Great outdoor and indoor seating. Dog friendly. Excellent food. We went during brunch and had a couple of extra items from the brunch menu, which included my chicken and waffle. Which was absolutely great. Bourbon maple syrup from the distillery next door and crispy and seasoned breaded chicken tenders were well prepared. One waffle, perfect size for your tenders and sweet syrup. Service was excellent and laid back atmosphere was great place to people watch and enjoy the great weather food and service. Will definitely go back to try new menu options.

We’ve been to Hollywood Tavern multiple times - it’s always busy so was pleasantly surprised it wasn’t busy on this visit. Maybe because it was a Monday?. Service was good on this visit but can be hit and miss in the past. Food was good but not a “Wow”. I love the atmosphere especially the fire pit outside. It’s a great place to meet up with friends.

good selection of beer and cocktails. small but varied menu. Bar and table seating both fully indoor and outdoor. popular place but they have a big parking lot. service friendly but the order was wrong even after they confirmed the order with us. i guess patrons should physically check the to go bag but really, that’s on the establishment. food that was correct was good especially the Cajun wings. would return but mildly inconvenient this time.

Yesterday was my first time at Hollywood Tavern. I was looking for some fire spots close to brunch at with a girlfriend of mines since we will attending the lavender festival and the reviews from other customers is what sold me and I wanted to try this place for myself. First off the place is in the heart of Woodinville and they gave a whiskey place next to it that I'm sure they partner with for some of their drinks. The young man that greeted me and seated us was super sweet. Tyler (I believe that was his name) was our waiter and he was super sweet. I love how he remembered our orders by memory and that's not really easy to do. I worked in the food industry for years so I give him kudos. I ordered the blackened salmon with half Caesar/kale along with the stuffed mushrooms and a gin and tonic. My friend ordered the same entree I highly recommend the fried pickles. It was a bit of a wait for our food but I was well worth it. Everything was amazing from the service to the food. I definitely will be back. Thank you so much 🌞

The Hollywood tavern has a great vibe and the food was equally great. It is near the woodenville sports complex we went between soccer games. It was a great family place with a great salad, burger, appetizers, and entree selection. Definitely recommend giving this place a try!!

Deserves its rating. Pulled pork in Ancho Chilli Tots—delicious surprise. Burger and fries decent; could wow more. Outdoor seating ideal, plenty of shade despite brutal sun. Perfect stop biking Sammamish Trail.

Have them make you a Mocktail of their Blackberry Smash 😃🫐 it was so good! Also had the Hollywood burger with gruyere, bacon, and an egg and it was excellent. I would probably ask to substitute tots for the fries next time,

I have been coming here for years with my only complaint ever being the limited parking. Food is always excellent, service is friendly and on point even when busy. I've worked in service industry for years and respect the potential stressful nights in the industry. I had an awful experience recently. Lucky enough to find parking, restaurant was less busy than expected and after walking in the door met the rudest hostess I've ever encountered. I offended her by asking approx how long for a table outside, which I believe is within reason to ask the host. I was looking forward to an amazing meal with friends, but l left after a few snarky responses to my questions (I even tried to assure her I was not demanding service, just curious if it may be as really long wait as we were happy inside too‍) I wonder when I'll brave going back. Went to Vonns down the street and had a lovely greeting and a great meal. We had a laugh about the bizarre exchange. Maybe she was having a bad day, but she sure ruined mine. Hope she finds a better suited job soon so I can come back.

You know how you can look at a place and its menu and think - ya, this will be fine- why not?Well Holllywood Tavern exceeded our expectations way beyond this in every way possible. We were here for lunch on a Friday and the staff worked well together to clean tables and find seats for everyone. We sat outside at a picnic table and ordered our meals. They were out surprisingly quickly! We had the green goddess salad and it was delish and dressed perfectly, the cod and chips that disappeared so quickly it had to have been so tasty, and the french dip that stole the show.! I don't know why.. maybe it was the soft bread, the quality of the meat or just the whole combination of the meal. It really was the best French dip I have ever had. Service was great. Our server was on top of it and circled around regularly. I would return here- and will return here at the drop of a hat.

