We had an awesome time! The glass making is also affordable, there is an additional cost on top of the ticket entrance price, keep that in mind. It will range from $20-110 more on top of the ticket price depending on which glass project to make. Everyone can choose their own, and 3 colors for their glass. The experience was great but definitely expect to get hot. It’s best to have a pair of glasses/sunglasses to protect the eyes. They do offer goggles to wear for safety purposes. The product outcome was great. We went to pick it up the next day. Jackie was our instructor, she did a fantastic job explaining everything to us. Definitely don’t forget to leave your gratuity for her. Very thankful for her work in the hot environment.

We had the best time during our glass making class! We both made sea turtles and they look beautiful! Our instructor was Jackie and she was patient, very clear with instructions, and friendly. Our classes were scheduled to begin at 5:40 PM and we only waited about 10 minutes for the previous class to finish so our classes could begin. Jackie is very skilled and has excellent attention to detail. Our creations had to cool for 12 hours, so picked them up the next day. We are so pleased with our turtles that we plan to take more classes in the future.

Google
Such a super fun place!! You can pick your project, colors and type of design. And it's more hands on than I realized. Our instructor Mitch was great, very patient and we felt that we were in good safe hands. I would highly recommend Hollywood Hot Glass and will go again for sure!!!

This was my first time doing glass blowing. I took my two children and my mom. We had such a fantastic experience. We had Jackie as our instructor and she was amazing. She took her time with each of us, explained things, was very patient and allowed us to participate in the glass making as much as possible. We are very happy that we had our first glass blowing experience was at Hollywood hot glass. We will definitely be back.

I made a cremation piece with my grandparents ashes. The staff was excellent!! Jackie was very knowledgeable about the glass creation process and helped me feel comfortable. Noah at the front desk was also very helpful and sweet! I absolutely love how my glass heart came out. I will definitely be back again soon.

We had an amazing experience! Mitchell was so kind to us and really let us get in and work on our glass masterpieces. The whole experience was wonderful. The work space is semi outside so there is no feeling of close quarters. We will definitely do it again

This place is AMAZING!!! It’s an ABSOLUTE MUST DO!!!! My instructor Johnny is so amazing at sharing his talents and answers every question in a way you feel so comfortable about learning!!! His approach with our whole group was extremely patient, positive, and informative!!! He let me completely nerd out with all of my questions (I love the science of all things) I’ll be back in June for my next piece!!! Thank you so much Johnny, you’re a freaking ROCK STAR!!! Best Birthday EVER!!! Thank you so much!!!

Google
I LOVE THEM!!! I’ve gone twice for mother’s day (made a vase) and father day (made a sea turtle), I’m coming back next month to make myself a ruffle bowl! They’re so accommodating, I was running behind and they were able to reschedule me to late time that same day!!! Alison was my instructor for the sea turtle and I love my silly guy! And most importantly so did my dad!!! He’s going to put him on his boat! I love how the colors kinda look like the deep sea!!! 10/10 experience 10/10 recommend

Yelp
First visit What a wonderful experience Now they do help ALOT so you dont get to do as much as you think BUT she did recommend to pumpkin and jellyfish which are more intricate so there is alot to do with those My husband did the paper weight which isn't as intricate so he didn't get to do alot but he enjoyed it because he is more of an observer We had Allison and she was amazing! So knowledgeable and talented I have been recommending this place to everyone I love that it was just me and my husband so it felt very exclusive and great for a date The only reason I am giving it a 4/5 is because sadly its not ready right away so you have to go back and pick it up and its in a weird and busy street so the parking and traffic is not the best But besides this I would love to do it again!

