Stopped by Hold Fast Coffee Co. this morning and had the Salted Caramel Rosemary Latte with the Garden Sunrise breakfast. Such a great start to my day! The latte was comforting and unique, with perfectly balanced flavors, and the breakfast was fresh, healthy, and satisfying. Everything felt thoughtfully made and full of warmth. Can’t wait to come back!

Absolutely loved this place! The moment I walked in, the ambience hit different—calm, cozy, and aesthetic. The music, lighting, everything just sets the right mood. I tried the coffee and the bangle, and both were amazing. The coffee was rich and smooth, and the bangle was super fresh and full of flavor. Perfect combo. ☕️🥯 If you’re looking for a spot to chill, work, or just enjoy a quiet moment, this is definitely the place. Would love to come back again and again. ❤️ Highly recommended! 👌

First time here with a friend, and we had the best time! Definitely would love to come back again. I tried the Pumpkin Spice Latte with a croissant, and they were both delicious!

Sweetener is extra 😂 Just had a really adorable conversation where I learned the reason for my matcha latte (priced at 6.75 on the menu) rang up at $8.13 is because it has honey. I asked if it was standard to charge for sugar and honey and was told yes “because it’s an extra cost for them.” It’s a cost for every coffee shop, but all the others offer standard sweeteners without an extra charge. And if you were offering me something you consider a nonstandard sweetener, why did you not share that there would be an associated up charge?

First time visit. Bought a bag of beans and get a free drip coffee with the purchase. Nice plus! Macchiato and drip were both very good. Customer service was 5 stars! Definitely coming back. Too bad they were out of stickers. 😉

This is my favorite new little coffee shop that’s popped up along Academy! I tried it for the first time with a friend the other day and loved it! Their beverages are reasonably priced and the cafe is a quiet place to work on things you need to do. I will definitely come back!

11/8/2025 Nearly a year later and my review still holds true. This place is consistently incredible. The baristas are so positive and kind, you won’t find better people anywhere else. Their drinks are works of art—visually and to the tastebuds. I always come here when I meet a new friend or need a space away from home to work on a project. You’re going to be well cared for here! If you need suggestions, I always love their lattes (make sure to check out their seasonals) and the dawn patrol sandwich. Their pastries are top-notch! I would die for the pain au chocolat (aka chocolate croissant) and the queenets. But to be honest, you can’t lose no matter what you order. Cheers to many, many more hours and lattes spent here! I dined in just to see if I would add this place to my coffee shop rotation and my mind was blown with positivity. Their chocolate croissant is just divine. I tried their orange cardamom latte and loved it. I was skeptical as it’s not a flavor I typically go for, and it might be my favorite latte I’ve had lately. If you are a student and need to get your school work done, a book worm in need of a cozy reading corner, or an author in need of some focus to write, COME HERE! It’s the place to be.

Honestly one of my go-to places to study. I made it my goal to try every coffee shop in the springs a few years ago and I still believe the best espresso is at holdfast. I also love how bright the cafe is and the staff is so kind. My only gripe is the number of outlets, but it’s not a huge space so I can’t stay disappointed for long. Once I have a banana bread latte I forget all about the outlets bc I’m too happy to care.

The coffee here is so good and smooth! They also have the roaster on sight. We love trying local coffee places when we travel and really enjoyed the coffee here. We also took beans home and they were even better there! The matcha is delish, and we tried a morning bun and it was breakfast perfection! The servers were all really kind and very helpful. The spot is super cute! It can get busy and coffee always took awhile to get so definitely don't go in when you are in a rush.

I love this revamp Hold fast coffee shop. Ordered at the cashier then they gave you the number and serve you at the seat yourself table. The service is fast & good. My banana bread latte came with artful heart shaped latte arts and tasty banana bread taste. Not too sweet which I prefer. My girlfriend loves her butter croissant paired well with jam :) The decor inside gives you modern loft industrial vibes with some hanging plants. Outdoor consists of nice real wood table top & couples community style seating. Love the angel wings wall art on the side of the building. Overall, one of a must visit coffeeshop in CoS!

This is a great place to chill! The drinks and the snacks tasted good. I liked that they have plenty of parking spots as well. I had their special iced coffee and a cookie and was happy about both choices! Note: this is not space for a large group. It's a popular spot, so you likely won't be able to find a spot for your large group to sit.

