The Best Restaurants In Miami Springs - Miami - The Infatuation

"Even though it’s in the middle of the Miami Springs Golf & Country Club, you don’t have to be a member or know the difference between an eagle and a birdie to eat here. The bar and restaurant serves typical American dishes, like wings, hot dogs, and steaks. They have a kids menu and lasagna too, so it’s a safe bet for families who don’t want to cook on Friday night. Portions are big, the drinks are strong, and there’s live music on weekends. We’re fans of their burger. It’s big and comes with smoky bacon mayo, grilled onions, and tastes like a spiritual cousin of theHillstoneburger." - Virginia Otazo, Mariana Trabanino

Google
Really cool bar restaurant! The live entertainment on Saturday nights is what brought me here. I enjoyed the band, Silver Spine this night! As a wedding and event DJ in Miami, I really appreciate and am in tune with good hospitality, and the staff here (Howie and the server team) was kind and attentive. I didn't know they'd have Happy Hour specials (as a menu option past Happy Hour) when the Miami Dolphins or Miami Hurricanes are playing. Took advantage of the $6.50 mojitos, and $10 flatbread. Really enjoyed the overall atmosphere, decor, and very value priced menu! The Fettucine Alfredo could've had a cheesier flavor, but the burger 🍔 was perfectly cooked and tasty! I'll definitely be back!!

Google
Great Atmosphere (For Adults.. OLD adults) still had a great time every one here was Happy and having a good time. Live Band was playing good music. Service was Great, Beer was Cold, and the food was perfect.

Google
Nice place, not to crowded. The service is very good. The nachos need some cheese and guacamole. Good banana split !!

Google
Online reservation for large party, great attention to detail from management. On day of event amazing service, delicious food. Love the updated look on the country club, LOTS of TVs with every sport airing and every meal was impressive. Plus, great atmosphere felt like family, this is not a tourist spot. We will be back, thank you to management for lovely attention to detail.

Google
What an amazing experience!! I decided to put together a last minute dinner party for my Mom’s birthday and called the restaurant just a couple of weeks ago. From the very first call, the employees diligently made sure my questions were answered and connected me with the manager. Shortly after I was speaking to the owner Yannick and in less than copule of days, what was just an idea became an amazing evening!! The atmosphere, menu options, prices and the food!!! All of it followed by the attention to detail from both the owner, the event coordinator, Mercedes and our amazing waiter Danny!! A heartfelt thanks for helping put together such a wonderful night and making my mom feel so special!

Google
Golf Course was not in a good condition, that is why we choose not to play in it. The bar is big. it has a pool table. We did not stayed there for long

Google
I have been here a few times to sing karaoke and watch some live local bands. The vibes is great. It's usually an older crowd but still a lot of fun. The food for the most part is fresh and taste good. To me personally there has been some hits (chicken wings ) and misses (mac and cheese). But their lychee martini ( tree hugger -their title) is beyond yummy and strong. Their bartenders are some of the best. Place is big. Enough seating and areas to dance.and the general manager is always there and super attentive with the customers and staff.

Google
What can I say this place is amazing! Food is incredible and the atmosphere is perfect! The Live music of course before the pandemic was really great. The carrot cake is a must try! You will not be disappointed.

Yelp
We came here after practicing hitting balls on the range. We sat at the bar and Danny way our waitress. She had the entire restaurant and managed very well with a smile. What a great waitress with an amazing personality! The menus had many choices along with happy hour specials. We ordered appetizers and had a few beers on draft. Beers were served cold in a cold glass. We had the CAB sliders and the buffalo chicken sliders. Both were good choices and prepared with a lot of flavor and with fresh soft buns. The bar and restaurant is an open style with comfortable seating and one of the windows looking out to one of the greens. There are many TVs to watch whether sport is playing. Outdoor seating was also available. The noise level was perfect for conversations and parking was easy. I will definitely return to play golf and to enjoy the 19th hole.

