Unique ice cream and donut shop on the Upper East Side. We got the eggnog and Cookie Monster ice cream, and the waffle cone (I think) and Dubai donut. Tables were a bit flimsy and owner was a bit rude.

The donuts were good I guess, the only thing that me & my dad were eating donuts but they were good tbh.

The black and white cookie was rock solid, clearly frozen and defrosted. Tasted of nothing- super disappointing. The donuts were also very dry and felt like they were stale from the day before. Customer service was grumpy owners who treated customers like they were a burden. Don’t recommend this spot.

Stopped in for a sweet treat and got the Oreo cookie donut. 🍩 So good, soft and delicious not overly sweet! Delicious! And another great thing is that it’s only $2 each.

Extremely friendly staff. The ice cream is also extremely good. Maybe a little pricey, but absolutely worth very penny. They have a beautiful lobby and seating area. If you're nearby, definitely make a plan to see this place.

The ice cream itself was good and the girls behind the counter were lovely but the manager is a wretched human being. The way he speaks to and berates his employees is disgusting and I’ll never go there again. He should be ashamed of himself

Trust the comments when they say that the owner is very mean and disrespectful. He speaks to his staff members angrily and I totally agree that he needs anger management therapy. Until there is a switch to a new owner I will not be coming back. Good luck for those supporting this kind of business that mistreats their younger staff members.

Verbally abusive older gentleman bullies younger workers and kids. I want to start by saying that I absolutely love the pastries at Wholy Cream. Every donut I’ve tried has been fresh, soft, buttery-rich, light, and fluffy. The cream they use is simple but delicious—never artificial or overly processed. It ranges from gooey-soft to perfectly drippy and sweet, and it’s clear that a lot of care goes into making the pastries. However, despite how much I love the food, I can no longer support this business. On two separate occasions, I witnessed an older gentleman—who seems to be in a position of authority—speak with completely unacceptable hostility and disrespect to others. The first time, he berated a delivery worker, speaking to him in a demeaning and degrading tone when the man was simply trying to confirm an order. The second time, I saw him publicly scold and humiliate a young female staff member for not wearing gloves while scooping ice cream. She repeatedly apologized and remained composed, but he continued to belittle her in front of the customers. Then, to make matters worse, he scooped the ice cream himself—without gloves—right after criticizing her for the same thing. These incidents were not isolated, either. Friends and other community members have shared similar stories, stating that this same man is routinely verbally abusive to employees. It’s heartbreaking to say this, because the food here truly is excellent, but no product is worth supporting an environment where people are treated with such cruelty. Until the management addresses this behavior, I won’t be returning. I’ll be encouraging others to take their business elsewhere.

Their donuts are absolutely delicious. We tried a sampler box and they were all delicious, my favorites were the lemon one and the espresso one but honestly even just the regular strawberry frosted was good. The only reason this isn't five stars is that the gentleman working when we came in acted like he didn't want any customers. Which also shows on the fact the store was absolutely empty when we came in, so with workers being rude the vibe check just wasn't there. Good donuts but take them to go if you do come. Or better yet, go where your business is welcomed..

Not too long ago we checked out a four donuts sampler box. I wasn't too impressed. Seemed to be better looking than they actually tasted. Colorful and sweet but way too sugary for my taste. Plus, I really doubt how freshly made these were. Won't be satisfying any future donut cravings here.

We came here on a nice winter day. Stopped in to get a couple of pints of ice cream. Cookies and cream and mint chocolate chip, they were both delightful. The hot chocolate was having a special for only two dollars. Great deal and great service there's a surprise in the hot chocolate that gives it an extra rich taste.

It smells nice in there it brightly lit and seating is available by going downstairs. They have a nice selection of donuts and variety of frozen yogurt available. An older adult was there to serve and was able to fill my cold brew to my specifications. I went during early pm, and was served quickly did not notice others inside at the time.

