Google
Holeman & Finch bottle shop was a perfect store for what I was looking for. I was going to a party and I didn’t know what to get so I decided to buy three bottles of different kinds of sake. The birthday boy definitely enjoyed the sake, and I was very happy with my purchase at the store. The staff was super nice and was also very helpful. The store layout showed all different types of alcohol. So you had so much to choose from, as well as they had gift bags and more. Definitely give this little shop a try if you’re looking for a quick gift or even a drink for yourself. Support Atlanta Local businesses.

The wine is great. Most people who work here are great. However, there was an old red head who works there that was rude to me the second I walked in the door today. It was probably the most judgemental and rude customer service I’ve ever received in my life. This was only my second time shopping here and I will not be coming back because of her attitude alone. Be kind.

Google
Went in for some White Burgundy and a wine opener for a last minute party. They said they were out of wine openers and directed me to Richard’s Variety Store in the same shopping center that had them. So why didn’t the bone heads go buy some so their customers don’t have to make two stops?! I headed over to Sherlock’s Wine Merchants for some smart wine and smarter employees. Stupid is what stupid does.

Google
Best liquor store/bottle shop I’ve been to. Friendly and helpful staff. You can’t go wrong with what they have on their shelves. Nothing is well or low quality. It is very cozy inside with lots of very nice high end gifts - glasses, jiggers, shakers, bottle openers, flasks, etc.

Google
An employee by the name of Ryan was extremely helpful, he took about 20 minutes of his time to talk with me about various bourbons, vermouth, rye, and a host of other topics. This place has a great selection of good, quality items. While they might not have the same inventory size as say Greens, they make up for it with service and items that would be very difficult to find anywhere else. This place is a must for those that enjoy their drink!

Google
Awesome store, selection, and staff. They have brands that are hard to find elsewhere and it’s great to see some local brands represented other than the run of the mill options. 10/10

Google
This is a great local spot to get some rare and common liquors and wines, and things in between. The beer selection is very small, but unique. Some things are priced too high, but worthy of the service given. Also they will order just about anything they don't have.

Jeff Leavitt

Google
Customer service was excellent. Is a specialty liquor and wine store that only had higher end liquor and no flavored liquors, like jack daniels honey whiskey. The lady behind the counter was nice enough to offer to order it but was only in town for dragon con weekend.

Yelp
I found the cutest little bottle shop with some amazing drinks. They offer tastings, events, classes and so much more. I received a warm greeting and help to choose the best red and white wine. This little spot is tucked away in charm!

Yelp
Nice little shop. Limited selection, but prices are a bit high. Probably because it is a small boutique style store. The employees were very friendly and helpful.

Yelp
As you already know, I am a huge fan of Linton Hopkins and Co. I have heard that he has a bottle shop, and after all these years, I finally decided to check it out one day. I did sign up for their email (I think it is published bi weekly, at least that is what it feels like)- and saw they had some real gems. The email is slated for the "HF Whiskey Society". With that being said, expect to see a lot of great single barrel store picks and other finds you won't see everyday. Located in the heart of the Peachtree Battle Shopping Center, I really like exterior, and interior. It is dark inside, and can be a little tight, so be careful not to knock anything over! I came in here one night just to peruse and see what was what, I bought a bottle or two. I noticed they have some harder to find stuff, but also, some things- well they are priced to match, well, you know, the neighborhood (IE- a 10 yr McKenna BiB was $68 there, I can get it in Lilburn for $53). So, keep that in mind. That same night, I was looking for something I saw in the email (Eagle Rare 10 yr), so I asked- but they were already sold out. They did ask however if I wanted Weller Special Reserve (they had 1L for 42$). I hadn't actually seen it before- so I told em wth, why not. So, at least I didn't leave empty handed! I came back when the next email came out- showcasing some nice single barrel store picks- so I decided to get three. One of them, which was an ASW Duality (local distillery) Good Food Works pick, which profits proceeded to help ending local hunger- so I thought that was a cool cause. The store is loaded with nice finds, tons of mixers, and also wine and beer as well. But for me, I just keep it to the section of bourbon on the left wall, and to the cash register. The staff has been pretty friendly both times so no complaints there. Whenever I am in town, I will be sure to come by to see if they have any more hidden surprises!

Yelp
This store has so much personality. I much prefer it to typical "liquor stores". The staff is friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable about wines. They also have some great deals on wine if you can catch them.

