To who may concern!!! The food is not fresh all the shrimp or crab are dry and cold !! The fried chicken, mozzarella too is cold and not fresh !! The sushi just with the presentation you would notice is not gonna taste good!! this place I do not recommended to come, I told the employee I was not Happy just tell him the food is not fresh and him tell me that’s my problem!! Craving wonton soup and sushi. Found this place for lunch. Great food for the price. Clams Mussels soup and sushi were my favorite. I didn't even try most of what they offered. You would pay that for just one sushi roll elsewhere. My waitress was always there clearing my table, and very nice. I'll go back again when I'm in the area

Price was similar to other buffet. Atmosphere also very similar to other buffet style set ups. Food was okay. The place was dirty needs a good cleaning in dinning area. My biggest complaint was server was grouchy, she may be having a bad day or something but not attentive, and making faces of annoyance when asking questions. It was hard leaving a tip but the other server was really nice. Would not return. I would note there is a 10% off coupon in a booklet I got locally at walmart

Went here for dinner on a Tuesday night. Got a table right away. The buffet is really big. They have a huge sushi section. Different kinds of shrimp, noodles, fried foods, soups and dumplings. Their dessert section is small but they have different ice cream choices.

Good Food, Good People, 'nough said! I've been there twice and I'm a fan of all you can eat Japanese. You can also have Chinese, or Hibachi! All you can drink Soda, or tea. Amusement Park Across the street, Souvenirs, Ice and Gift Shops Next door. Great Staff! Friendly, Kind people who check on you. Very Humble! Went for birthday dinner with my kids. Party of 7. Nice looking place inside. Food looks great and smells amazing but lacks in flavor. Staff was not too friendly. Upon paying for check with a card a tip was demanded. We were going to tip in cash but I’m petty sure we were cursed out in Japanese as they were trying to rush us off the table. It is a buffer but we were never offered drink refills and no one came to check on us. I do not recommend this place if you’re looking for good food.

I love this place. I’m from Texas and None of the buffets (although very good) come close to the great options this place has! Food is coming out left and right and they stay on top of the food game. Servers were friendly and attentive. Clean overall and bathrooms were clean too. We went on a Saturday and seafood lunch was 10.99!!!! For two adults with waters it’s right around twenty and we left a generous tip because we really enjoyed this place! Give it a try! I had so many options for once I didn’t try the sushi but I bet it was amazing! The only con is parking is a little bit scarce and I don’t like parking in the back but we eventually moved the car to the front and ate in peace. Definitely coming back when we come to Orlando!

We have eaten here twice now, a few months apart. Same quality food. The service was great, the food was bland. Most dishes were overcooked and some downright crunchy and tough to chew and eat. It's an average Asian buffet with all the typical and usual items you come to expect. The steam buns were disappointing. This buffet is not great, but also not terrible. Just average. If you are looking for a quick bite to eat at an Asian buffet in the area, it'll do. If you have more time to research and find a better place, please do.

This location is clean and quite affordable. I believe they have a fairly large selection of options for a Chinese Buffet and the sushi area is consistently filled up. I have never seen it too busy, so it's easy to get a seat.

Greeter was friendly. Plates were cleared quickly. Floors were so slippery that it was a bit unsafe. Bathrooms were run down and fixtures were not clean. Food was okay. There was a wide selection of offerings which made my kids happy. Had frogs legs, crayfish, crabs, shrimp, fish, self-serve roast beef and pulled pork. Sesame balls were filled with powder instead of paste. The stir-fried veggie dish wasn't overly saucy. This was our second time coming (the last time was 2 years ago) and probably our last.

What an awesome buffet that's full of delicious choices! They have such an abundance of different Asian food here like there is something for everyone! They also have a hibachi grill here too where you can make your own mix of goodness with the items provided that right there is very cool as you don't really see that at most just Chinese buffets so this definitely made for a good twist on some yummy food Everything I tried here was yummy while it wasn't over the top amazing it was good for what it was and it definitely hit the Asian food spot for the day so do yourself a favor and go enjoy this yummy buffet it's totally worth it! Overall you really can't go wrong with an Asian buffets so don't overlook it because it's perfect for all ages!

