Our group tried a lot of items, most of which I'd order again... including the mi quang (that has an assertive turmeric flavor that I liked), the baby clams, the deluxe egg plate with bread, Vietnamese sandwich, and banh beo (rice cups). A couple of items I'd skip next time: Cao Lau (which is a specialty dish, unfortunately), and snails in egg yolk. Decor was excellent. Service was good. Pricing was reasonable.

Central Vietnam food is not popular on North America. It's hard to find one and harder to find a good one. This place is one of the very few places in town that serves Central Vietnam cuisine. The food is authentic, has lots of varieties, and is delicious. However service can be very slow.

Been here a couple of times. Beautifully decorated, really reminded me of my time in Hoi An. Good ambience and noise level. Ok service. Good beverage options, especially love nuoc mot and the sugarcane drink. Most of the dishes I tried were acceptable. The dishes have the correct ingredients and are well represented. I would **reluctantly** recommend hen xuc banh trang and cao lau to people that have never had authentic Hoi An food. They also have p decent satay sauce. Unfortunately, the seasoning was always meh and really inconsistent (either too sweet or too salty). Goi ca chien gion, my quang and so nuong pho mai are definitely a no for me. Good as an experience but not gonna be my togo place.

Gorgeous and spacious dining spot. I love every moment I stepped foot into this restaurant. The restaurant brought me back to the time I was still in Vietnam and the taste is divine. Highly recommended for anyone who would like a cozy place to eat and get an authentic feel of Phố Cổ Hội An (it's missing "the bridge" though) Thank you Hoi An Quan staff for the experience! (Check out their bathroom, too, surprisingly clean)

Great decoration restaurant, food not really authentic but good tastes and enough to smooth the original craving. I ordered hoi a chicken rice, steam rice cake Banh Beo, their signature noodle Cao Lau, hen xao. Staffs are nice. Overall, it is a place to try if you want something different

I was there with my family last night. This is the first time my brother know about Hoi An and traditional mid Vietnam food. We really love it. Highly recommend MOT TEA to refresh your palate between dishes. Excellent service. Servers also wear Ba Ba 👍 Try Pan Fried Egg, excellent dish.

The flavors on the borderline edible. The sauce for the vermicelli was made with pork fat with barely any taste to it. It was hard to finish the dish with the super rich fatty pork sauce. Mi quang was okay with a good crunch from the toasted rice paper.

My husband and I had a dinner date tonight and we decided to try out this new restaurant that everyone has been talking about since its grand opening. First of all, the decoration is beyond and above. I love every corner of it. Now comes the food. We ordered: 1. Banh Dap: a layer of rice pancake is sandwiched between crunchy and thin cracker layers. It comes with a savory sauce, kind of similar to nuoc mam with some small pieces of pork rind. Normally, it is served with mam nem, but I'm fine with the sauce that they serve. I love banh dap, but I could not find it anywhere here in Houston. Now I know where to go when I crave. 2. Cao Lau: good portion, great to taste. Similar to banh dap, no where sells this type of dish. It's pretty decent here at Hoi An Quan. 3. Banh Beo: banh beo itself is ok, but the fish sauce that comes with it is nothing special, if I don't want to say it's kind of bland. 4. Com Ga Hoi An (Chicken and Rice): this is a good dish. The broiled chicken is not dry. The rice is a bit dry, but the broth is great. The side of chicken salad is also good. I have to talk about the fish sauce that comes with it. The consistency is thick. It's savory and a bit sweet which goes very well with the boiled chicken and the gizzards. Overall, we had a good experience here. Beautiful decor, good food, and decent service.