Been here a handful of times now. The service is always fast and friendly and we never have a problem finding a table. I love their Matcha. The kids love the hot chocolate and cinnamon twists. They have a handful of breakfast items as well. Highly recommend!

The tables are not cleaned & FILTHY. ALWAYS. Coffee is yummy though .. but i never want to sit down or touch their tables. They are grimy. Sucks.

The location is not too convenient (I've lived in this area for many years and never knew it's been here for TEN years!) several blocks off of N. Academy Blvd.), outside of the restaurant is okay...kind of in an industrial-feel area, they don't really have a beautiful view in this beautiful mountain-city, the inside is fairly simple with many different kinds of seating with some quite comfortable, I was greeted at the front counter, received good service, very limited menu of food and beverages with no menu up on the wall, coffee (medium roast) is fine but only have 12oz cups for coffee and it cost $4.33 - pricey, relaxing music, decent free WiFi, and a gang tag written next to the restroom door on the wall. This gang tag written and left there ALONE would make me never return to this coffee shop.

On our trip in Colorado we looked on Yelp and found this little coffee shop! Such a cute spot for a quick cup of coffee or a place to meet with friends on the weekend! Really enjoyed my iced vanilla latte and the staff was very friendly. The parking lot was pretty large out front and there is a patio area for when the weather is nice. There's also a good amount of indoor tables if needed.

Cold brew was so good! They also had fun latte flavors and their breakfast sandwiches were so yum

Great study spot. Has some quiet nooks and some social corners as well as enough outdoor seating to find a place to work or study that suits your style. Friendly and helpful staff and well cared for and clean. They do run out of pastries pretty early though. So if that's on your list make sure to get there earlier in the day.

Have been here for breakfast twice. Coffee is great, food and service are good. Yogurt parfait and bagels are our go-to. Prices are a little high but that's just the way it goes. Would still definitely come here often if we lived closer. :)

Nice place and delicious mocha latte. The staff was friendly they even bright my coffee to me. Exactly the place You would go to meet w a friend or small group or like me, just relax and read.

My first time coming to this place. Really close to the East Library. Customer Service is amazing! Super friendly and kind staff. Very decorative cafe, and tons of seating too. Definitely worth coming back

One of my favorite coffee shops in town to work from. It can be tough to find a spot to sit at peak hours but usually doesn't take too long to get a seat. The coffee is hands down my favorite in the springs and the customer service is great. Highly recommend.

Enjoyed a couple hours at Hold Fast catching up with a friend. Plenty of places to sit, do laptop work, or just have conversation. We ordered Latte. The drink was very good and the "artwork" on top was beautiful. I will certainly be back and look forward to trying a pastry and taking home a bag of their roasted coffee beans.

Absolutely one of our favorite coffee shops in the Springs. Their cappuccinos are amazing, the pastries are wonderful and the whole ambiance is relaxing and light. I can't wait for it to warm up so we can use the patio this Summer, too. My only issue - please get a couple high chairs or boosters for kids. We love to come with our daughter, but it's always difficult when one of us has to hold her since we have nowhere to put her while we're there. If they could get those, we would be so appreciative!

As someone who enjoys a good cup of Joe and who has enjoyed coffee from all around the World, I found myself looking for some good coffee in Colorado Springs. A friend mentioned that Peak Place was pretty good, so I made some time to drive by and see what the fuss was all about. The cafe is hidden in a strip mall so if you're not careful you may overlook it, but you would be doing it at your own loss. I ordered a Cafe Latte and I waited to see what would happen next. Although I wasn't the only one there, the barista took specific care with each order to prepare it specifically for each client. My latte was smooth and rich with a a gentle smoky note to it. The barista took the time to create a beautiful rose with the foam and for 30 minutes I was in heaven. I'll come back.

I met a friend here and I had never been before. What a cute little spot. I ordered a breakfast sandwich and an ice chai. They have indoor and outdoor seating. It was a beautiful Colorado day so I sat outside. The food and drink were delightful and it was a great atmosphere to catch up with a friend

First time in the Springs and Peak Place is the first stop. I absolutely love everything about the place. The service, the food, the coffee, and the vibe! Places like these are rare, where everything just hits the spot. They have a limited menu but it sounds so good. We got the bagel with olive oil and scallions cream cheese. and the breakfast tacos -- better than I expected. Lot of toppings brings a lot of flavor with every bite. Also got a hot latte with hazelnut, and they drew the pretty heart design of course. :) and my other half got americano. Barista was super nice and patient and helped me decide what to get. The vibe in here is everything. First, you have a gorgeous clear view of the mountains. It's quiet enough to come work or take a nap here. There is a couch and some cozy seats. Very soft music. There's also a private room if you really need to be away from all the happenings-- although it's not loud in here in general. We came on a Saturday around 11am. I definitely recommend and would come back.