Ellis D.

Yelp
Good selection of unique spirits, wine, and cordials. Friendly and knowledgeable staff.

Yelp
Spectacular selection of amaro, gin, and specialty canned drinks. Super helpful staff. We're from out of town and they made us feel right at home. Love this place

Yelp
Love a fancy wine shop option in the heart of Buckhead! Double plus that this one also sells liquor! (seriously, southerners, what are y'all doing selling beer and wine separate from liquor 90% of the time) The liquor and most of the wine is on the more upscale side of things. Not somewhere to stock up for a pregame with friends, but if you're looking for a way to build up a respectable home bar, look no further. Their 6 for $60 deal can't be beat if you're into wine, and the service is always super friendly.

Yelp
Still one of the best--but not the cheapest--places in town to find premium whiskies, liquors and mixers. Fairly knowledgeable staff on most scotches and whiskies (bourbons, Irish, etc.). Be sure to sign up for their email list to get updates on the newest and rarest additions to their shop. Those rare ones don't last long due to the strong following of loyal customers.

Yelp
Phenomenal bottle shop.I've shopped here twice looking for Scotch Whisky, and both times I've left with bottles I haven't seen anywhere else that have expanded my knowledge and appreciation of the bon vivant. I would say, though, that while some of their prices are excellent, some others are obscenely high. For example, $90 for a bottle of Ardbeg 10, which is widely available at half that price, or $122 for a bottle of Lagavulin 16, which generally costs somewhere in the $80-$90 range. These are common bottles that can be purchased in most stores with a decent selection of whisky. Why are they so ridiculously priced here? Meanwhile, prices for other harder-to-find Scotch, like the Glengoyne 10 I picked up, was $55. That's a great price for almost any single-malt Scotch, and considering I didn't even expect to happen upon Glengoyne which I've been looking for for while, a great deal. All of which is to say, more broadly, that you can tell the selection is thoughtfully and deliberately curated. I'm a pretty task-oriented shopper, but this is one place I need to spend some more time just browsing and see what else I can stumble upon. But beware of prices for commonly-found brands!

Yelp
Just a couple quick notes- My mom and I went in this week to see if the gift cards from the H&F Bottle Shop were also good at H&F (a special friend is turning 50 next week and we were trying to decide how to fete him) - duly noted, gift cards are sold separately at each location. Also, I was remiss not to elaborate on the great selection of bar tools, accessories, etc that they have in stock. Perfect for gift-giving, hostess-type presents, etc. From adorable (seriously- they really are) ice cube trays, to cocktail picks, to a great cutting board I have my eye on (it even has the H&F logo!!)...something in all price ranges and tastes. And did I mention what a chic, pretty little place it is?! Or that they have liquor now, too?! Great place.

Yelp
What with all the hype around every other outpost in the Linton Hopkins empire (Holeman & Finch, Restaurant Eugene, etc.), I'm surprised his wine shop has yet to be reviewed. H&F Bottle Shop, located in the Peachtree Battle shopping center, doesn't have a huge inventory like some other purveyors perhaps but their selection is very thoughtful and accommodating to all budgets. I've been twice now in the past month and been very satisfied with both purchases. Ashley, the wine concierge, couldn't be more helpful in pairing wines with menus. A nice selection of bitters and all manners of cocktail accessories are on offer, though their license to sell spirits is still not finalized. Once that is done, I expect H&F to be a go-to spot for all my imbibing needs.

Yelp
I'm a fan of the Holeman & Finch empire, especially with their bread, so I was curious to see what was in the H&F Bottle Shop. The store is very organized with a teeny bit of an old world feel. You'll still be able to buy some vodka standards, but I guess what makes this place so different is that they carry some things that are a little more difficult to come by. My boyfriend, for example, wanted to see if the bottle shop sold Blackberry Farm brews after we visited the actual Blackberry Farm nearly a year ago. He had just noticed on his last visit to the H&F pub, that they were serving Blackberry Farm cheese, so it made sense. Unfortunately, the bottle shop was out of it. We also thought maybe this Bottle Shop would carry some H&F's popcorn. They don't. There's some kind of law that they can't sell food in their liquor store, so we went on our happy way to the H&F Bread shop to acquire their bacon caramel popcorn. I'd definitely recommend going to the H&F Bottle Shop for something interesting and out of the ordinary. It's certainly not overwhelming like other big liquor stores.