Yelp
Hole 19 is pretty good. It has a loyal client base so there are many repeat/local customers. The service is good. The atmosphere and vibe is great. The food could be better but by all means it doesn't mean is bad. Just that it could be better. Some dishes like the churrasco are great. The wings used to be terrible but now they are great as they are cooked differently. The nachos is descent but there are some minor things like they don't slice the jalapeños thinly, instead we got 2 inch chunks of jalapeño, as if they cut each whole pepper in half or in thirds. The Philly cheesesteak is a good size, the mean was good, but they just put a little bit of cheese and nothing else, so it is very dry. I added a bit of mayo and mustard (yes, it's not traditional) but at least it was not dry. Chili was good, but they also had a beef bolognese soup with spaghetti that it was horrible. Half of the bowl was oil from the meat sauce and the entire bowl had just one 3-inch single spaghetti noodle. Needless to say, we sent that back as it was unbeatable. The drinks were also ok. With the one I think is called Green Monster was actually great. So not a bad place to go, but good enough to come back and hope you get lucky with a good meal. Again, service is good and the whole vibe is great, just wished they put a little more effort in the food.

Yelp
Came here for the first time and was disappointed. Sad to say cause I have heard wonderful things from many. The location is cute. It sets in from the road and the sunset was nice to see with all the open windows. The band was setting up. We didn't hear them, gut know them and it would have been great entertainment. Our server was nice, and made recommendations. We ordered burgers at the recommendation of our server. When they came out they looked amazing, however, the first bite the burger was cooked at such a high temperature it was cooked on the outside but rate inside. Sent it back. No issues . After 15 minutes our burgers were brought back. The same burger provided and it was now charred so bad on the outside it was like we were eating charcoal. The flavor stuck in our mouth. The server didn't know what to say. He took them away. No management apologized. Server just said you want something else? We advised no and left. We wanted to like the location and the food, but it was not the case. Giving stars for the location, ambiance, and server was friendly. Food took away the stars.

Yelp
If you love 80's music, freestyle, great food plus vibing crowd, this is the place to come on Friday night. Reserve a table, music starts about 9ish and dance floor is jamming around 10ish. Had a blast, i plan to come back! Older crowd, 35+,40's, 50's, 60's, everyone dancing to the good ole time. The food is amazingly delicious. We had appetizers: sliders, bang bang shrimp (shrimp were jumbo) ; jalapeño poppers, and the loaded potato skins, each was finger, licking good. If you like to unwind after a long work week, eat some home style comfort food, hang out and dance. This is your spot. I loved it... full bar. Beats the couch!

Yelp
First time. Place is dated back to the 80s. Food sub par. Ordered tuna tartar. Below average. Very little flavor. Fishy. Ordered the churassco. Medium. The grill is cooked on needs to be cleaned. I could taste burnt food on it. And it was a tiny size. The best thing was the side of mac n cheese. Could it have been worse? Likely. That's why I'd rate 2 stars. And they need more people to handle the tables. I felt the were understaffed. Had to keep trying to find someone to bring me water. Drinks. They'd forget. Not a good first impression.

Yelp
Hole 19 never disappoints on Saturdays. They have dancing and live bands usually playing on Saturday nights so I recommend to always make reservations ahead of time. We made them a couple weeks in advance and they gave us an amazing reserved table directly in front of the stage. Viva was playing and they are excellent. Service is great, very friendly and accommodating. The food is good but not great. Great drinks!!! Even my Pinot Grigio was fabulous. I will give 5 stars for the wonderful staff, great atmosphere and delicious drinks. Always a lot of fun and we'll definitely be back again soon.

Yelp
We frequent this restaurant at least once a month because we host meetings for our community service organization. Their service is always great for our large party and they are accommodating of our requests. Now onto the food, I've tried a variety of dishes and they are all fantastic. Their burger and salmon are yummy. In my most recent visit, I ordered the Chicken Tender salad and it was delicious. The lettuce and other toppings were fresh, the chicken tenders were seasoned very well and made in house which is a nice touch. Their ranch was also made in house and tasted great! Ambiance on weekdays is cozy and calm, there is music on but it's not blaring, which is why it makes it a perfect space for our meetings. Please give Hole 19 a try, you won't regret it!