Yelp
Hollywood Hot Glass has professional instructors who teach students to do glassblowing in only about 20 minutes of time. Customers may choose which glass products that they want to make, including vases, bowls, ornaments, and others. The prices vary from about $50 to $150 per product. Currently, the classes are taught in either this studio in Florida or on Celebrity Cruise ships. I completed my glass-blowing class when I was on the Celebrity Solstice ship this year. Last year, I had tried to sign up for a class on the Celebrity Equinox, but the instructor repeatedly told me to come back, so I gave up on her. This year, a different instructor was working, and he was very nice, and he immediately signed me up. During my class, I decided to make a vase. The instructor, who was named Fae (5 stars!), asked me to choose colors, and I chose blue and white. He then heated glass for me, and for 20 minutes, we worked together to use different tools to shape the glass into a beautiful vase. Fae did an excellent job of doing the challenging parts and informing me of how to do the easy parts. I had a lot of fun, and I highly recommend that other customers work with Fae to make their glass products. (I deducted one star because of the different instructor last year.)

Yelp
Loved this activity yall. First of all it's hot ass hell blowing glass. I've been interested in doing this ever since I saw a show about it on Netflix. I have to say I was pleasant surprised at how wonderful this experience was. Jackie was our expert who helped us make a bubble bowl and a flower vase. Jackie is very careful and precise with her directions which was so awesome. I loved the entire experience. We got to pick the colors we wanted for our blown glass. We picked the same colors for both. Now don't be confused. There is a price for the 1:1 with the artist to blow the glass and there's a separate price for the glass piece that u picked to make. So it can be about 100-200 per person once it's all done. They will let u pick it up the next day. I love the vase that I made. It's so unique! They also sell pieces there made by other people if u want to buy it too. The bathroom there- well the light doesn't work so if ur coming during the day u will have no problems but at night, ur gonna need a cellphone light if u don't want to fall in. Try it Y'all!!

Yelp
Another field trip that our school made for our students was to visit Hollywood Hot Glass. For our large group, we were given a showcase of how Hollywood hot glass makes their glass sculptures. Due to our time constraints and the size of our group, we weren't able to physically make the sculptures with the instructors, but we thoroughly enjoyed the showcase. The staff and the hosts of the showcase were very informative and interactive with the students. The students were in awe watching how hot molten glass was made into a beautiful art piece. I do advise to bring may be a small fan because the showcase is outside in a covered area.

Yelp
We had an absolutely great experience at Hollywood Hot Glass. Jackie, our artist, was engaging and ensured we had a great experience as well as made fantastic blown glass art! You have to leave the glass after creating it and pick it up the next day. When I went back to get our three pieces, I met Suzanna who was equally fantastic! She had me inspect each piece, wrapped them for me and then walked me out to the car to make sure nothing got broken. The overall experience at Hollywood Art Glass was fantastic. I know we'll be going back with friends to do this again!

Yelp
My friend and I so enjoyed our glass experience. Our instructor was amazing and so kind. We were pleased with our works of art. They turned out beautifully. What a cool bucket-list experience. But one I want to repeat!

Jon C.

Yelp
A great afternoon blowing glass and creating art! Highly recommend. Fun with friends and/or family! Thanks to the awesome Suzanna for her help and our amazing glass artist, Liam, for the instruction!'
google avatar

Krystle B.

Yelp
I really enjoyed my class here and came back for another with my mom! A big selection of glass pieces you can make for varying prices. I worked with Liam both times and he was very knowledgeable and answered all my mom's questions about the technicalities of glass blowing. I had a complication with my piece and the colors I chose, and he offered to fix it without hesitation. Would 1000% recommend him. Great experience! Also they have a shop that you can buy beautiful already made pieces, so if you have a budget, bring extra to buy one and leave a tip! :)
google avatar

Yelp
Amazing experience! Creative and our instructor Liam was wonderful - he explained every step and helped us participate. Definitely recommend it and look forward to returning to make another!

Yelp
What a cool experience! Of course the experts do most of the work, but they are good at explaining to you that parts that you actually get to do; the staff are really nice. And it doesn't take too long if you're making something simple (I made a paperweight). And your piece is ready to go in a day! 2 things: 1. Get a groupon first! 2. I recommend using a mix of translucent and opaque colors. I only did translucent, and the colors don't show up as well without a light source.

