"This ice cream shop is located just a few steps away from the Tower of Terror, so your midday treat might be interrupted by park-goers' screams. Scoops of strawberry or cookies and cream ice cream are great on a hot, sticky Florida day (which is most of the time), but on the off-chance you want something warm, the blueberry-filled Mickey waffles are perfectly crisp and jammy. The brownie sundae was presently very nicely! The brownie was fresh and soft, and the sundae had plenty of colorful Mickey sprinkles

Emily

Google
The brownie wasnt as good as I would have expected but still an overall yummy treat.

Delicious ice cream, try the Apple flavored ice-cream, all To-Go Orders. Enjoy

I love getting a sundae from here. Almost every time we visit I get in line for the fat boy special. I am a sucker for hot fudge and vanilla ice cream.

Google
Terribly slow. That's all you need to know. There's no reason to be this slow scooping ice cream. Better service from just about any other ice cream place I've ever seen, including Baskin Robbins. There's a huge line, one window open, and one individual, David, is sitting here doing nothing, no sense of purpose whatsoever.

Extremely disappointing experience – not what you’d expect at Disney We had a very upsetting experience at the ice cream shop Hollywood Scoops inside Hollywood Studio in Disney. When we asked for a gluten-free ice cream due to a dietary restriction, the manager was incredibly rude and dismissive. Not only did we have to wait over 10–15 minutes for him to even show up, but when he finally arrived, he said there were no gluten-free cones available. Then he contradicted himself, saying that the ice cream “probably” didn’t contain gluten and we could just eat it anyway. He showed no concern about allergies or cross-contamination, and honestly, if it weren’t for the cashier—who kindly stepped in and reminded him to take proper precautions—we might have been given something unsafe to eat. She even requested that someone else prepare the ice cream and label it gluten-free. It’s shocking that this kind of disregard could happen at Disney, where guest safety and care are supposed to be top priorities. This experience was frustrating, unacceptable, and far below the standard you’d expect. I would absolutely not recommend this location to anyone with food sensitivities. ⸻ ¿Te gustaría que suavice algún punto o que lo adapte para una red social también?

Google
I ordered a chocolate shake. As I was paying for it, the cashier handed it to me. It was not made to order, it was mostly melted, and it did not taste like homemade ice cream was used. It tasted like a cheap, slimy, flavorless version of a Frosty. The straw didn’t work—it had a hole in it. I do not recommend.

Google
My sweet tooth needed a fix and I saw this place after eating my meal. I got the brownie sundae which was pretty good. They also have traditional cone and bowl options as well.

Serena W.

Yelp
Ice cream place right near the entrance food area in hollywood studios park disney world. prices are a bit steep but they do give a large amount of ice cream so you can even split with someone. brownie sundae includes a hot brownie, very good. staff is sweet as always

Madison L.

Yelp
This is my favorite place to get ice cream in Hollywood Studios! It definitely has the most unique menu and the highest quality ice cream. I love the brownie sundae. It comes with your choice of ice cream, a Mickey brownie, whipped cream, hot fudge, Mickey sprinkles, and a cherry on top. It's large enough to share and the price isn't too bad. This time, I got mint chip. Service is fast and the ambiance is casual, but cute.

Margaret P.

Yelp
Pros: Lots of treats for the price, quick and kind service, plenty of places to eat, the ice cream always tastes delicious, fun environment at Disney World To note: Must have a pass to Hollywood Studios to go to the ice cream shop. Overall score: A+