Went in the middle of a week on a Wednesday around 12/1pm for lunch. There was only a handful of people there. The sushi was not all out when I arrived, they were still setting it up. I did not have any sashimi but all the other sushi was good. I got the basic rolls like California and tempura. The sushi was not terrible for being buffet sushi. They had eel sauce, soy sauce, wasabi, and yum yum available. They had several soups such as; egg drop, miso etc. I got the miso it was good. I had pork dumplings and was disappointed because they were cold, took a star off because of that. They had pork bao buns which had no pork, that was strange and they were cold. The rice was mediocre but I enjoyed the red bean buns, crab Rangoon, pork eggs rolls, pepper steak, pork skewers, fries, orange chicken, and sweet and sour chicken. They had fried fish, tons of desserts like brownies and fruits, crab, crawfish, salmon and shrimp. The sea food was served in different styles and cooked differently. I did not venture into it, maybe next time. The total for two was around $30 plus a soda. Tip not included in total. I would go again, they could improve their atmosphere.

Hokkaido is an all you can eat Chinese and Japanese Buffet. This location is across from Funspot in Old Town Kissimmee in the Grand Oaks Plaza but they also have their original location on S Apopka Vineland Rd in Orlando. We came over from the Orlando Japanese festival where lines were long, food was expensive, and it was hot with nowhere to sit and eat. After checking out the festival food options we decided to come Hokkaido for a late lunch. Parking is limited in this strip mall but it was not busy when we visited. The outside is rather austere but the inside is more inviting with a cavernous open room with a fish pond, bar, and booth seating around the perimeter. In the center of the room is the hot and cold bars and hibachi. They also have a party room. Hokkaido offers all of the typical items you would expect to find at this kind of buffet. We started off with the sushi bar where there was a decent selection of rolls and sashimi. From there we tucked into the hot and cold bars with seafood like peel and eat shrimp, crawfish, clams, and mussels, fried foods that included crab Rangoon, sweet and sour chicken, and egg rolls and traditional Asian dishes that included chicken Teriyaki, General Tso chicken, salt and pepper shrimp, green beans, noodles, chicken and broccoli, fried rice, lo mein and more. There is also soup, salad, steamed buns, and the aforementioned hibachi. Dessert is fresh fruit, cakes, pastries, Jell-o, and ice cream. The restaurant is spacious and clean and the food selection is fresh and plentiful. I can't think of anything that made this buffet stand out but the prepared food was executed well. Everyone in our party was able to find something they liked and we all left full. Depending on when you come, an adult buffet range in price from $11.99 to $17.99. A Yelp check in netted me an additional 10 percent off which was a nice surprise. For the price, Hokkaido Buffet is a solid option. The all-you-can-eat concept is definitely the main selling point, and if you're really hungry or looking to try a wide variety of dishes, it offers great value for money. It's not the highest quality food you'll find, but for a buffet, it's definitely worth the price. If you're craving an all-you-can-eat buffet with a variety of Asian flavors, this spot has a lot to offer.

What an amazing place where you can get American, Japanese and Chinese. There are many varieties to pick from. I had a chance to experiment eating a variety of Japanese and Chinese dishes. The staff were kvery friendly and maintained cleanliness of booths. I also like that you can pick what like in your hibachi dish.

Came when they first open on Saturday. It's $14.99 per person. The food is alright. They have wide selection of self-served ice cream. It's a big place that can host a lot of people. The staff were nice and courteous.

Monday lunch and I should know better than to do this to myself but I was hungry and this is here. And yes, this was one of the better Chinese buffets with a really nice display of sushi, clean steam tables and a clean restaurant. Protein options were very good with a few items not completely swimming in sweet sauce. My waiter was great at clearing dirty plates and keeping my water glass refilled. This was a good meal. Know that we dined there regularly and enjoyed the food at least bi-monthly. What made us stop going there was not the food but the cleanliness. I happened to pickup the napkin dispenser at the table and it was one sticky filthy mess. The filth could have been scraped off with a knife. Parking out back and walking to the front entrance, we pass by the open kitchen door and food boxes on the wet floor and just glancing in it like EWWWW. Anyway, we will not ever go back there.