Yelp
Visiting the bestie in ATL, we stopped in to H&F Bottle Shop while we were waiting for our buzzer to ring for brunch next door at 'Another Broken Egg'. This is totally the cutest little boutique wine shop in the middle of a strip mall (as apparently everything good in the ATL is). Great selection of wines from around the world (and in all price ranges, holler!), bar tools, picnic swag, etc. Very helpful staff, knowledgeable and approachable. My friend and I are by no means winos, and we literally told the guy "I like super dry reds, and she likes fuller tastes, help us!" and he came out with our perfect "compromise wine"...which made for the perfect girl talk evening that night! If I were a local, I would for sure come back. And Tip, the more affordable stuff is in the wooden crates in the center of the store!!

Yelp
Walked here from Shepherd Center and opted against contrasting it against local supermarket Mix & Match selection & prices, but enjoyed the selection I made. The young staffer is clearly asked about wine and liquor more often, which makes sense given beer is just the very back corner of the stored. RE: H&F, Assumed it was Holeman & Finch-affiliated, especially given the proximity and the domain of their e-list.

Yelp
Killer selection of bourbons and whiskeys and a very knowledgeable staff. Truly a treasure for the neighborhood.

Yelp
Do you ever want to run through a shop like Veruca Salt of Willy Wonka fame, singing while pulling at paper rolls, welding a shopping cart at oompa loompas, and singing about how you want "it", whatever it is, nowwwwww? Well I really wanted to do that... though my "fantasy" is less based on being a rich demanding little brat and more based upon my wanting all the delicious wine I could shove into a shopping cart, if they actually had shopping carts, and singing about how I want the whole world and give it to me nowwww. Anyhoo.. lots of good wines at some fairly reasonable prices. Helpful knowledgeable winos, er...wine snobs, er...wine people. Lots of liquors and all those obscure mixers and elixirs that we have come to know and love from the Atlanta fancy schmancy bar scene. They've even got H&Fs own homemade Bloody Mary mixer bottled and ready to roll. There are also some interesting beers in the store. Will I be back? Yes. Will I bring my wallet? Well yes, because shit ain't free. Will I run around the store singing "I want the world, I want the whole world, I want to lock it all up in my car, It's my bottle of Pinot Noir, Give it to me NOW!"? Yes, but only in my mind.
google avatar

Yelp
We have a rule when we walk in here: we can only buy as many items as one person can carry in their arms. If not for this rule we would beggar ourselves every time we entered the store. There is so much cool stuff here, and a ton of hard to find liquors items. The shop keepers are incredibly helpful and will call local distributors to ask about any items they don't have in stock. Each section is somewhat limited, but only contains the very best. There isn't praise high enough for H&F Bottle Shop - if you are a craft cocktail enthusiast or home mixologist, you must stop in here.
google avatar

Evan M.

Yelp
Its a cool liquor store with a neat selection. Service is nice despite being misguided in the spirits department. Would stop by if I was the neighborhood, otherwise it's a little outta my jurisdiction.
google avatar

Katherine S.

Yelp
A beautiful shop tucked in a stip mall on Peachtree. The shop is affiliated with Restaurant Eugene and Holeman & Finch (thus- H&F). They currently are only carrying wine and bar accessories, they expect to get their license to carry a full line of spirits in about a month. In the meantime, stop by and visit. The prices on wine cover a lot more of a range than you would expect- I saw bottles for as low as $8. They also have some interesting wines you won't find at your average store. The owner, Andy, helped us pick a great Gruner Veltliner for around $15. Definitely a destination if you're looking for a special bottle to impress a wine snob, or just looking for something different to jazz up dinner. Note- until they get spirits, they're hosting weekly wine tastings.

Yelp
A comfortable and classy atmosphere puts you at ease while you shop for wine at H&F. It's actually a pleasant place to be, in stark contrast to the warehouse experience at most bottle stores. The person who helped us listened to my preferences and price range and recommended two bottles that fit what I was looking for exactly. It was very relaxed and easy. It seems the limited selection is tailored to stuff they consider the best for each type and price point, so you get to skip the dross and get right to the good stuff, even if you can only spend eight bucks. Half the wine in the store is under $20 a bottle. For some of you (well, for me), it's worth dropping in just to see the music system. They have a fabulous turntable on loan from Audio Automation (I've shopped there! Great place!) and they always play cool jazz. The sound is wonderful. Finally, the prices seem competitive and there is a 10% discount on 12 or more bottles of wine. Conveniently, the wooden wine cases are just the right size to hold records, once you drink up all the wine...