Yelp
We have been here many many times. This is the ice cream shop located inside Disney's Hollywood Studios. You need a park ticket and park reservation in order to go here. It is located near the front, right next to Tower of Terror. This is the ice cream shop. Their menu includes hand scooped ice cream, sundaes and brownie sundaes. They have a wide variety of ice cream flavors including chocolate, vanilla, strawberry, cookies and cream, mint chocolate chip, sherbet and more. The ice cream is good, every time we have had it, it's cool refreshing and hits the spot when craving something sweet. I like the sundae for barley a dollar more, you get hot chocolate, whip cream and a cherry. For .50 cents more you can add a brownie and now make it for two! Their prices are not that bad. Now the secret menu that I feel not a lot of people know about. Did you know.....they have mimosas in the morning?! Well I am here to tell you that they do! For just the AM hours, they sell mickey waffles and mimosas! This is why we go here in the morning. I loved these. They had the perfect combination of OJ and prosecco. It was not too Orange Juicy, so it wasn't sour. I will get this every time! I don't think many know about it, because there was no line. It's a great place to grab your mickey waffles and start your day with a mimosa. The shows around scoops, Fantasmic and Beauty and the Beast you can bring food in. I would definitely recommend grabbing ice cream and watching a show and in the morning grab a mimosa and mickey waffle and enjoy the morning.

Laura L.

Yelp
Got the candy cane milk shake. We did not have to wait too long for the drink. The drink itself was pretty good and sweet. I enjoyed the peppermint flavor. I was not a fan of the chocolate donut and could not take more than one bite. I shared the drink with one other person who thought the donut was fine, so I guess it all depends on your personal preference.

Ellen N.

Yelp
Decided to eat ice cream for dinner tonight. This shop is very basic and simple with its offerings, but service is great, and the price is reasonable. My wait was not too long, and I happened to see the light show of Tower of Terror while waiting in line. Highly recommend if you want ice cream at HS.

Derrick G.

Yelp
Hollywood Scoops is a good place to order ice cream, if you are in Disney Hollywood Studios theme park. My favorite item on the menu is the brownie sundae, but they have other ice cream options.

Jim R.

Yelp
The lines move fast and the chocolate ice cream is to die for. Especially worth it on a hot day - which you're gonna ha e almost 350 days out of the year.

Jasmin L.

Yelp
Sweet tooth alert I have a problem I know: Who would have thunk, that a little hidden kiosk right off Sunset Boulevard would have one of the tastiest quick service desserts I have tasted in a WHILE! (Don't get me wrong...much love to Dole Whip, but.... the **caramel man? It's heavenly on this.) I was concerned about where I would sit given that it's just a small quick service stand (plus the park was crowded) but a quick look to the right and I found a few picnic tables up for grabs. First bite I was hesitant, kind of. I love brownies, and sundaes, just not really together. I guess I was worried that the usual problems when eating a sundae would arrive, (cold/hard brownie, gross sauce, insert picky eater problem here..) with the added disadvantage of it being a theme park food (which from experience, can be either hit or miss with snacks) and I would hate it. But boy was I proved wrong. That ice cream was so nice, theme park ice cream always is. And the sauces...they were the STAR of the show. There's something about the way the textures melded together (super foodie-like sounding, I burn water btw) and the temperatures of each item blended that had me over the moon. The brownie was pretty ok, however because of all of the toppings and the way it was warmed was just the ticket. My only complaint was that even in the cold weather we had last week, the sundae melted fairly quickly maybe because the caramel sauce was really hot. Even with all the melting I hardly noticed as I ate it so fast, almost inhaling it. Seriously I about ate the cherry whole in one scoop. Yeah that good. Would get it again for sure. TLD; Just go try the brownie sundae ok? You're welcome. **Disney, there must be something in that caramel. We are on to you don't you even try to deny it.

Rosie A.

Yelp
First time at Disney and decided to cool down with a treat before Fastasmic and I'm glad we chose this spot. The brownie sundae was bomb

Katie A.

Yelp
Had to stop for a mid-day ice cream break during a long day at Hollywood Studios! This location is near Tower of Terror and Rock and Roller Coaster, so I recommend grabbing some ice cream before you get in line. When I went, the line moved very slowly and it seemed like they were short staffed. However, the ice cream hit the spot on a hot day! I ordered the cookies and cream and it was delicious.

Art C.

Yelp
I must return someday We were hanging out by the Tower of Terror when we spotted Scoops. Impulse buy, I headed over for an Ice Cream Sundae. This nice sized sundae in a paper dish sure was good. Now I read I should have gotten the Brownie Sundae, something even better than what I had? Always take the time to check Yelp, now I'm just going to have to return to Hollywood Studios and try again.

