My 1st z time here was this morning 6-9-24 VERY DISAPPOINTED!! When you Charge $15 for 6 Donuts and I Even asked the Girl as she was stacking them in like that if they were going to get stuck together and she said NO.. I Spent $30 for a Dozen of your Donuts to find these Chocolate ones completely Destroyed.. Frosted Donuts Especially at these prices should be Boxed Face Up in bigger boxes. Please Message me as I Would like a Refund of $15 for the Destroyed Chocolate Donuts.. To anyone wanting Frosted Donuts .. Do Not Allow them to box them up like this..

Long lines of wait during summer here. Had my expectations high for this donut place but it was good but not wow and the prices are on the higher side.

Google
Maybe I went in with too high expectations, but really not anything that blows you away. There was a huge line at 9 am way out the door. They were out of glazed donuts at 9 am. Didn’t feel super “hand made,” comparable to what you would buy at dunkin donuts.

Cute little shop for beverages and sweets is a fun stop. Expect it to be busy in the morning. Parking is free out front. Restroom available.

I've been coming here for decades and have always enjoyed the muffins and coffee. My last three visits have not been very good. The muffins and donuts have been very dry and not very good at all. Today I got a blueberry muffin with three blueberries in it. It had zero flavor. I expect more for $12 for one muffin 2 donuts and a med coffee.

Go to Chocolate Cafe instead!! First visit: I was excited to try Hole in One today and it was just okay. We waited around 20 minutes in line around 11:45 am. Asiago bagels with jalapeño cream cheese were great. My (decaf) iced coffee was good and a scoop of caramel cream made it extra tasty. The chocolate glazed donut we got was pretty gross. My husband compared it to biting an old cushion at a Cape Cod cottage. Second visit: There was already a line at 8 am but it went quick. Donuts, coffee and service are subpar. This place is overhyped and pricey ($23 for an half dozen donuts and two coffees). Also, the prices aren’t posted online, in-restaurant, or on receipts (??). I wouldn’t revisit unless it was for a bagel only.

My experience here was great! The ladies at the front counter were attentive, quick, and very sweet. The donuts were delicious. We got sour cream and strawberry frosted. I also grabbed a latte and a cold brew. The coffees were made quickly, yet tasted great and not too watered down like other places I’ve been. Also shout out to the other customer that helped me at my car with holding my coffees as I had my hands full with my infant. Great customer service, fellow patrons were nice and kind, treats and coffee were awesome! Got there at 7:15 before crowds, after that, there was a line starting outside! Highly recommend the stop!

For eight years, my wife and I have been ordering the exact same order, a Mega Mocha Iced Coffee, and until recently, there has been no problem. For some reason, the last five orders we've received the worker has tried to put espresso in them, despite our explicitly telling them it gives her migraines. This most recent visit, the girl not only put espresso in it, but when corrected on the order, dumped the espresso and used the same cup to add coffee leaving a small amount of espresso still within the cup, cross contaminating the drink. We will not be returning after this.

Yelp
A throwback! The donuts that a so hard to find anymore. I was so happy to wait in the line and finally get inside to see the throwback donuts on the shelves. Then, to get home and finally taste them, it was worth every second I waited. I wish there were more places like Hole in One! 95% of the donuts sold today are not anything like the real doughnuts that were sold years ago.....unfortunately! I ordered 9 doughnuts total......2 glazed, 2 jelly, 2 blueberry, 1 cinnamon, 2 chocolate covered....WOW! This place is incredible! Three places that I compare it too....two are gone and one is still open.... Adams Bakery, Bridgton, Maine....closed many years ago...but use to make incredible doughnuts! Doughnut Kitchen- Woburn, Mass....closed many years ago....but use to make incredible doughnuts that so many people miss! Nantucket Bake Shop- still open and still pumping out great doughnuts today Hole in One is in this top rated class! I will be back....for sure....thanks for making my day! -Plenty of parking -The line is long but worth it -Price was worth every penny -Service (once inside) was awesome! If I could give 6 stars....I would! Thanks

Kayla K.

