"The long time family favorite on Ann Arbor’s west side is selling a wide variety of items such as meat, dairy, produce, and baked goods. Household supplies like toilet paper, paper towels, and gloves are also available. Call or order online for curbside pickup." - John Reyes

Indoor outdoor seating. They grow their own vegetables onsite. Breakfast choices are great. My favorite is the 4-egg Omelette. Vegetable Alfredo in creamy seasoned sauce. Our server Brittany was fantastic. Holidays is a very nice place for breakfast lunch or dinner.

The food was good. Could use a bit of an update on the inside of the restaurant. It's got that old restaurant feel. I ordered the hot turkey sandwich with cranberry sauce. Good portions. Enough to fill you up. Their staff was friendly. They also had an outdoor area if you prefer to sit outside and enjoy the weather. Food came out quick. It wasn't too busy when I went.

They were really crowded when we got here but there was a table available. The waitress, Bianca showed up momentarily with coffee and took our order. My wife really liked the breakfast burrito with fresh mushrooms, but I thought the sausage gravy and biscuits with egg was just average. Prices were very reasonable and the service was excellent.

Google
Big selection of food. Wait staff seemed friendly prices good. They seem to have a lot of customers so that is a good sign. All of our food was definitely home made and delicious. If you are in the area I would definitely recommend anyone to give them a try!

Google
It's good diner food and sometimes that's all you want. Cozy atmosphere, friendly waitresses, comfort food, cheap prices, and large portions. Price to portion ratio is good. Quality was pretty good. It wasn't overly salty or greasy like a lot of diners. I'd come back again if I'm in the area and the craving strikes me. :) There's nothing quite like flattop scrambled eggs.

Decided to stop by for breakfast with family and was semi let down. We had 2 separate waiters/waitresses stop by after we already ordered and gave us menus and just left them at the table. Food did come out pretty fast but all at different times. The cinnamon swirl french toast tasted almost identical to the normal French toast and it was a smaller portion. There seemed to be only 1 trained wait staff as the rest were very awkward and unprofessional. I would give an extra half star if I could.

I was seated quickly, taken care of nicely by Jennifer, food was out quick and tasted amazing. Very prompt, polite crew. Price was fair for the food quality too. Definitely will come back.

Soon as we came in the door they treated us like family took our order really fast very proportionate. The staff was very cordial and polite. The food price for the size was amazing great tasting food!

Yelp
Good home style food. Good service. Kids love it. Typically quiet inside. Nice to sit outside too with the covered patio. Favs: Classic Reuben Turkey dinner Western Benedict Kids go to: Pancakes Fries Fresh orange juice

Yelp
We ordered chips and salsa and medium buffalo wings to start. The chips had a good crispy texture but the salsa was bland. My husband that the wings were meh. The medium sauce was on the sweeter side. I ordered the meatloaf and got the beef barley soup which was decent. I got the beef barley soup which was pretty good. Nice, warm, and deliciously salty. I loved the family diner atmosphere. The menu was extensive with many comfort food options. My daughter got an omelette and loved it. My meatloaf had a bit too much gravy and I wasn't keen on the taste so I did not ear it. They have great desserts! I think we will come back for breakfast and brunch because their breakfast food menu is extensive and looks delicious.

Yelp
Hands down my favorite place for steak and eggs. They actually serve you a real steak and not one of those flavorless thin breakfast steaks. I had a rare hiccup last week for the first time in years and the manager called me to apologize and remedy the situation. You cant beat the great service and food here. Thanks Holidays!

Yelp
Absolutely the Best Food, Best Atmosphere, Best Service! Family Owned and Operated! The Best!

Susan M.

Yelp
A breakfast favorite! Corned beef hash...mmmm. Friendly staff and the food is yummy. Nice to buy local.

Maria Y.