Came here for happy hour and dinner. Overall a fun place to stop in. Pros: Good seating and games were on! Decent happy hour menu Good ambiance - this place is cute Cons: No cocktails on happy hour menu Slow service - meal took forever to come out $2 upcharge to get your $22 burger without a bun. I get charging for gluten free bun but charging for no bun is a bit crazy.

Cute tavern, neighbor of the Woodinville whiskey co. Has indoor and outdoor (with fire pits) seating. Service was amazing, very courteous staff and we were seated right away. The spiced pear cocktail was very tasty, not too sugary, a good balance of ginger beer and pear! The wings were tasty so was the ranch (not store bought) that it came along with. The cubano was nice and the Hollywood burger was nice and juicy. Definitely recommend the place!

We had a girls night planned here on Wednesday around 7:30 PM for dinner. Just a heads-up parking can be tricky since it's limited and shared with another winery, so you might have to wait about 5 to 10 minutes to find a spot. The atmosphere at this place is really cozy perfect for a chilly winter evening. When we arrived, there were plenty of seats available, and we chose to sit in the main dining area. Our server was incredibly sweet and attentive, checking in with us every 15 to 20 minutes to see if we needed anything. I ordered the Hollywood Burger, cooked medium well. The burger was a definite hit I absolutely loved it! The bread and French fries were both amazing, and I was surprised by how well they complemented each other. The service was excellent, and our server was kind enough to split our checks three ways. One of the best parts? You can pay through Apple Pay online instead of handing over your credit card, which I really appreciated. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I'm definitely looking forward to going back again soon.

The menu is very limited and not much of a variety. We ended up ordering a chicken blt to share. Considering we were eating in the wine district of Woodinville , Wa and the uppity atmosphere we were expecting more out of the food than we got. The chicken was burnt, bland and the fries were stale. The tartar sauce tasted nothing like tartar sauce. As far as menu, food and taste we were not pleased at all. The staff were great and the waiter was too. But the price for the limited menu and quality of food was not worth the price.

ANCIENT TAVERN IN WOODINVILLE. This place was founded in the 40s back when Woodinville was dairy farm country. You definitely get that farmland small town vibe from the decor. You can sit outside in one of two patios. One in front and one in back. The front one is quite noisy from the highway. The patios are dog friendly. The food is pretty standard pub fare and there are also a small selection of microbrews on draft. A full bar is also available. . The service was prompt and friendly. The food was just OK. I had the Cubano which tasted OK but was not pressed like they do in Miami. My wife had these French fry nachos which looked tasty but, I didn't like how soggy the french fries were. All told the place is really cute and it's easy to imagine yourself back in 1944. It is certainly a historic gem and I'm glad it's still there. The bar, the atmosphere, the service are great and worth a visit. I wouldn't have the Cubano again , but really it was stupid of me to expect it to taste or be made anything like it is in Miami. Same idea goes for New York pizza, or Philly cheese steak or hoagie. You get the picture. So it feels Like four stars. Cheers.

Super cute and quaint by the bike trail so we stopped in for some shareable. Everything was pretty good! The outdoor seating was spacious and great to enjoy a drink and some apps. Fried pickles were crispy, wings were seasoned great, and the tots were yummy. Their ranch was also good which is always a plus!

They have Poutine! They call it Loaded Tavern Fries. It's a pile of hand cut fries with quality crumbled cheese, bacon and a bold homemade gravy. Delicious! The Charred Brussel Sprouts were flavorful. The Hollywood Burger add bacon and caramelized onions is great nice and thick. Mabel's Cajun Chicken Sandwich was pretty good and huge. The Orval Belgian Ale was not good, it tasted like a cow pasture. The Stoup Red Ale was pretty good.