Yelp
Our daughter and her fiancé gifted us with a certificate as our Christmas gift. If you are using a gift certificate, you can call them to make your appt, otherwise if you try to schedule it online you will be required to give credit card info as a deposit. They ask that you arrive 10 min before your class so that you can sign in. They are located in ArtsPark at Young Circle which is the last circle heading east. There are only 6 free parking spots and 2 handicapped parking in the ArtsPark lot. Luckily there were spots available when we arrived, otherwise we were told that we would have to find metered street parking. We haven't been this way in a long time and noticed that the lot with meters where we used to park at is no longer there because they're building a condo or something on that corner. You have to go into their office to check in. While there, you can see all their designs on display so you can decide what you'd like to create. When you let them know what you want, they note it on a paper and give it to you to pass on to the instructor. Our instructor was Joe who was really good and gave us step by step explanation of what he was doing. He's been doing this for over 20 years! Before you start, you have to pick your colors. There's about 16 colors for you to choose from with sample glass pieces so you can see the actual colors. It was amazing watching how the pieces are created! When Joe was working on my piece, I couldn't see the colors right away but when he rolled it on a table, the colored sprinkles appeared. The glass was red and at first I was thinking it was supposed to be blue and white, but then realized that it's because the glass was so hot. When it's time to put air into your piece, they wipe down the end of the pipe with alcohol. I still didn't feel comfortable doing that and was glad that they have a cuff to attach to the pipe and a pump that you press to put air into your piece. There's a couple of other hands on techniques that they let you participate in. When your piece is done, they put it in their furnace to cool off and you have to go back the next day to pick it up. When we went back the next day to pick up our pieces, we had to wait a few minutes because my husband's vase was a little crooked and they had to fix it. We got our pieces wrapped separately in paper so that they wouldn't break and then in a larger bag with a handle so we could carry them. We loved our pieces and were glad we got to experience this!

Yelp
I was just on a cruise on the Celebrity Solstice and had the opportunity to create my own glass work of art with the fabulous instructor Emmy. It was so much fun and I felt like I was really involved in the creation process. The experience was one of the highlights of the cruise. I absolutely love my starfish!

Yelp
This was a lot of fun. Our instructor was funny, well trained, and helped us craft exactly what we were looking for. This space gets really hot (and if you go in the summer, it's obviously already very hot). It's also not cheap. Depending on the item you choose you're likely to spend $40-120 per piece. But it's definitely a fun date and worth it.

Yelp
Had a wonderful time at Hollywood Hot Glass. Enjoyed the experience from the moment we arrived and when I went back to pick up our pieces. Suzanna, thank you for your kindness in assisting me. Ginger

Yelp
We received this class as a Christmas gift. Two groupons for two, so four of us got together to learn to blow glass. This was a wonderful, fun, and educational experience. I have to say that the customer service was top notch, even days before our class. I had a question on how to use my Groupon, so I left a voicemail (not really expecting a call). I was pleasantly surprised when I received a text the following day with an answer to my question. Moreover, someone named Christina was able to help me set up the class easily via text and got our group all set up! This place is conveniently located at a city park on Young Circle, a family-friendly safe and busy area. The park has a playground and weekly family activities. We chose a Friday night class so that our kids could enjoy the weekly movie while we enjoyed our glass blowing class. We were set up with Allison, who did an amazing job of teaching and entertaining four people for over an hour. She was an excellent teacher and was great with managing allowing each of us to have hands on experiences, while also keeping the flow of the class going, actually making the pieces look like what we set out to make, answering any of our questions, and imparting her own experiences/knowledge. Overall, I had a great time and made a lovely piece of art that I'll proudly display. I think my family members enjoyed themselves. I highly recommend this place, and suggest asking for Allison's class.

Yelp
We had a great time at Hollywood Hot Glass. Suzanna was amazing, welcoming, she had a positive energy, and was very attentive. Liam, was our instructor and he was very informative and helped us make a very stylish vase. Also, Allison was so kind and accommodating. We definitely intend on coming back and bring friends. I could tell that everyone involved in this business works together as a team. You can see that they take pride and what they do. I appreciated meeting this group they had great synergy.