First I want to say the staff were great. Super friendly. Prompt with drinks and clearing plates. They seemed like a great group. Unfortunately, this is the worst buffet I've been to sadly. Now it was July 4th and it was busy but not slammed. Front of house was keeping up with the flow and doing everything they could. This place has a lot of buffet bays so I was hopeful. But walking around I quickly realized there wasn't much that looked appetizing. Maybe they didn't have enough cooks on the 4th. Who knows. But many dishes were only warm even though there was plenty of turnover. Nothing really tasted decent. I don't want to go into details and be a jerk. I would just say we won't be back and can't recommend this place.

Food is not bad but wasn't very fresh. Also the signs with the labels on what is what were all jumbled up so sometimes was unsure what was what. Their hibachi station was a bit underwhelming but their staff was very kind! Also liked the theming of the bar area. Would probably visit other Chinese buffets before this one though.

This place is one of my new favorite stops. All you can eat and inexpensive! It was something like $17 for one person all you can eat. We were seated immediately and the server got our drinks immediately and we were able to go get food immediately. The server was very kind and refilled our drinks when needed. The food is a huge selection, a giant sushi selection, a hibachi, a variety of buns, tons and tons of variety. The inside is clean and it's a standard asian buffet format. Do come, do eat to your heart's content. We will be back.

The exterior is not very inviting but the inside is much better and the food presentation is very good. That is, for those food items prepared. And there is the problem. We arrived at 11:30 for lunch, only one other table was in the restaurant. The food items were still being placed and the hibachi was not even close to being ready. The soups and fried items were warm with proper holding temperature but the vegetables and protein dishes were room temperature or lukewarm at best. The appetizers were not even room temperature. It is difficult to imagine these holding temperatures were within code requirements. The frustration is the taste of the food was pretty good but obvious inconsistent temperature, and only about half of the prep work had been completed 30 minutes after opening. All the staff we saw were in their teens or early 20's. The restaurant is very close to being acceptable, but it is not. Where are the adults, who is in charge?

So so good !! the food was magnificent , i got this chicken that i tasted similar to orange chicken(idk name) , with chicken lo mein , and fries with the sweet and sour sauce. chicken was very flavorful and well cooked , ive been seeing a lot if reviews about their food being cold but i have never experienced that and my last visit on friday was around 10:30 & it was packed and food was hot all night. The lo mein & the chicken both go very well with sweet & sour sauce. All i will say is that if you plan on going later in the day or during the weekend make reservations it be very packed.

From the dirty floors to the dated ambience this begs to close its doors. The bathrooms are in need of urgent repairs and in lieu of proper hand soap it appears they use dish soap. One of the few positives is that the server kept one's cup filled. The tables were also pre-bussed frequently. This business needs a harsh reality check from what they represent themselves to be. The business owner's pictures depict a vibrant thriving business with a great variety of hot and fresh foods. However, the harsh truth is the food is low quality and flavorless. The sushi is far from what the business owner depicts. Rather if one was to dine here they would find plain boring sushi lacking visual appearance. The buffet is stocked with food below holding temperatures. Luke warm to cold is more like what one would receive. The chicken on stick is dry and obviously sat on the line more than the one hour holding time allowed by local health codes. Fish appears old and dry, and the shrimp is on the last leg of its shelf life. Certainly if one is traveling this would be one place to not waste your money.