We went here on a "staycation" for dinner Friday night and what a great treat. The food was awesome and reasonably priced. We shared a whiskey peanut-butter milkshake to start, which was like dessert in a mug. With 1.5 shots whiskey, it was very subtle and my wife (who doesn't like alcohol) loved it. The starters were great, esp friend pickles if you like them. We shared a meatloaf, which was perfect as it was large AND the best meatloaf we ever had. Top it off with our great server Samantha, and it was a perfect evening meal. We loved to see so many families with young children, who can sit in the dining room,

My bartender/server was wonderful. The cocktail he made me was delicious and he was very friendly. Price is a little high, but the patio is so cute and the firepit provides such a good vibe I will definitely come back. My only suggestion to the business is to make the bar area dog friendly. Everyone in Seattle has dogs and sitting outside is usually too rainy or cold.

I've been here several times and am consistently impressed by the service and food. I love the mismatched plates - adds to the ambiance. The firepit outside is also tempting! The green goddess salad is my favorite, but the loaded tots and pickles are also amazing. Had a great French Dip sandwich that I hadn't tried before. Lots of clean plates in our group, on a surprisingly quiet Sunday evening.

Came here for a night out and loved the food. We were quickly sat for a busy Friday night and staff was still very attentive. The food was a nice elevated bar food theme which you can't go wrong! I had the special of a peanut butter Thai chicken burger that was a special and it was great!

The best part about Hollywood Tavern is definitely the vibes and atmosphere. I'd go here 10/10 times. The food may not knock my socks off, but it's still solid. What really makes this place stand out is the fantastic atmosphere, excellent service, and great drinks. These elements more than make up for any shortcomings (not many) in the food department. The food and ambiance here were outstanding -- huge compliments to the kitchen. Unfortunately, our experience was ruined by our server, Colton. From the start, he was dismissive and rude: snapping when I asked a simple menu question, falsely accusing me of vaping at the table, forgetting a drink refill and then snapping again when reminded, and ultimately raising his voice at our group about a supposed "line of respect." His tone throughout the night was unprofessional, hostile, and left us all extremely uncomfortable. As a group with years of service industry experience, we were shocked at how poorly this was handled. Great food doesn't make up for being treated this way -- management needs to seriously address this behavior.

Best service! Best fried pickles! And the very best chicken and mashed potatoes with chicken jus I've ever had!!! Definitely make this a must stop if you're in the Seattle area!!! They also play great music and have a wonderful fire pit outside. What a lovely evening we had!

Hollywood Tavern is one of our staples for a mom's night out. My friends and I have been coming here since our kids were in the 1st grade and they're not freshmen in high school. We don't go as often as we would like, but it's the one place where we know that they have something for everyone. When you first arrive, there is ample parking in front and on the side of the Woodinville Whiskey Co. distillery, which, by the way, I highly recommend if you like whiskey. (Side note) I also sometimes buy these as gifts for my friends who are whiskey lovers. I'm not a whiskey drinker, but I have been told that it's very good. There is also a fire pit outside if you want to enjoy some drinks outside. It's kind of nice to enjoy a nice drink next to the fire when it's chilly. The staff is always so kind and helpful. Every single time we have gone there, we have never had an issue with our servers. They are very attentive and make great recommendations if you are not sure what to get. I have had a lot of their food and everything is always so good. Here is a list of the items I have had personally: Fried Pickles (awesome if you like pickles); Grilled Sourdough and Cheese Dip (to die for); Loaded Tavern Fries (So good!); Ancho Chile Tots (YUM!); Charred Brussel Sprouts (So yummy. My favorite!); Beecher's Mac (definitely one of the best mac and cheese I have ever had); Hollywood Burger (you cannot go wrong with this burger!); Cubano (so good! It's a perfect blend of flavors!); Blackened Wild Salmon Kale Caesar (I like Kale so I love this salad); Green Goddess (Great for the days you're feeling you need to be healthy, but it still tasted divine); and last but not least Fall-off-the-Bone-Pork-Ribs (you HAVE to try this, so good and they are not kidding when they say fall-off-the bone). You have to come to Hollywood Tavern. You definitely cannot go wrong here. See you again soon!