So much fun for the entire family of all ages!! Thank you Hollywood Hot Glass for an amazing experience! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and learning how to create hot glass art! Thank you!!

Yelp
In 2013, Hollywood Hot Glass was opened in Arts Park in Young Circle by glass artist Brenna Baker. Baker learned to blow glass at the Corning Museum in New York and she trained in Murano Italy with the famous glass blower Pino Signoretto, You can see some of Brenna's work inside the building. She creates installations and commission work. Thanks to Hollywood Hot Glass now anyone can learn to blow glass at the workshops held here. You can walk in to a workshop and in 20 minutes create a piece of glass art. Pieces range from $50 to $100 but they currently have two offers for less money on Groupon where you can create an ornament or a starfish or heart piece. During the workshops you get to do the fun part and the staff instructor does the hard work. If you aren't sure yet that you want to participate you can also watch the process for free from the bleachers. This a unique and fun activity and you get to leave with a beautiful keepsake. Children as young as 4 can even participate but to get the most out of the experience children should be at least 8 years old. This would be great for a date or even as a gift. Hollywood Hot Glass is putting the art into the Arts Park in Young Circle.

Yelp
I came here for my birthday and had Manny as my instructor. It was a really memorable experience. Manny is a cool, inviting guy who will teach you as well as being you into the process to make sure your party of it as well. He's an easy-going veteran who's still excited by his craft. I loved being in the studio in that fascinating environment. Definitely will go again!

Yelp
Have you ever had the urge to play with fire and red-hot molten glass? If so, Hollywood Hot Glass is your spot! For our second visit my hubby and I went with one of our friends and had a great time learning about glass blowing while making our very own masterpieces. I apologize for forgetting her name, but the woman who helped us was friendly, knowledgeable, and very personable. She helped our friend make a beautiful long stemmed flower creation and guided me in making a vibrant tumbler. I can't wait to go back and play with more hot molten glass! Thanks Hollywood Hot Glass!

Yelp
Took my son to HHG during in climate weather, And boy was it fun! They are friendly and knowledgeable. Enjoyed the Whole process. It's a little on the pricey side but you come away with a unique memory and conversation piece! A must do if your an artistic person;)

Glenda L.

Yelp
Wow!! What a fabulous experience at Hollywood Hot Glass. The instructors were amazing. We (my 12 year old and I) had the pleasure of working with Allison and she was so knowledgeable and friendly. She guided us through each step of the way and answered all of my questions. I could have talked to her all day about glass, art, and everything else. Suzanna made sure that we were all doing ok. She greeted us upon entering, during our experience and when we left. Very reasonably priced for this great day at Hollywood Hot Glass. Thank you. I can't wait to go back to get our finished products. Like ceramics, they need a few days to cool off. SO looking forward to seeing all my new friends again! Can't wait to go back and take my husband and friends!!!!

William C.

Yelp
Christina and Jackie were awesome and super friendly! This place is amazing! Jackie did an incredible job of teaching me and helping me to create beautiful art! It felt so good to make something so beautiful! I can't recommend this place enough!

Yelp
I purchased a groupon for a glass sculpting session for two and thought this would be a different date adventure for my hubby and I. Walk-ins are welcome but you are able to make an appointment for your session(for a small fee of $5) We were going for a Saturday and figured it would be busy(which it was). With the groupon we were able to choose to create either a starfish or heart and we decided to do both. We are assigned one staff member that would assist us with the harder parts and provide instructions on the parts we were able to do, which was more than what I expected. We were also able to customize the colors and spiral type for each piece. The staff member was very informative of each step in making each piece. Once complete each piece has to cool and would be ready for pickup in a couple days. They do provide an engraving option as well which we did on the heart to remember our first valentines as a married couple I would recommend this as a date idea or something the whole family can do and have something to keep as a memory.

Alexandra A.