Yelp
Amazing fresh donuts. The ladies working there were excellent and were super efficient! The kombucha on tap (apple sage) was excellent and paired extremely well with their cinnamon sugar doughnut. Felt like fall in a breakfast! Will absolutely be back to try some of their savory breakfast options :)

Chris M.

Yelp
Really wanted to like this place. I was looking for a good breakfast sandwich- sausage egg and cheese on a bagel. Found this place on yelp and it said they had them and donuts for the kids. After waiting in a very very long line outside for about 45 mins I was told I need to go next door to get breakfast sandwiches!!??? I had to wait in yet another line and then wait for my bagel sandwiches which were $10 each- ouch! The donuts were actually cheap but this evened it out. I was there for well over an hour just to get a donut, a muffin and two breakfast sandwiches. Not worth it! Not sure why all the reviews don't mention this but you CAN'T GET BREAKFAST SANDWICHES AT THIS PLACE - go next door to the fairway which also offers call ahead. Very very frustrating! Also the staff in both places seemed confused and discombobulated. As for the food yes the donut was good but not worth the wait. It had also been crushed by the muffin in the bag since the employee hadn't put the muffin in first. The breakfast sandwiches were sloppily made, sausage was burnt, not very tasty and well I guess I should post that on the place next door... My suggestion would be to skip this place

Yelp
My goodness they say New Yorkers are rude but I actually think Massachusetts takes the cake. The coffee and food was good, solid donuts but the service was BLEGH. The Airbnb was less than a mile away, so I actually visited this bakery three times assuming that I just got them on a bad day at a bad time but no. Not friendly whatsoever and when I asked what the donut was because I couldn't see the sign I was met with a heavy sigh. Dude I'm sorry I sympathize with you but it's a donut shop and I'm short. Help me out here.

Jacqueline M.

Yelp
Donuts are massive and so delicious! The service was friendly and quick. We went back 3 times during our stay. Also the only place I could find that did Iced Decaf Coffee!

Jeff M.

Yelp
Be careful going to the Hole in one. The food is great and you'll leave with way more than you planned!!!! Worth the line, which moves very quickly because the service is usually great. I had one bad experience with a server who rolled her eyes at me as I kept adding to my order, but over the years that was the only negative experience.

Faithe T.

Yelp
We were excited to find a place that wasn't a chain, per se. Hole in one has amazing donuts, the coffee is better than Starbucks, and the atmosphere was calm even with all the people waiting in life. The donuts were HUGE. The shop in Orleans had a full breakfast offering, while Eastham just had donuts and pre-made food. It's worth a trip to try it out.

Pat B.

Yelp
Stopped here this morning with friends. Three of us got donuts, one person got a bagel and I added a pistachio muffin to our cider donut order thinking my donut might not be "enough"! Well folks, their donuts are large and scrumptious! Mmmmm! Saved the muffin for breakfast tomorrow. This place is cute, the line moved quickly with two registers going and we will bookmark this spot so we can return.

Mark B.

Yelp
With the long lines out the door, I've avoided this place for years, but ventured in on a quiet off-season morning. Wish I never tried their donuts..they're that good! Freshly baked, a wide variety of flavors, and they're huge. And another surprise--the bagels are awesome, too.

Feargal O.

Yelp
Place looked nice but couldn't tell you how the coffee is as I waited about 7 minutes while the four people working there chatted amongst themselves. Decided to just leave and go to Dunkin as at least they will serve you there.

Katrina P.

Yelp
Hole in one is my favorite coffee shop, I swear I'll drive all over the cape for it. Esp the eastham location, the staff is always so friendly and the donuts and coconut cold brew are to die for(not to be dramatic). as a coffee and sweets girl, the quality of the bakery items are elite.

Hannah M.

Yelp
Delicious coffee, donuts, and croissants, super friendly service, appreciate the access from side roads instead of Rt 6!

Annie S.

