Holiday Inn Singapore Orchard City Centre by IHG

Although our stay is still ongoing at Holiday Inn, Orchard City Singapore, I just had to share how impressed we are so far. The hospitality has been amazing and the food is fantastic. Getting good food can be challenging some time for a vegetarian but breakfast buffet here has so many options, that definitely is a good start of the day! At their Restaurant ‘Tandoor’, the food is consistently delicious and the hospitality truly stands out. The team members are attentive and courteous. Special shout-out to Saravanan Margabandhu whose outstanding service and kindness have made us feel so welcomed. Really appreciate the level of care being shown!

Want to praise the employees and services over here. Spending an early Xmas with my family in this hotel for 5 days 4 night here. Was well taken care of by the crew and especially want to praise by my temporary babycare in the executive lounge. Joanne and Hani proactively asked for help in my baby needs and spent some time in getting my baby and family familiar with the place. Eventually my baby get so used with them and laugh so much when he is hugging them. It is his first Xmas and best Xmas he could ever get in Singapore. Meanwhile, want to praise holiday inn that is providing baby bed for family. The reception proactively ask for our needs and offer this without extra charge. The team are friendly, helpful, intelligent and well trained. Special for the house keeping team, my baby vomit in day two in his bed, and the team clean it up effectively. I saw there are so many family with kids and babies spent their holiday over here. Will definitely choose it again for my next trip. Location and transportation is also great, there is also a 24 hours laundry shop nearby, just 3 mins walk from hotel. Washing for my baby napkins.

Hotel service is excellent and responsive. I would like to compliment Jason for his wonderful service serving us during check in and also for our request for late checkout. We celebrated our big day with compliments from the hotel. Room is comfortable and cleanliness is top notch. Breakfast was good with many variety. During peak time, it felt like under staff and many tasks piled up such as lack of cups, coffee machine error. Maybe hotel can look into this. But I do like that the table provide a pen and menu to pre order the eggs and omelette instead of standing at the egg station waiting. Location wise is very near to orchard and have many eatery nearby. The closest MRT station is at Somerset Station. There is also 24 hour 7 eleven beside and don don donki nearby if you want to shop during the midnight. Overall an enjoyable stay for our family. We will definitely return again if there is any future offer promotions from the hotel.

We stayed at the hotel for 6 nights late last month. I must say it was a fantastic experience. We chose the hotel apparently because of its more than average room size relative to other similar hotels in Singapore, and I must say I was not disappointed. Superb double room for my family of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids). Super cozy and comfortable. The overall hospitality and the service were good too - very prompt and considerate. I’d have perhaps reduced a star for the breakfast troubles, considering you have to be really punctual in the morning for it if you don’t want to wait in a queue, but nevertheless, the quality of the breakfast easily compensates for this hassle. Superb spread overall. My kids loved the stay and the food. Crucially, the property’s location makes it really good. 8-9 mins from Dhoby Ghaut MRT and 5-6 mins from Somerset MRT, so connectivity is not an issue. Moreover, a ton of malls, market, shops and what not nearby. Overall, I am glad I chose this as my go-to hotel in Singapore.

The hotel is clean, very well organized, and the services are excellent. The buffet breakfast is varied, with international, Indian, and Asian cuisine. Great gym and pool. A special mention goes to Sarvinder, who was extremely kind and very professional in helping us resolve a small issue with our airport transfer. Thank you, Sarvinder!

We had a wonderful experience attending wedding lunch. The moment we stepped into the hotel’s ballroom, we were warmly greeted by the service staff, they were all attentive and passionate to serve. You can see the event managers present and they were organising the event flow. Lastly, the food served was really delicious, presentation was on point, portion were really sufficient.

This is our 4th stay. Honestly we love this Hotel. Staff are friendly and nice. Especially from The Executive Lounge. It is such wonderful to meet staff Ms Sarvinder , from the Front Desk. She recognises us. Great welcoming. She is one of a Gem that brings joy to the guests. We witnessed, she went extra miles to assist a couple that needed travel guide. Ms Sarvinder is professional, polite and helpful. Highly recommended. Thank you for the great service. Hope to see you again soon!

I stayed in holiday inn for 2d1n with my kids for a mini staycation for his birthday. I was greeted by helpful reception and the check in was a seamless process. A while after I checked in, someone delivered a birthday cake for my son. We were surprised and delighted by the hotel’s kind gesture. The staff were generally quite polite and we truly enjoyed our stay. One more thing to highlight, I omitted bringing back a bag with my newly purchased contact lenses and some food when I check out of the room. Called the hotel immediately after I realised and they found my items. I went back to the hotel to retrieve it. Grateful that the hotel discovered my missing items and kept in intact to return it to me. Thank you to the hotel staff! We had an overall pleasant and enjoyable stay!