I'm going to make a suggestion based on the information contained in the attached photo.,.? I will strongly recommend you review the dinner check prior to paying the bill. As you can see in this photo the price of the adult and child buffet is listed and it has the number 3 in front of each and it is completely acutely calculated 3 adult buffets 3 children's buffets and 3 drinks ( so you are to assume the "6" buffets are purchased and they must have been sharing the 3 drinks. This being said the only problem with this idea of sharing drinks is that the receipt is saying that they are a party of 3 ..... Not Logical for 3 guests to consume both the Adult and Child buffet!!! Watch what you are paying for!!! Those "Ghost Guests " that joined you for dinner were hungry and I really hope they got the Tip! B

I did not take any pictures, but the existing Yelp pics are pretty representative. We arrived at about 3:45 PM so we got the lunch pricing (bonus!). We did not have high expectations for this type of buffet (when you are paying less than $20 per person, you have to adjust your expectations), but a few of the dishes were pretty solid. The sushi rolls were reasonably fresh (as long as I avoided the ones with cream cheese). The soups were good, although the won ton soup had won ton with more of a pasta wrap (too thick). I tried the salt and pepper shrimp and that was good enough to go back for more. The mai fun was probably my favorite dish. The lo mein was pretty bland and the fried rice was pretty salty. I did not partake in the hibachi grill, but the chef who was running that was also doing sushi rolls. Self-service ice cream (not soft serve) was a bonus as well. Overall, this was a solid asian buffet.

I needed a Chinese food fix and my daughter recommended this place. We got there right at 11 am and it took awhile for them to set everything out but it didn't take that long really. I ate one little plate and went back and a lot more was set out, ate a little bit more and then everything was out. They provide a lot of food spread out over a bunch of serving counters with plenty of maneuvering space although it was not crowded at all. There was a lot of seafood from fried shrimp and boiled crawfish to traditional baked fish. There were the usual chicken entrees and my favorite, pepper steak. The desserts were really good too. A bit better than the usual buffets I frequent. The coconut cake was really good. I'm afraid I had to go back for "seconds" on the desserts. Hey! I'm on vacation, lol. At least I wasn't on a cruise ship where the eating can really get out of hand. Overall I would come back for another meal. Parking is very limited in the front where there is only a one way exit. There is more parking in the rear.

Located in the tourist area of Kissimmee Hokkaido is located in an older strip mall. Despite the older appearance the dining area was clean and staff is friendly and helpful. There were 10 food bars about half were hot and the others cold with assorted salads, desserts and other cold foods. Most of the foods were fresh and plentiful some were over cooked (it seemed that the steamers were too hot.) Everything we ate tasted good. Prices were excellent and when you check in on Yelp you receive 10% off.

$17.99 per person, open until 10:30p on a daily. They have crawfish, crab, clams, sushi, mongolian bbq, and ice cream bar! The place is not the cleanest, but their food selection is pretty great and the service for cleaning the table is also pretty quick. Highly recommend to drop by and visit. The food is pretty yummy and flavorful. Fair warning majority of the sushi are cream cheese filling. Do wish there is more other version of the filling for inside.

We are local and probably go here once, maybe twice a month. Food is always amazing and plenty of items to choose from. All items are well seasoned and properly cooked. Customer service has always been on point and never disappointed.

Checkin for 10% off everything!! Came here our first day visiting Orlando and my family wanted to come back here the next day. Maybe we went on a good day but the fried crabs were absolutely massive and delicious. Coming from maryland I thought I knew what good crab was but this place hit the spot. And for $18~?! From experience buffet foods are very salty but that was not the case. Their other seafoods such as the clams and shrimp were tasty as well. Waiter was quick with clearing our plates. Could not have left more satisfied.

Food was disgusting and very little edible options. The cream cheese wontons tasted sour/spoiled. The sushi tasted fishy and a fried sushi piece that I tried tasted like a wet dog smells. Service was good but they didn't look happy to be there. Probably because they know that their restaurant is sub par. I can only hope they are paying them well. Ambiance looks run down and I should've taken the red flag that the place was mostly empty. I don't think this restaurant has long.

