Very friendly and knowable staff. Sushi is great. The ramen was good, but I'm used to tonkatsu both. The soy broth is good and has a deep vegetable flavor. It's a little pricey, but good food. I really liked the atmosphere.

Absolutely disgusting. I ordered the super crunch roll and it tasted like fish food. The inside of the sushi was greasy with an unpleaseant color. Definitely not the super crunch roll you’re used to getting anywhere else. The masago should be orange and the tempura flakes shouldn’t taste remotely close to food I would feed to a fish in a tank.

Don’t let the nondescript faded sign in the strip mall fool you—this place is an absolute gem! We’ve made it our go-to sushi spot because the fish is always incredibly fresh, the service is fast and friendly, and the quality never disappoints. The atmosphere inside is simple but clean and pleasant—nothing fancy, just really solid food in a relaxed setting. We highly recommend the Caribbean roll and the spicy tuna roll—so fresh and flavorful every single time. If you’re a sushi lover in Atlanta, do yourself a favor and give this place a try. You won’t be disappointed!

Absolutely delightful. Decided to have lunch here. The place is so light and airy. The sushi isn't fussy and satisfying. We ordered a few rolls and shared.

Amazing! Highly recommend the sushi and the plum wine. It was very busy on a Saturday night, so I do recommend reservations or flexibility to sit at the sushi bar (only room for 5 total or so). Planning ahead will help, and it's totally worth it. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful despite being busy. It rivals any sushi place I've been and will be going back!

So, this is a remarkable place. I used to think I knew about sushi. But I've discovered the Truth. Hoki holds the Truth. Truth is contained in freshness, sushi grade fish, understatement, elegance, and culture. Hoki gets high marks in these measures. The gentleman sitting next to me recommended the Live Scallop. It was an “other-world” experience. Existential questions entreated my mind as my pallet was titillated with a combination of fresh and tender scallop, fried mussel, slivers of lime, and shredded radish. Where am l? What good thing have I done? How am I blessed with such a moment? Who is John Galt?!? The Hoki Dragon roll was no less remarkable; balanced, gentle, memorable. I imagined myself Robert Persig, riding in a world of my own upon a metaphorical motorcycle, exploring the deep and textured meanings of the word "Quality". The pictures of Hoki on Google maps don't do justice to the warm nostalgic ambiance accompanied by the sublime melodic keyboard of Paul Cardall. I will return some day in the company of my teenage daughter as she deserves to experience Truth at least once in her life. "Surely", I've concluded, “John Galt was here”.

Pink Lady Roll: 10/10 Miso Soup: 10/10 A small sushi place with a handful of tables and bar seating. It's on the nicer side, not overly casual with some pricer sushi. (worth it imo ) I always start my sushi with Miso Soup!! I ordered the pink lady roll and omg, so so good. It was wrapped with soy paper and that was the perfect touch. It kept the sushi light and refreshing. I loved this roll & still dream about it I contemplated ordering a second one, it was so good. Will definitely be back sometime when I visit atlanta again!!

Small sushi restaurant in a strip mall. It's well hidden, blink and you'll miss it. I had the sushi special, which is 8 nigiri and a spicy tuna roll. It was middle of the road and each piece was pretty small. For $39 I guess I expected more. Good enough in a pinch.

I recently placed a to-go lunch order at your restaurant and wanted to share some feedback about my experience. I attempted to call around 12:20 PM to place the order but was unable to reach anyone despite trying multiple times. As a result, I had to come in and wait for the order to be prepared. Additionally, I noticed that the lunch menu, which typically includes both soup and salad, now only comes with soup. Since I'm not a fan of soup, I requested to substitute it with a salad but was informed that this was not possible. I found this lack of flexibility disappointing, especially since a part of the usual offering was removed. I understand that policies are in place, but accommodating small customer requests--like a substitution in this case--can go a long way in enhancing the overall dining experience. I truly enjoy your food and hope you'll consider this feedback to provide a more customer-friendly experience in the future.

Do not let the strip mall appearance fool you, Hoki is the perfect neighborhood sushi restaurant. Having eaten there several times a month for the last 2 years, it never fails to deliver even when you need it to be a completely casual evening. The regular menu is solid, but the freshest items from the "white board," are where the best and freshest fish is offered. Do not miss the waygu nigiri and the hamachi truffle!