Yelp
Excellent shop for both professional bartenders/mixologists and at-home enthusiasts like myself. I originally went to add a couple more bitters to my collection at home and was hoping for more than just Angostura and Peychaud's. They have a wide selection from Fee Brothers, Bitter Truth, Bittermen's and a few others. The salesperson was very helpful in picking out a Regans Orange (a standard anyone should have) and Black Walnut bitters to go with a lot of the rye and bourbon drinks I make at home. On the same rack they also carried a few other quality mixers like Fever Tree Tonic water and Ginger Ale and a variety of syrups. There were also a few good books on the topics of cocktails for sale. There's a wide array of spirits but the bottom shelf here would be the top shelf for most any other liquor store. Don't come here looking for Taaka. It's not a wide selection and a bit pricy but it's the best in Atlanta in terms of quality as far as I'm concerned. There were many hard to find spirits including Rittenhouse 100 (which I walked out with) and Snap and Root which I've only ever scene in the northeast. If there's something you haven't been able to find elsewhere, check here. And when I say pricy, I don't mean they jack up their prices. What can be found in other liquor stores is around the same price here. The price comes from the high quality of other brands they carry. As far as bar tools, this is the only place to go. I've been to tons of liquor stores around Atlanta and the only bar tools you can ever find are a 3-piece shaker (usually plastic) and the occasional jigger or muddler. This place had everything you'd need and some things you probably don't need but want anyway; shaker tins, hawthorne strainers, julep strainers, bar spoons, muddlers, lewis bags, absinthe spoons...you get the point. If you can find it behind a good bar, you can find it here. I'm not a wine person, so didn't check much of that wall but other yelp reviews seem to have covered that department..

Yelp
H&F is a well-edited booze boutique presented in an immaculate store right in the hear of Buckhead. The staff was knowledgeable and helpful without being pushy. They even have the best quality and hard to find accompaniments for cocktails. This is not the shop to hit up if you are looking for 30 different kinds of gin or bourbon or vodka. But it is the right shop if you are looking for great examples of almost every kind of booze. I would have given H&F five starts, but I find that their prices are high for some of their offerings. Particularly, a bottle of Blanton's bourbon (which you can buy for $45 at many retailers) was priced significantly higher. A large bottle of Bulleit bourbon, however, was priced spot on. I'm likely to become a regular at H&F and would recommend it to any connoisseur of cocktails who is looking for something special.
google avatar

Nemil S.

Yelp
I've been here a few times now, and always have friendly and expert advice on whatever cocktail I'm trying to make. Although the normal liquors are a little more expensive than your average liquor store, there are many unique things you can find here for your home bar. They have a database of all the cocktails served at H&F and Restaurant Eugene so you can get the ingredients after visiting the restaurant (as was my case). Two restaurants I highly recommend BTW. I went home happy with some Orange Bitters and Peychaud Bitters, ready to make an Old Fashion. I'll be back soon....
google avatar

Gregory D.

Yelp
This place has two major things going for it: the inventory is better than your average liquor store and the helpfulness of the staff. I always am greeted warmly and they will help with multiple recommendations for whatever you are looking for. Prices are a little bit above regular prices for some of the common items that you can find at other stores.

Yelp
My husband received an H&F gift certificate for coaching soccer last year (pro tip: this is a great idea!). We finally stopped in after dinner nearby, and were pleasantly surprised that they were open at 7:30pm (most shops in this strip are not). We stopped in, and despite having two young kids with us (not our usual entourage), the place was very welcoming. It's small, and they have a tiny putting green the kids played on while I browsed. I wanted two bottles of red and one white, and instead of pretending like I didn't need help, I went all in and asked for recommendations. We've opened two of the three bottles so far, and the results are fantastic. I'm sure they have bottles at all price points, but every bottle we purchased was less than $30. They also carry bar supplies, hard alcohol and mixers. It's small, warm and welcoming. Stop in, and be open to their recommendations!
google avatar

Shyam S.

