After Mandatory Evacuation Order, Galveston Restaurants Brace for Hurricane Laura | Eater Houston

"A recently developed hotel adjacent to the beachfront restaurant complex was purchased by the same company and is being used as staff housing during the storm period, with free rooms offered to employees who want to remain on the island to continue working until closure is necessary." - Amy McCarthy

Our father needs a nice clean place to stay for his short visit with us. We have tried many hotels in the area but this has been the best by far. The front desk service and accommodations are outstanding. The rooms are very spacious and very sanitary and clean. Beds are very comfortable. The breakfast in the morning is very good my father loves it!!! Compliments to Jimmy and the front desk for accommodating all of our needs. You have been great 🙏 thank you. 😊

Overall, my stay at this hotel was positive. The location is convenient, the price is reasonable, and communication with the staff was smooth and helpful. That said, there are a few areas where the experience could be improved. Parking is an additional $10 per day, which I would have preferred to be included. The mattress is starting to sag and caused some back discomfort, the window A/C unit had a noticeable smell and likely needs servicing, and the bathroom does not have an exhaust fan, which causes moisture and odors to linger. Despite these issues, the hotel still offers good value, and with a few updates, it could be an excellent choice for travelers.

This is my second time in this hotel with my wife, very nice to be back there. The receptionists are very attentive. I thank everyone there for their attention. Great location. Easy check-in effort with friendly staff. Room was clean and well-maintained.The experience at this establishment surpassed all our expectations! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with an amazing atmosphere and warm hospitality. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring that our every need was met. The service was top-notch, with every detail carefully attended to. The food was simply outstanding, with each dish bursting with flavor and expertly prepared. Every bite was a delight to the senses! The professionalism displayed by the entire team was commendable, making our visit truly enjoyable. Without a doubt, we will be returning again and again, and we can't wait to bring the rest of our family along to share in the experience. This place has earned our highest recommendation, and we can't wait to come back for more unforgettable moments.

My wife and I love to stay at this hotel when we are in the Santa Ana Tustin, California area. The staff are all so friendly, courteous and professional. We always get a nice quiet room with two queen beds on the top floor and find it to be a very comfortable and familiar place. We will come back to this hotel whenever we are in that area.

The location was great for us, very close to our destination. The room was great comfy, clean etc. Breakfast was super with a choice of the buffet or something from the menu.|Our only complaint is that the parking spots are too small for anything except a small sedan. There is a real possibility for damage to your vehicle or having to park far away because your car can’t fit into the tiny parking spaces.

Google
This was a great hotel option very close to Disney without the Disney price. Rooms were clean and organized and fairly modern. The staff was very friendly and the hotel overall looked very nice. Very safe area as well for me and my family.

My family and I stopped in for lunch after visiting the gem and mineral show, and we’re so glad we did! Lucero and Elvira provided phenomenal service, offering great menu suggestions and drink recommendations. We really appreciated their friendliness and attention to detail. Highly recommend!

Google
This is my go to hotel when I come Visit family in Orange County. The price is good, parking is cheap, beds are comfy and the rooms are updated. The pool is also great and they are super accommodating. I got a noisy room and they moved me the next day to a less active part of the hotel. 10/10!

Yelp
Every time we drove to LA, we always stopped by OC to visit friends and family. This time we got to stay at this nice hotel after the one in Glendale a few days earlier. Plenty of parking spaces and close to all the freeways to OC area. The hotel is quite clean and the people are quite nice. Luckily we got a room close to the side door that leads straight to our parking lot instead of walking around many hallways. This is quite a large complex. The room is very nice and large, the shower I like with nice water pressure and the shower head is wonderful. The beds are very comfortable. My son loves the desk to play game on his laptop. Quite a few USB charger on the night table which is convenient. The bathroom is a little small but livable. The AC is great, just perfect for hot days. The only complaint I have is to have to walk downstairs to get ice because the one upstairs always out. It was quite a nice one night stay. We always like to stay in a new place, but we may come back here again for next trip.