Very authentic and fresh sushi prepared by a trained chef. I sat at the bar and opted for the sashimi dinner which came with the traditional soup and salad. The sashimi was perfectly sliced and the portions were large enough that it was a filling dinner. I had asked for Uni sushi but they did not have this despite being on the menu so I ended up ordering Ikura instead which was also very good. Service was very friendly and the prices, while higher than other places I have dined at, were worth it for the quality.

Ummmm, Why are all of you all saying how bad this food is?? The service was so fast on Christmas, Adam. My food has been good every time I go there. t is a lovely place. He mood is very chill, and it looks nice inside. So when one of you said it was awful. umm no, I love this place. I know all the workers; they see what we get EVERY time.

The waitress ask if we want rice instead of bring the rice with the Bento box. This is not a Japenese own Japenese restaurant. Will never come back.

We had dinner here tonight. I made reservations beforehand but I don't think it even mattered. They didn't ask. Parking in ample in the shopping center lot. It'a decently popular. We tried the hot sake. It was refreshing and warming. Our waitress was very attentive and the service was excellent. The wait tone on our food was long at all. I ordered the veggie tempura for my entree. It came with salad and miso soup. The beef was delicious and tender. I love how it comes sliced. I had it well-done. I would've loved more rice and the portion size was small. I'd dine here again. It's small, cozy, and intimate.

This was a horrible experience simply because of the service. First, as I was ordering the server Kyoko said "that's a lot of food" as if I didn't understand what I was ordering. I ordered two rolls and an entree. The comment was the first of many rude and inappropriate comments. My entree was brought out before the rolls. When I asked for the rolls first she replied, "at Japanese restaurants we bring all the food at one time." I replied that I've frequented many and this was the first time I'd heard of such. Her response, " they aren't Japanese. I'm Japanese. I know. Go check with them." This is no exaggeration. I stopped her and told her that was completely rude. She said it was busy so that's why she was rude. Finally, she brought out the same plates of salmon and chicken and the food was cold. When we asked for warm food she walked off and complained to her manager and made comments about us being cheap. I then asked for the check sans the entrees. I paid and as I was leaving this review she came back to the table to say that her daughter is half black and that she doesn't have a problem with black people. I then asked her to stop. The manager comes to remove plates and we talk to her and give her the details of our experience. Her response is " I'm sorry that happened I'll tell my boss. I won't be back.

I had an incredible dining experience at this restaurant. The service was exceptional, and the food was delectable. The atmosphere was also clean and comfortable, which added to my overall enjoyment. I look forward to revisiting.

The Food is amazing and for the area it's a high in sushi ! All the staff is super nice. And it's super clean and cute inside. Definitely go and visit this is my 2nd visit and this will be my go to !

Really delicious sushi spot! Fish was fresh and well prepared. The toro is worth it. The wagyu was good and very fatty but not worth the money. The green tea tiramisu was good as well. The takoyaki was good but a little burnt on the outside. Overall HOKI is a good restaurant for a higher end sushi experience compared to a casual one. The service and cleanliness however is a bit lacking for the prices, but the food quality is good.

The service and people who run the restaurant are completely lovely and we regularly visit here. The food is always fantastic and they almost always have open space.

Went for dinner while in town on business. While I gave it a 4 star, it's really more like a 3.5 star. The staff was friendly and the food was good and fresh but there wasn't any "wow" factor about anything I had. I had agedashi tofu which had a nice chewy skin and soft interior but the tofu was bland and the dipping sauce also bland. The chirashi had fresh fish but the rice was too lightly seasoned, and the arrangement was average. Lastly, the hamachi kama was fresh and nicely broiled but there was too much seasoning on it and the dipping sauce tasted more like a soy sauce than a ponzu sauce.

Not sure what happened to this restaurant but things have changed and unfortunately, for the worst.. I haven't been in a while and decided to revisit when sushi craving attacked. First off, they dramatically downsized the portions while increasing the prices. 2 pieces of SASHIMI scallop and scallop are $7 each. Usually with sashimi you get 3 pieces. Angel roll which I normally get only had a tiny amount of black tobiko on top. Second, I ordered ikura with brown rice. It came over white rice and when I mentioned it to the waitress, she told me the sushi chef told her it was brown rice. Um.. I'm looking at it and it's definitely WHITE, dramatically so next to my brown rice roll. She walked away and came back with 2 brown rice balls. Seriously? It's like going to an italian place and they bring you the ingredients separately for you to put together yourself. I felt offended. No way would I go back again. So disappointing since there aren't many places in the area serving brown rice rolls. Back to Orient Express for me. They just lost a loyal customer.