Yelp
Consistently good, hot, traditional breakfast food! Service is decently fast without feeling rushed. A lot of tables, can accommodate large groups. Went on Sat at 10:30. Vestibule had about 15 people waiting but the owner (?) told us 10-15 min and he was spot on! Staff is always friendly. We had Angie today and she got my hubby's and my order correct. Especially when he got the egg white omelette. So many restaurants don't "hear" the egg white part of the order. He was happy! I hade the Homemade Hash and chose eggs over easy. Perfectly cooked, hash was very tender, not chewy. It all came out hot. Decir is nothing fancy, has a homey feel to it. We were in a booth by the window with a bird feeder outside, so it was fun to see the birds bickering for food. Atmosphere is loud and bustling, but didn't bother me. I am from Grand Rapids and l imagine this is a great local breakfast spit with reasonable prices. Been here a few times now and will keep coming back. Well done, Holiday's!

Holly E.

Yelp
I had breakfast, food was ok and service was decent. My server was attentive despite how busy they were. The table with the ignorant racist who kept spouting off in his outdoor voice ruined it all. He and his friends must be regulars cause the staff did not say a word to him. I won't be back.

Yelp
Today my sister and I visited this restaurant for the first time, recommended by another local business we went to. Nice community supporting each other The greeter was very nice and asked if we wanted to sit out on the patio or inside. We chose inside and she then said, "Well how about a seat by the window so you can still enjoy the patio?" which was Very nice: large tent with many metal patio tables and chairs w/ cushions. The perimeter was landscaped upwards to block the view and noise from the 5 lane roadway. Many flowers in containers, baskets and pots. There's an area next to the patio where they've planted a garden for the vegetables they'll use in their meals! Around the perimeter of the building they have decorative plants with tomato plants in between, sunflowers were also on the rise. This menu was huge so I didn't take a photo (because the smaller font would've been hard to read) but it had just about everything on it. I asked our fantastic server Jennifer, "What are you famous for here?" and she rattled off numerous facts starting with, "If there's something that isn't good, it's not on the menu. Many homemade meals: pot roast, meatloaf, our turkey is real off the bone turkey not a "lunch meat type" the corned beef is good. Our mashed potatoes are real potatoes, nothing else. Our fish is cod or salmon, also fresh we don't use frozen. Burgers are popular, sandwiches of all kinds. We serve breakfast all day but the one thing I wouldn't recommend at this time of day (5 pm) would be the sausage gravy because it's not as fresh. Homemade soups, we're known for our pies especially the cream pies: banana and coconut." My sister had meat loaf w/ mashed potatoes and I had 1 of the Specials: spaghetti and meatballs (I chose meat sauce over marinara). Both the meat loaf and meatballs were so delicious and flavorful, my spaghetti was cooked well adenté and Texas toast garlic bread. Both our plates were steaming hot when delivered to the table. We both had house salads which were a good size: fancier mixed greens, the mildest red onion I've ever tasted, homemade croutons which were wonderfully seasoned and almost disintegrated because they weren't rock hard and scraping up your mouth. Typical salad dressings but I chose ranch because it was... homemade! I noticed they had a fancier coffee station with syrups to make lattes or flavored coffee. Our server was so attentive, friendly and helpful, including her interactions with her trainee Jackie(?) that I could overhear. The booth tabletops had ads promoting other local businesses and a spot in the middle to play Tic Tac Toe and Hangman with dry erase markers! Ambiance was warm and inviting, great for larger groups/ parties, good for kids and dress is casual to as fancy as you want to be that day! Facilities were clean, spacious. Large private parking lot. Unsure if they served alcohol but I had the vibe that they did; call ahead if you need to know. In the small 'lobby' between the 2 sets of doors they even had a bookshelf! Which I thought was very cool Prices were $$-$$$, appropriate for the high level of food quality, customer service and satisfaction we received. Which makes it very easy to say that I highly recommend you try this local business! We live 35-40 miles away but we will be back again!