Phil H.

Yelp
On a hot day enjoying the park there is nothing better than a large cup of mint chocolate chip ice cream! Just a small old fashioned ice cream stand to grab a treat and cool off on a bench under the shade, or in the outside covered dining area. Not too far from the Tower of Terror for a pre or post-ride treat.

Lynne C.

Yelp
Perfect little snack before we went to wait in line for the Hollywood Tower ride! There's seating near the side/backside of the shop but it's very limited so grabbing it to go is a perfect compromise. The flavors are quite typical of any other shop and the portions are adequately sized. There may be a long line. Ut it goes by quickly as they've got it down to science! Highly recommend if you want a sweet snack at a reasonable price!

Tabi K.

Yelp
This Icecream shop is adorable and has wonderful workers! When I asked if they had vegan options the store manager came over to show me the binder of options for food allergies. I was pleasantly surprised to see a few options for vegan icecream! Not only did the manager help me with my options, he made sure the process of making the icecream was free from contamination of dairy products and served me the Tofutti icecream with sprinkles and a cherry on top!

Jane M.

Yelp
This little gem is located across from Tower of Terror next to the Beauty and the Beast stage. A little kiosk type place that serves the yummiest ice cream. It's a nice spot for a little sweet treat while your waiting in line for Tower of Terror. Bc yes, you will have enough time to order your ice cream, eat it, and still have to wait to get onto the ride lol. My little loved her ice cream and it's nice to have a hand scooped treat rather than just the Mickey ice cream bars.

Pravash M.

Yelp
What's better than taming your sweet tooth? Dipping it up in Disney World's Hollywood Studios. Hand dipped ice cream near Rock n roller coaster and Tower of Terror. Choose from a Brownie Sundae ($7), ice cream sundae ($7), or ice cream in a bowl ($5.50), not to mention Hot cocoa flights ($13), seasonal shakes ($8.50), classic hot cocoa ($4), bottled water and soda ($3). Boys opted for 1 bowl of vanilla and 1 bowl of orange creamsicle, both adequately portioned for the price. Smiling faces in Family Fun places. Take that Covid.

Madison W.

Yelp
Avery and McKenzie have exceptional customer service!! They truly made my first visit to Hollywood Studios so much better! Nothing like a brownie Sunday after getting soaked in the rain! Way to go Avery + McKenzie!

Susan N.

Yelp
Cute little stand located near Tower of Tower and the Beauty and the Beast Stage! The standard size is the most worth it because you get two scoops for around $6 while the kid's cone is only one scoop for around $5. However, the kid's cone comes with Mickey ear chocolates so I guess it's more fun!

Preston L.

Yelp
Hollywood Scoops Ice Cream Brownie Sundae $6.79 We had the opportunity to have family visit, and we were able to kick off the holiday spirit at Hollywood Studios to check out all of the Christmas decorations! With Disney Adventures, comes several in park snacks, and this was no different! Hollywood Scoops is located on Sunset Blvd, right beside Tower of Terror, which is a convenient spot during the Sunset Seasons Greeting Show projected on the ride. We grabbed the Brownie Sundae - House-made Brownie and Old-fashioned Vanilla Ice Cream with Hot Fudge and Whipped Cream Although it does get a little chilly at night, it's never too cold for ice cream. The delicious hot fudge and warm brownie was a great contrast to the cold ice cream, and all of the flavors mixed perfectly! If you love ice cream, this is a must have, especially on those warmer days!

Matthew B.

Yelp
I got ice cream on a cone but it was more like cone on top of the ice cream. Plus you can't eat the cone because the paper is glued to the cone. Had to throw away the cone. Very disappointing especially when you pay $6. I expected more.

Samson W.

Yelp
This is located on Sunset Blvd. It features ice cream, milk shakes, etc. Loved the ice cream! So very soft. I totally recommend it.

Paul S.

Yelp
Does not accept Disney vacation club discount. Good ice cream. Socially distanced. Staff wear masks.