We stopped in after doing a distillery tour next door. We got the whiskey milkshakes, the holy cow and the nutty cow. I am gluten free so we got the fried pickles and side of fries. They do use a shared fryer so keep that in mind. The shakes were delicious and the food was great.

Great service and classic tavern-style food! Situated right next to whiskey tasting room, lively and loud atmosphere, and decent prices for large portions of food. Especially loved the fried pickles, cheesesteak, lamb burger, and Cajun chicken sandwich.

We came here for a quick bite after a great distillery tour at WWCo on a Sunday afternoon. It was a warm-ish fall day so we sat outside. It wasn't particularly crowded, but it took 10-15 min after we were seated to flag someone down to take our order. Luckily our ancho chili tots came out pretty quickly and were tasty. I could've done without the tortilla strips, but I didn't mind eating around them. Unfortunately, it took another 30+ minutes for the cheesesteak, and we were more than ready to leave at this point. We asked for a box when the it finally came out, then we proceeded to wait some more time to pay (and for water refill, which we never got). Overall, our "quick bite" took over an hour. Maybe they were just having an off day, but I don't see us returning to find out.

This whole place is a mood, I like how it is decorated inside and the outside area is huge with a nice big fire pit (hello summer hangouts)! The stuffed mushrooms make a great appetizer (they have a kick) and the loaded tots make a great meal despite being an appetizer. The burgers are huge , tasty but will put you in a food coma. Service was good , food can came out quick and no eye rolling when asked to split the bill!

One of my favorite places to go to on the east side. Mac and cheese are amazing and the seasonal beef stroganoff is stunningly good. Staff is always super friendly and outside is also dog friendly. Cocktails are legit! Hollywood Manhattan is my favorite. I am rarely able to make it there for breakfast on the weekends, but the breakfast burger with egg is one of the best burgers I ever have.

Really good wings for the price! Probably the best wings I've ever had at the last place I'd expect. Shake was really tasty too. Really nice waiter as well.

Nice little spot to visit when in town. Good variety of house specialty cocktails. Interesting choice for food on the menu. Some unique touches is what makes it special. We opted for outside dining. Our waiter was a bit shaky; but very helpful and put forth effort.

Went Hollywood Tavern on a sunny Week day. Had the Tots and famous shaved Prime rib dip sandwich and kids had Chocolate peanut butter shake. Service was great. Wish we could bring a group to sample the pickles or Green Goddess salad. Lots of varieties wink wink.

Such a fun atmosphere. Previously, had only sat in the bar, but really enjoyed the dining room. Great service, and great food...we all shared our dishes because they were so tasty...loved the meatloaf! Servers were great!