Yelp
Since the start of the pandemic, the thing I have missed the most is brunch. A big ol' plate of crispy hashbrowns, pancakes, eggs, the full nine. We've ordered from a few places and they've been good but Holiday's is the first place that, while eating my meal, I exclaimed "THIS IS WHAT I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR!" The order arrived quickly and ahead of schedule. The hashbrowns, despite being in a delivery container, were still crispy and hot. My eggs were cooked perfectly and my short stack of pancakes was beyond satisfying. My husband got a ham and cheddar omelet and he was thrilled with his as well. Portions were very generous to boot. Shortly after I placed our order I got a phone call from the restaurant. I expected it to be that they ran out of something or had some problem, but instead it was just that they wanted to double check our toast choices. So nice! Ordering from here may just end up a weekly occurrence!

Yelp
This restaurant was so amazing ! They offered so many options on the menu. The staff was so friendly . The restaurant was so clean . The bathroom was the cleanest public restroom i have been in recently . I had a great experience from top to bottom . We will be back !

Yelp
Greatest Family meeting Spot in Ann Arbor. Rob and Jennifer Owners has 6 children in Training great Hosts. Moral Christian Family. Teaches their adult children the value of hard work in making their customers happy. Don't believe me, most of this Restaurant are repeat Customers and 100% positive feelings about this place. all ages from senior home repeat to young customers. I often find 3 or 4 generations families father. Family is primo and most combined Ethnic Workers we are all welcome. The food is very affordable and great!! Allergy conscience and trained. I'm gluten intolerant. My waitress and owners will tell me I can't eat something because I know I am gluten intolerant most restaurants in this town care less from my allergies, healthy food and friendly smiles. Even when they're swamped, I can see the paid and everything's always smiles. I feel like at home service fantastic. The atmosphere is great. Five stars understatement.

Yelp
Of course I had driven past this restaurant dozens of times but what finally lured me in was the development of their patio and later a tent over the patio. It is a good solid restaurant with a big menu, but the reason I go in is for their breakfasts. The top thing on their menu for me is their homemade corned beef hash. They have a senior menu which many of my friends take advantage of while I am gobbling down my hash. See you there.

Yelp
It's Friday the 13th and we stopped by Holiday's to grab lunch with friends. We had an excellent experience. I'm upgrading my previous 3-star rating to 4 bright stars based on outstanding service (courteous and efficient) as well as great food quality. I had my usual Taco Salad while others at our table had a pair of sandwiches and an omelette. All of our meals drew positive comments and hit the spot. Holiday's delivered a solid cafe experience on the west side of Tree-town.

Janet L.

Yelp
I love Holiday's restaurant! For breakfast it's the best. The omelettes are great and the breakfast specials are good, basic and priced nice. Good coffee. friendly professional service. It's a down home kinda place, nothing over the top fancy. I have only ever had breakfast here, but my friend goes for lunch and dinner and also likes it.

Alex Z.

Yelp
Great diner food with an equally great staff and service. I'd definitely come back for breakfast next time I'm in the area.

Yelp
So, I decided to do an updated review of Holidays. My previous review still stands in regard to the percent charged for using a card, however, it's a local small business that stayed open during the pandemic and I appreciate that. It tells me This is a good business and they care for their employees! I went in the other night and got three pot roast dinners. With beef barley soup-These meals were as home made as my grandmothers! The pot roast itself was so tender, fell right apart (my dog, who is the pickiest eater, even loved it!) The soup tasted just like homemade soup my grandmother used to make. Yum yum. Was planning on cheeseburger soup today, got there and they had already closed. (Sundays only til 3!) I was so bummed. Thanks for the phone call to let me know you had it!

Lynn M.

Yelp
I ordered 24 Turkey dinners for my staff and it was absolutely amazing. Couldn't have been more satisfied with the pick up of the order. The order was ready exactly when they said it would be and all the sides were separated.. the cranberries the gravy etc. The meals were individually wrapped in a container and they were hot and delicious. Everyone loved the meal. Thank you Holiday's!!!!

