I had a lovely lunch at Solarium! The large windows flood the space with natural light and really elevate the atmosphere — it felt like an upscale experience without being too stuffy. I tried the steak skewers and they were absolutely delicious — perfectly cooked and flavorful. I haven’t had a chance to check out the courts yet, but I plan to soon. I did learn that court reservations start at just $10, which is a great deal. Looking forward to coming back and enjoying more of what Solarium has to offer!

Expansive space filled with vibrant energy. The courts and flow of restaurant/bar offer a synergistic experience complimenting movement and being social. More of what the world needs! Simple menu, with tasty bites. Friendly staff and backed by one of the best hospitality groups in the world! 10/10 recommend.

Didn’t think I’d be writing a love letter to a Caesar wrap, but here we are. Stopped by Solarium kind of on a whim just looking for a chill rooftop spot and ended up discovering one of my favorite little hidden gems in the city. Let’s start with the food: the Caesar wrap? Slept on. Super simple, but somehow packed with flavor. The chicken was fresh and seasoned just right, the lettuce was crisp (no soggy bite here), and the dressing was that perfect balance of creamy and tangy without drowning the whole thing. It didn’t try too hard and that’s exactly what made it so good. Paired it with a drink and felt like I had just unlocked the cheat code for rooftop lounging. Now the vibe Solarium has this effortlessly cool energy. Clean design, nice layout, and the kind of lighting that makes everyone look like they’ve been getting 8 hours of sleep and drinking water. But what really sold me? The extras. They’ve got a pickleball court right there on the rooftop. A full-blown court. So after your wrap and cocktail, you can smack a wiffle ball around with your friends while pretending you’re training for the Pickleball Olympics. It’s random, it’s fun, and it weirdly works. There’s also cozy seating, a few lounge areas, and enough space to move around without feeling packed in like a trendy sardine. Staff was cool, music hit the right balance, and everything just felt easy. No pressure, no attitude just good food, good drinks, and a place that knows exactly what kind of vibe it’s serving.

We were the only people in the bar at 7:30 pm on at Saturday! There were people playing pickle ball outside but no one inside. We ordered chicken skewers for $18. I would call these chicken toothpicks! Tiny for the price! Left after one drink. $56 tab. Would not recommend! The bartenders were busy talking amongst themselves. Probably looking for another job!

We decided to spend a late Monday morning here and I don’t regret it. Such a fun way to spend a girls day or add in another workout. The courts are well kept and the fee is priced favorable —-I am planning to buy my own rackets one day! We grabbed lunch inside the super cute restaurant and on Mondays they have a special which consist of beer and a burger. We also ordered 1/2 dozen oysters and fries. The courts are great and you only need a hour, as for the food….its ok. I will come back but I wasnt impressed by the food in all honesty. Our waitress was amazing and the tending staff was hospitable too.

Wow, stumbled onto this gem! Pickleball courts and a full service bar and restaurant. The atmosphere is a sports bar tennis court Solarium with fashionable cocktails and a unique menu. Daniel was an exceptional server proving insightful information on the menu and drinks!

Google
Celebrated a bestie’s bday here and the girls all had a blast! All the employees made sure that we were taken care of. The vibes were great and the own personal viewing bay was a nice touch!

Google
Mixed Feelings – Great Cocktails, Poor Pickleball Experience I was really looking forward to trying Solarium after they added the pickleball courts. The cocktails are great, and the general atmosphere is definitely a vibe—perfect for a night out. We booked a court along with one of the private rooms next to the courts for a birthday gathering, expecting a fun, elevated experience. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t book the private room again. The service was slow—it took forever to get drinks, and there was no music in the room, which made it feel disconnected from the lively ambiance elsewhere. To make matters worse, the TVs in the room weren’t working, so we missed out on using them for entertainment. The bar area, despite being farther from the courts, had better airflow and a much more enjoyable atmosphere. I honestly wish we had just stayed there. One of the AM bartenders really dampened the initial vibe. They were unfriendly and unengaging, even when we tried to be personable and chatty—not what you’d expect from a place known for its social scene. As for the pickleball itself, we had fun playing with our friends, but the setup wasn’t ideal. We had to keep pausing because people walking by would cut across the court (poor design). Also, their system for check-in process was slow— which took 15–20 minutes. That ate into our court time, and there was no offer to make up for it. We still had a great time because of the people we were with, but I wouldn’t return to Solarium for pickleball. Maybe I’d come back for a drink, but the private court-side rooms just aren’t worth it.

