got a hot kashmiri chai. taste is good - it is NOT premade so it does not have a ton of sugar. tastes like they made it themselves. they also have parle g biscuits provided, only a dollar!! such a nice addition. my only complaint is there are no pistachios in the kashmiri chai. it is a very important feature in the chai! its the finishing touch that makes it feel the most authentic. they have a large menu with breakfast items, chai, coffee, frozen drinks, and sandwiches as well. the theme inside is cute and minimalistic. there is plenty of seating as well as a lottt of outlets/ports to charge devices. the music is nice as well, and the cafe is very clean.

From the moment you walk in, you get invited in by all the decorations. They also have semi private seating arrangements. I had the railway chai which is one of their popular ones. It was packed with flavors! I wish there was a way to control the sweetness, but it was easily one of the best chai in the area. If you like your chai with extra spices, give it a try!

Great customer service, nice pleasing ambience and relatively medium but concentrated indian teas and coffees. Railway tea is must for any Indian wanting to taste good chai.

Overall Experience: 9/10 Taste: 7/10 Service: 8/10 Presentation: 10/10 Decor: 10/10 Here’s what was ordered: Railway Chai: 10/10; $5.15 I ordered this as the 5 spice intrigued me, I was curious to see what the drink tasted like and if it was a spicy type of flavor. I felt like it was a desi version of a pumpkin-spiced latte, it had all the warm spices that you would taste in a PSL but with tea and not coffee. There wasn’t a pumpkin flavor though, but still a good substitute instead of the PSL from Starbucks. Kashmiri Chai: 8.5/10; $5.15 I love Kashmiri chai. Aside from cardamom chai, Kashmiri is my all-time favorite, but it’s hard to find a good quality cup if you’re not in Pakistan. HMC’s version is quite delicious but unfortunately, it didn’t have any nuts in the actual drink. I made sure to check with a spoon to see if the pistachios had settled to the bottom but nothing was there. I don’t know if the owners want to stick to a more traditional version of the teas but imagine a cup of Kashmiri chai with steamed milk on top with a dash of chopped or finely crushed pistachios. Sweet Cream Chai Cold Brew: 7/10; $5.15 I have always seen cold brew made out of coffee beans but never with tea so this drink caught my attention. The flavor profile was lightly sweet and milky, it had a blend of a coffee and tea flavor, and the coffee flavor overpowered the other flavors. If you are a fan of cold brew, then you will probably enjoy this drink. Green Apple Refresher: 9/10; $5.25 I love tart flavors and I made sure to order this because I needed something cold to cool me down before I left the chai shop into the blazing Texas heat. It was like a sweet and sour apple soda, just a tad too sweet for me but overall very tasty. I will have to try the other flavors the next time I visit. Gulab Jamun Cake Jar: 6/10; $7.50 I asked the employee taking my order what the most popular cake jar was and was told it was the Gulab Jamun jar, I didn’t see the price until I sat down after ordering. I was a little disappointed to see that it was $7.50 for such a small cup of cake (See photos) It should’ve been $5 max for such a small portion. Inside the jar, I counted about 5 decent sized Gulab Jamuns that were sweet but the frosting was very sweet and unfortunately overpowered the flavor of the actual Gulab Jamun, there was a little bit of cake at the bottom that tasted very good because it absorbed the sugary syrup from above. Overall I was not impressed by the cake jar and do not recommend it. Next time I will try the Croffle. **All drinks were ordered as small

We are in Frisco often for events and was waiting for this place to open. We probably pulled in 3 times during constructions thinking they were open. Glad the wait is over. The menu is missing online, so we will include a few pictures in this review to help. Initially we thought they would only have chai but they had some nice snacks. We tried the chai and the kathi roll. Both were good and the stay was friendly.

Took my mom n dad to this new place, and the atmosphere is amazing. It's so nice n cozy and has the Cafe vibes of Bangladesh inside. We ordered the kashmiri and doodh chai, as well as their unique croffle sundae with fruity pebbles and a Rasmalai cake jar. Both the chai were really good (my parents approved). The Croffle sundae was great in taste, a bit tough to cut into pieces, but I don't mind it. The fruity pebble crunches added a different flavor n texture as well. Finally, the rasmalai cake jar was amazing as well. The cake and the sweet just melted inside. Also, shout out to the ladies taking n making the orders today, really helped with the orders with good suggestions. One negative that could be pointed out would be the lack of savory items on a Sunday afternoon as they were out of their Samosas and Kati rolls, and the ladies suggested visiting on Tuesday as that's when they restock. I will be back, though, to try the other menu items, that's for sure.

