Best place to skate in the high desert. It has a very retro and nostalgic feel of old school skating. They recently updated their arcade and added a new mural, which is a very nice touch. The staff is very friendly and polite. We found out they rent out the whole rink for parties and private events. We will definitely be coming back to skate.

This was a beautiful night for us all who attended the birthday party of my granddaughter j'Alani Cook. She turned 14 on this day . We not only have fun on the skating floor many were on the resting area having a blast dancing or playing on the machines that was all around the room I was just watch the TV on the wall. We had a big spread set up by the parents of J'Alani. Eric 1 & Joy Pizza sodas or fruit drinks cupcakes chips the whole bit. He couldn't have asked for a grander time I would recommend this to anyone they even had skating on the floor with your Walker and they had other walkers that you can rent for $5 and enjoy as well I use my own walker. This was a night that my son and his wife had rented the room to entertain his daughter and their guests. We had a great time.

Fun family place. Kids love it. The staff are the greatest. What a joyful experience.

Google
So I decided to take my kids skating here a hour before they close. My problem is we only are having two of the kids skating. I’ve been here multiple times and I have never had to pay for my wife to sit at the lunch tables and watch us. This time we were over charged for skates and admissions. I will not come here again .

Google
So I went on a Saturday which was really cool unlimited skating from 730 to 11 with shoes is only 11.00. I had a great time the location is clean parking was great. All in all had a great time Update: went for Mother's Day and me and my family had a great time if you are looking to get out on a Sunday with the family for the low this is the place between 1:30 to 5:30 it's 10.50 with skates a hot dog and a drink. The only thing is I would suggest is a little upkeep.

Google
The kids loved it. We used to go here when we were kids as well. We always had a blast.

Google
Love the music and environment. A little bit outdated. Carpet is old, the wood structure around the skating ring was sticky. But the service was excellent and we got military discounts 🙌🙏😊

Google
Haven't been to this place in 20 years until today. Still the same place, nothing has really changed. We had a good time. No major issues. Probably has the original floors, duct tape holding the water fountain together, soap at the sink was falling apart. Honestly a good place for some family time, if you dont mind the old run down.......everything. Time for the owners to out some money in this place. They'd make a killing and everyone in the desert would visit more if that was the case

Yelp
Fun spot for skating and affordable. Down sides music choices weren't the best and the place needs some tlc. The skate floor is dented and uneven - most walls, doors and the bathroom are in need of major repairs.
google avatar

Yelp
I came here as a kid and it's amazing. They held roller derby practice and my mother was in the DCRR team and it was always open late so her and her team could spend their time practicing. The food is decent, last I was there the options were Nachos, burgers, and a hot dog and whatever fountain drinks and for some reason the people who used to work the music area were always handsome

Yelp
I have mixed reviews for this venue. Positives first: - Friendly staff - Volume of music is great - Skates are good to skate in - Great games for the children Negatives: - They are short staff. The DJ was also responsible for the skate rental area - The skating rink would benefit with a high gloss shine. The wooden floor showed a lot of aches and pain. Overall, I would definitely come back again.

Yelp
I wish that I can give Zero stars the Manager is money hungry and has zero customer service. There was a large fire which started approximately one hour and forty five minutes into our two and a half reservation. One of the caring employees took appropriate measures and evacuated the business. The fire department responded accordingly and combated the fire deeming the business safe however due to the large quick fire majority of the group vacated the property. The manager refused to refund the last 30 mins of the reservation and was extremely rude stating "you can just go back to skating" I believe the manager disregarded our safety and disregarded and health and safety standards despite the possible smoke exposure. Not to mention the bathroom was disgusting and the pretzels were bricks.

Yelp
Good times at this old school skating rink. We were looking for a little fun in the middle of the day and we got a some exercise always a plus.

Tiphanie R.

Yelp
The Cheap Grocery Store Food at An Expensive Price Is unbelievable, It smells like mildew In this place , the seating area is worn down and extremely dirty, Could be a fun place if it was updated some . I Have the taste of dirt in my mouth it's So Filthy Here . Just Horrible

Yelp
True unfortunately this place isn't well kept. But it is a fun place to go skating. My daughter and I use to go every week during her teenage years. It was something for us to do together that didn't cost a lot. We both appreciated the retro vibe it had. And there's not many rinks left. It's for sale now. I hope it doesn't close and some one buys it and fixes it up. It has lots of potential.

