Took. my boss from Joburg for a bunny today at Hollywood in Springfield, the bunny was not the same, no saltand not at all like it used to be but what was the worst was the service. Very very poor. Their standards have dropped drastically. Hope that the have a look at the cameras to see how shoddy their service has gotten (date 06/11/2025)

Since they began business on Roswell Street, they CONSTANTLY park in no parking areas which clogs the small street causing problems for everyone in the neighborhood. There’s dumped furniture blocking the sidewalk in front of their building and junkies migrate to it. The smell from the dumpsters is horrible! They are attracting homeless people and seem to prefer this situation instead of the people who pay taxes and call this area home. They’re helping make our neighborhood less safe.

The Greater West Hollywood Food Coalition has done an excellent job in providing badly needed free meals to low income and homeless people in all of Hollywood. Many times low income and homeless people end up dependent on nutritionally deficient corporate fast food as a major source of their diet, this results in numerous long term health problems. Even mental health problems ranging from hyperactivity to impulsive combative behavior can be symptoms can easily be the result of nutritional deficiencies, which can be reversed with an improved diet. I have seen this to be the case with many homeless people. Please urge law enforcement and private security to NOT harass these people doing an excellent job in solving many problems we have on the streets. Focus on gangs and violent crime and let the Greater West Hollywood Food Coalition do their job.

This organization is a literally a LIFELINE for people facing food insecurity! Being able to get even just 1 free, hot meal any day of the week is my only saving grace while I’m out of work/money. I look forward to volunteering with them when i get back on my feet. I would love to help out the folks who run the nonprofit and give back to the community.

I really love helping out as much as I can. Their cause is amazing and the amount of people that they help everyday is crazyyy!! I love all the people they are very kind and caring and will do anything really to help their coworkers or the people who are in need of clothing, food, water, and even having dog food etc.

For You, Great place to donate your unwanted items that you don't want anymore. *If you're in need of services & Mondays Thur Fridays they serve dinners at 6:00pm - 7:30pm or until the food runs out.

This organization does GOOD in the city of Los Angeles. If you’re looking to give; time, money or food, this place is worth the donation. If you can give food, they help distribute it to a number of distributors, including one which is their own kitchen. If you can give time, then go volunteer in their ‘exchange’ warehouse or at their nightly kitchen. If you can give money, this goes a long way and is spent dearly.

Yelp
I volunteer at the Hollywood Food Coalition weekly. All the people that either work or volunteer there are very professional and really care about the people that are served. The food is well planned and and cook fresh daily. Coalition is a positive light in serving people.

Yelp
Where to begin... I feel very disappointed overall with my experience with Hollywood Food Coalition and felt compelled to leave a review so others can take both note and warning. Hollywood Food Coalition has allowed my insane mom and dad to show up multiple times while both eating and going thru the line here during the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic. Although I am a very healthy, active, smiley, and warm person my experience thru Hollywood Food Coalition soured for this very reason unfortunately. Awesomely, the volunteers working with the Hollywood Food Coalition are all very over the top warm, smiley, and customer service driven like myself. However, I even went so far as to communicate with several volunteers there; and passed on printed dated letters etcetera detailing and addressing this issue of allowing my insane parents to intrude into my life. I did not appreciate this harassment at all and was very upsetting! I felt disrespected also being a very awesome person who loves every second of his life and I have worked hard every single day, day in and day out to graduate university and work in healthcare to then be treated in a negligent way like that said disrespect of somebody's constitutional rights. Additionally, I am writing a lengthy letter to humanitarian rights organizations here in Los Angeles and world wide for these actions with Hollywood Food Coalition and a incident here and there during my move here to LA. To summarize, I felt the need to write this review with a one star given because it is important to realize how you treat somebody directly effects how others perceive you. Also, there should be a ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY for harassment when no honesty is on the table. Vegetarian food choices were a benefit as well as the smiles the volunteers shared with clients and the positive energy the volunteers passed on thru the Hollywood Food Coalition! I thank those smiling and warm volunteers from the bottom of my heart to theirs and best wishes to the volunteers' future endeavors in whatever direction life takes them!!!!!!! All the warmth, love, and respect to you this holiday season! Cheers! With Love, Corey Barnes