Found this total gem a couple months ago and finally made some time to come in and I'm so glad I did! Best coffee selection, sweetest employees (shout out to Cleo!!), and an overall great vibe.

This place is the perfect spot for a casual coffee and foodie-type breakfast. I was blown away by the bagel breakfast sandwich, which I honestly think was the best sandwich I've ever had from a coffee shop! Coffee is great, and there's plenty of areas to hangout and do work or meet with friends. Staff was great too! If I lived in the area, I would frequent this shop!

Love this place!! First time in for breakfast, I ordered the açaí bowl and coffee. So, so good. The coffee was so flavorful and delicious, as well as the bowl! I love the healthy choices that are offered. This is such a cozy intimate spot to chat, study, get some work done or just read a book. The employees are so helpful and sweet. One of my favorite things they offer are the wine flight nights! Sampling wine from wherever they choose, usually a specific location. Inside is cozy, small intimate tables, with TVs in the back, which is helpful if you bring a child in. The bathrooms are always tidy. And the view of the mountains is so beautiful from the patio!

Loved the coffee, and the breakfast options.!! Most coffee shops don't offer this kind of food options & Hold Fast has done a great job in this department! Great ambiance for meeting a friend or doing computer work!

My new favorite coffee spot! I came around 3pm and it wasn't too crowded! There was a lot of seating and could be good for reading, working or even doing homework on a cold day! I ordered the Gingerbread Latte and it tasted just like gingerbread and not too sweet! The barista recommended the chocolate chip cookies and they were delicious! Definitely coming back!

Guys, the staff here is incredible. They put people before the product, while still remaining incredibly focused on giving you a good cup of coffee. Their team works hard to make sure that your experience is a quality one! The baristas are knowledgeable, kind and very good at their job. Also - I love that Peak Place is always trying stuff! There's always something new to taste or a really great beer they just put on the menu. The space itself is super warm and inviting. A comfy couch area and even a conference room you can reserve for meetings. The patio is awesome when the weather is nice enough! Basically, you've got lots of options. Just go here. It's really great and the people are top notch.

Exploring coffee shops is one of my favorite activities. Colorado Springs is definitely a great place for it. This is my first time in here and I'm not disappointed. When you step out of the vehicle you can smell the roaster hard at work. I got a cortado and my wife got a traditional chai latte. The cortado is at the top of the list for best that I've had. The chai is really good as well. We will be back very soon.

I really like it here. It's down to earth and I feel comfortable. They have great coffee (beans too), and yesterday I had delicious blueberry Rooibos tea. I love that they serve French Kitchen pastries and have also always enjoyed their warm cinnamon rolls. Great seating options too!

We stopped in for two coffees and some beans before we walked over to a Christmas market. My oat macchiato (Italian-style, not the sugary caramel kind) and my husband's cortado were delicious. The staff was friendly, drinks were well made, and the shop was clean and well-decorated. All-in-all, it was a lovely cafe experience. If you like to brew coffee at home, check out their beans. The beans we purchased were some of the best we have tried since moving to Colorado Springs. We grind our own beans and brew Chemex and Aero Press at home. We only like high-quality beans, and these fit the bill. We will definitely be back to purchase more beans and beverages. (The beans we purchased are the ones in the pic.)

Private parking, nice outdoor seating area, and clean interior with lots of seating as well. Staff is friendly and prices are comparable to other cafes. Flavor is great and presentation is awesome. I had a macchiato (traditional) and my wife had a latte. We were not disappointed! Will be back to try more!

This was my first time here and I loved it. I love the atmosphere, the vibe, the double dirty chai, and cinnamon twist. My friend got a spicy dirty and the sunrise bagel, she said it was delicious.. it looked delicious too! I came here to get some schoolwork done, it wasn't crazy busy and there were others doing work there as well. Soft music (depending where you sit) and lots of seating options. If you plan on spending some time there to do work, or hang out for a while I recommend bringing a light jacket because it gets chilly in there. Definitely. Ok'ing back, highly recommend.