D H.

Yelp
This is our favorite breakfast spot. They never disappoint. The prices are reasonable and frankly a little low for Ann Arbor. The sweet potato eggs Benedict is amazing! Our kids love the pancakes and for lunch the Reuben is top notch. The customer service is what stands out the most, they are always there to refill coffee and are so friendly. A family friendly environment They do also serve alcohol, the Bloody Mary's are tasty.

Phước N.

Yelp
I had the country meat loaf dinner with a side of broccoli and the barley beef soup. The soup was delicious. The meatloaf was amazing, I love that they put some green peppers in there to enhance the flavors. Some other places meatloaf tends to have way too more bread than meat but Holidays has more meat than bread. The serving portion was perfect. Oh ask them for their outside sitting, they have a beautiful garden right next to their parking lot.

Yelp
We really like this place. We moved to an apartment about a ten-minute walk from Holiday's and it took us a few months to finally check it out. We are sorry we waited. This is neither a high-end steakhouse nor a typical diner. It is something entirely unique. The menu is varied and has something for everyone. They also have some craft beer and wine. It also looked like they had some spirits as well. We both went with burgers. I had the patty melt. It was terrific. My husband loved his burger, too. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. We plan to visit often and try more of the menu. If you are in town, you should check it out. It is not far from the Big House or Downtown, so you can include it in whatever trip you plan.

Maeve D.

Yelp
A solid choice any time of day. I've come for breakfast and enjoyed the food. I've come for dinner and enjoyed the food. Neither time was overly busy or loud and the service was friendly and quick. They have a full bar which is a plus and have some deals prior to home Michigan football and basketball games, which is nice since they aren't too far from either stadium/arena. While this place has been around FOREVER, I've only recently visited but wish I had gone earlier. It's almost like a hole in the wall type place because even though it has a sign out front, it's fairly easy to drive by and not notice. However, I absolutely recommend stopping in for a quick bite if you're in the area!

Joe P.

Yelp
I came across Holiday's while planning a trip to the Big House. The menu has a little bit of everything, the service was welcoming, and overall, we all left very satisfied. From the outside, Holiday's reminds me of a family owned version of Denny's but the food options are much more appealing since they offer beer and pasta dishes wish you will not find at most chain brunch places. For an outsider (from Ohio no less!) coming on a Saturday afternoon, I was glad breakfast was still available as I went with the breakfast potato skins which were basically a veggie omelet on crispy potato skins with ranchero sauce, and it really satisfied a craving I didn't know existed. My wife ordered one of the specials, the Blackberry Grilled cheese, which comes on sourdough with blackberry ham, bacon, mozzarella cheese and you can add jalapenos to spice it up, which she did. I was surprised by how much I enjoyed it and will definitely try making my bootleg version at home. The other person in our party got the Thick and Juicy Burger which was just a plain hamburger and added fries which were very tasty. All in all, the food was fine but nothing spectacular, the service and location were exactly what we wanted, but my only criticism would be about the pricing. Some of the breakfast items seem overpriced and shied me away from ordering them, and it seems like every item has something to add on that costs more money. The Blackberry grilled cheese for example can is $8 already but if you want jalapeños it is $1 more, or the burgers start around $7 and do not include fries but they can be added for $2. Make sure you read the details thoroughly or you might be surprised when you get your bill! I would give a 3.5-star review if possible here, but I will round up here because we had such a good weekend in Ann Arbor. I highly recommend checking out the city and stopping by Holiday's for a quick breakfast/brunch meal on the way out.

Avery P.

