Holiday Inn Singapore Orchard City Centre by IHG

I love this hotel, room 307 with 2 double beds fits my family of four perfectly. Spacious and clean. Access to the lounge is included if your room on the 3rd floor. The breakfast had a large variety. The location was super great, multiple shopping centres nearby and transport were close by. The staff was friendly. Medium size swimming pool, but my kid had fun. I'd love to come back again next time. Go-car to the airport cost around $18-$22. Bus stop nearby also takes you to the airport.

I visited Singapore in April this year and had an exceptional experience at this hotel. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the room itself provided a sense of luxury. The staff were remarkably polite and kind, and the breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of delicious foods. The rooftop pool was simply perfect, I had swum there every day. Additionally, the service was outstanding, even the location was perfect as well. I would like to express my gratitude for my time here and recommend this hotel to anyone planning a trip to Singapore. It is truly an ideal place to stay.

The hotel itself is dated however the location is great and rooms clean and quite spacious. The service from staff is great. However I would not recommend the executive lounge at all we paid the extra thinking it would add a touch of luxury to our stay this was not the case. The light refreshments available all day are just a few glass jars filled with some loose nuts and dried fruits with a fridge full of soft drinks. The evening cocktails would be a stretch to call cocktails, a few standard sprits with a mixer we were told the they had a version of Singapore sling (not enough ingredients to make a proper one) or a screwdriver ( pineapple juice and vodka) The appetisers were disappointing a few sweets, a dish of rice or pasta, a fried meat, a samosa if your lucky and salad with cheese and crackers. Overall i would recommend the hotel based on location but skip the executive lounge there are plenty of amazing restaurants around the hotel where your money would be much better spent.

After staying at the hotel for over a week, it is very easy to understand why there are so many positive reviews. Every staff member is so friendly, polite and helpful and is the best part of the hotel. Plus the hotel is very clean and well maintained, and all food options were great.

We had a wonderful experience staying at Holiday Inn Orchard Central! The staffs there went out and beyond! They are so caring and treat all the customers like their own family member! They even gave a surprise birthday cake for my baby sister! It made my sister’s day. We are indeed pleased with the service and the hygiene of the hotel. Will definitely come back and stay here again!

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel, and I want to give special thanks to Helena, who took incredible care of us during breakfast each morning. She was attentive, kind, and made sure our gluten-free needs were fully met. Traveling with a dietary restriction like celiac can be stressful, but Helena made it easy and enjoyable. The overall experience at the hotel was also excellent. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the location was great, and the service throughout was friendly and professional.

I stayed at this hotel for about three months for a business trip. I originally planned to stay somewhere else, but a colleague recommended this place — and I'm really glad I followed their advice. The location is very convenient. There’s a bus stop nearby, and Somerset MRT Station is just a 5–10 minute walk away, which made getting around very easy. What I appreciated the most was the lounge. The menu changed regularly, which kept things interesting, and the food and atmosphere were consistently great. The staff, especially at the lounge, were incredibly friendly and accommodating. I had a personal request during my stay, and the lounge manager gladly helped out and told me to reach out directly to them if I had any issues. That gesture gave me a real sense of support and peace of mind. Overall, it was a very satisfying long-term stay. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone coming to the area for business or leisure.

Very nice seafood buffet on Thursday, Friday and Saturday (menu option is always available). Nicely placed to have a walk around with commercial buildings just one street away onwards. Weirdly the main entrance is facing the highway but there’s a door right next to the bar to get to the back of the building so not a big deal. The hotel is quite quiet at night which is great for a nice sleep and it is extremely clean, too. The staff is very helpful and friendly. I’m definitely returning here if given the chance.

It has been ages that I stayed in a HOLIDAY INN Hotel Chain. The last time when I was living in the USA. So now in Singapore , I try this location to refuel and recharge - mini staycation. Took a break in this Hotel recently so I can USE the Swimming pool, have a BIG Queen Size bed to myself and just chill!. Check in & Check out was a breeze. My room was ready before the allocated time that I need to check in. Though I cannot deny the decor was slightly NOT to my liking. The view given was nothing to compare about. Managed to refuel and refresh on a Midweek and I do NOT mind returning to this Hotel. 4 Stars for Location & Service 3.5 Stars for Decor and The Room

Room is on the small side but the single beds are extra long. Breakfast is made for traveling adults and is very multi cultural. Lots of staff to keep things tidy. To get a strong coffee add 2 expresso.