Yelp
The cleanliness of this hotel was...questionable. There was so much trash under the bed, and one of the towels had a brown stain that I hope was just rust. I tried calling the front desk because the Internet wasn't working, only to find that the cord on the phone was cut. On the surface it wasn't bad, and it's a convenient place if you get stranded at the airport. But they could definitely work on the cleaning.

Yelp
this hotel was comfortable and decently priced for the area! but the cleanliness is definitely questionable, i checked into my room, opened the dresser only to see that someone had left their shoes and undergarments inside. how was this not cleaned out by housekeeping?? very questionable.

Yelp
We recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Orange County Airport in Santa Ana because my father-in-law is in the ICU at Fountain Valley Regional Hospital. We booked this hotel through Expedia, trusting the Holiday Inn reputation, but were extremely disappointed with the way we were treated by one of the employees, Norberto. We went down for breakfast at 9:27 AM (breakfast ends at 9:30). I politely asked if we were too late, and instead of showing any courtesy, Norberto responded curtly: "Oh yes, you are, breakfast is finished." Thankfully, another staff member kindly allowed us to grab something quickly, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, Norberto was clearly unhappy about it. Fifteen minutes later, he came to our table, pointed at his watch, and rudely told us we had "5 minutes to clear the area" because they needed to prepare for lunch. When I asked for the manager, he falsely claimed to be the manager. The front desk later confirmed that was not true and gave me a business card for the actual manager. This type of behavior is rude, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable. Guests deserve courtesy and respect, not to be rushed or misled. We expected much better from Holiday Inn.

Yelp
Under $190 per night, this Holiday Inn has some work to do, but their newly renovated rooms are clean, comfortable, and cozy. Haven't been here in awhile. Small lobby, but in December, it's colorfully decorated for the holidays. Eating area/bar has a good enough amount of tables and chairs. No free complimentary breakfast though. Purchase separately. Honestly, the parking lot was pretty packed and tight. Busy for sure. I wish their parking spaces were much wider. Convenient access to freeways. Staffs were friendly. Room key card didn't work towards the last day, so they had to fix it in the lobby. The annoying thing was you had to climb up the stairs/walk with your luggages because elevator is out of order/not working. Those stairs were pretty high. At least there's a coffee machine and a mini refrigerator in the double queen bedroom. Bathroom was spanking new and well stocked. Good bathroom space. Loved the puffy pillows as usual. Comfortable room stay. Best to park near the garbage bins in back of building, especially if you're on the upper floors. More parking spots there and you can see your car outside. Came to earn hotel rewards points. Not bad, but there needs to be a working elevator during holidays. Laundry service folks were pretty loud working here. The stay was still decent here.

Yelp
I scheduled an event here last week. Maydali and staff were exceptional. She was attentive and anticipated any possible needs that may arise. I was a little hesitant about ordering food for our staff there, but thought it would be convenient than leaving the property and trying to figure out where to eat. The food was surprisingly superb (Italian buffet). it was hot and fresh and was prepared with care by Gabriel and his staff. The California room was spacious and fit our staff perfectly. It was clean and well kept. Next time we have an event, I will definitely reach out to Maydali. Thank you again for your friendliness and attentiveness.

