"Exiting the lift onto the sixth-floor restaurant with a charming lotus pond and iconic lanterns feels like entering the ancient town of Hoi An. The Huế-style rolls with pork and pickled shrimp feature fresh vegetables, a hint of purple sweet potato and a tangy vinegar sauce. Another standout is the grilled sea bass wrapped in pork belly with lemongrass, complemented by pickled radish and shiso leaves. Private dining areas, separated by traditional screens, are available." - Michelin Inspector

Had a wonderful evening at Hoi An Sense. The restaurant offers a truly memorable dining experience that blends culture, tradition, and fine Vietnamese cuisine. The restaurant’s ambience is breathtaking, wooden interiors, soft lantern lights, and live traditional performances that bring the charm of Hoi An to life. Every dish was beautifully presented and full of authentic flavour; the crab rice, spring rolls, and steamed fish stood out in particular. The service team was attentive and genuinely warm, making the evening feel personal and relaxed. A perfect choice for anyone seeking refined Vietnamese dining in Ho Chi Minh City. Highly recommended for both locals and visitors alike.

We had dinner at Michelin-starred Hoi An Sense when we were in Vietnam. Vibes and ambiance were really good but I feel like the food’s just okay? Like I wasn’t particularly wow-ed or didn’t find them to be exceptionally delicious or different? It was still a good meal overall. We went with set menu 1 and had the following: - Seafood Spring Rolls - Young Papaya Salad with Caramelised Shrimps - Fried Soft-Shell Crab with Salted Kumquat Sauce - Grilled Chicken in Pandan Leaf - Stir-Fried Vietnamese Spinach with Garlic - Green Fried Rice with Salted Fish Floss - Caramel Flan with Coffee

Very authentic but not my taste. Food present are very beautiful but the taste too mild or light to me. The ambience with relax, you can enjoy the vietnam transitional musical.

Overall disappointed. The food was good but a slow inconsistent service that ruined the whole experience. Our table was a group of 5 including 2 children. The dishes sent out were slow and even took a while between each dish. It turned out I finished the 3 dishes I ordered before the children had even received their plate of stir-fried noodles. I complained about this saying most of the table have not had their main courses yet. They said the kitchen was busy but it was a Wednesday and the restaurant appeared to have several tables vacant. It did leave us feeling disappointed as it was meant to be a birthday celebration. For 4.7m VND (£145) it was not worth it and would not recommend it after this experience

Food is very fresh and delicious. All of menus are traditional Vietnamese foods. The view is very beautiful, we can take many great photos here. The restaurant is suitable for foreigner to touch Vietnamese culture. There is a band to play the traditional music. Let’s come to try.