Yelp
An expected experience for a grungy skating rink. Feels like a time capsule really. Smells and looks exactly the way it did in the 90s. Staff is hit and miss as far as friendly, and they offered free hotdogs the day that we went but at conflicting times according to the staff working. We left without mentioned hotdogs but that is okay. Lots of considerate regular patrons and mostly a fun place.

Yelp
Bad experience skating on a Sunday with family: They didn't have inline skates available which are my wife's preference and when I asked for a refund for her ticket I was told there were no refunds. If you prefer inline skates don't come here because they have a very limited selection. The restrooms were dirty and smelly, so dirty that we decided to leave and use the restroom elsewhere. Management is just a bunch of teenagers and it shows. This place is not what it used to be.

Yelp
I was at this place a couple times. First time, it was ok. Second time, I was thinking to take my daughter there for some lessons but I change my mind. I saw some people smoking weed. There was a least ten little kids. People try to have fun but some people just think on their drug addict. employees were rolling skating next to them and not saying anything. Not coming back. Probably is not a big deal for the business one person less but I care for my daughter.

Yelp
first time here, and honestly it was terrible, lady in front was extremely rude, had no patience whatsoever. wasn't helpful at all. and the place smells pretty bad . terrible choice in music

David L.

Yelp
I have to say I started with Pete panow who built all the holiday skate centers, I Dj Ed skate guard and did many jobs from 70s into 1980. I've got to make it back there to Victorville. my name is Dave landry and miss that rink so much. it was one of the best rinks and wooden floors. I did competition skating speed skating and dance skating at this rink amazing memories thanks for sharing vidios and photoes. dave landry

Yelp
I've been skating all my life and I'm 34 years old and I can say that this is the WORST rink I've ever been to. The floor has so many dents, scrapes and gashes in it. You can tell no maintenance has been done to it EVER. You have to buff the rink floor at least once a year for upkeep. And the DJ IS THE WORST! Ppl were literally getting off the floor because he kept playing slow songs like he's in love or something. I live in the high Desert now and I'm upset that this is the only skating rink within at least an hour and a half distance. Just terrible. I left an hour after I got there.
google avatar

Seairra A.

Yelp
Very fun skating rink good music good vibes could skate in circles for hours10/10 recommended.
google avatar

Laura L.

Yelp
My family and I honestly love it here. Its not much to look at and its not very well kept but its still something fun to do in the desert. My biggest and only complaint, is the music. Awful music, not family friendly at all. I always ask for the music to be changed and they just point at the song request list....
google avatar

Yelp
Took the boys here on Sunday for the 1st time. $7 admission and $3 skate rental, but included a voucher for a free hot dog and drink with paid admission, so totally worth it. The skates were in great condition and didn't smell funky. The rink had a few rough spots, but it's the kids' first time skating so they didn't go far. haha. $5 to rent a cheap, homemade pvc "skate mate/ walker " to help the kids learn was too much to have to pay for that. Overall decor is a downer! Flash back to its been here since the 80's! Can we get an update? The snack bar is adequate but old. Old formica counters and old dingy vinyl floors. Bathrooms, sigh... are bathrooms. The little sitting tables are uncomfortable with a bar separating right and left sides. Carpet was dingy.... but, all in all, the music was good. They played fun games, kids had a good time and want to go back.
google avatar

Malia A.

Yelp
Honestly, the skating is the only reason this place is fun. Music selection needs to be updated. The entire place needs to be cleaned thoroughly. It smells absolutely disgusting and needs to be aired out and carpet cleaned. Even the floor to skate on needs to be updated. There are dents and cracks and it's ridiculous. The workers are not happy at all. I would love to see happy smiling faces when getting concessions and buying tickets. This place is a sad dump.

Stephanie G.