Yelp
Holiday's is our Wednesday breakfast spot. My boyfriend and I walk in every morning and are greeted by either a server or the owner. "Good morning you two." We're either walked to a relatively calm section or told to go to our usual spot. Our waitress Jazmyn remembers our order every time and we adore her. Can't wait for her to return from maternity leave. All our other waitstaff is wonderful and warm and friendly. Breakfast is incredibly priced for two folks, one being a hungry hungry dude. The food is so good and SO quick. We hardly go a Wednesday without seeing them and getting our breakkie. We've gone every week since we started dating. It feels like a tradition they're a part of too and we wouldn't change it. Even after our move 20 minutes away, we're coming back!!!!

Yelp
A typical "Greek Diner" with all that goes along with that style of local eatery (note for those of you who may not be familiar with this term, a Greek Diner is not a Greek Restaurant but rather an establishment owned and operated by people with some claims to Greek heritage. At some point in the 20th century a great number of Greek immigrants came to the US and opened up diners with their own particular style which can now be found all over the country. There may be one of two Greek inspired dishes on the menu, but the vast majority of the food is good old basic American comfort food.) There are no surprises here (good or bad.) The portions are large, the food quality is good, and the service is friendly and efficient. If this is the type of establishment you are seeking you will not be disappointed at Holiday's. We particularly enjoy their outdoor seating in the mornings as it is shaded from the direct sun and reasonably isolated from the adjacent main road. Their outdoor seating might be a bit hot in the late afternoons and early evenings as it would be in direct sunlight (table umbrellas are provided.) We have enjoyed seeing their vegetable garden and assume that some of this produce makes its way into the food.

Josh B.

Yelp
Awesome! Every aspect of my experience here today was top notch. The staff was super friendly and helpful with recommendations. The food was delicious. I had the breakfast bonanza omelette with house fries and chiptole mayo on the side. They also offered regular and dark roast coffee. Both tasted great. I can't wait to come back!

G P.

Yelp
Holiday's should be your neighborhood spot. It's definitely mine. They fit the "diner" bill to the T - solid food, friendly staff, reasonable prices, and a comfy vibe. Give it a run if you're new in town - maybe it'll become your neighborhood spot, too!

Lise G.

Yelp
I can't believe that I haven't left a review for this wonderful restaurant, yet! From the moment you come in the door to when you leave, you will be happy you came in and will want to come back. When you open the extensive menu to the daily specials during the week for lunch and for dinner, there will be something that will fill the bill and your stomach. Take for instance the Holiday's Twisted BLT, Chopped Sirloin Dinner, Reuben Sandwich(Best in town), Salmon Dinner(hand filleted), Spinach Pie, Smoky Mountain Chicken, Eggs Benedict and a great Soup and Salad Bar, these are some of my favorite meals, here. Breakfast is served all day. You can even wash it all down with a selection from taps of craft beer(some local)or bottled beer, wine or cocktails. And, then if you still have room, choose from the wonderful deserts like banana and coconut cream pies...which are hand made by Neo, fruit pies, cheesecakes and my favorite Lava Cake. The Staff are always happy to greet you and make your experience the best!

Nicole G.

Yelp
We were greeted promptly, the waitress was polite and offered up menu information since it was our first visit. We were given plenty of time to check over the menu and food was served quickly. The decor is rather dated and it was kind of dark but the restrooms seemed to be updated recently. The idea of a salad bar this day and age is quite brave. I'm sure everything was fine but it just isn't something I would partake in. It is right at the front door and is the first thing you see when walking in. The food was decent and the service was fine so we would go back but there are SO many other options nearby at the same price point that we are in no rush to return.

Jenni J.

Yelp
My fiancé and I had just gotten back from a trip and didn't have any food at our place, so we decided to have lunch here before going grocery shopping. I don't typically eat at diners because the food can be heavy, but Holidays was just amazing. I ordered a sandwich and my fiancé had a breakfast wrap, and both were made with incredibly fresh vegetables and weren't oily or buttery at all. The meal was light, satisfying, and I felt great after eating. Generous cuts of fresh lettuce, slices of green avocado, hearty tomatoes, and crispy bell peppers. The bread and tortilla were light and airy and could have just been baked. This place won't leave you feeling bloated, it'll leave you feeling good about the meal you ate. Additionally, service was wonderful. The owner (I believe) was present and offered us more coffee, and the waitress was kind and quick on her feet. We don't eat out much, but we will absolutely be returning here!