Super cool place, excellent service and coffee! Lots of seating inside and out. It was a nice day when I visited and they had the garage door open. I like the look and feel to this place. It is a bit hipster, but super chill with a friendly vibe. I'm a latte gal and I could actually taste the espresso in my latte, which I loved! The artwork was a nice touch too. I'll definitely be back and I'd recommend it!

Love having a local place to walk to for a cup of coffee or breakfast sandwich. Their bagel sandwiches are the best ! Staff is extremely kind and helpful. Love the local feel and a really good Cold Brew!!! Highly recommend!

Peak Place is not your average coffee shop. From the cozy/chill setup to the staff that go above and beyond, this is a place I have really enjoyed! Of course, the product is important too. The coffee is very good, and they have plentiful option on the menu. Love it, I just wish I didn't live so far away!

Sadly they don't have the food they have shown on the Yelp app however, the coffee makes up for it 100%. Best coffee I've had I. A loooooonnnnnggggg time

Nice coffee house for meetings, studying or just a cup of coffee. I wish there were more comfy seating...currently only one sofa are and 2 lounge chairs...both taken when I was there. Seating at all other tables is metal so not exactly a comfortable resting place for the bum that encourages to linger, work, drink more coffee...

Fantastic coffee and a great place to hang out - these people care about making the perfect cup so if you like good coffee then this is your place.

I love having Peak Place nearby. The staff is always friendly, but not over the top like you might find at Dutch Bros. The coffee is made onsite by Nathan and his merry band of roasters at "Hold Fast Coffee". My wife and I have had bunch items and were impressed. Prices are fair. Peak Place also has beer and wine for purchase as well. If I recall correctly, Monday's is all day happy hour! Peak Place is a perfect place to meet a friend or a business client. Enjoy!

Though the menu is small, as is expected at a cafe, the drinks and food are delicious. The staff are always friendly and I thoroughly enjoy going to Hold Fast.

One of the best coffee shops in the Springs! They have a wide selection of food and beverages including beer and wine! Atmosphere of the cafe is good... different rooms/areas make it a good option for meeting friends or settling in and reading a book... lots of outdoor seating too! Biggest con: the location is a bit off the beaten path and not easy to spot from the street. Biggest pro: They roast their own coffee ("Hold Fast" is their brand) and it is HANDS DOWN the best in town! Definitely grab a bag of beans to take home with you!

They do find some Wonderful Beans! This review is mostly about the coffee. They roast here under the Hold Fast moniker. I discovered an utterly superb fruity and flavorful light roast from Hold Fast quite by accident. Then I had to check out the roastery. Right inside Peak Place, not far from Academy and Union, is where they roast. The coffee shop they are in has a pretty cool ambience and they've been well reviewed here. If you are a connoisseur of superb coffees, sometimes known as a "coffee snob," then you've gotta try this great Colorado roaster. To me it's hard to find a roaster that goes to the trouble of seeking out great beans then knows how to roast them to bring out the best. Whoever is doing those experiments here at Hold Fast definitely knows what they are doing. My compliments to the artist/scientist that does all that cupping and profiling! Bravo! If you hang out at the north end of town check 'em out. You'll love their coffee!

I was recently down in the Springs trying to kill some time while waiting for traffic to die down. This spot was perfect for that. I settled down at a table with my laptop and was surprise to see you received service at the tables. You also get little bowls of popcorn at your tables which I love. This a great spot to get some work done and I saw multiple other people who had the same idea. I love that they also have wines and beer here. Also they have a small menu with things like cheese plates to munch on. The staff was extremely kind and helpful and next time I'm in the Springs I'll be sure to stop by this spot.

Cool atmosphere. Love the murals and decor. But expensive. Nearly $6 for a cinnamon roll is ridiculous. Will come back to try the coffee sometime and update my review.

Cute little coffee spot! Came to do their pikes peak restaurant week. The girl on the counter was helpful but after asking me twice if I wanted to go or here (I said here both times) she is packed it to go... which is fine, but not like it was that busy to forget. If you need to study or do some work, this is a nice quiet chill spot. Just tried the bagel sandwich, the dawn patrol and it is really really good! The jelly sweetness dang the saltiness of the egg is not something I thought would go, but to my surprise it is really good. Also had the cappuccino, should have asked for sugar in it... and banana scone. I am a super fan of scones, not everyone seems to enjoy them... this one was good. The banana flavor was not overpowering, and it hit the spot.