Yelp
We chose this Holiday Inn location for its centrality in the OC area, not knowing it was literally facing the 55 freeway. If you get an even-numbered room on the second or third floor, your window view will be the rush-hour traffic jams and the occasional car chases which Southern California is famous for. We were SOL when we requested an odd-numbered room on a higher floor during check-in because they were completely out, was offered one on the second floor instead. It was late and we were tired after driving nine-plus hours, so we were not too picky. When we got to the room, it seemed normal and clean. I immediately noticed there were only five hangers in the closet. Then the nightmare began. At first, it appeared to be tiny little feet running the length of the floor upstairs, once or twice. It went on and on and on through the witching hour. For a moment, I thought Usain Bolt Jr. was staying upstairs because the length of the room was literally 26 feet long and we could hear the tiny steps tracking from one end to the other, back and forth, back and forth repeatedly. Called the front desk to report the racket, but the commotion persisted throughout the night. Also, we could literally hear conversations in the hallway and from other rooms. Not muffled babble, but literally whole uncensored conversations. I blame it on the dated construction of the hotel. Seems like someone forgot to add wall noise insulation and/or thicker sub-floors during construction. Maybe, someday when this Holiday Inn hotel goes through remodeling, the issues will be corrected. Since our stay was almost a week, I noticed the ice machine had not been replenished four days consecutively. And there was only a single microwave for the entire floor. Obviously, it was not smelling too appetizing when it was my turn to heat up my leftovers. I must add that parking lot security was OK, since there was an old beat-up security cruiser (maybe an old cop car) visibly parked onsite to deter burglaries. It gave me a little peace of mind. Other then this tiny detail, the hotel have three exits/entrances. Unfortunately, two were chained-off leaving only the middle narrow entry and exit closest to the hotel lobby open. Beware when you're exiting and need to turn left on Grand because of the obscured view of on-coming vehicles around the corner. You might be safer turning right on Grand.

Yelp
I love the separation of the hot buffet and the cold buffet on the other side of the room. The dining area was so nice and roomy. You can have a view outside or you can sit inside. The room was awesome because I got the room where I can overlook my car in the back parking lot like I asked for. Amazing hospitality. My favorite was Gabriel who was the food service manager in the dining room. My room was 343. The front desk was amazingly helpful.

Yelp
This is a good Holiday Inn location, it's located directly off the highway. The hotel has a lot of amenities, to include a great fitness center. The staff was very welcoming and helpful, and the rooms are very comfortable and clean. I definitely recommend this hotel if you're in the Los Angeles/Santa Ana area. The hotel is approximately 40 minutes from LA depending on traffic, and 10 minutes from Disneyland.

Yelp
When we made our reservations, we also prepaid for breakfast during our stay. We arrived on Sunday and our room was clean and overlooked the pool. The 1st night we realized how close the freeway was. Fortunately, I brought ear plugs. I slept great, but the A/C recycled throughout the night, waking my wife up several times. Unfortunately, you can't tell the system to keep the fan going. The buffet breakfast Monday morning was truly awful. Everything but the probably powdered eggs appeared to be leftover from the previous day. The sausage was tough and overcooked. The potatoes awful and the bacon cold. They did have fresh fruit which was great. For breakfast Tuesday we ordered eggs over medium instead of the scrambled eggs from the tray. They were perfect, but most of the rest of the food was like Monday's. On Wednesday, the food was obviously fresh and very good. I was going to give them a two star, but bumped it to 3 because of this. On all of the days, the staff was great and maybe we should have complained, but we didn't. If you go there, ask for an odd numbered room so that it won't face the freeway.

Yelp
For $180 a night I expect better. Broken sink in room. Parking lot exits closed and poorly marked, safety hazard. Elevator is broken so have to haul luggage up stairs or all across property. Freeway noise is bad. Breakfast is not included. No water in room. There was a sign up today that the fire alarm was going to go off for 6 hours, thanks for understanding. It feels like it is set up for the convenience of the employees rather than what is best for the guests.

Rooms are dated, Clean although need some TLC. Location is nice. The staff is friendly.

Yelp
This place has a serious ant problem. There are ants everywhere and I parked my car in the parking lot and they got into my car. Now I have ants randomly crawling over everything in my car and I've been spraying for them and they can't get rid of them.. they're all over the sidewalks outside and this problem must be severe for them to get into peoples cars. I am not sure how I'm gonna get rid of them. Super annoying! Other than the horrible ant problem one of their two elevators was broken, and I saw missing fire alarms in the stairwell. The carpet were filthy, and I would probably like to pay a little bit more to say somewhere else. The outside neighborhood is dirty and there are lots of homeless people and we saw three people smoking meth on the corner one evening. One of the back doors midway through the hotel was out of service and we would have to walk quite a distance with luggage or caring things to get to either side of the hotel to get in since that door wasn't working. It was annoying.