It has been ages that I stayed in a HOLIDAY INN Hotel Chain. The last time when I was living in the USA. So now in Singapore , I try this location to refuel and recharge - mini staycation. Took a break in this Hotel recently so I can USE the Swimming pool, have a BIG Queen Size bed to myself and just chill!. Check in & Check out was a breeze. My room was ready before the allocated time that I need to check in. Though I cannot deny the decor was slightly NOT to my liking. The view given was nothing to compare about. Managed to refuel and refresh on a Midweek and I do NOT mind returning to this Hotel. 4 Stars for Location & Service 3.5 Stars for Decor and The Room

Room is on the small side but the single beds are extra long. Breakfast is made for traveling adults and is very multi cultural. Lots of staff to keep things tidy. To get a strong coffee add 2 expresso.

This being a Holiday Inn, I wasn't expecting much. But what started out as a disaster turned into what may be the best hotel stay ever. After a 17-hour wide-awake flight we were exhausted, and needed sleep desperately. We were thrilled that we were able to get into our room early. We staggered into bed, and 10 minutes later the hammering started in the room above us. After some negotiation, we were upgraded. From beginning to end, all interactions with every single staff member was exceptional, with a special thank you to the manager, whose name I've unfortunately forgotten. (Starts with "V"). Our room was fabulous, and the Club Lounge offerings were sumptuous and delicious. The hotel is in a convenient location, and is much more upscale than I ever imagined a Holiday Inn could be. There's no question that this would be my #1 choice in Singapore if I ever were to return!

Stayed here for two nights over a weekend. The staff here is great, really friendly. We checked in probably around 1 AM since we had a late flight into Singapore and the person at the front desk was super nice and since we had three people even had an extra set of towels, slippers, etc. brought up for us without any prompting. The room was fairly spacious, had a mini fridge and a decent sized bathroom. The location is also great. Right around the corner is a 24 hour 7-Eleven in case you need anything and also bars and restaurants that are open late or 24/7. It's also just a short walk to the Somerset or Dhoby Ghaut MRT stations. There's also shopping galore all along Orchard Road.

Our family group of 5 spent early to mid December 2015 in Singapore - What a magnificent city, especially at that time of year.. Not too many tourists about.. We had 2 Double Queen rooms right beside each other at THE HOLIDAY INN ORCHARD CITY CENTRE, Cavenagh Road - Just 1 block behind the main Orchard Road... #POSITIVES: -Location -Fabulous large, clean luxurious rooms -Efficient air-conditioning -Free daily bottled water -Free Wi-Fi -Big TV screens -In-house movies -Food credit vouchers for missing a day's change of linen; amazing how quickly these added up, when you have 2 rooms; we were able to fund a morning's breakfast for the lot of us with missing only a couple of days bed sheet changes; a great practical enviro-friendly idea -Many dining choices -Comprehensive breakfast buffets; S$20 if you're a hotel guest -One of the best roof-top pools we've ever swum in; huge, wide and deep -Fully fitted out gym -24 hour guest free office centre; pc, fax, printer etc; invaluable for printing out e-tickets et al -Friendly and efficient staff -Hard-working porters -Helpful concierge -Big strong house umbrellas to use at your leisure -Taxis in the drive all the time, night and day #NEGATIVES: -Simply none This hotel is an absolute winner, in every way... Clean and decent hotel located in the middle of a bunch of high end shops and main shopping district of Singapore- Orchard Street. Free unlimited wifi for all guests! Decent continental breakfast- warm foods (the days I stayed there were the options of eggs, chicken sausage, spicy chicken sausage and a mix match of hong kong noodles, what looked to be a rigatoni (probably had a different name) fried rice. The breakfast also came with muffins, toast, cereal and fresh fruits. As well as coffee, teas, and fresh juices. The rooms were nice cozy and modern.

I think the highlight of this hotel was definitely the location. It's within easy walking distance to Orchard Road and various bars and restaurants, but without the loud noises! Our check-in process was seamless, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. The rooms were clean and beds were comfortable, overall the room was perfect for our one night stay. Spacious enough for 3 adult guests too.

Great hotel and service. Convenient location in Singapore. WiFi speed was good as well though I did not use it a lot. Breakfast was great as well. Staff where friendly and have great customer service.

This hotel is quite a good value. It's pretty nice, and the rooms are modern. Sure the cleaning may not be too great but the rooms are very decent and the staff top notch. They're also rolling out free internet for all, big deal if you travel a lot. I havent' had a chance to try the food yet but unlike most places they offer many benefits to Priority Club members on reward stays, including upgrades when available. This is something few other hotels do, in fact the Crowne Plaza at Changi Airport offers NOTHING...yes you read that right, nothing to Gold or Platinum members on award stays, i know that's the way the company promises, but it's very depressing. If you're looking to go shopping Holiday Inn OCC isn't a bad choice. Would I pick it out among many competitors? Likely not, but this stay it got me and next time I need to do a Priority Club points stay it will get me a gain as it's quite a good value.

I have stayed here on the average a few times a year since 2000. Its a clean modern well kept facility that is also well situated with a park on one side, eating establishments on the other and is only one block from the well-known Orchard Street which is the main shopping district of Singapore . The staff is first rate and have always accommodated any needs that come up.

Great hotel with extremely friendly staff. Clean and spacious rooms. Located 2 minute walk from the heart of shopping districts. Great selection of tv channels as well.
