New American restaurant with nice interior design aspects. Their dinner menu is good but I did try their brunch menu a few weeks back. The food was okay and the brunch atmosphere wasn’t entirely there (but I think Asheville lacks that in general). The side of ham was a bit too salty for my taste but the duck frittata was great. The restaurant also gives out free matches with their logo on it which is very cool. Cool place to eat though!

Not impressed with the steak, underwhelmed with flavor. Tough to chew. Fried oysters were delicious and we enjoyed the charcuterie board. Roasted cabbage was a miss for me. The bone marrow was flavorless.

Wow! We finally made it here to test out the food! We started out with the deviled eggs appetizer. They were awesome! Highly recommend (if you like deviled eggs, if not, don't get them, unless it's been 7 years and your taste buds have changed then get them!) Also we got a chilli dog and a double burger with onion rings. Everything was awesome. Then we topped it off with a chocolate malt & a boozy milkshake. We were stuffed! But super happy! Our bartender was awesome (didn't catch her name). Down to earth and a laid back place. Oh and there is a nice outdoor patio with heaters up above! Check them out. They've only been open a few months now but I think they'll do well.

Awesome place. Would love to go back for dinner! We were doing tapas-style visiting around Asheville and ran into this place. Phenomenal oysters with a SPICY cocktail sauce (go for the New York for that extra salinity) and an excellent beef tartare. Great atmosphere as well!

This place is FANTASTIC. The oyster bar is so much fun and the quality of the product is amazing. Our shucker Jordan was the best dude ever and he made our experience so much fun! The manager Trey was also so great! He was so kind and welcoming and between the two of them and our server we had THE BEST TIME. Highly recommend this place. The attention to detail on the decor is stunning. We’ll be back! - Maddy, Casey and Cassidy ❤️

Oh hey gorgeous Parisian spot in Asheville! The whole ambiance of HF was spot on. Even the bathrooms were "cool". The patio was perfectly warm on a super chilly, drizzley night. We started off our evening with our drinks - wine, the old fashioned, & a cheerwine soda for our 11 year old daughter. These were great! For food starters we had the seasoned tomatoes - a must order! We almost ordered another round! Radishes & butter came out and the butter was like.....oh gosh so amazing. We also ordered our daughter's "butter noodles" which came out promptly. I will say we asked for cheese (they had Pecorino which she loves) but there didn't seem to be any on her noodles. She loves an al dente noodle, but I would suggest maybe taking them just a bit longer as they were pretty stiff. We also ordered 3 oysters and a cheese (similar to manchego) to go along with the tomatoes and radish but unfortunately we had to remind our server after about 30 minutes of not ever getting them. Then we were able to order our entrees. I had the carbonara & my husband the steak & the cold lobster salad. My husband absolutely loved his oysters - super fresh and of superior quality. Our cheese was also delicious & the fig jam (?) Paired with it was incredible! Great bread choice as well. Here's the only real downfall of the meal. It took about 40 minutes to get our dinner orders AFTER we ordered them after eating our appetizers. This would seem normal and totally understandable but they didn't appear very busy (8 on a Sunday night). The carbonara had a beautiful smokey flavor from the pork, but saldy missed the mark on the velvety pecorino "sauce" that you know and love with Carbonara. All the photos on their Instagram also show a egg yolk placed top and center of the dish and sadly I didn't have one. The sauce was watery and the noodles over cooked. Bummer! I make fresh pasta noodles & pasta at home frequently so I was a bit let down. My husband's steak had a beautiful sear with a nice salty/peppered flavor. He loved it! Only qualm was the kale wasn't on the plate as the menu stated, it was zucchini & squash instead. My husband loved the veg anyways! His lobster salad was a major hit as well -lobster roll filling essentially so he was in heaven. Huge pieces of meat hit the spot! Overall we would come back! Great vibes and drinks and for the most part we would recommend. Only issue was how long it took to get our food, not many water refills, and if you're out of ingredients or running low (kale, Pecorino) just let us know so we aren't confused when it doesn't come out as presented. I think next time I would get the burger everyone seems to rave about. I'll be dreaming of those tomatoes for days to come!

Beautifully redesigned space with a delicious, extensive menu. Everything we had was amazing. I can't wait to go back. I highly recommend their fresh raw oysters, anything from their meet and cheese (that Tomme is SO delish) menu and the HNG NY Strip. The skillet kale they serve with the steak is AMAZING.

Fresh! In fact, everything is made in-house with the exception of the cheese and locally sourced bacon. Excellent whisky choices, great hand cut fries and decent burgers. Tory made us feel welcomed and helped us out with some local recommendations on breweries, distilleries, and hikes. My husband said he could eat there the remaining time in Ashville because $2.25 for a large basket of delicious fries. Highly recommend especially if you like spirits.
