Food Review – Holiday Inn Orchard Buffet The buffet at Holiday Inn Orchard offered a pleasant and satisfying dining experience. While it may not be the most extravagant spread in the city, the overall quality of the dishes made the meal enjoyable. The mushroom soup was a highlight. It was creamy, well-balanced, and comforting without being overly heavy. The earthy mushroom flavour came through nicely, making it a great way to start the meal. Another appetising dish was the cold potato salad. It was light, refreshing, and nicely seasoned. The potatoes were tender and coated in a creamy dressing that wasn't too rich, making it easy to go back for another bite. The vegetable selection was also well prepared. The broccoli and other greens retained a good texture and natural sweetness, suggesting they were cooked just right rather than overdone. Overall, the buffet at Holiday Inn Orchard delivers solid flavours and a comforting selection of dishes. It may not aim for extravagance, but it succeeds in offering simple, well-prepared food that satisfies.

We stayed here as a family of four (two adults, a toddler and a baby) and had a really great experience. The hotel was clean, tidy and very welcoming from the moment we arrived. Reception and concierge staff were extremely accommodating and helpful throughout our stay. The rooms were large, clean and spacious, which made travelling with young children much easier. The rooftop pool area is lovely — calm, relaxing and never too busy. There’s plenty of space to sit in the shade or the sun, which we really appreciated. Breakfast was excellent. The buffet had a great selection, and you could order freshly made eggs which were cooked to order and brought directly to your table. The staff in the breakfast area were especially kind, friendly and welcoming. The location is very good, with plenty of restaurants and food options right on your doorstep. If you’re planning to visit the main attractions such as Gardens by the Bay, Marina Bay and the waterfront area, they are a bit of a distance away. However, Singapore’s MRT (underground system) is excellent — clean, efficient and very affordable. We had no issues navigating it with a baby and toddler. Overall, I couldn’t fault this hotel at all. We would definitely stay here again.

Spacious room but has very dark vibe with weird mouldy sewage smell . To the extent you might find haunting feeling . Otherwise staff was good . Very good location . And terrible noise almost all day due to some renovations. Not sure why they decided to keep running hotel with same peak season prices knowingly it’s not going to be comfortable stay . I was suggested by front desk we can spend all day out while work going on in the hotel , hmmm very thoughtful .. :(

I needed a good hotel to stay in for a late night arrival before switching over to Marina Bay Sands. This hotel was a good choice. Attentive staff all around. Room service was good timing and delicious. The views aren't great but the rooms are nice enough to make that not matter so much. The area is a high end area between malls and bars with girls looking for drink buyers. Overall I had a good stay and I would have stayed here the whole time if I hadn't booked marina bay sands.

Stayed from 24th-26th Dec 2025. Our 3rd stay here and this will be our go to hotel whenever we are in Singapore. Located almost at the end of Orchard Road, it's the perfect location to start walking along the road day and night. Going in and out of the shopping centres to look-see and try different types of snacks and food will not only add inches to your waist 🙃 but with the walking, you should be able to complete your daily steps! I would say the room size and room rates are reasonable too for a hotel that's along Orchard Road. The rooms are very well kept and clean. No complaints about the hot water shower nor the AC...all well maintained. The bed and pillows are so comfy, we slept like a baby! The front office staff, telephone receptionist, room service staff and F&B staff are pleasant and very eager to help. Special thanks to Ms. Sarvinder and Mr. Jeff for their pleasant and courteous company. The breakfast variety is sufficient and not over the top. The pastries were a little dry for me. I did feel like the sitting area was a little cramped. These are just my personal opinions. Hope to see you next year!

Hotel is in a good position with lots nearby on Orchard Road, with loads nearby. The decor isn’t bang up to date but everything is very well maintained and clean. Rooms were fairly spacious and the pool was pretty big. Hotel staff were all great and weren’t phased when things get a little busy like other hotels. They were able to cope with busy times- there was a bit of a queue for breakfast but staff responded quickly opening new areas so we didn’t wait long. The rooftop pool is a good size and has a large, pleasant seating area. The value for money of this place was good.

Had a great stay here for 4 days and 3 nights. I would like to take this moment request a new invoice or reciept for my stay because i had misplace it somewhere. One of our best experience in a hotel in last 10 years and this was made possible by excellent staff at Hotel. They really care for their guest. The hotel has such a great vibe of servicability and this can only be possible when you create a people to people connection. In this fast paced world everyone is in a rush and hardly you would find people giving you their time and thought to make a good holiday experience. We stayed here for 9 nights. We wanted to have a relaxing holiday and not a rushed one. Thats exactly what happened. Thanks to staff here. I cant mention all the names but few key people who made our stay memorable were Paul and Sarvinder (Guest Manager) at Frontdesk, Sasi Reddy, Raj, Sara at Tandoor restaurant and buffet Staff specially Manjeet, Kavi and other gentleman at live egg station. One of the maintenance guys was great help for a quick resolution to a minor issue on our first night. There were a few more people whose name I need to recollect and add here may be later.|I would request the staff to keep doing the great service you are doing now. It has been ages that I stayed in a HOLIDAY INN Hotel Chain. The last time when I was living in the USA. So now in Singapore , I try this location to refuel and recharge - mini staycation. Took a break in this Hotel recently so I can USE the Swimming pool, have a BIG Queen Size bed to myself and just chill!. Check in & Check out was a breeze. My room was ready before the allocated time that I need to check in. Though I cannot deny the decor was slightly NOT to my liking. The view given was nothing to compare about. Managed to refuel and refresh on a Midweek and I do NOT mind returning to this Hotel. 4 Stars for Location & Service 3.5 Stars for Decor and The Room

Room is on the small side but the single beds are extra long. Breakfast is made for traveling adults and is very multi cultural. Lots of staff to keep things tidy. To get a strong coffee add 2 expresso.