Wednesday March 12, 2025. Arrived at 3:59pm. Seated at 4:01pm. Then was told dinner price starts at 4:00pm. Ok. Issue was that the food on the buffet was left over lunch, cold and dried out. Told our server but only response was, I'll tell Manager. Food wasn't addressed. When leaving I told the lady at the checkout register and all she would say is 4 O'clock dinner price. Tried to say my issue wasn't the price but the quality of the food and also that if we were getting leftovers from lunch we shouldn't be charged dinner price. She only said 4 O'clock dinner price. I also again told her that the food was cold and not fresh and asked to speak with the manager. Was told no manager. Asked for assistant manager or supervisor. She said no and I don't care. $105 for 5 people eating cold and dried out food? You should really care. I know I will never be back.

This food was very bland, cold ,old, and not good at all. The ambience was average it was your average Chinese buffet. But the service I have to say, was very attentive and friendly. That is the best thing this place has gone for itself the customer service. That's the only reason why I gave it one star..

This buffet is the best in the area, especially for $15.99/person! I feel like I try something new every time I go. Their hot and cold bars are filled with fresh food that they're constantly making more of. Many of these aren't things I've seen at Asian restaurants, even made to order. My favorites are probably the baozi, chicken and broccoli, and sushi selections. Whenever I feel in a super picky mood, they also have a hibachi grill where you can choose meats, veggies, noodles, toppings, and sauces that are cooked to perfection every time! Even if I get a funny look or two, I love being able to cover my stir fry in equal parts teriyaki and yum-yum sauce. Admittedly, I've visited alone before, but it's perfect for large groups! There are multiple sections of tables/booths and a designated party room that you can reserve. The only downside is how limited the parking is, but there's plenty more behind the building. For groups that aren't super big on Asian food but love AYCE, there's plenty of American dishes and deserts as well. For instance, roasted pork, baked fish, Mac & cheese, pizza, etc. Overall, it's a real crowd-pleaser!

Well deserved 2-Star rating! All the sushi items taste the same. The items are replaced when almost empty. All food items need more flavor. Staff is attentive and keeps the establishment clean-- The End!

Worst disgusting place ever ! Food was horrible !! Waitstaff acted like it was a chore to help you with something the older manager with glasses a female was a complete rude and obnoxious person.

Bland. Steamers too high which are over cooking every thing. No real flavor difference in most of the sauces. The place smells like mop bucket water. Prices are $18 plate which is above average and over priced for the quality.

We were extremely disappointed in the food and cleanliness. The floor was greasy and food was not fresh. The bathroom was totally unbearable. It was/is extremely dirty. There is stuff all over the walls. We are from NC and will never go to or recommend this place ver!!

This is the sister location for the original Hokkaido which is located on South Apopka Vineland Road near the Lake Buena Vista area. This restaurant is situated at the right end cap of a strip retail building and located almost directly across from Old Town Kissimmee. As other reviewers have noted, the parking in front of the restaurant is limited and confining. I would highly recommend parking in the rear of building where spaces are plentiful. The restaurant advertises itself as Chinese and Japanese Buffet and they certainly cover those bases adequately. There is a decent sushi selection available but, I will note for your lovers of sashimi there is a one sashimi piece limit. I understand due to food costs the reasoning however, as a BUFFET my thought is the offerings should either be completely available for consumption or not available at all. For those wanting their food hot and fresh, there is a hibachi grill where the chefs will cook your choice of rice, noodles, meats and vegetables. As to the quality of food, as with all buffets there are hits and misses in terms of the end product. On the whole though the fare is above-average for a buffet. The service too can be hit or miss at a buffet and especially in a tourist area but, the female server who attended to our group was friendly and efficient. As of February, 2023 the dinner buffet is $17.99 per person not including the cost of a beverage. For the price and choices available, Hokkaido is a good option particularly for large groups.

I was impressed with the ratings and decided to give it a try, poor me! Good service, nice variety. Just like any Buffett just wait a little and the food will be fresh! However the taste was blend. This place is definitely for the quantity and not quality. the makis had been prepared during lunch but it didn't look fresh, I think is due to be close to the front door. The food in the buffet some of them looks good but it was cold, like the spring rolls I had to select from the bottom, and they were still lukewarm. Liked to see the Tofu in the Miso soup, and it was a good mixed soup! But I was appalled with the little cockroach in my table, I was very happy I was done! As I waiting cor the check I took the pictures... I know it's Florida and spring is here, but let's be prepared! I don't want to see the kitchen! The stars were due to first time, and enjoyed the grill option, wished had more veggies and tofu in the choices for the grill, some seasons would be nice too.