Comfortable atmosphere and great selection of drinks. The staff is very friendly. The Onion Samosa is delicious with a touch of spice to snack on 😄

~Update - went back again - some of the most uncomfortable seats - can sit down even for 10 mins ! Another visit and the chai does not live up - i can get better tasting tea at one of the gazillion other Indian restaurants, the irani tea has a weird after taste and feel like puking. ~~Previous Review Good chai and good service. The decor is really good. They better add some noise absorption panels - it gets really noisy in here even with a few people talking - unless you have a noise cancelling headphone would not step inside

Yelp
Masala Chai is one of my favorite teas. I was driving by one day and happened to see the word Chai in the name and decided to stop in to give them a go. I'm glad I did! I was promptly greeted when I first walked in. Upon entering the first thing that I noticed was the unique booth seating to my left and the cozy chair seating to my right. As I walked further into the place I noticed how clean and well kept the dining area was. There is more seating for larger groups behind the partition to the right. This area is perfect for working, studying, meeting with friends or hanging out alone. Each booth has two plugs for computers, phones, laptops etc. The booths have large tables to spread out all of your devices. Once I got to the counter I noticed a wide selection of chais on the menu such as Dhood Chai, Railway Chai, Kashmiri Chai, Lemongrass Chai, and Sweet Cream Chai Cold Brew. The Railway Chai is the most similar to Masala Chai. I went with the Kashmiri chai, my son got the sparkling peach refresher, and my other son got the Dhood chai. My youngest son loved his refresher, he said he really enjoyed the peach flavor. My middle son loved dunking the Parle G cookies into his Dhood chai, he said the two went well together. I enjoyed the Kashmir chai, I like my tea lightly sweetened and I prefer oat milk and I was happy this place had a chart for sweetness, milk options, and tea strength. I've had chai at many other places and it is mostly served the traditional way, it is nice to have options here. When I'm in the area I will definitely stop by. We had a most enjoyable visit. Good chai + good ambiance = good time! Don't change Hold My Chai!

Yelp
Stopped by for their soft opening leading up to their grand opening. What a great overall experience from the sweet cashier who gave us three of their top chai recommendations to the super adorable atmosphere with cute tables and decor! We tried the iced doodh cha and the iced railway chai, and both hit the spot - what a perfect way to end our day! We will definitely be back!

Yelp
Was good the first time I tried it. Second time, they got the size wrong, chai came out room temp and did not taste good. Couple of kids were making the chai... probably not very experienced as the first crew that did it.

Yelp
Hold My Chai is a cozy spot with booth seating that serves authentic chai and coffee, we had railway chai which instantly transported us back to the nostalgic days of Indian rail travel. The ambiance is perfect for relaxing, complete with play cards and Uno for a fun time with friends. They even offer Parle G cookies with chai, adding a delightful Indian touch. The customer service is amazing, making every visit a pleasant experience.

Yelp
I pity the fool who lives in Frisco and hasn't sampled their quality. If you know you know!

Yelp
There is a nice ambience in the story, and was not very busy when I went. This would be a great place to study and get some work done. I ordered an Iced Railway Chai; it was mid, not flavorful and very watered down. Essentially tasted like water and a splash of chai. I may have just come on an off-day.

Yelp
Very friendly service and owners. They gave us some good recommendations and we ended up with the railways and kashmiri chai. we had a member of our party who is lactose intolerant so the person making the chai showed us the actual milk used which is a nice touch. Really enjoyed the railways chai. Kashmiri chai is solid but had more of a green tea flavor to it. I will definitely come back and bring family and friends to try other chais!

Yelp
I had really high hopes for this place because t after trying it out twice, I don't think we'll be coming back a third time. First time it was during soft opening, we ordered iced Kashmiri chai & iced railway chai- both tasted very watered down and not a strong flavor. You can specify how strong you would like your drinks & this time the barista insisted the cold brew is definitely on the stronger side and I would like it. After trying it, it was both watered form but strong/bitter as if it was over steeped at the save time. Even though I had asked for it to be sweetened, all I could taste was the bitterness. My husband ordered a cappuccino but it felt more like a latte. Cappuccino is half foam , half milk, latte (meaning milk in Italian) is usually 75% milk, 25% foam. I went back up to the register, ordered another drink and asked them where should I throw my cold brew (it was 98% full and it would leak in the trash can). They took away the cold brew, rang me up for another drink, never asked why I was getting rid of my drink, was everything ok etc and simply took my drink and disposed of it. I'm not writing this because I need a complimentary drink, if I did, I would have said something while I was still at the cafe. Only posting this to let everyone else be aware of what to expect and don't be disappointed like I was, yet again.