Yelp
Like many others, after watching the glass blowing competition on Netflix, I had to try it. I found a Groupon for a 2 person glass blowing session to make Christmas ornaments. Alas, Covid rescheduled our plans and we ended up going in January, but you can make these any time of year! We had the BEST time! Our instructor was super sweet (I wish I remembered her name) and helped us every step of the way. What's cute is it's in the middle of the park, so you can sit and observe if you aren't blowing glass yourself. Great experience and we will totally be back to make more!
google avatar

Sherry W.

Yelp
We stopped in with a groupon and made two different ornaments. The glass making too 30 minutes. You are paired with an expert glass maker. They do most of the work, but have you blow the glass and also spin it and pull on it with the tongs. There are seats for an audience to sit and watch. You need to show up and put your name on the list. Wait time is usually 2 hours. You can put your name on the list and then go walk around Hollywood Blvd. and come back. There are no reservations. The staff is friendly and informative with their art. You pick up your glass piece a few days after making it. There is free parking on the street.
google avatar

Yelp
Came here with my sister the other day; she had a Groupon. And I actually enjoyed myself. Our artist was Jessica and she was very knowledgeable on the whole art form. I was asking all types of questions too, like I was a little kid. Why? Why? but Why? and Why are we doing this? But she was very enjoyable and made the experience better. I did the paperweight and my sister did the flower. And I wouldn't even mind doing it again. You can choose from all different types of things from a bowl to a cup to ornaments to Star pieces.
google avatar

Lin H.

Yelp
I watched a session of glass blowing and it is beautiful and something I hope to do in the near future . Right now they have specials where you can make ornaments . I believe Groupon gives you a deeper discount . So glad hot glass is in Hollywood where you can have the experience of making your own beautiful glass art with the help of an expert. Give the a call to schedule hour class .
google avatar

Alicia N.

Yelp
Absolutely lovedddddd the glass blowing class here. There was a party of 4 of us and when I called in, they booked a reservation for us and honored the Groupon price. They charge an amount on your card to hold your reservation but it goes towards your final price. We got there and decided to upgrade our sessions to create tumblers. Christian was our instructor and he was both funny and informative. We had a great time creating our pieces. It's a very hands on experience and they allow you to play a part in every aspect that you can safely do. The pieces need a day or two to cool before picking them up so I came back about a week later (scheduling conflicts) to pick them up. Our two friends who were with us opted to ship theirs to Washington ($30 or $40 charge, I can't remember) because they already travelled back. Unfortunately they sent the wrong piece to Washington. They offered to give us another class but it's not close to our house so we settled on taking a piece one of the instructors had made. It would've been really nice to have ours though. I would be super specific with them if you are in a group and keeping some for pick up but shipping others. They did end up sending the other piece to Washington without an additional charge. Another thing to note, it is located at young arts park where there is very limited parking. If you can't find parking you need to go across the street and park metered in front of the Walgreens or cvs that's over there.

Yelp
Two friends and I had a really fun time at Hollywood Hot Glass. It's definitely a place I would recommend to adults for a unique and fun hour. For newbies, it's rather straightforward. From a selection of about 12 objects possible, choose the type of glass piece you'd like to make. The cost of the experience varies with the piece you choose, but generally ranges from $50 to about $200. I chose to make a flower for $50. After paying, you head to the outdoor furnace and kiln area, where you get a quick intro from their witty and knowledgeable staff and choose the colors you want to incorporate into your piece. Coloring and shaping your glass piece is definitely a hands-on experience, but you don't get to do quite as much of it as you'd like. The more dangerous aspects of getting the molten glass from inside the furnace and reheating your piece to keep it pliable as you work it, are done by studio staff. My favorite part of the experience was using the various tongs and tools to clamp, snip, pull and twist the hot glass into its flower shape. It was physically much harder to do than you think it would be! Overall, this was a great and reasonably priced experience. I left wanting to really learn how to blow and work with glass. I suggest you keep your group size to under 4 people though since you don't work at the same time, and each person's project takes about 15 minutes to do. Shorts and T-shirts are the way to dress. It's mighty warm near those furnaces and kilns. And know ahead of time that you have to return a few days later to pick up your finished piece.