Bad Bad experience! The food we ordered, supposed to be warm but it was ice cold. Because our food was sitting on the sushi counter for at least 20 min and they serve to us after we asked if that was our food. I understand that they were busy. But i think that was just uncalled for. The whole experience was non existent, they treated us as if we were ghost.

The service has dropped tremendously here since my last visit. The resturant was half empty when we walked in to the dining room and it still took 50 mins to get the first food to the table. For what they charge, this is inexcusable. The place seems to be much more "To Go" oriented and maybe takeout would have been a better experience. I used to love this place, so I was incredibly disappointed in the experience. It feels like they have changed ownership or something. The Orient Express is just a mile or so down the road and is a significantly better value proposition. Hope your experience will be better than mine. Cheers!

Hoki Japanese Restaurant is unique in the fact that it very closely resembles an authentic Japanese restaurant that you would find in Tokyo or Kyoto. Having just spent two weeks in Japan last month, I can say for certain that the level of service, quality of fish, and prices all reflect what you would expect to find in Japan, all very high. The ambiance is quiet and romantic with a limited number of seats. The service is very attentive - they provide a hot towel upon seating and are quick to refill drinks and bring the food. If you are by yourself or with a friend, I recommend to sit at the sushi bar to get a view of the sushi chefs cutting up the fish and crafting the rolls. They have a wide selection of different rolls, sashimi, nigiri, and more. I would recommend to get hot green tea, try some sake if you drink alcohol (it's very good here) and order a speciality roll and an assortment of sashimi (yellowtail, tuna, and salmon are all good options). This will provide you with a very enjoyable experience and give you a good idea of what dining in Japan is like. Overall, the restaurant quality and service is worth 5 stars, but the prices are high, even higher than what you would find in Japan, therefore ultimately I settled on giving the restaurant 4 stars. If you are OK with spending the money and love the Japanese dining experience and food, then this place is definitely worth it. If you are looking for a budget-friendly sushi restaurant and are willing to sacrifice a bit of service and quality, then there are many other options in the area.

Nice little spot. Not very big inside, but well appointed. Very fast and efficient service. Large menu and they also had a dry erase board up with a list of their freshest fish. My sushi test, if you will, is always a plain tuna roll (I want to see the quality of the fish). I wasn't a fan of their tuna - hence my 1 Star deduction. However, I quite liked the recommended Angel Fish Roll (supposedly the most popular) and the Tropical Roll. I'd come here again.

Anyone who gives this place less then 5 stars doesn't know a thing about sushi. The seafood is so so fresh and the rolls are delicious. Try the lobster roll and the crispy spicy tuna and your in for a treat. People that don't see this as a hidden gem probably want some fancy sheik atmosphere which this place is not, it is in a shopping center and it's not a fancy Umi like setting. I will say that it is probably the best sushi in Atlanta.

Stopped by on December 28, 2019 Saturday evening around 6:30pm. I sat at a table and already new what I wanted to try, since I'm a die hard fan of Chirashi Don Bowl. True Traditional arrangements of fresh fish in a large ceramic bowl garnished with 2 thin slices of fresh radish, yellow pickled radish, shredded daikon, fancy cut of cooked egg, and a good amount thick cuts of seafood that tasted soooo fresh, accompanied with mixed green salad (not ice berg lettuce) with a semi-sweet delicious light sesame flavor dressing, followed with Hot Miso Soup w/ all the Traditional garnish modest amount of seaweed and small cuts of tofu..delicious ! Yes...I will be back....! Small place good thing I got there when I did by the time I was writing out my check the place was starting to fill up. Located in a tight parking area of other businesses and restaurants very busy lots of traffic. I like that tells me people are eating and buying with 4 other restaurant almost next door to each other foods should be fresh and tasty. And a Kroger's Market next door, ha ! Stopped by again Jan.14, 2020 Ordered their Japanese Noodle choice of two Miso or Shoyu Ramen I choose the "Miso Ramen" sorry to discover this soup I thought would be mild like their regular Miso Soup? It was a very strong over powering broth that did not make my taste buds dance with joy....however the "Bento Sushi & Sashimi" was presented well and tasted great. Perhaps when I return I will try Soba or the Udon Noodle Soup?

Nice Japanese restaurant, with good variety and quality. We had a sushi/sashimi combo, and it was more than enough for 2. It comes with 1 soup and 1 salad. Fish was fresh and well cut. Would recommend to anyone in the area.