Yelp
Make sure you get here early on the weekends as there is a long line! I ordered a number of things, and my favorites all ended up being the non-donut options. I will return as my favorite options listed below were far beyond the average. They have so many things to choose from like donuts, bagels, soup, breads, pastries, etc. Samples of muffins and donuts were even out. My favorites: - Bacon, egg and cheese croissant: This isn't the typical breakfast sandwich, it comes already stuffed in the croissant and they can heat it up for you. It is delicious and the croissant is extra buttery. I ordered this because I read other Yelp reviewers that liked it, and I would get this again. -Eclair: I LOVE eclairs and get them any chance I get. This was one of the best I've had and each bite tasted like there was sugar on it. The amount of filling was perfect. - Sugar muffin: This was unique and delicious. Almost like a cinnamon roll without the icing, but better? You know how sometimes only the inside of the cinnamon roll is the best part? The whole thing was delicious. It was not dry at all and was packed with flavor. We also got: -Toasted coconut donut -Chocolate coconut donut -Cinnabon cold brew coffee: You really need to stir it together as they put the cinnabon cream on top. It is full of flavor. Seating - There is limited seating and it is all outdoors. Parking - There is a huge parking lot, no need to worry.

Yelp
Great bakery ! Stopped hear while checking out the town in Massachusetts! Got some pecan and shortbread slices which were amazing as well as a berry chocolate twist ! Amazing pastry's and great prices as well ! Definitely will be back

Brian M.

Yelp
Good quality donuts that are HUGE and also shockingly inexpensive. The long line moves fast and the staff is really friendly and efficient. I would come back the next time I'm in Cape Cod for another apple fritter as big as my face. :)

Salvatore C.

Yelp
This is a MUST stop on every trip we take to our house in Eastham. They have the most delicious gluten free muffins, and we don't even have a gluten problem!!! The manager & staff are always friendly & accomodating. We always order some to take back to CT with us. This time they misplaced our order, but actually baked up a whole new batch for us. When I came back to pick it up, they had found the original and so they gave me a double order!!! Now that's customer service.

Sarah Y.

Yelp
We stopped in while vacationing in Cape Cod to pick up pastries for the house. We had a bit of an awkward moment as some folks were waiting to be seated for dine in and others to order things to go and the employees were not offering any direction as how to line up. Ultimately, we everyone got sorted out and I asked the employee to assort me two dozen donuts, which she happily did for us. The breakfast treats were a hit for the whole family and enjoyed throughly over the next few days. If we were to come back to Cape Cod we would return!

Brenda K.

Yelp
Came to the one in Yarmouth today. horrible coffee no espresso just milk and sugar and donuts were not fresh, they advertise fresh donuts I was expecting Krispy Kreme and got Dunkin' Donuts quality

Scott K.

Yelp
Best breakfast spot up the Cape. Delicious sandwiches, donuts, and coffee. Get there early in the summer months.

Skylar L.

Yelp
Make sure you go early enough so they aren't sold out & to avoid the extremely long line (though it does go by quick)

Robin H.

Yelp
Great service with a smile, fabulous, quality old fashioned yummy donuts! Start early to get your favorites!

Peter S.

Yelp
Delicious, and good prices! We had a donut, bagel, and muffin. All were excellent! Hope to visit again.

Rebecca H.

Yelp
Although I did not try any of their beverages (I wish I had now!), Hole In One's bakery treats are DELICIOUS. I ordered a vegan blueberry lemon scone and it was packed with flavor. Perfect yin and yang of fresh blueberries baked in the scone along with the lemon glaze, it added the perfect amount of sweetness to tie it all together. I also ordered the sugar bun by a raving fan who left a review here. They were NOT wrong. It was so satisfying. It reminded me of a homemade Cinnabon roll without as much cinnamon and a whole lotta sugar on the outside. I do have to add, I thought they were going to have speciality donuts available (that s'more donut I saw on Yelp looked *insert drool emoji here*). Nonetheless, I was happy with my experience and would certainly come back if I was in the area.

Holly R.

Yelp
By far, hands down, the best breakfast on the Cape. I discovered this place from a random Yelp search and was skeptical at first. But their coffee is incredible (not bitter at all, plenty of flavors and milk options), their donuts are fresh and worth their value, their donuts are flavorful and just the right size. And they have a variety of pastries. Just remember to get there early because they run out fast (people know they're great). I recommend a pumpkin latte, Asiago bagel with jalapeño cheddar cream cheese, the sour cream donut, any stuffed croissant, and the blueberry corn muffin. But really anything is delicious so you can't go wrong! Last thought - their staff is so friendly and patient.