Yelp
I wouldn't even know where to begin with this place. Most of the staff and some of its patrons make you wonder where we all went wrong as a society. If you are good at tuning out garbage and don't care about your environment or those in it then you'll meet your goal. Otherwise make the effort to go anywhere else. I only gave them one star because I couldn't give them a lower score.
google avatar

Denise J.

Yelp
This skating rink got the job done if you want to skate in the high desert. It was hot inside because circulation is bad so I would stand underneath the A/C. The snack bar doesn't look sanitary, the staff aren't wearing masks, and they charge 75 cents for a water cup. If you're coming to skate, it gets the job done. The floor had some damaged spots to where I had to avoid skating over. The music was okay, I wish they played more hits.

Estefania L.

Yelp
I'm not one to usually write reviews but this was the worst skating rink I've been too not only was the floors walls and skates old and dirty but there was a old man with tattoos that works there that kept harassing me. He kept coming up to me trying to talk to me and he kept tapping my shoulder all weirdly. He kept starring at me and it was sooo uncomfortable. Please beware and don't leave your children unattended at this place !!!! I've been to other skating rinks and this was so far the worst one

Kelly T.

Yelp
The music started off right but went downhill fast. Zero energy. Slow, boring music. Ugh. I even made 6 song requests and only 2 were played. The stuff I requested was higher energy and would have bumped up the energy. Also, the saddest Red Light / Green Light game was played. Seriously, invest in the place & invest in your employees; it will make a world of difference. Better music system and people who are actually excited to work there and paid accordingly. And refinish the floor. Come on already.

Yelp
We went to the skating center today for a birthday party, (Saturday). The room wasn't available until 2:30, but we got to start skating at noon. That was a plus. My husband and I were adults with no children so we paid our own admission, $6.50, plus $3 skating rental to leave the paid skating to the kids in the party. That admission for a 4 1/2 hour skating session was very reasonable, we thought. The skates are OLD and are all men's sizes. I had worn thick socks and was glad to have done so. One other adult in the party said his new socks stunk pretty bad after taking his skates off. Mine did not. I witnessed an employee disinfect each skate as they were returned. Although the look of the rink took me back to the 80's, I thought it still looked pretty good. The carpet was maintained fairly well, considering the amount of kids spilling food and drink that must pass through there on a weekly basis. A great deal of it actually looked new albeit the pattern old. The rink looked rough in spots, but we had no issues while we were skating. The kids certainly took no notice and had a terrific time. The ladies restroom didn't have a cap on the sewer line and smelled pretty bad. However, it was quite usable. Sinks for washing hands are on the outside of the restroom. Handy for keeping an eye on kids when they just need wash up after eating. It was nearly 90 degrees outside and warm in the building. There were a few spots on the rink where you could really feel the air conditioner blowing. I'll dress cooler next time. There was no wall to skate along on one end because of several benches placed for skaters. (That would be a plus for beginners.) However, they do have a type of walker with wheels available for rental for $5. There were three heights that I noticed, although I wish they came a little taller for the adults that need them. It had been 16 years since I put on a pair of skates and wasn't that good back then, so I was grateful they had them and certainly had $5 worth of fun for the cost. They moved very well on the floor and gave me extra confidence. Several people in our party gladly rented them. The party rooms are not private, but areas divided by walls near the snack bar. They had two picnic tables, one set with plates, napkins, cups and place mats for our smaller party. There were also birthday balloons. We brought our own cake in. They provided soda and vanilla ice cream cups for the party goers. It was fine for our group. The staff was very courteous. Someone was always right there to help me up when I fell down! We can't wait to go back!

Zaid R.

Yelp
Place stinks of utter shit, Roller blades look like they're from the 80s and you'll have to bring in your own food if you want something GOOD to eat. Even the vending machines don't work sometimes and will just take your money.