This is a great place for special occasions of any kind! Wonderful personal service and such a great sushi selection! We did Omakase which gave us a great variety and lots of great tasty surprises! The sake selection is awesome!

Way overpriced for less than average, small sushi. And we ordered 4 rolls at $19/each, should be $10 and received no wasabi or ginger which we love and would have helped. Do not order sushi from here.

The sushi is very fresh. 10/10 recommend. Handcrafted and very well plated. The shrimp tempura and tropical roll were great. Also tried the volcano roll and Jeanne roll.

We had the sashimi and it was some of the best I've ever had. It was very fresh. My wife got the shrimp tempura and really liked that one too. It's a nice little restaurant with very attentive service. Highly recommend!

This place is next to my apartment so I thought I'd give it a try. I was craving sashimi and nigiri today but didn't wanna drive too far. I ordered to go and I got the sashimi and sushi platter and Snow White roll. The platter came with 12 sashimi, 7 nigiri and spicy tuna maki. What I liked: Spicy tuna maki was unexpectedly good! The flavor was great. The Snow White roll was refreshing and well executed. It didn't have any strong flavors but all balanced well. The sea bass, avocado, and a little jalapeño and siracha sauce created an enticing taste. The roll was small though. What I didn't like: The sashimi was just average in terms of freshness and cut. All of the sashimi in my order were cut into very thin pieces.. thinner than other restaurants at similar price point. I mean... it was just very very THIN. I've ordered sashimi to go at other places and were much thicker than what they're offering here. The sashimi photos on yelp appear to be thicker cuts but if you order to go is another story. Same goes with the nigiris. In terms of freshness, it was okay. Again, pretty average compare to other places with similar price.

Third sushi restaurant I've been to in the area. Presents itself as a high end sushi bistro but it is lacking in several ways. The pricing is high so you expect stellar service and food quality. I ordered sashimi but was served sushi. The chef was irritated and then delivered the order in less than expected quality. Before I was even finished with my first order the waitress brought the bill. I asked the chef to heat the unagi that as served cold but he refused. Not sure of courses if they are always this inept but clearly not worth the price. Take your money elsewhere. Maybe ch better quality and service over in Buckhead .

I went here for dinner on a Saturday night around 8:30pm and it wasn't packed but pretty full. The service was attentive and our server was really nice. Once you're seated, they bring you hot lavender towels so that was a nice touch. Food: Started with the squid salad - small portion but not bad. Then I had the Ruby Red roll - spicy tuna, asparagus, tempura flakes topped with seared tuna - it was great! Atmosphere: Cozy and intimate. Place is not very big but they take reservations.

Me and my friend actually found this place through yelp. I saw they were 4 1/2 stars and we agreed to give it a go. The location isn't grey but that's no fault to the business. It's located in a little valley next to a Kroger. The parking was ungodly but not terrible. The place itself was very beautiful actually. Not to many people, nice music, and beautiful arrangement of chairs. I was wondering why yelp said to call for reservations, it's because I'm sure at night they are packed because the seating was very limited. So take heed and call. The menu was a little bland, but the beautiful waitress was very helpful in answering any questions we had and making suggestions to what we preferred. I got the makilo dinner. Comes with 2 6 rolls of your choice of sushi, soup and salad. I also got an order of sushi rice. The sushi rice was OMG amazing: it wasn't hit regular rice which is what I thought it was, just with a different name, they actually infuse the seaweed with the rice. No grain was left! The sushi (which I'm always a skeptic about) was delicious! My date and I both agreed that out of the majority of sushi places we have enjoyed, this ranked in the top 3. Even the salad was amazing! They use some type of orange citrus dressing that I would but by the bottle if they had it. Originally I didn't think it was going to be enough but it was 100% filling. If you are in the area and looking for some good sushi, do it! Oh and 21+ lol the lady didn't even ID me. The hot saki was just what I needed. The price in total was very well! $37.90 for two complete meals. Don't be a stranger here! I even got a business card and showed it to this girl at Victoria's Secret. !!!