Lauren C.

Yelp
It opens at 12:30pm in the afternoon and the line usually starts about 10 mins before it opens. I think it's super conveniently located near Rockin Rollercoaster. They offer a variety of options, but we went for the cup size of cookies n cream. SO good and came with 3 scoops!!! Great value honestly.

Andy J.

Yelp
Located on Sunset Boulevard by Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith. Features hand-dipped ice cream, sundaes and ice cream cookie sandwiches. Items on the menu include the apple crisp à la mode and the brownie sundae. Sugar- and fat-free options are also available. Your gonna need need something to cool off from the Florida heat, here's the place.

Irethea T.

Yelp
Nice low key Ice cream spot on the Club Wyndham Resort. A variety of flavors to select from, but the only non dairy ice cream available was sorbet.

Don J.

Yelp
Enjoyed the Apple Crisp à la Mode, very delicious! Ice cream always goes good with a hot day. Very friendly service. Tip: They have free water sitting at the window (at least when I was there)

Athena K.

Yelp
We were really impressed with the variety of ice cream available at this small stand. There is no seating, and this is not indoors. However there are a lot of benches or areas around the planters where people sit. And if you walk another 20 yards or so you'll be in a covered seating area. Ice cream sundaes with or without brownie are $6.50 or so, slightly less if you don't get the brownie. One thing not on the menu is a hard milkshake which is made with hard root beer and ice cream. Ice cream that they use at this site is both soft serve and hand scooped.

Maggie C.

Yelp
It was a hot day and everyone walked around the park with their ice creams. Ordered Olaf's perfect sundae day and apple crips a la mode. Olaf's perfect sundae day ($5.59): I got this because I love Olaf and the blue marshmallows look interesting. The vanilla ice cream was not good and everything else tasted very artificial. Apple crisp a la mode ($6.19): it was already melted when we got the ice cream. Bottled water ($2.50): not too bad for Disneyland but still LOL They have plenty of seatings near the area. QUICK TIP: NO ANNUAL PASS DISCOUNT FOR ICE CREAM. 2 stars!! Hollywood Scoops is not yummylicious!!

Aiden S.

Yelp
This place was great. I had a peppermint bunt cake shake which was delicious. The service is great I had just swiped my card and the shake was already ready. They could have more options, but overall the place is great.

Michelle J.

Yelp
Great for a quick dessert! They have sundaes, ice cream sandwiches and ice cream cones. Basic flavors and average prices for ice cream in Disney. It's right arcos from Hollywood Tower of Terror.

Rochelle G.

Yelp
I found this place really mediocre and maybe it was because I ordered the wrong thing - but the ice cream sundae came in a bowl (not even a cup) and I had to dig around to find the cherry. Completely underwhelming. I still have it three stars because frankly it's hard to get wrong with ice cream, and my sister in law's ice cream cookie sandwich actually looked quite good. So I guess that's the lesson there - if you go, have THAT.

Kevin M.

Yelp
Had the brownie sundae it was super good. This ice cream place is on the road like if you are going to rocking rollercoaster, tower of terror and fantastic theater. You can't miss it it's right on the corner with a big scoops sign. Great for a hot Florida Disney day.

Michelle S.

Yelp
This place was so yummy at Hollywood Studios! We had extra time to spare before our next ride and we decided to stop by for an ice cream sandwich. The ice cream sandwich was HUGE! Usually at theme parks, you always wonder if your money will be well spent, and this is one of the places that lets you know that. There are plenty of tables near by so that you can sit down and have your treat!

Robert H.

Yelp
Take the road to the Tower of Terror.... then eat delicous ice cream... no more then a 2 minute wait. And boy was it worth it. This ice cream is better then the little ice cream stands selling mickey heads. If u are hungry and ready to eat ICE CREAM this is the place. It turned my grouchy girlfriend into a tame kitten ready to enjoy the rest of the park. Ps thanks for the hook up. :)

Vanessa F.