Yelp
When we checked into the hotel on 7/2, room 320 smelled awfully of cigarette smoke even though this is a nonsmoking hotel so we were moved to room 337. When it was time to bathe my 2 year old son, the water in the shower would not drain at all and the water on the shower floor was dirty so my husband went down to the front desk and was told it would be fixed the next day. However, it was not. We bathed in our crocs on 7/3 but by this point the shower was overflowing with dirty water and it would not drain. My husband called downstairs from the room phone around 11am on 7/4 to let the hotel know we wanted to check out early. I also went to the front desk myself because I didn't know my husband had already called following this and told the gentleman whose name begins with Nar- that I wanted to check out that day. His response was that I owed $20 for parking. I told him when I checked in that that wasn't what I was told (free parking as a new member) and was given the white bag with the water and chips, a drink voucher, and 10% off breakfast and he proceeded to tell me he saw nothing in their system. I went up to the room to finish packing and not even 5 minutes later I got a call from him at the front desk saying that he called the guy I spoke to when I checked in and he said he didn't know what I was talking about either but he went ahead and covered my parking. As we were packing up our things to leave, the maintenance man came to the door while it was open to ask if we were checking out because he wanted to snake the drain and we told him he could come back after we checked out because we were checking out and he was agreeable. We also told the housekeeping guy down the hall that we were checking out on 7/4 and not to come into our room yet because we still had items to grab (he said he didn't see our room on his paper even though we were told housekeeping would come every other day), we told multiple staff we were checking out, handed Nar- back both room keys after all of our items were removed, and never returned back to the hotel or the room in any capacity. I called my bank for a refund and the games have begun. Be mindful of the lies these employees tell at this hotel and its location because now Sam's Club and this hotel are lying about our check out date. And get documentation of any conversations you have with the employees as well because they aren't honest at all.

Yelp
Honestly, we had a great experience! Nice n clean room, free Bfast, surprisingly great view of the sunset, and the gym was a nice touch! We enjoyed our 16 hours greatly and I'd recommend. The only downside was this area of Santa Ana is a little sketch.

Yelp
12/5/24 They Stay was horrific no heater in the room as it was out. the heating unit is located on the floor. No central air. There is a security car parked in the back to make it look safe only to find out no security has been in the car for at least a year. The front desk has a fraud disclaimer at the checkout window. If you call back to speak with management they will only look you up by the last 4 digits of your credit card. Are you preventing fraud or aiding to fraud? Don't book here i

Yelp
Terribly loud road noise if you get a south facing room. Even after they remodeled the rooms I don't think they improved the windows. It's a wonderfully landscaped property with good service and easy access to so much nearby. I'm an avid fan of Holiday Inn but this location is not my favorite

James J.

Yelp
Friendly staff. Clean. This is the best Holiday Inn I've ever stayed in. They have a bar. Only two complaints. I'm 6'4" and the shower heads are too low. Also, the shower had two bottles of shampoo and no conditioner.

Yelp
I absolutely enjoyed staying here! This is the only 3star (free wifi/parking) hotel near the Irvine border that still offers DAY RATE. They no longer offer the discount but i was happy someone let me work during the DAY. I was unable to work from home and needed a spot ASAP, they were super accomodating. My room was in the west wing near the pool. Everything was brand new from top to bottom. Fresh and clean :) I expected this type of ambiance from the Hilton. You can see a view of Embassy Suites, where i original wanted to stay but heard the homelss problem was seeping into the parking lot. I felt much safer at the Holiday Inn. The staff is super approachable as well. The pool, restaurant, and fitness center were out of order but it didnt impact me aa all.

Yelp
Stayed here recently for a 2 night stay and other then the comfy beds we did not have a pleasant stay. First negative was that we found a almost dead cockroach in our hotel room the second day which was disgusting. Secondly our room never got cleaned. After complaining to the front desk the gentleman said that they don't clean your room unless you stay 5 or more nights?! I think having room service at a hotel is definitely one of the bigger perks so the fact that they didn't have it was a little disappointing. Last but certainly not least is the audacity that the hotel has to charge almost $15 for their "breakfast buffet". They literally had 4 options and to pay almost $15 for extremely basic food is crazy. Like I said, the beds were comfy and the room stayed pretty quiet and dark for sleeping purposes which was great.