Yelp
We came to enjoy a Freestyle night of music and decided to have dinner and what a surprise. The food was very good and the drinks were a show stopper. Only issues was that the lobster ravioli sauce could have been thickened more but the taste was great. Our server was great she keep the drinks and food coming. For an older crowd who just wants to dance people watch and enjoy great food head on to the 19th Hole. It will not let you down. We will be back.

Yelp
This place is very nice. As you walk up to the restaurant the smell of good ole food makes you hungrier. As you walk in you will be greeted by cashiers to your left. You must order your food first, they provide you a number and bring your food. There's also a bakery of fresh bake goods on the east side of the restaurant. I enjoyed the chicken and waffle called the hot drunk chick, the beer cheese tastes good, a unique flavor indeed. The eggs were bland. I needed extra syrup and was charged $2.20. They gave me way more than I needed, so most of it went to waste. If you do not have a palette that appreciates unique flavors you may not ike the place.

Yelp
I just wanted to give a shout out to Hole 19 for being amazing hosts to my sons group of graduating friends. We hosted a dinner here for about 35 people. Hole 19 did an wonderful job of letting everyone preorder and pay so we didn't have to deal with that at the end of the night. They helped us set up for the dinner and let us decorate the area earlier in the afternoon. Then when the evening came, we got delicious food and service with a smile. I am so grateful of what outstanding hosts they were. The teenage boys and all of the parents had a great time! I highly recommend this place for a fun evening out or your next private party!

Yelp
Horrible! Waited 1 1/2 for 2 kids Alfredo pasta, Salmon with Salad, and churrasco with mashed potatoes. Had an issue with the bill twice. Will never go there again!

Yelp
Food is delicious. Patrick and Yannick ensure the menu and specials of the day don't disappoint. Service is amazing. Treat customers like family. Love coming to Hole 19; Fridays and Saturdays are the best. Amazing oldies music. Kudos to DJ Sonic.

Yelp
I found Hole 19 after leaving a meeting in Downtown Miami Springs. I'm always down for a good burger and wanted to expand my repertoire from the usual restaurant in that area. Located in what looks like a redevelopment of the golf course restaurant it certainly looked promising and with a lot of potential. I love the fact it has a bunch of TVs showing a various games (mostly our Miami Heat this Friday night) It would be healthy competition for the Hialeah Flannys. They alsO had karaoke but a lot of the selections were "cortavena" aka sappy balllads (with the exception of like 2 tracks). Please, continue the redevelopment and update with a slightly livelier update. It's supposed to be a Friday HAPPY Hour.. As I mentioned, I was craving a burger. I also like mine MedIum Well; I don't like to hear the cow moo. However, that shouldn't preclude a burger from being juicy and messy.. I've been to other burger places where that is the case. Unfortunately, the patty was on the dry side here. A burger can be medium well and still be juicy.. The complementary shoestring fries that came with it were good, with just the right amount of crisp.. I asked for bbq sauce as I normally season my burgers with and theirs was neither Smokey nor sweet; it was more vinegary. I think they used steak sauce. Neither good nor bad, just something different.
google avatar

Yelp
Not your typical golf course country club food. Actually very good food. It still has the feel that the golf course treats it as 2nd to the course. One bartender that doubles as a waitress for bar, dining room and outdoor seating. This equals slow service. Happy hour is $2.50 draft beer. Parking is abundant and very easy to get in and out. You are surrounded by the golf course with outside eating. I would definitely go back, the onion rings are very good.

Gina L.

Yelp
Ok. so here is the deal located in the Miami Springs golf course. And HOLY COW , I grew up in the restaurant industry restaurant and I can tell you coming from an Italian family this food is AMAZING ! We started with mussels which were so fresh served with crispy, hot, crunchy bread to soak up the amazing sauce they were nestled, in. I seriously would have taken the rest home to eat as soup! However , we moved onto a Mahi Reuben grilled to perfection and a cheeseburger that go up against the best toast sesame bun. There was the option to have a fake mail. However, I have to just say this burger was phenomenal. Both entrées were served with crispy french fries and Yannick was amazing. The menus been revamped. They have a nightlife Wednesday evening karaoke Thursday, poker Friday and Saturday music. All in all this little gem is a great place.

