Didn’t think I’d be writing a love letter to a Caesar wrap, but here we are.
Stopped by Solarium kind of on a whim just looking for a chill rooftop spot and ended up discovering one of my favorite little hidden gems in the city.
Let’s start with the food: the Caesar wrap? Slept on. Super simple, but somehow packed with flavor. The chicken was fresh and seasoned just right, the lettuce was crisp (no soggy bite here), and the dressing was that perfect balance of creamy and tangy without drowning the whole thing. It didn’t try too hard and that’s exactly what made it so good. Paired it with a drink and felt like I had just unlocked the cheat code for rooftop lounging.
Now the vibe Solarium has this effortlessly cool energy. Clean design, nice layout, and the kind of lighting that makes everyone look like they’ve been getting 8 hours of sleep and drinking water. But what really sold me? The extras.
They’ve got a pickleball court right there on the rooftop. A full-blown court. So after your wrap and cocktail, you can smack a wiffle ball around with your friends while pretending you’re training for the Pickleball Olympics. It’s random, it’s fun, and it weirdly works. There’s also cozy seating, a few lounge areas, and enough space to move around without feeling packed in like a trendy sardine.
Staff was cool, music hit the right balance, and everything just felt easy. No pressure, no attitude just good food, good drinks, and a place that knows exactly what kind of vibe it’s serving.
