate shop. Friendly and helpful staff offers tasting of different samples, so much to choose from. Store is so clean and presents nicely. Tons of options to get as gifts for any chocolate lover!

I tend to go to this shop around twice a year. Once for my free birthday ice cream and another if I'm just in the area. Every time I go the ice cream is always delicious and smooth. They have a lot of interesting flavors of ice cream! The last time I went I got cookies and cream, a classic, with gummy bears and mini M&Ms. It was so good! The only downside is that it tends to be a bit pricy, but if you are an avid ice cream lover, such as myself, you'll soon see it is definitely worth a try!

Nice store and display. My daughter recently had her braces removed and wanted a caramel apple reward. This was a good spot to get it.

Friendly service, deliscious sweet treats, located in the fountains plaza in plantation. Their ice cream is also deliscious. They have a wide range of flavors and it's all prices reasonably.

I went here for the first time & I was overwhelmed by all the chocolate love! They have lots of things to chose from & they gave caramel apples. The only thing I wish they had, is chocolate covered strawberries. They were kinda expensive, but I would go back again & again.

What kind of ice cream place doesn't have cookie dough ice cream? Or even chocolate chip ice cream? Embarrassment to the ice cream community. My mom liked her plain chocolate ice cream. The girl behind the counter was nice.

So far so good. I've tried a few different sweets here, but the caramel apple is by far my favorite. I also love the tangerine and key lime chocolates. Oh and the ice cream is really good too! The staff is great and let you try samples of certain items... like the ice cream. They are in the fountains right next to lime so it's convenient for dessert. But dear Hoffman, I have a request. Would you consider adding more fudge flavors for us junkies? Namely, chocolate chip cookie dough and rocky road. Had them up north somewhere and I've been missing it ever since. Just a thought.

Not only is the ice cream at Hoffmans spot on in its flavors and consistency, the employees are what really make this ice cream joint the best to all its competitors, Josie at this particular location will immediately make you feel like family and she even remembered my wife and I I couldn't ask for better customer service. (As for flavors the red velvet taste like it came straight out of a French bakery, chocolate fudge is a decadent treat for all those chocolate lovers out there with soft brownies, and don't forget to try the infamous Hoff track with its peanut butters cups and ribbons of chocolate all mixed in a creamy vanilla ice cream) you will not be disappointed my friends.

Great milkshake, just wish it was a bit thicker. They didn't have the flavor I wanted but they were able to make it by adding topping which they charged me for. Personally, since they didn't have the flavor I wanted, I don't think I should have to pay for the toppings. Cookies and creme is definitely a regular menu item so that's why I feel this way. Spent $10 for one regular size milkshake. Don't think I'll be back but it was good. Just overpriced for my budget.

By far my FAVORITE ice cream! This location is award winning. The store is always spotless & the staff is second to none. The entire team is professional, extremely friendly & eager to help. Most importantly, they are consistent. A+

This is our usual post dinner spot. So many options to choose from but we always go for the caramel apple with almonds. It's heavenly. The staff is very friendly and will let you sample most of the items they sell. Whether you're in the mood for ice cream, coffee, shakes, fudge, chocolate goodies, or caramel apples, this is the spot for you.

As soon as you enter the sweet smell of vanilla and sugar hits you. The caramel /chocolate covered apples great you in the window, looked so yummy. We went for ice cream. I love it when they let you sample the flavors first. Hubby went with rum raisin, I selected a mixed flavor of brownie pieces, chocolate covered peanut butter pieces, and fudge, so good and creamy. I hate when the ice cream tastes frozen and this tasted really creamy and fresh. If you like chocolate they have a huge selection of candies,cookies,fudge,truffles and more I just can't name it all. They have a few tables inside around three and some more outside. It's not cheap ice cream, but it's good.

I wanted something sweet and my friends and I were in the neighborhood. BUT we were a bit stunned by the prices. The chocolates looked but none of us purchased anything because we felt that this was not Madison Avenue and the prices felt like that.

Great chocolates! The raspberry cream truffles are a must. They also have gift boxes and ice cream. A great place for families, dates, or to treat your sweet tooth!

lol after speaking with the lady who works there we immediately had to walk out. i was looking up chocolate like bakeries and decided to pick this one since the photos looked so appealing. i was looking to get some "frozen hot chocolate" and the woman looked at me like i spoke gibberish. i then nicely explained how it's just a frozen form of chocolate companies do for the holidays... like a frozen chocolate drink.... anyway i then ask her if they have frozen drink.. she said no. the. i saw an empty plastic cup next to the cones so i asked "is that for milkshakes?" she goes "yes but they are not frozen drink. they are milkshakes. it's mixed with milk. not frozen." that was my face. not to mention she said it in a rude condescending tone. so we walked out... cause w t f. i get better customer service at 711

I love stopping in when I'm in the Fountains. The employees are always friendly and offer samples of ice cream and chocolates try if you arent sure. My favorite go to pieces are the dark chocolate maple creams, and the dark tangerine cream. Last night we tried the dark chocolate meltaway and it was also so delicious! The dark chocolate almond bark is also delicious as is their ice cream. We ordered a cappuccino last night and it was definitely not a cappuccino..more like a huge latte but coffee is not their specialty and I didn't go in for the coffee so I will not hold that against them even though it went right in the trash. What I love about this place is the chocolate is boxed in a cute little package and bag which makes it feel special, as opposed to just thrown in a white bag as other places do. Definitely check it out if in you're in the area!