Brandon N.

Yelp
Delicious breakfast food for amazing prices! Everything tasted fresh and just like mom made it in the kitchen. The only thing keeping it from a perfect score was the baked goods in the late morning when I got there were hard and not good. I assume fresh in the early morning would be better.

Denise K.

Yelp
Sooooo happy new owners kept things like they were. We had some pastries and doughnuts and absolutely delicious Great food great service

Erin F.

Yelp
"Exactly what a coffee shop should be," was the recommendation of the hotel front desk and that's a PERFECT description. Not pretentious at all... this isn't a hipster espresso bar artisan latte kind of place (even though I love those so much!) it is a friendly, fast, familiar, easy grab and go (or grab and eat at their cute counter) with hot and iced coffee, cold brew, pretty pastries (including gluten free options) donuts and bagels. We ordered 2 bacon, egg and cheese croissants heated, 3 donuts and 2 iced mochas and it only came to $25. What?! Delightful deal. Just so you know, the iced mocha is an iced coffee made with chocolate milk and Hershey syrup. ;) IYKYK but it really hit the spot! Tasty and fun food with kind and zippy service. Just right.

Kevin L.

Yelp
The Most friendly funny outgoing Staff I've ever met at a coffee shop. The variety was over the moon everything was delicious. I loved how the locals interacted with the staff and although I was a tourist they made me feel right at home. Good value for the money

Ashley C.

Yelp
I think this place has the best donuts I've ever had. A must visit if you are in the cape. Expect a LONG line, but it moves fairly quickly. The breakfast croissants are super tasty too!

Heather W.

Yelp
We went to this place twice over the weekend, wanting a snack vs a meal. Only one party/ person goes in at a time, so the line could look long, but it goes by fast. COVID tip: The really cool and fancy donuts on the web? Donut holes? Nope! Think basic choices and you will be fine- glazed, jelly (raspberry), powdered, chocolate frosted, apple fritter, cruller , Boston Creme, and maybe a regular or chocolate coconut (crunch) donut will appear. Coffee: no frozen coffee-, but hot, iced, and espresso drinks are on. OAT milk is the alternative for steamed drinks here. Request: Dear donut folks, please use strawless lids for you plastic to go cups.

Rebecca L.

Yelp
Cute bakery with amazing homemade donuts at a great price. My husband and I loved this donut shop so much we stopped by every morning for breakfast during our Cape Cod vacation. The plain glazed donut was perfect and kept us coming back. Reviews of individual donuts below: Glazed Donut: 5/5 Toasted Coconut: 4.5/5 Powdered Cream: 4.5/5 Chocolate Glazed: 4/5 Apple Cider: 4/5 So happy to have found this spot in Eastham, if you're a donut lover, add this place to your list!

Fahim R.

Yelp
Came here to pickup breakfast for the family during a long holiday weekend. I arrived at 6:15am and there was already a line out the door. I quickly found out why. The spinach feta croissant might be the best croissant I've had in my life. The chocolate chip muffin and chocolate croissant were also very good.

Brittney W.

Yelp
Cute little place! Quick service. The doughnuts and coffee were also good. When we got there, the line was out the door but they moved us through quickly.

Isabelle L.

Yelp
We are here in two consecutive days. I'm ok with their blueberry muffin, which seems to be popular among other posts. They are too sweet to me! Personal preference. I usually enjoy muffins with blueberries being first ingredient and not sugar. Andrew seems to enjoy croissant with ham and eggs. Lemonade is amazing!!!

Brandi S.

Yelp
Don't be misled by the line, if there is one. It moves very fast. Savory croissants are delicious. The doughnuts are delicious... so much so that I think the plain ones are the best I've had in a while.

Danielle B.

Yelp
My absolute favorite bakery and coffee shop I've ever been to. The donuts, pastries, and coffee are all outstanding and the staff is amazing. My family has been going here for decades because we all love it so much. It's always the first place we stop when we're on the Cape. Just went last week and I already miss their food and coffee. Only wish I had one near me!

