A fine spot. The handmade pasta was quite nice, and they make a quality White Russian as far as I’m concerned. There was nothing too brilliant here, just competently made cuisine. The price seems a touch high here compared to some other nicer downtown options, but you will definitely leave satisfied.

The restaurant offered good food. Good for a date or even famil gathering. Food was delicious l, but a but pricey. We ord the hanger steak, veal, salad, calamari, and oysters. All were good, veal was very tender.

Marvelous braised beef cheek. I was pleased and enjoyed the balance of flavours as expected of French cuisine. A hearty dish that pleased my palate. Timely service from seating to bill. A great place if you are looking for phenomenal French cuisine for any occasion.

It is a decent French restaurant. A bit expensive (reasonable for being a French restaurant). The steak is not the best. The salad quite salty. The duck confit is okay. Not my personal favorite. Took almost 30 min to wait for the dishes. No waitress refilled our water.

Really great restaurant. It was 9pm when we were looking for a restaurant and were turned away at many other restaurants. The hotel called Holders and they could accommodate us. When we walked in the doors they greeted us and were really friendly. Lori our server was so great. Really friendly and super helpful. We really enjoyed the French onion soup, it was light and very flavorful. The veal strip special was so flavorful, I loved the cauliflower and turnips. Highly recommend this restaurant for good food and even better service

To start, the ambiance and look of the restaurant are absolutely outstanding. And the service was fast and the staff were very kind and helpful. An excellent choice if you’re looking to celebrate a birthday or anniversary. We opted to share the seafood paella, which was listed as a main, and it exceeded our expectations. The server recommended a spicy twist on the classic beef tartare, which was delightful. However, the highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the chicken paté, which was extraordinary. For our main courses, we enjoyed the hanger steak, braised beef, lobster ravioli, and duck confit. Each dish was exquisite and worth trying, but the lobster ravioli stood out as my personal favorite. Holder is a must-visit in Montreal.

We found this restaurant randomly and went for Brunch. And let me tell you that their French toast is to die for . I really enjoyed every single bite and didn’t want to finish it at all. Never ever had this amazing French toast.

Fabulous dining - superb quality food in a lovely busy setting with very attentive friendly staff . Our only disappointment was we felt rushed through our 3 courses - rather than just taking our time to enjoy the top quality food .