Tiahna P.

Yelp
This place is great. They have fantastic food and the waitresses are even more than fantastic! Even with a complicated order, our waitress got EVERYTHING right and did it with a smile on her face, something I'm very thankful for. This place is military and veteran friendly, something that pulled at my heart. I will definitely be a frequenter here from now on.

Vickie A.

Yelp
I've seen their commercial several times and decided to give Holiday a try. A friendly staff greeted us when we entered. I noticed they have a bar, although we were eating breakfast. The menu offered a variety of options. They also have specials and brunch on the weekend. Both meals were ample and delicious. I would suggest giving them a try.

Jacob C.

Yelp
WAS DELICIOUS! Me and my dad are from out of town and were on our way to another place when we saw this place. So so glad we stopped one of the BEST burgers I have had and I have been all over the country. Awesome service and if I am ever passing through here I will 100% be back.

Paul K.

Yelp
Came for a Friday night "all-you-can-eat" Fish Fry....for $13.99, all you can eat fish and chips, with 1 trip to the soup/salad bar. Unfortunately, it's not all-you-can-eat when the waiter fails to come back to your table for the entire meal, so that you're essentially left to eat ONE plate or wait over an hour to get a second plate. We came fairly early during the dinner service, so it wasn't very busy, yet the overall time in the restaurant to order and get offered a 2nd plate of fish was ~75 minutes. We asked for a dessert menu, yet when the waiter didn't come back within another 15 minutes....we just paid for the dinner and left. For the food itself, it was ok, although fried fish got soggy within a few minutes. Salad bar was small and the lettuce was slightly wilted. All in all, disappointed with my first time here. The reviews for breakfast all seem a lot better, so will need to try out the restaurant then.

Cesilie C.

Yelp
Great food and great service. The home fries are outstanding and we have always been happy with all of our other food. We love Angie and her kind demeanor. Thank you!!

Alicia S.

Yelp
It took over three years for me to try this place because it honestly just doesn't seem like it would be good. It looks like an independent Coco's, so my expectations were low. But we were out and about one evening on the west side of town, tummies were rumbling, and we said hey, why not. Honestly, we were so pleasantly surprised! They have great fries, I loved my tuna melt, my son ate his entire grilled cheese (which never happens, and I was really wanting some of it because it looked delish). They are also very kid friendly; a big bucket of crayons and a stack of coloring books to choose from. I went back a few weeks later and took my mom for breakfast when she visited, and I didn't love the breakfast as much but it was pretty decent. I got biscuits and gravy and my biscuit was pretty dry. The fried potatoes are good but they are huge pieces and pretty oily. Good decaf coffee though! I do wish they had real cream instead of the disposable minis at the table, but something tells me that if I asked, they probably would bring some out from the back. Another thing that gives this place serious points for me was that they had peanut butter in the back for my son's pancakes. We don't do syrup and I usually bring my own peanut butter for his pancakes because most diners don't have it. I forgot this time but Holidays had some and they saved the day! Went back a third time (this time for lunch) and we were again pleasantly surprised. Picky kiddo ate his whole grilled cheese again, I got a really good BLT with a cup of veggie soup (also really good), and my hubby got a BLT with clam chowder. His only gripe was that the chowder was really thick (almost pudding consistency) but some people like that. I probably won't switch to Holiday's from my other go-to breakfast places, but this is a great spot for a family friendly lunch or dinner! Good food, friendly staff, reasonable prices. If you've been hesitant to try it, just go! You might be pleasantly surprised too.