Amanda M.

Yelp
Got an iced mocha latte and a bagel here, both were really good! Unfortunately they don't let you sit inside and they have very limited outdoor seating.

Phoebe R.

Yelp
I wasn't expecting a donut shop to have any gluten-free options and was pleasantly surprised. I only regret not buying more of the gf blueberry lemon muffins as they were so moist and good! The blueberry lemon scone was also great and not heavy and dense like most scones. People were raving about the homemade granola too.

Bonnie G.

Yelp
Five stars for three things here: - the iced hazelnut coffee on a hot summer day - the hot, buttery, fluffy bacon-egg-and-cheese croissant - the glazed donut All the other donuts are eh: they all oddly taste the same, whether you get jelly donuts, chocolate glazed etc. They all taste flowery, like lavender. Despite that, would def come back for the three above!

Matt S.

Yelp
Love coming here! Fantastic doughnuts and coffee. Usually a line outside only because it's small outside and it goes fast

Iris Z.

Yelp
We came here for 3 days in a row and had their chai, coffee, lemon blueberry scone, eclair, Boston creme donut, jelly donut, and blueberry donut. Of the 7 things we tried, the coffee, scone and jelly donut were the best. Overall, everything is too sweet. The donuts are okay, but I was hoping for them to be more fluffy and yeasty. The hot coffee was good every single time. Their chai was flavorless, and seemed like it came from a concentrate. I knew I wasn't going to be getting any masala chai, but was just hoping for it to have some spice in it. Having had many many local donut places at many other beaches and in DC, I can't say the pastries and donuts compare. I think maybe our expectations were a little high from the reviews.

Denise B.

Yelp
Best chocolate chip cookie and ice coffee ever. Broke all dietary rules to savor every bite.

Tricia D.

Yelp
I am a donut snob. Whenever I visit somewhere I find the "best" donut spot. When i looked for one in Eastham, Mass the first on the list was Hole in One. We set our alarms on the first full day of our vacation for 5:30am. We pulled up and saw a line about 40 deep - this was a good sign! After waiting in line for well over 30 minutes, I soon discovered that good things do not always come to those who wait. The Apple fritter was certainly made yesterday and it seemed the donuts were as well. You would think that if you show up at 6am for donuts they are going to be fresh-especially on a Sunday during 4th of July weekend on Cape Cod. We sadly will not be returning. I will say that the staff was lovely and very friendly but that did not make up for the sub par donuts at hole in one.

CC Lobstah B.

Yelp
Legit best craft donut on cape with killer cold brew as well - dont waste your time going anywhere else

Kate B.

Yelp
Every experience here is sweet. Although there is always a line out the door for donuts I am always willing to wait. Not to mention the restaurant next door has amazing pizza which they do not skimp out on topping or give you a grease ball like Red Barn does. They have a variety of muffins and other sweet treats as well! I go back here every summer and can't wait to be back this summer!

Ben D.

Yelp
Maybe the best bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich I've ever had. Doughnuts are great too, and they give away free doughnut holes in the am. Fast and friendly service. A+

Christianna L.

Yelp
I'm always wary of hype, but this place lives up to it, in my opinion. Coffee is good, donuts are amazing. Totally worth the carbs. Start with the plain glazed donuts as a good benchmark of their quality, then go from there. I tried a cream and jelly and both were equally yummy. Our latest brunch order was the Mulligan Benedict and potato pancakes. Both were delicious, but I forgot that the potato pancakes come out more like thick hash browns and don't include sour cream or applesauce, which is a miss in my book. Their corned beef hash however, is an all season winner. It's made with slow cooked beef, not just potatoes and mush. I'm not a fan of normal hash, but this stuff is the real deal. Both locations are amazing, well kept, and delicious. As with most places on the Cape, the lines can be insane during peak seasons, but the commitment.

Michelle B.

Yelp
Great baked items especially when bakery items are fresh- long lines are worth the wait especially when items are baked fresh each day

Michael James M.

Yelp
This place is great to start your morning! With delicious muffins and donuts. This place makes you want to come back everyday. Love going when I'm i On cape cod.
