Hoffman's Ice Cream

Excellent location, staff, and selection! Their interior is very welcoming and the staff is super kind. There were a lot of flavors to choose from as well as sundaes and milkshakes, but I opted for hard ice cream. I had to get my favorite flavor, coffee oreo, and it did not disappoint. Will definitely go back here before the summer ends!

Great hometown ice cream shop. Many flavors that are really tasty. Staff was fabulous 👌 and very happy. Spacious area, so you don't feel crowded when they get busy. Nice outdoor eating areas too. Ate it too fast to take a photo 📸, lol.

We were visiting on the Jersey Shore and friends suggested we visit Hoffman’s Ice Cream shop in Point Pleasant. I had read that once upon a time it had been one of the original Carvel stores but many years ago the owners decided to give up that franchise and focus on making their own ice cream. We were impressed with their flavors as well as their reasonable prices, especially for ice cream cakes! We purchased 2 pints: coffee Oreo and chocolate chip and both were delicious!

Very good creamy ice cream. Many flavors to choose from. We had waffle cones with our favorite flavors. The only negative is very expensive 2 waffle cones were $18. 😒

Classic ice cream spot in Point been coming here since I was a kid it's the best of the best. Some parking in the lot but be prepared to park on a side street and walk over in the summer. Grab a number to order (thank God they went with this the old line system was a nightmare). Tons of flavors and toppings I'm partial to the s'mores and brownie ala mode, but they have something for everyone. Staff is super friendly definitely my go-to ice cream spot in the area

When you come in the restaurant it is very clean service is great they don't complain they are not rude and I ordered a small cup with Oreo half chocolate explosion chocolate sprinkles and gummy bears with hot fudge and they gave me a large. Cup overload so it's very good so make sure you go

I only gave 2 stars for the kind young man that actually treated us with decency. DO NOT GO HERE if you are a minority...you will be skipped for the lighter skinned folk, ignored and then treated like animals when your 3 year old has to use the bathroom...not to mention the ice cream is nothing what it used to be. I watched the disgust form on the girls face as the kind young man asked her to let us use the bathroom. Only after that nice young man pointed out the fact "she's just a kid" and might have threatened his occupation at this horrid establishment and disregarded her inhumane treatment were we able to use the bathroom. What a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT. Seems this place is stuck in the era of segregation and racism at its worst. Hoffman's should be shut down immediately.

I got the strawberry lemonade and peanut butter and both flavors were rich and delicious. Plus I paid about $5 for two generous scoops. Will definitely be back!