Sky E.

Yelp
Very mediocre, has good Google reviews and we're not sure why. Should be a $$ not a $, at least for the lunch and dinner menu.

Rachel A.

Yelp
It's very close to where I live so it's convenient. However, I ordered a chicken sandwich and it was a processed chicken patty. You could tell because the inside was like a chicken nugget. I feel like it's very doable to bread your own chicken breast and fry it. McDonald's has better quality chicken then what I received.

Paul W.

Yelp
This has to be one of Ann Arbor's least impressive diners. Gyros and chili are fundamentals of the diner menu, and Holiday's struck out with both. The meat on my wife's gyro was greasy and had all the zest of an off-brand hot dog, though she thought the fries were fine. The chili was essentially beans, meat and a little heat that didn't manage to mingle with and complement one another. I ordered the spanokopita with my chili...an unusual combo, but when I saw it on the menu a whim struck me. This was unfortunate. The filling actually wasn't bad, but the crust comprised the soggiest, greasiest phyllo I've ever seen. "Well, that's not something you should order at a coney joint anyway," some might say. But I've done it elsewhere in town and been very happy with the results. The atmosphere didn't help the meal any. Several vacated tables near us had dirty plates on them the entire time we were there--maybe Holiday's was understaffed that night. There was an odor in the air that I couldn't quite pin down, but suggested the kitchen was overdue for a cleaning. Given the number of cars I usually see in the lot when I drive by, Holiday's must do something right. But they sure didn't do right by us.

Liz W.

Yelp
The usual suspects and then some. Prices are good and the service is consistent in a positive way. I especially like breakfast here. Get the home fries crispy and try an omelet (Greek!) or some homemade corned beef hash. Biscuits and gravy are a satisfying pick too. My last visit they had specials like pumpkin pancakes, breakfast crepes, Holiday skillets and some damn tasty cranberry orange French toast. You can tell what won. I loved every bite. I'm a sucker for cranberry orange for sure, add in some bacon and I am set. Dinners here work too but I am a diner breakfast type girl. I love that the OJ is fresh squeezed, I don't drink it but I appreciate it. I do drink the mighty leaf teas though and am happy for them. The coffee here is decent too. Especially for this type of joint. They have recently remodeled and now serve beer and wine to boot. Bad wines but decent beers, hey Two Hearted will work for me. The also have Founder's breakfast stout and some Wolverine dark lager. You can even find Flannel Mouth. Hmmmm. Maybe I should come again for dinner. Join the e club and such and get deals, specials and other perks.

Yelp
I love me some brunch and I like going to as many brunch places as possible. This place doesnt look like much but its on of those really good, cheap diners that pull off brunch really well. I got the taco skillet and thw red velvet panckes. The pancakes were fantastic(Im a fan of red velvet), the fact that they had red velvet which are way more rare than they should be was a plus. The taco skillet was really good much to my surprise, plus the over easy eggs were well done. A few too many peppers and onions in my opinion but if thats youre thing go for it. Also helped that you can get a side of sausage gravy! Plus the place is super cheap! Definitely give it a shot.

Yelp
Breakfast items I read are best to order from Holidays so that's what I went with. Ordered the Greek omelet with American fries crispy. Well done omelet, fluffy and with good amounts of feta. American fries are delicious. Service was impeccable and on point- friendly, courteous- quick responses. I will be back - for breakfast!

Yelp
Oh my gosh! I just enjoyed the best rueben sandwich here. It was the perfect blend of flavors. The corned beef was cooked perfectly and very yummy. My husband had the fish and chips and my daughter had cinnamon French Toast. Everything was perfect with good-sized portions. BONUS - THEY HAVE MIMMOSA'S and other breakfast drinks. I am sooo coming back! Jody the server was amazing with great recommendations. In fact I didn't even know I wanted dessert. Thanks Jody, the rice pudding was fantastic.