Yelp
I would rather let my kids skate on broken glass and molten metal than ever step foot in here again. If ever a place deserved 0 stars, this is it. I've got twin 5 year olds that were giddy at the thought of a skating rink. I told them stories of my own childhood skate rink experiences, and they were sufficiently hyped. There was electricity in the car as we drove up. That ended when the owner opened his mouth. He criticized my parenting because of the difficulty level of leading 5 year old twins on skates around a rink when they kept falling. Further went on to say that he took his nieces and nephews out all the time, and said I shouldn't have a problem. They're 5. I'm a single dad. They've never skated before. Nanny McPhee would have a problem leading around 2 falling five year olds around a slippery track with wheels on the bottom of their shoes. There was a private event that was going to start at 4pm, and the boys and I were only going to be able to skate for about an hour. We paid the $5 admission fee and the $4 skate rentals per kid anyway. $18 total. The parent shamer then had the audacity to offer me the skate "walker" for kids, for $10 extra bucks. Did I mention we had only been there for no more than 7 minutes? And that when I asked for my money back, the owner offered me $5? Save your money. Instead, maybe take your kids to an empty parking lot in the middle of summer with asphalt so hot, car tires get stuck on it. Invite your insulting mother-in-law, and skate there for free. That hot empty parking lot? 2 stars on Yelp. Holiday Skate Center would still deserve none.

Yelp
For $38 for four of us - very disappointed. Drove over an hour excited to roller skate. No air conditioning and it's 100 degrees outside. Everyone sweating and cooling themselves with water bottles and dabs. Young girl at snack bar rude too.

Yelp
made me wait a realyyyyy long time for my free hotdog and drink. not cool.

Yelp
We were there today for a birthday party. It was horrible! It must have been at least 100 degrees in that place, no air conditioning At all. I used to go there as a teenager in the 80' s. This place looks the same. Old and smelly. The snack bar is a joke. Would be very nice if the HD had a nice skating facility for people to go to.

Molly M.

Yelp
The rink isn't that great but the manager Ashley has some of the best customer service I have EVER experienced. She made my skating experience 100% better. Ashley NEEDS a raise. The Dj was good.

Jonnie S.

Yelp
I would give 0 stars if possible! This place is very unsanitary, they didn't spray the skates after being used! They also have very limited skates, the ones that they do have are very unsafe they are missing pieces and cracked and just plain broken! When I asked a manger about a refund he told me I could not get my money back because they saw me with skates! They are just very unprofessional and rude! Don't bother wasting your time there!
google avatar

Johnathan W.

Yelp
The place needs a renovation. It is in bad shape. Needs new carpet. Paint. Wood floor. Ceiling. HVAC. Poor condition. It would be really nice if the owners sold kt to someone who knows how to take care of a business. It's a shame it is so beat up. I would go there more often it it was not such a dump.
google avatar

Chris O.

Yelp
OK this is a great place to come for birthday parties are just free skate. The staff and the manager are amazing they're so friendly nice hardwood floor to skate on!!
google avatar

Ariel L.

Yelp
DO NOT GO HERE! On my way home from Vegas looking for a skating rink and stopped by here. The skate my boyfriend wore from their rental booth had a staple inside that cut his foot open. We talked to a guy there and listened while he gloated that the only job he has here is to fix the skates and check for loose staples ... They saw his blood on the shoe and said the best they could do is give us a free ticket to come back and they called the owner as well and he said absolutely no refund. Considering we are on our way now to a local hospital to get him a tetnis shot, we won't be coming back. The "manager" said it was his fault for wearing the shoes. This place is horrible, the staff is rude, it's run down, and apparently the owner has no moral standards nor does he care about business laws. Just praying my boyfriend doesn't get sick now from his lesion. NEVER GO HERE It's not worth the risk.
google avatar

Maria R.

Yelp
This place is horrible! It smells bad, it's dirty the skates are disgusting. There are small ants crawling out of the skates! After swatting two ants from holding the disgusting skates I asked for a refund. The guy said no. He said "ants are no big deal there everywhere"... yeah no I left!! Never will return not even for free!

Vanessa S.