This was our first time here and they did NOT disappoint! Our waiter / server was the perfect touch and he made us feel so comfortable! His name was "Mack or Mac" and he was knowledgeable, genuine, friendly and made some very honest suggestions about the selections there. The chicken and waffle was their special that just started today and it was stuffed with ham and cheese, with the spicy chicken on top, alongside a Kale and lemony salad. I would have NEVER put those ingredients together, but kudos to the chef for being creative and not missing on that recipe. I ordered the other special to go "Braised Beef Grilled Cheese" for my daughter and I'm looking forward to coming back over time to try the entire menu! For appetizers, we had the fried pickles and they were delicious and they even seasoned/garnished the ranch dressing! There was also a buffalo dressing on the side and it was so good. In addition, we had the grilled sour dough and cheese dip and wowwwwww!!!!!! The sourdough collaboration with the cheese was a perfect pair! I like that the restaurant was not huge like Cheesecake Factory and also love that the portions were not out of control. It's nice to just enjoy a meal without the theatrics of the restaurant trying to turn as many tables as possible and make as much money as they can. It is very obvious that the owners goal is to provide good food, a great environment and an overall top tier experience. The BEST food I've had since living in Seattle has been in Woodinville (#1) and Ballard (#2). Me and my son talked about this place the whole ride home and may even come back tomorrow! Why did I wait so long to try this place?! I'm so glad I dusted off my yelp bookmark and finally have a chance to give it a go! Do you like interesting dining experiences?... so do I! Very cute large patio with chairs nestling around the fire pit, which also has wait service. PLEASE READ: I only write big reviews when something really rips me out of my chair. Just like you and everyone else on Yelp; I am a massive food snob. Fun Fact: I am a really good cook, culinary school, the whole nine. I am a Chef, but don't hold a hot pan in a kitchen and run an executive menu, so really I am a cook. An accomplished cook, but I don't put the badge on myself, because I don't deserve it. But I know when a restaurant has a solid executive chef or executive cook who has put together a killer menu thru trial and error, and has the line popping with dishes to make a restaurant glow with an appetite. When I go out to eat, it's not that I can't make this type of food(a lot of times I can't) it's also that I want to be served on, and have a wonderful experience. Anyone who owns a restaurant will tell you that It's not just the food. It's the staff and the ambience, The interior, the cleanliness from the bathroom the menus,the smells from the kitchen,music, greeting at the door: The Whole Vibe. The Hollywood Tavern. I walk in and it has some really good Country/Folk music and the vibe was uplifting and cheerful. Immediately, I recognized the staff are a family... And they are a well oiled machine. Picking up for one another and everyone has each other's backs. Bad can be a cancer and can ruin your business by sending that vibe to the customers. Very, very important to have a killer work team. I order a John Daly, and yes it's hard to fuck up a Vodka, Ice Tea & Lemonade... But dam, Eriban the bartender did something to it, that made it magic. Now this place has my attention. Hailey, my server comes up to my girlfriend and I, and just has this extremely bright and loving soul, is very engaging and tells me while nothing on the menu is bad, I should try the stuffed mushrooms and Lamb burger. I let the universe put my order in Hailey's hands and MY GOD DID THE UNIVERSE ANSWER!!! These Stuffed mushrooms ‍ were LIGHTS OUT! She took the menu away so I didn't even see what was in them as I went into my meal blind, but the mystery of how they were prepared has me scratching my head. I do know that there is Parmesan on them. The Stuffed Mushrooms were 5 STARS Then the Lamb Burger. Hailey explained the texture to me(pro server attention-most servers forget this one- But Hailey didn't) as there are brussel sprouts thinly cut and fried with a dash of salt to give the burger a soft bun to crisp crackle and a killer char on the lamb. (Also, this restaurant has VERY HIGH QUALITY MEAT, It's very apparent compared to your other burger joint down the street) Lamb Burger: 5 STARS Here is the best part circling back around from what I said at the beginning with a restaurant being a vibe and the staff. Eriban and Benny are the bartenders. Two cultured men with big smiles and engaging energy, they are serious about their craft in spirits and even more serious about your happiness. The kind of bartenders where if you are the owners of the restaurant, and you fired them, your business will fail. Told them about my plans to go to Mexico and they explained how they have places down in Talum Quintana Roo and that I can stay there whenever I want. These guys speak perfect english, spanish and put a smile on my face with their conversation and world experiences as the country music plays in the background. Mind you, I just met these guys... But that's how badass and awesome they are! From Hailey recommending those dam stuffed mushrooms to the Lamb Burger with crispy thin slices of fried brussel sprout, to Eriban and Benny wiping down bottles and laughing with the bar while country music is playing in the background; THE HOLLYWOOD TAVERN delivered!!! 5 STAR REVIEW

Located right next door to a brewery, the outdoor seating has an absolutely wonderful vibe. The indoor seating is tight but equally as beautiful. Service was welcoming and quick. First time coming here, but we'd come again. Drinks are delicious but dangerous. I had ordered the Wine Country Lemonade, and misjudged the alcohol content, but I definitely felt it hit by the end of dinner. In regards to the meal, every item was perfectly seasoned. My sloppy Joe was moist but not overly saucey. The tots and Cajun wings were perfect and queso or dipping sauce was unnecessary. But if you decided to dip, their sauces were herbally but complimented both wings and fries.