Hoki Japanese Restaurant opened in April 2012 and took the place of Tomo, which moved to Buckhead. The restaurant is located in the Kroger shopping center at the corner of Cobb Parkway and Paces Mill Rd. Hoki is very similar to what Tomo used to be, both in its menu and its design. At first glance, it doesn't look like anything has changed and for the most part, it hasn't. Just a new name and a new owner/chef. It's still a decent spot to get authentic Japanese cuisine near Vinings. The restaurant isn't very big, but it doesn't need to be. The look is clean, simple, and modern. An L-shaped sushi bar is located in the back with small tables in the middle surrounded by cushioned wall seating. The space is naturally well lit from the outside. I was an occasional lunch customer at Tomo and probably will be for Hoki. The lunch menu consists of appetizers such as edamame (steamed soybeans), gyoza (steamed dumplings), and seaweed salad, bento boxes with various teriyaki and tempura meats, sushi (rolls, nigiri, and sashimi), and noodles such as udon, soba, and ramen. Apps run up to $6 each, bento boxes up to $12, sushi entrees up to $17, rolls generally up to $10, and all noodles are $9 each. Sushi-wise, there are over two dozen types of sushi to choose from including chutoro (medium fatty tuna), kampachi (Almaco jack), uni (sea urchin), and toro (super fatty tuna). Two pieces of nigiri (fish over rice) or sashimi (slice of fish only) mostly run about $7-8 per order with the more expensive pieces at $10+. It's a nice little Japanese menu for lunch. One welcome touch Hoki adds which exceeds that of most other Atlanta Japanese restaurants is in its plating. The presentation is quite elegant. Check out some of my photos to see what I'm talking about. Flawless white china, glass plates with interweaving design, etc. It adds to the dining experience. The sushi I've had is fresh and delicious. I recommend the scallop and toro (either toro). One type of sushi that is available, but not on the menu is the spicy scallop. Instead of a slice of scallop meat over rice (nigiri-style), the spicy scallop is chopped and mixed with a spicy sauce, then placed over rice and wrapped in dried seaweed. It's very good if you like sushi with spicy sauce -- not overly saucy, though. Also, even the "cheaper" fish, like salmon and tuna, look incredibly rich and smooth. The bento boxes are a popular choice because they're both a good value and offer a fine variety of food: miso soup, salad with ginger dressing, shumai (pork dumplings), bowl of white rice, California roll, teriyaki and/or tempura, and more. I have tried the miso ramen and it comes in a somewhat deceivingly small bowl. The miso ramen doesn't come with any meat except for shrimp tempura and imitation crab. Other ingredients include half a boiled egg, seaweed, chopped scallions, and a side of yellow pickled daikon radish. The ramen noodles themselves are yellow and actually resemble Top Ramen noodles (not to be insulting, but they do). Generally, the miso ramen is OK, not bad at all, but I can think of better places in metro Atlanta to get ramen: Umaido, Yakitori Jinbei, and Raku. The entire staff and the sushi chefs provide impeccable service. They are friendly, polite, and attentive.

Going into HOKI I was expecting another strip mall, utility sushi place: unoffending but forgettable. But a few servings of otoro nigiri and some black cod miso later and I realized this place is playing by a better set of rules. The attention to detail was there: the "good" rice, the proper temperature control of both rice and fish, never veering into chilly territory. Also they have expanded choices for nigiri and sashimi including some live scallop, live urchin, and squid. Definitely worth a visit and given that it's quite a cozy place, it makes for a perfect date night destination.

This excellent Japanese restaurant has outstanding hot and raw food. High-quality fish makes a big difference, so I welcome places that serve the best available. I moved about a mile away, so this is one stays on the list. The Pink Lady roll is terrific, try it. Just order it when you sit down. It has tuna and crunchy and I think avocado. It uses the soy wrapper so it is incredibly tender. I also liked the popcorn okra, a tempura dish that does justice to this local favorite. I've also tried the teriyaki salmon, assorted nigiri, and the tuna tataki. All were great so I look forward to exploring the menu. The atmosphere is warm, a bit dark compared to other sushi restaurants, and that makes it nice for cozy and quiet dinner conversation. Service here is friendly and helpful, it's a small place and I find them attentive and accurate. One negative is the fragrance on the hot towels they provide. I have to go wash my hands if I use them because the smell competes with the taste of the food. If you are sensitive to smells, you should not accept the offer of hot towels.

Excellent! We found another very good sushi place to check out when we're in the Cumberland area. We came at about 6pm on a Saturday night, and it was crowded, but not packed. No issue getting a table, and our order came out fairly quickly after we ordered. The sushi itself was some of the best sushi we've had so far in Atlanta. The rice had a nice chewy and fresh flavor to it, and the fish seemed fresh and flavorful as well. Our favorite roll was the Snow White, followed by the Super EBI, the spicy tuna, and the Alaska. The service was friendly and fast, and we will be back next time we're in the area!