The egg rolls had raw meat inside and when we brought this to the attention of the waitress, she gaslit us and told us that the meat looks normal. Later she came and apologized meaning she knew it was raw and tried to lie to us. Terrible experience, they do not maintain proper food safety

Hokkaido is a very good Chinese buffet. Wide range of selections. Lots of seafood options. Everything was tasty. If we lived here, we would definitely go again.

My parents and I were thrilled to see so much seafood at such a reasonable price. Plus sushi and hibachi if you want. And a large selection of desserts and ice cream. This is a great value and you will be sure to leave full! My mom's favorite is the salt and pepper shrimp, but I thought the boiled shrimp was equally succulent and sweet.

Strange vibe overall. The restaurant was busy with people, yet it somehow felt lifeless. The atmosphere just didn't click. As for the food--it was below average, and the price didn't match the quality. Definitely not worth the cost. If you come across this place, I'd recommend passing it up.

As a Californian This buffet is amazing value. I've been to Orlando three times and eat Here every time. The hibachi and hot sour soup are particularly satisfying.

We stopped in for carry out after the Disney parks closed. Maybe it was the time (I hope), but this was the worst Asian cuisine experience myself and my party has ever experienced. We should have just walked out. Here are my issues: Food was killed by the heat lamps Staff was sitting around on phones and non responsive. 8.00 a pound was posted and they server insisted it was 10.00 There was hair in the chicken The flavor was bland The food selection that was out was small. Most food selections were empty We will not be back and I am sad my love for buffets and Asian cuisine was soured.

Great for the whole family !! We are a family of picky eaters- one vegan, one gluten free, and three generally very picky eaters. This all you can eat buffet had options for all of us. They offered sushi, meats, pasta, hibachi, soup, Asian rolls, and ice cream to name a few. For me as a vegan, I started with some fruits like cantaloupe and edamame. Then, I made my plate for a vegetable hibachi. The chef asked if I wanted meat and I said no, that I was vegan. He offered tofu - that another chef went to the back to get for me. He waited until the other hibachi's were finished (with meat), cleaned the flat top, and then proceeded to cook my vegan meal. I was highly impressed! I also ready enjoyed the vegetable rolls and hot and sour soup. They had a variety of ice cream flavors- from mint chocolate chip to sherbet, but they all contained dairy. Very large venue with lots of seating and easily accepts large groups. We went on a Wednesday evening around 5 PM and had no wait. The servers didn't talk much, but they were nice and cleaned up immediately after we finished each plate.

3.5/5 stars. Came on a Saturday night, they were pretty busy so the food was fresh. Sushi was meh. The lo mein was disgusting. Fried shrimp and crab were actually really good. The other dishes were meh as well. Dessert and cold bar looked really old. Overall for $14 it was okay. Ive had better for that price. Tip: ask to see what they have and walk around to see if you're pleased before eating

Our server was, darling. But other than that, the food is subpar. Obviously you get what you pay for when I spoke to the sushi boy. I explained to him highly that we did not want any mayonnaise in our sushi. He put together a beautiful platter of sushi for us, but obviously all the fillings were full of mayonnaise and then he argued with me and told me, what I said. I'm sorry, but I don't need anybody to clarify with me when I clearly told him that we did not want mayonnaise. Overall, the prop is fairly clean but again you're looking for quality or feed. This is just really good feed.

I like this page especially when you have a toddler who palate is not well defined.. so plenty of things for them to try. I typically just get the hibachi buffet as I like my food really hot and buffet food is typically warm. Overall , good selection of choices and for the price, it's great.

The food was cheap, old and of very poor quality in the presentation, variety and taste. Service was mediocre at best. Taste was lacking, little seasoning and good that sat out too long. Cost was too expensive for what they are selling. Avoid this place at all costs. Go anywhere else...