Yelp
This is definitely an overpriced wine and spirits store, but that is not really the point. This is NOT the place you stop before heading to a party if your goal is a case of Steel Reserve. This is a place for wine and spirits aficionados who like wine, but who also like to pick up cocktail books, bitters, mixing utensils ($45 gold stirrer, anyone?) and other cool stuff. I stopped in before heading to London to pick up some unique presents for my friends and came away with some great Holeman and Finch original items like t-shirts and Tervis glasses. Very cool place with a very helpful staff.
google avatar

Howard T.

Yelp
It's not the biggest booze store on the block, but it is the best by far. Seriously.
google avatar

Sara B.

Yelp
They have an amazing selection here, such interesting items. I came here to buy a gift for a friend, and he ultimately loved what I chose (I was largely shooting in the dark, but I guessed that by coming here couldn't go too far astray).
google avatar

Melanie S.

Yelp
Overpriced liquor store with an arrogant staff. There is nothing you can't get at Tower or Greens but smaller selection and higher prices at H&F. They have some cool bar accessories but again the same or better at Cooks Warehouse or William Sonoma. Small wine selection and minimal beers.
google avatar

Samantha M.

Yelp
If you make craft cocktails at home, this shop is a must! They have a huge selection of things like bitters, vermouth & other essential ingredients. They also have a pretty great selection of liquors I've never seen before, wines under $20 a bottle & handy bar tools, fun ice trays etc. For some basic liquors, I think they run a little more than the average package store, but for the hard to find items, definitely worth the trip! Oh and you can buy a decent size jar of Holeman & Finch Bloody Mary for only $8. Just add vodka or tequila! Yum!
google avatar

Patrick M.

Yelp
Personality is gone. New people know little about wine. Terrible recommendations. We tried 3 Saturdays, awful experiences. Where is the "other" store?
google avatar

Broderick S.

Yelp
I'm not a Buckheader so unfortunately it isn't a go-to spot to buy liquor, but it's definitely a place to check out if you're looking for something special and want a staff that can help you with a well-made cocktail. Slowly but surely since they've been awarded with the license to sell hard liquor & beer, they've beefed up their selection & have carved out a niche with carefully curated shelves of booze.

Jane M.

Yelp
I could not have had a more positive customer service experience than the one that I had at H&F Bottle Shop. Really welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable staff who took the time to help me pick out a gift for a friend even thought I wasn't sure exactly what I was looking for and had a limited price range. I left feeling like I got the perfect present without spending any more than I wanted to, and without any of the stress that can sometimes accompany buying outside of my comfort zone. Will definitely be back.
google avatar

Reggie M.

Yelp
When I walked in I was blown away they had a lot of choice items in this store and very knowledgable! I forgot to check in on yelp I got so excited! I will swing through again!!!!!!

Atlanta A.

Yelp
Awesome store and staff!! Lots of cool products you won't see anywhere else. They also have a beautiful selection of barware.
google avatar

Luckie D.

Yelp
Why 5....... Because it's a rare little gem of craft libations and quality tools in every price range. You won't find ask the names you know rather you will discover small batch offerings from a knowledgeable staff in a comfortable almost boutique setting.
google avatar

Yelp
GREATEST ever !!! this boutique bottle shop is amazing -- GREAT selections of wine, beer and spirits and amazing guys working there who know EVERYTHING about mixology-- this is sort of the Ralph Lauren of package stores
google avatar

Yelp
Knowledgeable/approachable staff. Great shop, unique choices. Love this place!

Yelp
This off the beaten path bottle shop is a true gem. Its a breath of fresh air to go somewhere that not only has a wonder selection but also has a staff that is very will educated in the wares that they are selling. When I am trying a new dish I stop by for some expert advise and they always seems to hit a home-run. They also have a great range of price, I do tend to stay a the lower end and have been able to try several bottles between the $9-$12 range. Though I have yet to attend any, they do offer Thursday night education sessions on the wines and also mixology. Can't wait until they are able to extend and also offer spirits and beer.

Matthew D.

Yelp
Great place to pick up an inexpensive, but quality bottle of wine. The staff is knows their merchandise well and can provide you with recommendations and food pairings upon request.

Drew D.

Yelp
Very knowledgeable staff. They can always recommend something great based off of what I tell them I like. I have discovered several of my favorite beers and bourbons from their recommendations. Only downside is their prices are a bit higher but it's a price I'm willing to pay in exchange for their recommendations. A couple of extra bucks here and there doesn't bother me because they helped out. I think of it as a convenience fee I guess. Very friendly and always willing to help.