Yelp
My stay was fine... the room was comfortable and clean. Early check in, with friendly staff. However, someone came into my room while I was out. Fortunately I had everything important/ of value with me, including my suitcase which I need for work. only my chargers were taken and coat pockets were gone through. I made a point of turning everything off except for the bedside lamp, all the lights were on when I returned. I'm glad I wasn't there, since I've been reading reviews of people being robbed while in their rooms!!! I've stayed in hundreds of hotels for work and this is definitely a first. Just glad nothing of real value was stolen and I wasn't in danger. I complained to the reception but Seems unlikely that anything will be done in future to ensure no one else has to go through this or worse!

Nestor D.

Yelp
--Spiders & other creatures in the corners of the room. --Sink clogged --If you're booking thru another website like Hotel Engine, Priceline, etc., these pigs will not clean your room, no housekeeping for you, sorry.

Yelp
Filthy. Horrible stinky hotel. I mistakenly booked a room here. They need to get professionals, to clean this place. It's so bad.

Yelp
I've stayed at my fair share of hotels due to traveling for work. First time staying at a Holiday Inn, and here I was thinking my stay would feel like a holiday. Nope, I was mistaken! Dated rooms, noisy air unit, people slamming their gosh darn doors, thin floors (I could hear the person above me stomping throughout the room), vending machine stocked with almost nothing, the worst toilet paper I've ever had to use (and why is the TP 4 feet away from the toilet which isn't even arms length reach?), the worst toilet seat (couldn't sit on it without it moving and pinching my thigh), cable tv that hardly worked (kept losing signal or horrible picture), and uncomfortable couch. The only part of my room I enjoyed was the bed and the pillows. Safe to say I'd rather pay more to stay at a nicer/upscale hotel. Why didn't I stay in downtown? Also the most narrowest and limited parking I've encountered. Thank goodness it's free! Hope I don't wake up to a dinged door.

Yelp
Nice location. Within 10 minutes to John Wayne Airport. Love that there's a bar and restaurant onsite with happy hour specials daily. The pool area is nice and the hot tub was clean and HOT. the gym here is ok, not too much equipment but it gets the job done. The bathroom is very quaint!
google avatar

Robbin M.

Yelp
Holiday Inn is not my favorite chain but I must say I was impressed with the clean room and new remodel. Get a room not facing the freeway for a more quieter sleep. Front desk staff kind and helpful. Keurig in the room. Hote had a restaurant bar but breakfast not included
google avatar

Dave C.

Yelp
3.5 stars for updated rooms and decent location next to the freeway. Speaking of freeway- bring your earplugs b/c depending on the room facing you will catch a good amount of road noise. Service was friendly here and they have reopened some of their amenities... fitness center, pool and bar area. No free breakfast or upgrades for being IHG Platinum elite status. I stayed here on a weekend night and the hotel was mostly empty. Cleaning could be improved as I found some gross hairs in the bathroom area (ewww). Otherwise I enjoyed the new beds and new-ish decorations. The sundries were decent too.
google avatar

Jennifer H.

Yelp
Stayed here for a week, and I was pleasantly surprised by how clean and modern-looking the room was. Felt spacious, and didn't have any major issues with noise. Did hear voices outside the door as well as the elevator, but it didn't bother me too much. Bed was comfortable enough. Rooms come with a mini fridge, but the coldness was on the weaker side. No microwave in the rooms. Bathroom comes with small toiletries. Since housekeeping only comes every 5 days, I needed to ask the front desk for more shampoo/conditioner. Towels were surprisingly soft. Parking is free.
google avatar

Russell F.

Yelp
Property is large and has an old odor to it. Room didn't smell very fresh. Request an odd number room unless you want to feel like you are sleeping on the freeway that is adjacent to the property. Staff was nice, room was large. Updated as the freeway noise was unbearable all night. The bonus was no hot water in the morning which is a common review comment. It begs the question if there's no hot water on the property, how are they doing kitchen services and keeping not only dishes sanitized, but also be able to wash hands with warm soap and water as required by code?
google avatar

Mike K.