Yelp
We had the best St. Patrick's here! It's Miami's little secret enclave and the music from the Live band was great! Did I mention the food and my bar Maids were beyond amazing!

Peter S.

Yelp
Stopped in for driving range practice after work and then a beer. Great service at the bar with Alexandra and good conversation with some of the regulars. They suggested the burger, it was fantastic and I asked for extra crispy sweet potato fries. Fries were great! Very sweet so maybe too much for some but really good to me.

Yelp
A hidden gem! We come here all the time. The food is delicious & the drinks are actually affordable unlike most places in Miami. They have karaoke nights & live bands too.

Yelp
When my cousins invited me to their joint birthday celebration at the Miami Springs Country Club, I had that pre-conceived notion of an atmosphere of raised pinkies and upturned noses since we weren't members. However, nothing could be further from the truth. On arrival at Hole 19, the club's restaurant/bar, we were greeted very warmly as though we were members! We had a server named Sue who was very friendly, attentive and professional. When several couples in our large party wanted separate checks, she cheerfully set them up without any hesitation or side eye. For apps, we had the very crisp and tasty chicken wings, and the largest onion rings I've ever laid eyes on. A little heavy on the batter, but the onions were fresh and the scratch horsey sauce was a nice touch. On this evening, they offered a special on steak. For $35, I got a perfectly cooked, juicy 12 oz. certified angus beef strip steak, a nice-sized Caesar salad, a generously loaded baked potato, and a 16 oz. Bud Light. Call brand mixed drinks were well prepared and reasonably priced. The demographic on this night skewed a little older, but everyone was having a great time listening and dancing to legendary South Florida band Iko-Iko. Also, there are 15 TV's that I could see, so everyone was able to watch the UM-FIU game during our stay. There is ample free parking available in the median section of Curtiss Parkway (NW 57 AV) as well. My only critiques are: numerous times, the TV's lost their signal and went black for long periods, diminishing our game watching experience. Also, later I checked Hole 19's website and saw that they offered $30 unlimited beer & wings during UM games. This was not offered to us, and it's something I'd of been interested in. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised and satisfied with this hidden gem.

Yelp
I play golf every Saturday at the course and usually stop by for a beer. Service has always been ok. Today I took my son to play and he was hungry by hole #6 so I called the number on their site to place an order. No one answered. I called the pro shop to transfer me and no one answered after I was transferred. When I finally got to the turn I went in to place an order and was told that they do not take phone orders and that no one had called ?¿ I then ordered some kids chicken fingers and she told me she could not sell them to me because I was an adult. As I pointed to my child next to me she finally took the order. This place is confused with wanting to be a high end restaurant and what it should be a sports bar at a golf course.

Anna M.

Yelp
Providing one star because negative stars are not available. Horrible service for a large party we had, and at the end no one knew who's tab was whose. Absolute cluster!!! Never, ever, choose this place for a large group party.

Demi Jenel R.

Yelp
I've gone here before and always enjoyed their food. It's been a little over a year since I've been here. Their food has changed. In my opinion, not as good as before. I had the winter in Miami cocktail. It's very sweet, but good. Food was okay. Nothing out of this world... Wouldve been better with ranch. However, I asked for ranch and the waitress told me they don't have... who doesn't have ranch? Overall, it was average. Not the worst, not the best.
google avatar

Jason A.

Yelp
This was our third time there and every time the food was phenomenal and tonight we met the owner Patrick, and his son who is the manager of the bar. We sang karaoke, had a great dinner, and tried phenomenal new drinks they are introducing. Everyone was very fun and inclusive and you will have a wonderful experience in every way!
google avatar

Christopher M.