This being a Holiday Inn, I wasn't expecting much. But what started out as a disaster turned into what may be the best hotel stay ever. After a 17-hour wide-awake flight we were exhausted, and needed sleep desperately. We were thrilled that we were able to get into our room early. We staggered into bed, and 10 minutes later the hammering started in the room above us. After some negotiation, we were upgraded. From beginning to end, all interactions with every single staff member was exceptional, with a special thank you to the manager, whose name I've unfortunately forgotten. (Starts with "V"). Our room was fabulous, and the Club Lounge offerings were sumptuous and delicious. The hotel is in a convenient location, and is much more upscale than I ever imagined a Holiday Inn could be. There's no question that this would be my #1 choice in Singapore if I ever were to return!

Stayed here for two nights over a weekend. The staff here is great, really friendly. We checked in probably around 1 AM since we had a late flight into Singapore and the person at the front desk was super nice and since we had three people even had an extra set of towels, slippers, etc. brought up for us without any prompting. The room was fairly spacious, had a mini fridge and a decent sized bathroom. The location is also great. Right around the corner is a 24 hour 7-Eleven in case you need anything and also bars and restaurants that are open late or 24/7. It's also just a short walk to the Somerset or Dhoby Ghaut MRT stations. There's also shopping galore all along Orchard Road.

Our family group of 5 spent early to mid December 2015 in Singapore - What a magnificent city, especially at that time of year.. Not too many tourists about.. We had 2 Double Queen rooms right beside each other at THE HOLIDAY INN ORCHARD CITY CENTRE, Cavenagh Road - Just 1 block behind the main Orchard Road... #POSITIVES: -Location -Fabulous large, clean luxurious rooms -Efficient air-conditioning -Free daily bottled water -Free Wi-Fi -Big TV screens -In-house movies -Food credit vouchers for missing a day's change of linen; amazing how quickly these added up, when you have 2 rooms; we were able to fund a morning's breakfast for the lot of us with missing only a couple of days bed sheet changes; a great practical enviro-friendly idea -Many dining choices -Comprehensive breakfast buffets; S$20 if you're a hotel guest -One of the best roof-top pools we've ever swum in; huge, wide and deep -Fully fitted out gym -24 hour guest free office centre; pc, fax, printer etc; invaluable for printing out e-tickets et al -Friendly and efficient staff -Hard-working porters -Helpful concierge -Big strong house umbrellas to use at your leisure -Taxis in the drive all the time, night and day #NEGATIVES: -Simply none This hotel is an absolute winner, in every way... Clean and decent hotel located in the middle of a bunch of high end shops and main shopping district of Singapore- Orchard Street. Free unlimited wifi for all guests! Decent continental breakfast- warm foods (the days I stayed there were the options of eggs, chicken sausage, spicy chicken sausage and a mix match of hong kong noodles, what looked to be a rigatoni (probably had a different name) fried rice. The breakfast also came with muffins, toast, cereal and fresh fruits. As well as coffee, teas, and fresh juices. The rooms were nice cozy and modern.

I think the highlight of this hotel was definitely the location. It's within easy walking distance to Orchard Road and various bars and restaurants, but without the loud noises! Our check-in process was seamless, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. The rooms were clean and beds were comfortable, overall the room was perfect for our one night stay. Spacious enough for 3 adult guests too.

Great hotel and service. Convenient location in Singapore. WiFi speed was good as well though I did not use it a lot. Breakfast was great as well. Staff where friendly and have great customer service.

This hotel is quite a good value. It's pretty nice, and the rooms are modern. Sure the cleaning may not be too great but the rooms are very decent and the staff top notch. They're also rolling out free internet for all, big deal if you travel a lot. I havent' had a chance to try the food yet but unlike most places they offer many benefits to Priority Club members on reward stays, including upgrades when available. This is something few other hotels do, in fact the Crowne Plaza at Changi Airport offers NOTHING...yes you read that right, nothing to Gold or Platinum members on award stays, i know that's the way the company promises, but it's very depressing. If you're looking to go shopping Holiday Inn OCC isn't a bad choice. Would I pick it out among many competitors? Likely not, but this stay it got me and next time I need to do a Priority Club points stay it will get me a gain as it's quite a good value.

I have stayed here on the average a few times a year since 2000. Its a clean modern well kept facility that is also well situated with a park on one side, eating establishments on the other and is only one block from the well-known Orchard Street which is the main shopping district of Singapore . The staff is first rate and have always accommodated any needs that come up.

Great hotel with extremely friendly staff. Clean and spacious rooms. Located 2 minute walk from the heart of shopping districts. Great selection of tv channels as well.