Yelp
We were pleasantly surprised with Holiday's. There's nothing fancy about it, but the people are nice and their food is solid. We first came for lunch with some friends. Little Girl got the kids' fish and chips, and I had their taco salad. The portions were both large - Little Girl's kids' portion would have been enough for me. The fish was lightly battered and perfectly crispy. The fries were quite good, too! The taco salad was so good, I ordered it again the next time we came. Our second lunch, Hubs ordered a Reuben, which he said was exactly what he wanted. The meat was flavorful, but not fatty. Little Girl had chicken strips. Again, they were perfectly crispy, and her fries were good. Their service is friendly, and prices are reasonable. All in all, we will continue to come here, and I gladly recommend it to anyone looking for standard American diner fare.

Yelp
Zero stars for literal lack of service. Two stars for okay food on previous visits. In the last 18 months I have lunched here a few times with companions who know the owners. Service was fine, food was fresh and had flavor. Extensive menu choices will fit most diets. They are locally owned. So a few weeks ago, tired from running errands, I chose Holiday's as a pleasant spot to lunch and regroup. It was the end of the main lunch hour, about 1:30 p.m.. When I entered, the older woman at the register had her back to the door and didn't acknowledge me. Thinking she was concentrating on the accounts and hadn't heard me, I asked where I should sit. She told me to sit wherever I liked. I chose a booth near the windows, a few spots beyond the couple of tables still occupied. I waited for a server. And waited some more. By then only one other table close to the front was still occupied. A server inquired whether they needed anything else, chatted with the customers for a minute, looked toward me, then disappeared. I waited for her to return with water and menu. She didn't. A man came out of the kitchen and began moving soup kettles (?) off the counter. He looked my way too, and disappeared. I'd been there almost 15 minutes, still no servers visible. I didn't feel like going to track someone down in the kitchen or lounge or wherever staff might be hiding. After 20 minutes I decided to find a restaurant that wants my business. As I stood and gathered my things, a woman came out of the back area with a glass of water and menus. She went straight to - two booths in front of me, where a woman who had just walked in the door was headed!! As I walked out past her, neither she nor a busboy near the front said anything to me. Apparently Holiday's Restaurant is actually a private club and you need to arrive with a letter of recommendation from an existing member.

Yelp
Wish I could give this a 6th star rating. We've been here about a dozen times and each time the food was excellent... didn't matter whether it was breakfast, lunch or dinner though we've been here mostly for breakfast which is excellent. Nothing less. Staff is friendly and attentive and food is always served quickly and piping hot. We'll come back here more even though it's a 25 minute ride from our house.

Yelp
This restaurant has much improved since my family and I swore them off about 8 years ago. Good menu, friendly service, and pretty good food. My son and I stopped in for a quick breakfast on a Saturday early afternoon. He gobbled down the southwest burger and raved about it with each mouthfull. I had eggs, potatoes, bacon toast and a half order of the biscuts and gravy. Did I mention I was with a teenager. He ate his burger and half my breakfast as I expected and it was all very good. We were in an out in our allotted time, for which I was thankful, and we will definitely be back again. Bonus - they know how to properly cook eggs. Over medium means whites cooked, yolks running. Some places don't get it.

Yelp
Where else, in an urban setting, can you see the vegetables growing that may end up in you salad or soup. Service is always good, food is great and reasonably priced. We probably eat here at least once a week for either breakfast lunch or dinner. Always leave satisfied.

Yelp
Met up with a larger group and they were able to accommodate us fairly quickly. I got the Southwest Burger which comes with fries...wow both the burger and fries were amazing!!! The fries are crispy and have so much flavor! Our service was very attentive and friendly, the prices aren't bad and I loved the Coney Island feel!!

Yelp
If you're in Ann Arbor you should be going to a nicer restaurant than this. Unless you really like to read ads printed on your table's formica top. Update: Rob is a good sport, and the waitress was nice
