Hollmann Beletage Design & Boutique Hotel (Vienna, Austria) 8 Hotel Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"Spacious rooms, high modern style, in the center of old-town Vienna, all at a relatively modest price — it couldn’t possibly add up, could it? However they manage it, the Hollmann Beletage is a rare beast: a small and intimate boutique hotel, almost a bed-and-breakfast, but a thoroughly modern one, with a location that’s just about unbeatable." - Tablet Hotels

We were only here for a night, but we were super impressed! The room was spacious and clean - easily accommodated my family of four. And despite being right above the street, it was super quiet. Great location and easy to reach all the attractions downtown. Loved the free midday snacks and the breakfast was great as well. Everyone was super friendly as well. We felt very welcome. I will not hesitate to book this hotel when we come back to Vienna!

This is a very quirky hotel and we loved staying here. The staff was exceptional and the breakfast was delicious. The hotel is central to the U Lines and the City Center. The room was very unusual, but we had no issues and we felt very comfortable during our stay.

This is a truly unique, quirky and fun boutique hotel. Service was attentive and personalized. Our room was small, but efficient. The location can’t be beat. The breakfast is a standout!

Boutique beauty! Firstly, location location location - I wouldn’t want to stay in any other location. Beautiful small streets surround the hotel, yet you’re only a short 5 minute walk to busy touristy Stephen Platz and all the shops etc. Secondly, the staff are all so amazing and you instantly feel a friend who’s visiting. Reception and the breakfast cafe area - everyone was so incredibly helpful, friendly, welcoming. Thirdly, the hotel is so beautiful, quirky and so stylish. Every detail has been thought of. The rooms are large and airy thanks to the high ceilings. Beds are super comfy and king sized. A truly unique and wonderful experience.

Staff were friendly and helpful, the location is fantastic, located near to lots of restarants and shops. The food at breakfast is lovely with a good choice and there was an unexpected bonus afternoon snack which was included in the price. Rooms were clean and comfortable, air conditioned which was good as we had hot weather.

My family and I had an amazing time at the hotel for three nights while exploring Vienna. The staff was incredible, and the breakfast was one of the best we’ve had in years at a boutique hotel. There were plenty of food options within a short walk.|Unfortunately, the heat was quite intense while we were there, and the AC in the rooms couldn’t keep up. But the staff was quick to arrange fans, so we were able to stay cool.

Exceptional staff and heartfelt support!|We’ve been long-term guests at this hotel, and each stay reminds us why we always return. During our most recent visit, the staff went above and beyond to support me through a medical emergency, while showing such genuine care and kindness to my husband and children. Their professionalism, warmth, and compassion were truly exceptional. We are deeply grateful and will continue to come back time and time again.

This hotel is excellent. We did have a slight problem at check in but the manager Marie-Louise and her team were quick to offer a solution. |Hands down the best customer service. The hotel is clean modern well kept. Breakfast choices were amazing. The chef is great.

Yelp
While typically I cannot go recommending a hotel simply because they do a beautiful breakfast, Hollmann Beletage serves up what might just be the best morning meals I have ever had in a hotel. I'm talking fresh juice, eggs made to order, meats and cheeses, fresh fruit, bread, pastries - all included in the nightly rate. Not only that - the rooms are well-appointed, the sheets soft, the wifi reliable and the location central. For the discerning traveler wanting a truly local experience, it's hard to imagine there's a better hotel in Vienna. In fact the only thing missing at the Hollmann Beletage is a lively bar scene. This unique hotel's a little more like staying at a hip friend's flat and waking up to find a chef in the kitchen preparing you breakfast. If you require 24 front desk reception or room service it might not be the right pick. But if you're just fine letting yourself in and you don't mind getting dressed to eat, head over to the nearby Hollmann's Salon and have your drinks and dinner there. I'd definitely rate Hollmann Beletage right up there with some of my other favourite hotels - The Ace, New York; The Drake, Toronto; The Hoxton, London; The Soho House, Berlin; The Louis, Munich; CitizenM, Amsterdam - and look forward to sleeping with them again soon.