Yelp
The problem with this place is that there are no options for early coffee. We are 5 am risers, and had to head next door to the gas station just for some caffiene. The location's fine, but I honestly now prefer the HI Express - included breakfast, coffee around the clock, etc... just a personal preference I guess. Anyway, coffee early. it makes a difference. There were several guests in that gas station that morning.

Yelp
I chose the holiday inn because I'm attending a seminar being held here. Reservations were easy to make and the check in process went smoothly. Although I arrived very early in the day, they were able to find me a room. I really appreciate the staff and their professionalism. They have a free shuttle from the Santa Anna orange county airport. I have stayed here in the past. However this time the room was feeling old and dated like it could use a facelift. I don't know when it was last occupied but there was an insect in the bathtub. Since it didn't look dirty otherwise, I just washed down the drain. The room appeared clean and the linens smelled fresh. The bed was a little soft for my liking, but there was a variety of firmness for the pillows. There are advantages to being holiday inn rewards members. Breakfast is included. From my stay the last time, my colleagues who were not rewards members did not get the same benefits. If you're going to stay here to sign up to be a rewards member. However there was close to $100 difference in the price for the same room so timing is everything.

Yelp
Hotel is kept nice - beds great size and comfortable. Problem - we were given a room on the 1st floor near a main entrance - our walls shake each time someone goes in and out- the sound is loud and is happening all through the day and night - not relaxing, instead I had a headache the entire time from the banging...banging...banging of the doors.

Yelp
This holiday Inn property is just off the freeway, and it was easy to find. When we pulled in we know this building has been here for a while. The lobby and my room seem to confirm my initial impression. The restaurant is at the back and seated about 20 persons. The breakfast buffet is alright plus they also offer dishes from the menu which I didn't partake. The rates are reasonable so you get what you paid for. If you belong to their reward program and on a budget this place is not so bad for you.

Yelp
Beautiful hotel in a good area. Room was spacious and quiet. Hotel has nice trees and flowers growing outside. Bed was very comfortable. Free breakfast is included with your stay. I highly recommend this Holiday Inn.

Yelp
The hotel is clean staff is Great! But if you like Hot showers this is not the hotel for you! My husband and I both had to take cold showers at 8am in the morning! Ugh! And the shower is a slow drip!! Not good!
google avatar

Amanda N.

Yelp
The staff we interacted with were very friendly, hence the two stars. The restrooms downstairs were backed up and reeked of sewage, and there was raw sewage all over the floor, rendering it unusable. They said we couldn't check in yet, and there were no other bathrooms in the hotel that we could use. Then some random lady in the lobby was behaving very strangely and just acting creepy. It was weird. We ended up not checking in and staying elsewhere.
google avatar

John T.

Yelp
The stay here we recently had was wonderful. The best part is the supremely helpful friendly staff!

Bob S.

Yelp
This was our first visit since Covid. Some things have changed, probably due to business loss during Covid, 1. They no longer offer a free van to take guests to various points. 2. While the remodel is generally positive, with ample USB outlets for devices, the bathroom didn't seem as nice as before. We seemed to recall that in 2019 and earlier, the shower was in a separate tub or stall with a door or curtain. After the remodel, there is no separate stall. Rather the floor is continuous between the toilet and shower. 3. There doesn't seem to be as much housekeeping service as before. Despite the nearby airport, the room seems to be pretty well insulated from airplane noise. The rooms and beds are very comfortable. They still offer free parking for one car per room (some of the hotels in Irvine charge extra for parking). Staff is very nice. Breakfast room staff were nice as always. We'll likely go back.

Yelp
Just stayed here for the first time, Gabriel checked me in and was super friendly and likable. Even behind the safety mask he was wearing you could tell he was smiling and and very nice to talk to . He checked me in easily and quickly which is a huge deal to me cus I hate sitting outside in the heat waiting when getting to a hotel 30 minutes early. Haven't seen the room yet but Gabriel at the front desk already got this trip started on a great note just for being so nice and pleasant to talk to. More hotel employees should be like him! Thank you holiday inn and thank you Gabriel!