Honestly great little donut stop. My friend and I were walking by and it had a super cute window display of donuts so we decided to stop in. I got the loopy donut and she got an old fashioned. It was honestly pretty good and the people at the counter gave good recommendations. The donut was very soft and I thought all of their flavors were pretty creative. Would definitely stop by again to try their different flavors.

The food is good (unfortunately still prettier than it tastes though) but sadly I have to agree with many other reviewers that the owners are very mean to their young staff, even in front of customers. I wouldn't go back just for this reason. I hope they'll consider changing their tone and looking at employing teens as an opportunity to teach and mentor, not berate and embarrass.

I LOVED IT. the service is amazin, the food tastes so so so good. i'm always going there when im in the city. the donuts are the perf texture, the ice cream is the perf amount of sweet!! it's just amazzzzzzzzing. the person who helped us was so kind and helpful!!! love it so so much.

Owner mocks and insults "Too Good To Go" app users. He claims you're a scammer if you don't swipe it open in front of him and will be generally more condescending and rude than imaginable. Don't go

Absolutely awful place! AVOID at all costs. I decided to try some donuts including the highly reviewed oreo donut and get some coffee, but everything tasted old, like a 10-year refrozen garbage. I understand quality can sometime be bad, but I got such severe diarrhea from this snack, that I couldn't lift my a** from the public restroom for multiple times that day. This food poisoning affected my stomach for DAYS, and I had to resort to oatmeal and lemon water and pills to recover. Worst of all is the unprofessional, racist, inappropriate owner. It was hard to watch as he put down an employee, but I also witnessed how he tried to sweet talk and invite some young girl to "dinner" -- absolutely disgusting looking at his old age. And he acts so superior to everyone else. He is unprofessional, 0-conscience, selfish and inappropriate at best. I was so disgusted by both the food and its owner. Will never go back to this horrid, disgusting place.

We have had many lovely experiences in the past, the women working in the store have been very nice. Unfortunately today was a different story. After my husband paid for oue icecream, my 4 year old said he suddenly needed to use the bathroom right away. We know there is a bathroom because we have used it before. The woman working in the store wouldn't allow my son to use it and so my husband tried to rush him elsewhere. My son peed his pants and was so upset. Unfortunate that the store cannot be accommodating to a small child, especially considering we are regular paying customers. We won't be going back.

Terrible place. Our child still remembers the time the owner threw a fit at his worker for not doling out the right portion. Avoid at all costs.

We just hosted a birthday party here and it went great. Party room is nicely decorated and generously sized, big enough to fit 20-30 kids. Counter server Stephanie and party planner Sacha were very kind and helpful. Owner Michael was quite accommodating and the price was reasonable. Kids had fun doing a project then having pizza and ice cream. We played music and a game at the end. This shop has the right ice cream flavor for everyone. We gave out donuts as parting gifts and kids were super excited to bring them home.

Former employee. Ice cream is good but that's about it. Doughnuts are frozen garbage along with all other baked goods. Owner makes employees tell people they make everything themselves when they really come out of freezers in the basement. Owner is an absolute nightmare and awful person to interact with who verbally abuses his employees and takes advantage of people who aren't native English speakers. Sure the ice cream is good but if you go in there is a 50% chance you'll be met with the owner berating a teenager girl who was probably hired that day. If you think I'm just a one off disgruntled employee go look at the glass door reviews and the yelp reviews for the other location. Would not recommend supporting this business and its owner.Also attached are photos of the roaches I would have to stomp on daily crawling around the storage room (even roaches like ice cream)

I have no idea how the Board of Health hasn't shut this place down. The donuts sit out uncovered on the windowsill all day. Crusty buckets of frosting left out, also uncovered, for days at a time. Bug zapper plopped right on the food counter. The owner is a selfish jerk who constantly blocks 3 parking spaces with 2 cars and has been doing this for months. Reading the reviews it's not surprising that he's miserable to his employees and customers. All around just a nasty operation.

Manager/owner yelled at his staff, slammed pans around, and was very rude to us, adults and kids. We will never return.

Loved it amazing ice Cream and service it was great the seating area is gorgeous and the workers are so kind along with the owner