Yelp
Ambiance: Large beer & bar hall with an amazing garden patio filled with long tables, swing set lounge areas, and string lights that make the day/evening feel magical! Nice indoor area that has an industrial vibe. Given their seating/table options, this is the perfect spot for a Meetup or large group. Intimate/romantic date night spot as well with the darker lighting once the sun goes down. Holman Draft Hall is trendy & fun no matter the occasion. I loved the chicken Caesar wrap and fries! Great beer list and cocktails. Clean bathrooms. Parking was a bit difficult given the popularity of the area - but I also went on a Saturday night. Amazing time, I would go back!

Yelp
I have been to this place a few times and event held my birthday party there. It's a very cute spot. They are making changes currently so there is a ton of open space but definitely great to host a larger event. They have a patio and and inside bar area but also, kind of a glass hour section in the middle. It's hot in Houston, let's face it, this area is like a sauna or a greenhouse! They do have fans running at fi speed but it is just hot mid day and I don't think that can be changed. Any other time is great! I had a lemon drop and it wasn't great. So sour and lemon drops are my drink of choice so this was disappointing for $14. I also ordered the tacos, and really could not believe they were basically simple street tacos done up to look like more. Super tiny corn tortillas with a dollop of meat and some salsa and onions. Although they were delicious, I could have absolutely gotten this at a food truck for $5 and not $16. I would stop in for drinks but not for food. The service was great though. All the team members seemed pretty solid. No complaints there. Worth a try and since it's in the middle of the city, of course I'll be back

Yelp
Went here because it was close. Very disappointed. Beer and wine availability was lacking. Food from the menu was not available. But worst was they allowed cigar smokers to smoke inside the establishment. We had to leave abruptly. Definitely can not recommend it.
google avatar

Linda S.

Yelp
A good place to just hang out and vibe. There was so much seating. There were seats and tables all surrounding the building as well as inside. There were also multiple TV screens if you wanted to just watch some sports in the mean time. Good place that was priced well! Typical bar food with nachos and tacos, etc. Service was fast.
google avatar

Ryan M.

Yelp
With an extensive list of beers and a plethora of seating options, this is a must visit if you're in the area! The bartenders were friendly and had great recommendations. They also have a large menu of food options that all sounded great. Also, be sure to check out the outdoor patio with plenty of swing seats! I'd recommend for groups of all sizes!
google avatar

Jeffrey C.

Yelp
This place wasn't too crowded around 4pm. But there was construction getting into their parking lot. It vibes a modern bar and service was good here. Good food options were decent. Pickle fries were delicious with my beer.
google avatar

Rishi P.

Yelp
It was a hot day but had outdoor fan spray misters. Indoor was nice too but had a private event. We just wanted drinks and did non alcoholic and was tasty sparkling water. Good we kept it light with fries and naan dip. Food was laid out for the private party so we can see it and it looked great! This will definitely be a fun spot in the fall when it's cooler for games as there are plenty of TVs

Yelp
Peeps. m with the Elites village on this. Vibe is nice. Servers are cool. Music is house/club mix. People are great. Food is good but you will definitely have a tab that says you had fun. I came thru on a Friday night and enjoyed myself. Check it out for an upbeat meets chill night. #Pkast
google avatar

Keisha R.

Yelp
Cool place. Went on a Sat night and it was lively but night super crazy. Music was good and diverse. Bar tenders were attentive. The low lights were nice. Long tables, big enough for large groups but also good space for couples, duos, etc. And it has parking so that's awesome for Houston.
google avatar

Morgan A.