Yelp
Omg !!!! Get ready to not get any sleep. First of all the hotel was nice, cleaning could improve:( you won't get your room clean if you don't stay more than 5 days, you won't get your garbage taken out if you don't ask. The way the room doors our build is horrible, people slamming doors all fukin day. The room i got was nice but next to an exit ugh! People coming in and out another reason why I couldn't sleep. They let people smoke here even though their policy saids no smoking. The person staying in the room on top was the worst, so noisy walking up and down all day an night sounded like he was doing construction or something. Long story short hotel is nice but you won't sleep here :( too noisy, thin walls and doors being slammed all the time.

Yelp
This is the second time I have stayed here. Beds are comfortable. Room is spacious. Ac is cold. Tv needs to be upgraded. Small and picture is so so. The internet is a bit slow but adequate. My last stay was not as good as this time. I had the room right next to the pool. The gate would shake my room every time someone left the pool area. Parking is a little tight, too much compact parking in back. Not enough out front.

Yelp
We liked the free parking, room was spacious and clean, , our bed was super comfortable, hot breakfast was AMAZINGLY good, and good central location in OC. The only complaint we can think of.... the 40" TV was a bit too small. DEFINITELY staying here again in the future. A+

Yelp
I stood at this location from 4/12-4/15. On the last day, hours before check out, as I was sitting on the toilet, I noticed mouse droppings all over the restroom floor. I brought it to the attention to the host/ management as I checked out and the brushed my off. Very poor customer service. I would not stay at this facility spend the money stay some place else. If you do decide to bite the bullet DO NOT STAY IN ROOM #176!!!!!!!

Yelp
First time here and was actually really surprised by the hotel. The room was in nice shape nice bed and clean. I'm not sure why people give it such bad reviews. I was checked in by the Manager I believe his name was Ali. Very pleasant and very attentive, he checked me in quickly and said he would call me in a few minutes to see how the room was. And true to his word within 10 minutes he checked in to make sure everything was good. The Wifi is probably one of the best I've had. The room while basic was clean and quiet. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Overall nice decent hotel for a decent price.

Yelp
Overall a pretty pleasant stay here for 2 nights and 3 days. Check-in process was quick and painless, they were also able to accommodate me with a corner top floor room as I requested. You do a hear a bit of freeway noise but it's not horrible, place has a pool, hottub, and gym so those are nice little amenities to use during your time here. They were also able to provide me with a wine opener so +1 for that. Staff was very friendly and i really had no problems at all during my stay here.

Yelp
Best Holiday Inn, very clean and courteous staff, excellent service from breakfast manager, Trujillo, and his staff. Highly recommend this place.

Yelp
The Holiday Inn may seem unchanged over the years, if you drive past it. However, the hotel has received major remodeling in the past year or so, and the interior is beautiful, from the lobby to the bar to the rooms. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful, in particular, the food and beverage team. Thanks again Gabriel and Maydali!

Yelp
Last night we had a good old fashioned Family Night in the Grand Ballroom... this is the 5th event our family has hosted here and every time the staff is amazingly accommodating! Maydali is the sweetest and most attentive event coordinator! Lupe is an amazing Chef and he is so humble about it! Gabriel and Jose are always readily available on the night of the event. I appreciate all the staff, from the front desk to the banquet staff to housekeeping, everyone makes us feel like we're just part of the family and the Grand Ballroom is our family room. We've had a couple of "Black Tie" holiday parties, a couple of Milestone Birthday parties, and last night we held a more casual Thanksgiving Family Game Night... this is definitely our favorite venue and we will be back next year for an event, or two. Thank you Holiday Inn Family!

Yelp
Nice, clean hotel. Good sized rooms. Reasonably priced. Free parking. Staff are very pleasant and accommodating. Restaurant food was surprisingly good. Very nice servers. Next time I'm in the area I will stay here.