Yelp
What a great outing. A lot of fun and educational. Very Covid careful, totally outside. The staff was very respectful of our comfort level. Great for team building, a friend outing, or just a productive solo outing. So glad We did it. We definitely will do it again.

Yelp
The staff here is great! From my email interactions, to actually making our ornaments, everyone was very nice and patient. Chris is knowledgeable and clearly loves what he does. I highly recommend this for date night or even just to watch. It's truly fascinating!! P.S. - They honor the Groupon price!!

Yelp
This place is amazing! My friends and I came out to celebrate my birthday and overall had an amazing time. When we got there we checked in for the appointment that I made. The young lady that assisted us was very nice and forthcoming with information. Once we were all settled we headed out back to begin our fun. The venue itself wasn't what I pictured; not in a bad way though. I just thought it was indoors for some reason. Ericka and Jessica (I think that was her name) was our instructors for the day. Two of my friends had gone before me and had two totally different experiences as did some others. Jessica was very attentive and promoted us getting pictures since it was for my birthday celebration and it was our first time. In fact she was the one that reminded us because we were so caught in watching. Everyone that had her loved her, including me. Now Ericka on the other hand, my friends that had her were not feeling the warm fuzzies. Fortunately for me, I did not have her for my experience. Instead of actually allowing them to participate in some of the steps that they could, she rushed them to what we took as her trying to rush and get it over with. When she first came out to assist our group she said sternly as if she were dealing with an unruly group of students, "come on who's going? Let's go". When it was down to my friend girl and myself that needed to go, my friend girl told me that she asked "what do I have next?" My friend girl answered "a tumbler and a paperweight". Ericka replied "oh I'll take the paperweight." Again totally not offended because I wanted a good experience and got it. And let's not mention the fact that she dropped the precious paperweight that she wanted to do. When my final member arrived and Ericka assisted her, she practically did the whole thing. All my friend was able to do was blow into her ornament. No spinning it in the fire, no spinning it while she was blowing in it (like I was allowed to). Everyone that had Ericka, I was not able to get any pictures of them. She was moving around so fast. She basically just walked them around and semi explained certain steps as she did it. The whole point of this is to be apart of the experience as much as we could. With what was experienced today, we should have simply put in an order and had someone to do it for us. To Jessica, if that was her name, thank you for providing two of us with such an awesome experience! You made our experience worthy of coming back; as long as you're working of course. Unfortunately three of friends felt rushed and short changed and that is the reason for this 3 star review. While I'm tempted to just give it a 1 or 2 star, I cannot let the experience with Ericka completely negate the others experience with Jessica.

Yelp
What an amazing place. Four of us came, created amazing pieces and had an absolute blast. Juliet was absolutely amazing. Such a friendly girl. Can't wait to come back and create another piece.

Yelp
AMAZING & COOL Experience - This is an awesome place to make your own glass project with the help of Brenna (owner) or another instructor. The entire staff and experience was wonderful. Highly Recommended!

Yelp
I came here for my birthday celebration and what an amazing experience that was. I did not know what to expect since it was a surprise and when i got to the place I said to myself: "WT heck I am doing here"... I even could hear my heart beats lol.. I was afraid I was going to burn myself but nothing bad happened to me... Again I enjoyed so much this experience. I am sure I want to give it a try again. The staff is nice and they guided me every step of the process. You get to choose what you want to ´create´. I chose a flower.. and for my surprise I did a good job! Unfortunately I do not remember the name of the guy who was my instructor but he was such a nice guy! Ha had a lot of patience!! As I said you choose what you want to create, you will be guide the entire process and also they make sure there will be not accident... just fun fun fun!

Yelp
Had a great time creating the glass. They got to handle all the dangerous parts, but you pretty much do everything else. My only complaint would be that it's a bit pricey for a 10-15 minute experience, would have liked to do another piece, but not at that price. Awesome experience and customer service.