Yelp
Let me start by saying that I booked a private party for my son in April. We had a great experience. The one I booked with was the general manager I believe her name was started with an S. She called and confirmed our date and time. When we got there, her and the staff helped me set up and clean up. The staff and the Dj kept the kids entertained with good music and games. I give that day 5 stars to her and the staff. Let me know around 7 that they will be opening up to the public at 7:30. She let the kids skate while we started cleaning up. She was so professional, very cheerful and nice. I had such a great experience that I told my sister she should have my niece's private party here. The experience was SO HORRIBLE and the worker Anthony was so rude and unprofessional. He let me know that he has work there for 4 years and he knows how to do his job(Good for him for not accomplishing much). He told my sister that if we don't get out on time that he was going to wipe all the stuff off the table and onto the floor. He was so disgustingly tacky. The Dj did not play any games with the kids. The staff said the party starts and 5 but they still need time to get everyone out and clean before she can come in and set up. The staff did not volunteer to help with anything. Anthony wanted to sit there and argue with my sister and myself instead of trying to make the incident better. There was some confusion with the time but he was so unprofessional with the whole situation. I definitely will NEVER book a party here again or even skate here. The general manager should retrain Anthony. This place has become such trash over the years.
google avatar

LaToyia H.

Yelp
They deserve a terrible review. We are here for George School skate event. They are unprepared for the event. No pizza, cookies, or nachos. Cashier said they ran out. How do you run out knowing you have an event. Poor management. Barely any popcorn ready and our event started at 6pm and its now 6:45pm. The cotton candy cost 2.75. The churro cost 2.16 and it was cold and gross.
google avatar

David M.

Yelp
I'd been here years and years ago in middle- and high-school and came back to watch a relative in a roller derby. The bouncer was VERY strict about bringing in outside snacks but thankfully he didn't see the full, open pint glass of beer I was balancing in my jacket pocket. I'm proud of that accomplishment. Parking is pretty limited and if you show up late, you'll end up parking in the dirt. There's a liquor store across the street but we brought our own beer and tailgated while we waited for the line to die down.
google avatar

Anthony Z.

Yelp
The floor was rough almost fell due to conditions of floor and over charge for small drinks not worth the money I paid for whole family was disappointed but found a way to have fun with my family so I just think this place is not bad just has to make some changes. More rules need to be applied when skating on floor. Also a variety of music would be nice. And better customer service.
google avatar

Terry W.

Yelp
I gave this place a decent rating last year but can't stand by it now. This place is a DUMP. They don't even have napkins at the snack bar but I guess it wouldn't hurt the smelly FILTHY carpet to just wipe there. They never adjust the temperature so cold outside means freezing inside. Music is hideously loud (I guess they are trying to drown out the possibility of us complaining) They hand you a pair of rental skates with laces too short to even tie a knot. Today there is no ref on the floor to help out. We had to wait outside in the wind for over 15 minutes because they have a tiny entrance hall with only one window and one employee. (We arrived 15 minutes AFTER the session started). The parking lot is uneven and dangerous especially when it rains. The skate mate is an extra $5 on top of the $10 per child to get in and $3 for skates (its Sunday so they make you pay more for a "free hot dog and little drink". I'd like to say I'll never come again but with so few fun things in the HD I might drag my grandkids back. The handicapped accommodations are a joke. They installed a handicapped stall but the toilet is tiny, low to the ground and there are NO RAILS. The door from that stall only opens outward a few inches and then it hits the entry door to the restroom. There is no way a person in a wheelchair could use that stall. No sink in the bathroom; you have to walk out and use a sink in snack bar area! The only thing worthwhile is watching the occasional good looking old guy re-live his glory days from the 80's LOL
google avatar

Stefani A.

Yelp
My husband broke his wrist there in 2014. Instead of calling the paramedics or tryling to calm my them 7 year old, they asked him to sign "something". If I had been there, he wouldn't have signed anything and we would've contacted an attorney. They are unprofessional and the floor is beat up. They need to make repairs and learn how to care for their customers.

Amanda L.

Yelp
The owners need to step up their game and manager their business like a business and not a circus run by untrained teenagers. Parents who aren't skating get trapped in the building due to the no reenty rule. The admission price changes at the cashiers discretion, my one daughter paid $11.50 including skates, yet my other daughter was charged $9 with her own skates, $1 more than admission. The refs are just kids enjoying free skate and their friends. Certain customers are allowed to cut off kids and donkey kick the half wall for their own enjoyment. The food sucks, but the single star is for the 2 kids who tried so very hard last night to make us quality snacks with subpar frozen foods. And $6 for a pitcher of water is BS. The tables were filthy at 730pm when they opened.