This is the worst place to eat. I was visiting and went to this restaurant the service is terrible. Waited forever food to be done over an hour. I asked for a discount because of the long wait. People who came in after I came in were served and left before my table received there food. Instead I got a bill for $241 that included a $35 dollar gratuity. So not waste your time going there.

I had sushi take out twice and both times the food was prepared beautifully and the taste was delicious. It's a great place on the way home which makes it that more perfect to visit. The customer service was perfect from placing my order on the phone to pick up and payment. A repeat for me for sure.

The level of service provided here was IMPECCABLE! We we're promptly seated and offered a very warm, moist towel to wash our hands. Drinks and appetizers were ordered, and then some Ramen and rolls The ramen was on par with any legit ramen joint. The rolls are what you would expect from any eatery specializing in Sushi/Rolls. Very good food, and AMAZING service. There was always a waiter close and paying attention to remove a bowl, plate, or trash from the stix. Drinks were never empty. Again, attention to detail was top notch!

This place was awesome! We got takeout and what I really loved about it is the box that it came in. It made it really easy to eat in the car! They came in a little Bento box. I really like the freshness of the fish as well. I thought the roles were really well executed too. Would highly recommend!

Decided to give this place a try. Upon arrival we were the only customers. Took an exception long time for the food to arrive after placing our order. The salad was decent and miso soup was a little too salty. The chicken teriyaki was horrible. It initially came out cold. I sent it back for a warmer entree. Apparently they must have microwave the chicken teriyaki and returned it to the table. I would not recommend this restaurant.

We picked Hoki based on Yelp reviews, and the restaurant did not disappoint. At 6:30, the restaurant was almost full - including seating at the bar. Service was good - pleasant waitress, and the food was at the table quickly. I ordered the Chirashi Don entree, the chef's choice sashimi was fantastic. There were about 12-15 pieces of assorted fish and roe - and even the rice was outstanding, with small pieces of seaweed mixed in. I would highly recommend Hoki if you are in this area - it is fantastic food for a reasonable price.

Went here for an early dinner tonight. Classy, minimal decor. Good use of space. Was greeted promptly and escorted to the sushi bar as I was dining alone. Service was prompt, friendly, and well matched to the vibe. Went with the sashimi dinner and a glass of Malbec. Miso Soup and salad with ginger dressing were both notable! Soup was hot, fresh. Greens in salad were some of the best I've seen in awhile and the ginger dressing was OUTSTANDING! Sashimi was delicious. The amberjack was surprisingly good, in a garlic and spicy pepper ponzu. The mackeral skin and roe was also a nice treat. Total bill was $45 before tip. Quality fish, friendly service. I welcome the opportunity to return!

Wish I had found this gem a little sooner during my trip to ATL. I actually came here after the gym and I quickly realized I probably should have dressed a bit "nicer".. This place is a nice place to go out on a date or have a nice dinner. It's a very minimalist designed restaurant and they have small touches such as lit candles and they give you a warm towel to clean your hands with. The host actually took me to my table and immediately came out with a warm towel and I looked at him as if i was confused. Then I quickly realized I was supposed to clean my hand with it and i'm probably in a "higher end" restaurant than I thought I was in. Anyway, I ordered the Shoyu ramen based on the servers' recommendation. It was a GREAT recommendation. I was not expecting "good" Ramen out here in the southern states - especially when compared to what we have available in california. Little did I know, this place has one of the better ramen that I have ate in my journey thus far. Only gripe is that this place is a bit expensive at $14 for a bowl of ramen. Given that the service and quality of food were both a 5/5, this is definitely still a 5* restaurant IMO. Would definitely come back and try the bento boxes - these are very reasonably priced!

This place is great. The sushi is incredibly fresh and high end selection. Aside from the high quality food, the service is sweet and attentive.

One of the better sushi places I've been to in a while. Sat at the sushi bar, the sushi chef was extremely meticulous as we watched him prepare. Even the rice he meticulously formed, and his knife skills were outstanding, fun to watch.They had three different kinds of Toro, The yellowtail and Uni were actually from Japan. Very high-quality food all the way around, everything we tried was excellent! Small place but would definitely recommend if you're in the Galleria area.

First time here and wiping tables with windex is a no for me. Wiping table and chair with the same cloth is a no for Me. On flip side service was good and the sushi was yummy. The tropical was my favorite one but, super ebi was good.

Always love coming here for lunch. Fishes are always fresh and service is great!

Great service, very good sushi. This can easily be my new local spot for sushi. I had the spicy yellowtail roll and the shrimp tempura roll. Both were very good.