Yelp
Cute little ice cream stand inside Hollywood studios. Just take the road like if you are going to tower of terror or beauty and the beast theater and you'll see it in the corner. Had the brownie sundae, so delicious especially on a hot Florida day.

Rachel W.

Yelp
I had the cookies and creme ice cream, and i'll have to say that it was fabulous. It tasted better than most cookies and creme ice creams, almost exactly like a creamy oreo. and you can't beat the cute sign and view of the Tower of Terror while you eat!

Russ P.

Yelp
Probably the worst orange sherbet you could buy. Take the stuff that is the dregs of cheap grocery store sherbet and this is 13 tiers below it.

Ashley S.

Yelp
Hungry for ice cream at Hollywood Studios? This is where you should be heading! Hollywood Scoops is located on the corner by Tower of Terror and Rock N Roller Coaster. They have multiple order and pick up windows so you don't have to wait long. Prices are also reasonable for theme park ice cream. They have apple crisp, brownie sundaes and an assortment of ice cream flavors. I got strawberry ice cream in a bowl and bonus it came with a sugar cone! There is also plenty of seating behind the booth and nearby because of the fast food booths nearby.

Shannon A.

Yelp
I grabbed a cone (really a cup of ice cream with a cone stuck upside down inside) while walking around Hollywood Studios. It was getting warm out, so I thought a frozen treat would be nice. First, I waited for way too long for a cone (AKA cup with an upside down cone). When I ordered, I paid, and then went to another line, with my receipt in hand, and had to turn it in, after waiting in said line, before having the staff make my order. Then I waited more, for the item to be ready. When I got the cone (AKA cup with an upside down cone) it was a bit of a letdown for all of the waiting I did. Next time, I will skip it. Never found out why they advertise selling a cone but actually put it in a cup with the upside down cone topping it.

Alex W.

Yelp
This place is great as far as in-park ice cream goes. You get A LOT of ice cream for your buck so that's always a plus! The apple pie sundae is especially tasty before settling down to watch Fantasmic for the evening. The only downside to this place is sometimes the lines can get annoyingly long.

Joe E.

Yelp
On my first night in Disney, before Fantasmic, I decided to get some Ice Cream at Hollywood Scoops. My show started at 9:00 PM, so I headed over to the place about 8:00. The line was pretty crowded, and I also had to get back into Fantasmic before the gate closed. They did give me a pass to get back in, though. Anyways, I went with the Apple Crisp. Vanilla Ice Cream, Warm Cinnamon Apples, and Whipped Cream. To be honest, it was a terrible choice by me because I had to get back to my seat, and by the time I got there, my ice cream was soupy because of the warm apples. I would definitely suggest getting this dish and sitting down somewhere in the park. preferrably in the picnic tables just behind the stand. The ice cream stand features cones, a hot fudge sundae, and an Ice cream cookie sandwich. I wish I would have ordered anything but what I got, but you reap what you sow (I have no idea what this cliche means, but yeah). I think this is better than the standard mickey bars, but nothing special. They don't do soft serve, which is a nice change up, but I had a taste for soft serve and I had no idea where the nearest location was. Nothing great, below average in my opinion. I was also annoyed that the girl in front of me ordered an Ice Cream cookie sandwich, and when they served it to her, she looked at them expecting something totally different. I guess she was expecting a standard IC sandwich, but whatever. I'll look other places for dessert when I'm at MGM next time.

Susie M.

Yelp
Adorable little ice-cream stand within the Hollywood Studios park of Disney World. Located just across the street from the Beauty and The Beast stage show, near the entrance to Tower of Terror. This spot served hand-dipped ice-cream, ice-cream sundaes, ice=cream sandwiches, and drinks. (The identical stand next door served snacks and lunch fare) Hollywood Scoops is next to a courtyard with umbrella tables and plenty of seating, along with a small amount of seating that is under a roof in case of the practically unavoidable afternoon Florida rain shower. This location became a great place for us to rest our feet, and the ice cream was a favorite of our three year old. Also, with the bold green and white striped table umbrellas it was an easy to find meeting location when our party needed a spot to "meet back up" with each other. The lines always moved quickly and the prices are very reasonable for Disney.