Yelp
Great open-air studio with plenty of seating and decent parking in the heart of Young Circle. We visited on a Saturday afternoon and enjoyed the class before ours, which was helpful in assisting us to make our pieces. Richard was our instructor and he was engaging, talented, creative, and entertaining throughout the process. The hands-on experience allows you to be an apprentice and assist with the activities that do not involve the ovens. There's plenty of designs to choose from and many guests were repeat customers adding to their prior pieces. Your final art work does take 48-hours to cool, so you can either return to pick it up or they can ship it to you for a nominal fee. Great experience for single or group participants. A must to do when visiting downtown Hollywood.

Yelp
Such a fun and interactive experience, would definitely do it again! They really allow you to be hands on in making your piece of art. Plenty of designs and colors to choose from.

Yelp
My sister had purchased a Groupon and was told to show up at 1pm - that's what we did. When we got there they said they couldn't take us because someone had called in sick and they were understaffed. That's fine, it happens. So they told us to come back next week, so we did. When we got there, once again they were understaffed and couldn't take us. Keep in mind this is 45 minutes away. Finally we booked a reservation for 1pm a week later. At 12:55 we got a call from our car on our way to say their oven was broken and we couldn't come. We tried THREE times plus could never get a hold of anyone when we tried to call. Overall really frustrated with their business.

Yelp
Recently visited Hollywood Hot Glass with a group of about 13 people. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. They answered all of our questions and of course helped us through the entire process. I do wish it was a bit more hands on, but I understand the precautions that need to be take with 2000 degree heat lol. Great experience overall!

Yelp
Came here for a birthday celebration and had a great time. Hollywood Hot Glass is really easy to find since its located directly in the middle of Young Circle but there is no direct parking so you will have find a spot at one of the shopping center across the street. The store part is small but they have a nice display of pieces available for sale. The blue, flying pig was my favorite. The area where you actually take the class is outside (but covered) so dress for the heat. You can pick from several different pieces in a few price ranges. I chose to make a flower. You can pick three different colors from their good sized selection. The instructor walks you through the process and you get to help some. The best part is at the end when you get to shape the flower, which is harder than you think. It takes 24 hours for the piece to harden so you do have to come back and pick up your piece. I expected the class to be a little more hands on but we had a lot of fun anyway. Its neat to actually make a large glass piece that I can display in my house. Make sure you check out the sale section where they have $10 and $20 pieces. Our group snagged a really nice bowl for $20.

Yelp
HHG is the sh*t. Richard, the person that showed us how to do the glass flowers, was welcoming, funny, charming, and made our class extremely fun. Him alone was half of the experience. However, the beautiful glass shapes were gorgeous. So many different glass stuff to make, you'll want to come back to this place again and again. I came to this place for a date and let me tell you, my guy got a huge reward for the great time we had

Yelp
Accidently walked into this place after a Saturday stroll around Hollywood park. The sign "hot glass" caught our attention and so we walked in. This is a hot glass store where you can buy beautiful pieces of art work and hand made glass. Yea this is definitely a place where you don't touch anything! The temptation was real since I have an attention span of a toddler, I wanted to touch but resisted because you might break something. Definitely a place to have your small kids under control. I saw some beautiful pieces of handcrafted glass but they were pricey $75 for a small ornament, Yikes! I guess if you appreciate this art, it's worth it but honestly a little steep for me. In the outdoor area they have a $20 clearance section that sits under the 10,000 degree oven that the employee scolded me not to touch as I reached under to pick one up. Why would you put a clearance section under a burning oven??? Inquiring minds want to know but Ok a little dangerous I think. The employee was aware of who was touching what but God forbid a little kid runs up to this thing, jeezuz! Like i said, it's a place to have younger children under control. I did notice they offer glass blowing classes. One had just started and I heard the employee saying $3 but not sure if that price is correct. There is no direct parking for this store since it's located at the center of Hollywood circle park but there is some metered parking surrounding the park if you get lucky and there are no major events in the area.