Shannon M.

Yelp
Don't bother!!! Run down, filthy and food is horrible! Cannot use the disgusting bathrooms. This was the go to place when I was younger. I was excited for my kids to go. I was so disappointed.

Elle G.

Yelp
Highly disappointed. I would give this place a no star rating if I could. I booked the most expensive package they offer, which is suppose to include: a private party for 2 hours, DJ and 50 skaters. No more than a half-hour into the party noticed they were allowing transients off the desert street to come in and use the restroom, which made my guest feel uncomfortable for their children. There was no "DJ" and no interaction with my guest, just music playing on a loud speaker. Only time the "DJ" was heard on the mic was to tell us the party was over. There was misunderstanding about the exact times of our time slot and when addressed, the young man who seemed to be the one in charged for the night (I believe his name was Tony) was unprofessional the way he handled the situation and threatened to push all our stuff off the table, on the floor and his crew will put it in the trash if we did not leave on time. As we were leaving an older male (whom I assumed was staff because he was behind the counter), asked us how the party was and when I tried to get answers he just laughed and said he's not the owner. The staff are a bunch of kids with attitude hanging out. I use to first visit this skate center all the time when I was a kid starting back in 1996, so I was excited to host my daughter's 7th birthday party here, but nothing has changed and everything looks like it has never been replaced or repaired since it was first built. Just like the rest of the desert, this place has gone to the dumps. I will never give this establishment my hard earned money ever again.

Ashley M.

Yelp
Brought my son for his birthday and the experience was very disappointing . He has come on field trips for school and they played certain music then (within the last month). When he tried to request a song the Dj said she didn't have it . So he asked for a different song a little later and was told that she didn't have that either . Coming to the conclusion that if it's not what theDj wants it won't be played . We live in a diverse world and would hope that would have a little more diversity in music. Although the music played were "clean" versions they were very sexually explicit for this being a family fun place filled with children. Ordered food (chicken and fries) and were served undercooked chicken. Took it back and she proceeded to reheat the food that we had already eaten off of in the oven. I'm assuming that's where everyone else's food is prepared .....seems unsanitary to me. Not to mention it took a ridiculously long time to get our food reheated . Just disappointed.
google avatar

Anneque H.

Yelp
Very rude customer service the lady at the front desk is horrible no air smells of mold no rules on floor for smaller children. I just feel the customer service is extremly not for the public but I guess because it is family owned and the only rink in area rudeness is acceptable...

Mike H.

Yelp
Brought the family for "family" skating fun for my sons birthday. Well went to request a song and come to find out they only play what the DJ has and if he doesn't have it oh well. The music they play isn't diverse at all they only play r&b and hip hop and nothing more. You would think that if it's family fun center they would such music as in BTS, Taylor Swift, and more pop instead they play nothing as of such
google avatar

Antionette G.

Yelp
Terrible will never take my family back here again first and last time. I'll down the hill and pay extra. Which will not make a difference because they charge for everything. My was thrown at me by the owner so who is for the customers? They were just rude and no safety rules for the regular customers. I was disrespected and made to feel very unwelcome. Go at your own risk. I would give them zero stars if that was an option.

Joanna L.

Yelp
This place is amazing I mean what do you expect if you want to go to a professional skateing rink don't go to Victorville anyways me and my friend go here all the time and we have lots of fun

Yelp
They need to play more hip hop and r&b reason why is because most of their customers are black people nobody can skate to Taylor Swift or Selena Gomez and what not. They need to also update their AC system it like hotter than it is outside, I'm not tryna sound negative but Holiday can be so much better if they fixed it up. I'm a true skater at heart and that skating rink I would have to say is pretty bad. The whole building needs fixing, the skate floor needs to be waxed and re layered the wood is coming up and bumps in the ground where you can seriously hurt yourself, the roof leaks when it rains, the rental skates need to be updated. I have seen to many rentals skates come apart when someone is using them. I'm going to stop here it's just too much work that's needs to be done!!!!