Vanessa B.

Yelp
The strawberry ice cream was just ok, but for $4.50 a cup/cone you get a HUGE portion. I got one for each of my kids, but they could've easily split one and had leftovers.

Crissy I.

Yelp
Hollywood Scoops is a snack stand with outdoor picnic table seating in the Sunset Boulevard area of Hollywood Studios, right at the end of the street by Rockin Rollercoaster, Tower of Terror, and Fantasmic. After a late pizza dinner at Catalina Eddie's, BF and I (okay, mainly me) were looking for something to satisfy our sweet tooth. Hollywood Scoops was right there and, after a quick perusal of the Disney menus app on my phone, fit the bill. Instead of just the usual Mickey bars and soft serve (not hating, just not my thing), they serve real hard ice cream and some different sundae combinations, like an apple crisp a la mode and brownie sundae. We opted for the brownie sundae ($5.50). It was pretty late and there was no one in line ahead of us, and our dessert was served up quickly. The older gentleman who served our dessert was really nice and chatted with us for awhile about the parks and about our hometown - like always, Disney has great customer service. The only downside is the seating is the same dirty outdoor picnic tables (see Catalina Eddie's review) used by the other counter services on Sunset Boulevard. Yuck. I imagine the picnic tables could be super crowded at peak times too, leaving one with no place to enjoy their huge dessert, boo. Though the dessert was on the expensive side, it was worth it. The brownie was huge, covered in two generous scoops of Edy's ice cream, lots of hot fudge, and even a cherry on top. It easily fed the two of us and left us satisfied. Super sweet and a splurge, but so worth it! If you're craving something sweet and/or looking for something different than the usual Mickey ice cream bars, Hollywood Scoops is a great spot.

Christina A.

Yelp
We ordered two brownie sundaes and no one in my family would eat the brownies. They were overcooked and stale. The ice cream itself was fine.

Allison B.

Yelp
Excellent ice cream sandwiches using fresh cookies. The line was a bit long, but it moved quickly and the staff was very friendly. Use a snack credit for the ice cream sandwiches, great deal.

Amy M.

Yelp
I'm not giving it one star because of the food, the ice cream was fine. I'm giving it one star because of our experience. My son has autism, so when we are home it's gluten free, sugar free, dairy free, dye free......you get the picture. But when we are on vacation, all bets are off. My son is 15 and because of his "wiring" he is afraid of most rides, and so food is his entertainment when on vacation. My husband and daughter went onto Tower of Terror while I took my son to grab a treat. We have the dining plan, but I hadn't really used it yet up until this point so I was unaware of the rules as to what counts as a snack. We proceeded to order an apple crisp ala mode for my son and a brownie sundae for myself, and i told her as I ordered, "and I have the dining plan so please put that in as a snack and not a charge". She then ran into a problem and called another cast member over and she then told me that those do not count as a snack, I would have to pick something else. Now for me, that's not a problem, but for a teen with autism, changing plans can be a challenge. I explained the situation to my son and was able to get him to make a different choice. Well in the time it took her to fix our order, they had already made the previous order that we could not have. My son looks up and says "mom look! they made it for us anyway". While we are standing there watching, the lady holding them goes to another worker and asks what she is supposed to do with them. We then are standing right there when she comes out the side door, goes up to two different groups of women (neither of which were customers) and asks "which one would you like, you can have it". My son's jaw could have literally hit the ground. They would have rather gave them away to just anyone, than to make a customer happy (a paying customer who had bought the dining plan at that, those ladies paid for nothing). To add insult to injury, when I called Disney to voice my complaint, the customer rep found out that they actually charged me for those ice creams. It was a very "unmagical" night to say the least. The customer rep did try to make it right and sent some Disney pins and a picture to our room, but I think they missed the point in that it wasn't about not getting what we wanted, we literally had hurt feelings. It was the rudest thing I had ever seen at Disney.......well minus the lady behind our resort desk that rolled her eyes at a lady behind her back as she walked away. Disney, please be more discerning with your hiring :-)