We love going to Hollywood Tavern! A cozy spot with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Everything we have had here exceeds expectations. Staff is always friendly and attentive. Today we made it for brunch, and it was a great surprise! On Sunday's they serve brunch til 2. It's not an extensive brunch specific menu, but the items they do have are great! We both ended up getting the amazing fresh squeezed orange juice. The Monte Christo was the perfect balance of salty and sweet, thanks to the scrumptious ham and Woodinville Whiskey syrup to top it off. Chicken and waffles were out of this world! A waffle with a crispy outside and fluffy inside. All of the chicken was tender and covered in a fantastic spice blend. Overall a great spot for a low-key brunch inside or out by the fire pit.

Food was soo good! Our server was very kind and attentive. I see why it's always so busy! Fun vibe and reminded a lot of Texas, rustic, good food and lots of fun outdoor seating options. Can't wait to go again!

Wasn't super hungry when we stopped in so just ordered soup and side salad only to be delivered the greatest tomato soup I have ever had in my entire life!! It's permanently on the menu as it's house made from scratch daily and I can't recommend it enough. I haven't stopped talking about it for 3 days - I need this recipe! Our server was also excellent!

Everything is amazing at the Hollywood Tavern. The food, drinks, service and atmosphere. You get a comfortable and cozy feeling and literally anything on the menu is good. Kahlia is an amazing server here, ask to be in her section!

Fricken Great Burgers! What let's get right down to business baby!!! So thick so meaty so fresh and hot and yes delicious too! Great spot for lunch when you are in the Winery District! Servers are fun and right on point! The upper NW vibe is a mix of local and brewpub! Our server pointed out his faves on the menu and suggested Fried Pickles! Amazing! Everything was grand!

I had arguably the best lamb burger I've ever had for lunch here today. My wife had the tavern cblt and said it was very good. The fries, also very good, weren't the frozen kind. I won't hesitate to come back. Parking is an issue but we got there before the main lunch crowd and found an open spot.

My cousin and I were celebrating her Birthday yesterday at The Hollywood Tavern as we have several times before for both of our birthdays. Our server Kahlia was outstanding! She went above and beyond with taking some photos for us, being very attentive, giving us take home options and adding a birthday candle to my cousin's Bourbon Milkshake. The Carrot Coriander Soup and Kale Salad were delicious. The only drawback is the restaurant can get quite noisy. I'll still give it 5 stars and will be back.

Literally some of the worst service I've ever experienced. It started out great with the host who was more than happy to help bus a table for us. The food was great as well. However, it took 15-20 minutes to be greeted by our server. He greeted us carrying 5 waters in his hands (seems a tray would have made more sense). It was great he finally arrived since I was about to tell my starving children we were about to leave. He gave us the specials, took our food and drink order... and after bringing our drinks (again not on a tray) we didn't see him again until we were done with our meal. He cleared one plate and then took another 10 minutes to bring us our check. I had actually gone inside to request the check when he presented the check to my wife. It was our first time here and we'd heard good things, but I don't envision a scenario where we'd ever return.

Listen, I've ordered delivery here a few times, but coming in person was even better! Food still amazing (get the Cajun wings and Cajun chicken sandwich) service was fantastic! Ask for Michelle! She was super sweet, fast, attentive and courteous. Will def be back again! Thanks Hollywood Tavern and bud thanks to Michelle!

Tried this place for the first time tonight and it was amazing! Our server Colton was very attentive and provided great service. Everyone I interacted with was so sweet, and the food was phenomenal. I cannot wait to come back!