This being a Holiday Inn, I wasn't expecting much. But what started out as a disaster turned into what may be the best hotel stay ever. After a 17-hour wide-awake flight we were exhausted, and needed sleep desperately. We were thrilled that we were able to get into our room early. We staggered into bed, and 10 minutes later the hammering started in the room above us. After some negotiation, we were upgraded. From beginning to end, all interactions with every single staff member was exceptional, with a special thank you to the manager, whose name I've unfortunately forgotten. (Starts with "V"). Our room was fabulous, and the Club Lounge offerings were sumptuous and delicious. The hotel is in a convenient location, and is much more upscale than I ever imagined a Holiday Inn could be. There's no question that this would be my #1 choice in Singapore if I ever were to return!

Stayed here for two nights over a weekend. The staff here is great, really friendly. We checked in probably around 1 AM since we had a late flight into Singapore and the person at the front desk was super nice and since we had three people even had an extra set of towels, slippers, etc. brought up for us without any prompting. The room was fairly spacious, had a mini fridge and a decent sized bathroom. The location is also great. Right around the corner is a 24 hour 7-Eleven in case you need anything and also bars and restaurants that are open late or 24/7. It's also just a short walk to the Somerset or Dhoby Ghaut MRT stations. There's also shopping galore all along Orchard Road.

Our family group of 5 spent early to mid December 2015 in Singapore - What a magnificent city, especially at that time of year.. Not too many tourists about.. We had 2 Double Queen rooms right beside each other at THE HOLIDAY INN ORCHARD CITY CENTRE, Cavenagh Road - Just 1 block behind the main Orchard Road... #POSITIVES: -Location -Fabulous large, clean luxurious rooms -Efficient air-conditioning -Free daily bottled water -Free Wi-Fi -Big TV screens -In-house movies -Food credit vouchers for missing a day's change of linen; amazing how quickly these added up, when you have 2 rooms; we were able to fund a morning's breakfast for the lot of us with missing only a couple of days bed sheet changes; a great practical enviro-friendly idea -Many dining choices -Comprehensive breakfast buffets; S$20 if you're a hotel guest -One of the best roof-top pools we've ever swum in; huge, wide and deep -Fully fitted out gym -24 hour guest free office centre; pc, fax, printer etc; invaluable for printing out e-tickets et al -Friendly and efficient staff -Hard-working porters -Helpful concierge -Big strong house umbrellas to use at your leisure -Taxis in the drive all the time, night and day #NEGATIVES: -Simply none This hotel is an absolute winner, in every way... This hotel is quite a good value. It's pretty nice, and the rooms are modern. Sure the cleaning may not be too great but the rooms are very decent and the staff top notch. They're also rolling out free internet for all, big deal if you travel a lot. I havent' had a chance to try the food yet but unlike most places they offer many benefits to Priority Club members on reward stays, including upgrades when available. This is something few other hotels do, in fact the Crowne Plaza at Changi Airport offers NOTHING...yes you read that right, nothing to Gold or Platinum members on award stays, i know that's the way the company promises, but it's very depressing. If you're looking to go shopping Holiday Inn OCC isn't a bad choice. Would I pick it out among many competitors? Likely not, but this stay it got me and next time I need to do a Priority Club points stay it will get me a gain as it's quite a good value.

I think the highlight of this hotel was definitely the location. It's within easy walking distance to Orchard Road and various bars and restaurants, but without the loud noises! Our check-in process was seamless, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. The rooms were clean and beds were comfortable, overall the room was perfect for our one night stay. Spacious enough for 3 adult guests too.

Clean and decent hotel located in the middle of a bunch of high end shops and main shopping district of Singapore- Orchard Street. Free unlimited wifi for all guests! Decent continental breakfast- warm foods (the days I stayed there were the options of eggs, chicken sausage, spicy chicken sausage and a mix match of hong kong noodles, what looked to be a rigatoni (probably had a different name) fried rice. The breakfast also came with muffins, toast, cereal and fresh fruits. As well as coffee, teas, and fresh juices. The rooms were nice cozy and modern.

Great hotel and service. Convenient location in Singapore. WiFi speed was good as well though I did not use it a lot. Breakfast was great as well. Staff where friendly and have great customer service.

Great hotel with extremely friendly staff. Clean and spacious rooms. Located 2 minute walk from the heart of shopping districts. Great selection of tv channels as well.

I have stayed here on the average a few times a year since 2000. Its a clean modern well kept facility that is also well situated with a park on one side, eating establishments on the other and is only one block from the well-known Orchard Street which is the main shopping district of Singapore . The staff is first rate and have always accommodated any needs that come up.