Yelp
Love this place. Simple but deliberately considered and freshly prepared cuisine. Very far above the average fare for "bar food" which this place is in name and appearance only. Familiar items that definitely are not served the way one might expect at a municipal golf course bar. "Sports bars" could take notes on the value of really good food. That this place is a go to for locals in a city with as many options as there are in Miami is testament to Miami Springs FINALLY getting good food/beverage management in here. Props!!
google avatar

Oliver G.

Yelp
As a person that eats out a ton visiting hole 19 was such a refreshing take on sports bar food at a golf course. Not only for its amazing atmosphere such as the views and an intuitive way to watch the formidable amount of tv's but most importantly the food! The food absolutely blew me away with a farm to table style that has many unique twists and turns like the the thai sweet chili tahini sauce on brined wings were extremely elevated with homemade attitude.
google avatar

Steve T.

Yelp
Sometimes gourmet becomes too over the top to be really good. This was planned as an update but turned into a new review. Second time around at Hole 19 not so wonderful. The music was so loud we couldn't even communicate with the wait staff. This time we all ordered the burger. Big mistake. This was the worst burger I have ever eaten in my life and even the shoestring fries were tasteless. This burger might have been good with regular condiments, lettuce, tomato, onion slice and american cheese. The weird choice of toppings on this burger killed it and made it taste terrible. We were extremely disappointed. If you go, note that the menu on line is not what you will be offered. The menu is very limited.

Yelp
Amazing place, ambiance was incredible, staff was outstanding. Really enjoyed my experience, food and view were outstanding as well !!

Yelp
A few days ago I went to Hole 19 because I saw that it had a 4 star rating and the pictures of the restaurant on their website looked good. I also like to eat at local restaurants as I am a resident of the Springs. The first thing that hits you as you walk in is the smell of smoke that permeates the dining area. Probably because everyone is smoking right near the entrance. The table where I sat was cracked on the top, not nice like the ones in the photos. There were two servers and one bartender to serve about 30 people so it was slow. We ordered fried chicken and tile fish and the chicken was so full of lemon that my wife could not eat it and the tile fish was old and spoiled and I would not eat it. I realize this is a sports bar restaurant at an old golf course, but don't give this place 4 stars. You definitely would not find this at the Biltmore or Mel Reese for that matter.

Barbara M.

Yelp
This place had the best food. The Shroom Boom flatbread was great. We followed it with the roast chicken with pan gravy and mashed potatoes. Absolutely delicious. They had great draft beers as well. Special shout out to our waitress Ali who was personable and efficient.

Carla V.

Yelp
This is my favorite local place in Miami Springs! The food is excellent and diverse. It has a hometown feel that is laid back. There is always good music , live bands on Saturdays, Karaoke on Friday's and great ambience. The General Manager, Yannick is attentive to every customer and makes sure to check on everyone's needs. I recommend this place highly!

Romeo M.

Yelp
Great for Friday night-Saturday night sports bar/ live band music. You cannot help but have fun. The food is high quality, upscale bar food. My absolute favorite is the Mahi Reuben. I treat myself to one every chance I get. Laid back ambiance. Clean, lively, and mouthwatering.

Carol F.

Yelp
In the post-quarantine urge to get out a bit, several friends and I went to Hole 19 as it has a covered outdoor patio. We let the management know ahead of time and he was very accommodating to give us several reserved tables so we could socially distance as well as visit each other. Service was OK, as was the food, but the highlight (enjoyed by several of us) was the onion rings. The portion was huge, crispy and made with thick juicy slices of onion. This dish was accompanied by a very mild horseradish sauce (yep, needs more zip!). In general the menu was a cut above regular bar food, with some unusual twists, i.e. pickled giardeniere vegetables on nachos, jalapenos on a hot dog. This venue is fairly new to the area, and with some menu adjustments shows great promise.

Ana R.

Yelp
Came with a few friends to have some beer and food. Was recommended by a friend. Really yummy sauce on the wings. Brussel sprouts were so great like a tangy flavor. and artichoke spinach dip was sooooo goood. Pretty wide variety of vegetarian options which is fantastic !! Definitely will be back.