Yelp
I stayed here with my husband over Christmas on our honeymoon, and I can't imagine a better, homier hotel anywhere. Seriously, this is my favorite hotel I've ever stayed in, full stop. Every hotel I stay in now will be compared to the Hollmann Beletage. We found the place fine (look for an orange overhang), and were able to walk from the Wien Mitte train station after taking the CAT from the airport. Extremely convenient city location! The front desk staff was welcoming and helpful for anything we needed. They have limited hours, but I don't require any assistance overnight, so it was not an issue at all. The room was quite large, with a very comfortable king sized bed right in the middle. Separate WC, shower stall on the side, sink adjacent to the headboard, a desk, a couch, and a comfortable chair. We were here for 5 nights and 6 days, so we were very happy to have big closets to unpack and the couch to hang out and read on. The room was cleaned every day and the first day we were given Pez candies on our pillow. (Not sure if we should have gotten these every day, but we only got them one day/five). We were also provided slippers and robes, which are basically necessities for me in a hotel, especially in the winter. I prefer not to travel with my own robe, but as a long haired girl in a hotel room with limited towels, this amenity means a lot to me. We loved the breakfast each morning! In an intimate room on the top floor, a small but efficient team serve up truly delicious food. There was always a selection of rolls/croissants, meats and cheeses, jams, nutella, fruit salad, and granola and toppings. Additionally, one could order a made-to-order dish as well as any espresso drink or tea. All this was included in the price of the room, which we thought provided a great value. The Hollmann Beletage has a lot of personal, homey touches that truly made us feel comfortable. There were games on the 1st floor we could take down and play, as well as couches to lounge on (with throw blankets!) and magazines. In this area, there were also small sandwiches, delicious Kugelhopf (cake), and sparkling wine set out in the afternoon each day. I've never hung out in the common area of a hotel before, but we took advantage of this every afternoon happened to be in the hotel, and we were not the only ones! On the top floor, there was another common area, with tea and whiskey set up in the afternoon, a computer and printer available, and a lovely fireplace. Because we were here in December, there was also a Christmas tree!!! On Christmas morning, the staff placed packages for the guests in each room under the tree of their lovely homemade jam. Such a special touch! I would not only stay at his hotel whenever I am in Vienna, but I would plan my trip around the hotel's availability, as it is a boutique hotel with only 24 rooms. We stayed at the Penta Hotel in Vienna the night before we flew out, and it only confirmed my love and strong preference for the HB. Don't hesitate to book a room here, you will love it!

Yelp
Excellent customer service. The hotel is just a few blocks from the nearest U-Bahn and in the heart of old Vienna but it's not lacking for space or comfort -- the rooms are spacious and well designed, loads of public space, and plenty of high quality free food is floating around. Highly recommend.

Yelp
The Hollmann Beletage is an über cool boutique hotel perfectly located in the heart of the Innere Stadt of Vienna. Upon arrival, I was a bit worried, it looked like I was entering a somewhat shabby apartment block, however, I quickly found the main door to the Beletage and was immediately impressed. The lobby and common areas are clean and very trendy. There is a small old school cinema in the middle of the first floor which even serves freshly popped pop corn. There are very living room-esque common areas which are great for a quick read or an impromptu meeting. There are also several brightly orange colored bicycles to borrow. My room itself, was large with a massive canopy bed in the middle of the room. Instead of night-time chocolates I received a Pez dispenser and some pez candy on my pillow--what a nifty treat! There was also a bowl of fresh fruit upon arrival. The king-sized bed was comfy though I was a bit dismayed that instead of one large duvet. it came with 2 twin duvets. The rain forest shower was nice and surprisingly located in a closet like alcove---don't worry it is bigger than you'd think. Wifi was free and fast and allowed multiple devices (phone, ipad, and laptop of course) to connect seamlessly. British Airways lost mt luggage on the way to Vienna, but the front desk lady was super helpful offering complimentary toothpaste and toothbrush, helped me find a late night convenience store (harder than you would think in Vienna) and a store that opened up early enough to buy some fresh clothes before my conference. Miriam W is spot on about the breakfast---included in the room rate is a culinary feast of cured meats, fresh croissants and breads, yogurts, and fruits. One of the top breakfasts I've had in some time. Note this is not your typical hotel---the front desk is only open during business hours, however, it's very easy to get in and out of the hotel after hours. Definitley will be staying at the Beletage during future trips to Vienna!

Yelp
The room came with a fruit stand, and a Pez dispenser for each guest! We were confused at first as to why the Pez, but then looked it up and found out that Pez was invented in Vienna. Haha..who woulda thought :) The bed is not one large bed, but rather two smaller beds pushed together, with same sheet but separate duvets. The hotel is located in a rather quiet area on the north side of the inner ring. Access to public transportation is about a 5 minute walk. Stephansdom is within walking distance. The pros 1. I love the open bathroom 2. Great design, spacious rooms, large windows 3. You can rent free iPads! 4. Friendly staff 5. The breakfast is really good, although service can be a bit slow 6. Free lockers on the ground floor to store luggage with a € 2 deposit The downsides 1. There were two tiny bugs crawling around in the bathroom. They were about the size of a period. One was on the wall, and one was on the roll of toilet paper 2. The staff does not stay late, so be wary if you need to check in late