Yelp
What a great vibe this place is! Great brunch spot! Awesome food, the waitstaff takes care of the diners so well & very attentive! Perfect for hosting birthday's, large parties, casual dating, romantic date night, friends night out! They have their own parking lot which is a huge plus in downtown Houston! Definitely recommend!!! You can also host small parties here, engagement party, charity benefits, birthdays, etc

Yelp
I've been here 3 times the past week for the first time. It hasn't disappointed me once, the bartenders are very nice and welcoming. They also have such a big selection of beers/ciders/seltzer on tap. There is an indoor and outdoor area with lots of seating, swings and lights. Joy was great when I asked her about which beers are good. She gave me a bunch to try and was so patient and super sweet. Chris is awesome as well. Very friendly and helpful. I tried the fried pickles last time I went. They were good and crispy. Though a bit too salty. Really great vibes and I will be continuing to go and tell my friends about it!
google avatar

Lynn M.

Yelp
I think they change the food menu recently. A lot of the food options on Yelp do not match what they actually serve. We got the following Fish sliders : the fish they used were the Mahi Mahi. This was really good. I definitely recommend. Parm sandwich - this was good well. I was definitely expecting it to taste different. Both dishes were very flavorful. Every first Friday they have an art show as well which was pretty cool to attend too! Service was quick and clean. Definitely a fun date night bar.
google avatar

Shannon L.

Yelp
This place is pretty cool. Lots of space to spread out. Multiple bar tenders so not a long wait for a drink. They could use a few more ashtrays because there aren't enough for the outdoor areas. They could also use an extra hand to manage cleanliness between customer revolution throughout the night. I've seen worse and better on the sticky surface factor. I would be back. I totally enjoyed swinging in a wood chair with my old fashioned. So don't forget to check out the back area!
google avatar

Naveed A.

Yelp
Food, service, ambiance was amazing. Company Christmas party was held here last night and did not disappoint.
google avatar

Ravi K.

Yelp
I went there on Saturday night. They have decent parking lot so parking is not a concern. They have good selection of beers. I liked their IPAs. The music was a bit loud hence its difficult to talk. I liked the open ambience. Its kinda different from other resturant bars. Really enjoyed their beers. We also ordered fried and grilled chicken sandwich. They were super disappointing especially for the price. It was as cold as could get. They had no taste nor temp. Wasted my $15 on chicken sandwich. Overall it was an okay experience.
google avatar

Andrea R.

Yelp
Great little bar in downtown close to the main campus for HCC. Love the out door in door vibe and the drinks are good and they also have a private parking lot so that's also great for the downtown area
google avatar

Aisha D.

Yelp
Great food. Great atmosphere. Will definitely come again. I found this randomly by looking on yelp abs wasn't disappointed!
google avatar

Marlisa B.

Yelp
The atmosphere is fun and staff are very friendly. I got the patty melt and it was extremely dry. My cocktail was very tasty but my friend's wasn't very good (we ordered two different drinks). We did call ahead and they had a personalized sign on a table for us - that was really nice! All in all, we had a great time, and I will give it another try!
google avatar

Hugh H.

Yelp
Really cool spot. Good food and a great beer list. Indoor/outdoor setting with lots of TVs, fireplaces, and outdoor heaters.
google avatar

Tanisha T.

Yelp
Let's start with the good: Holman Draft Hall is vibey!! I LOVE the outdoor patio (which included mist blowing fans), the bright atmosphere, and esthetically pleasing drinks!! However, I went during brunch, had the breakfast burrito...and no. Do not recommend. I will likely be back because I love a good patio and a cute drink but I'll probably pass on the food my next go round.
google avatar

Kloie B.

Yelp
Didn't try the food, but the Moscow mule was delicious! Service was okay, the bartenders seemed friendly but possibly overwhelmed? Didn't bother me. Good music and chill spot.
google avatar

Neal T.

Yelp
Great place to watch sports lot of TVs with all of the local and National games. Great photo opportunities here. The patty melt is one of the best I have ever eaten. I order it almost every visit. They used to have sweet potato tots that were so good. Hope they bring them back to the menu.

Wesley G.

Yelp
Food is great. Ambiance is okay. Service and bartenders were terrible. Drinks were okay, but honestly I could get some better drinks at the gas station.
google avatar

AuBriana B.

Yelp
The brunch is so good, I had to try them out for happy hour! Met my friend here after a long work week and it was just what the doctor ordered. The outdoor portion is perfect and has different areas depending on your mood or size of the group: there are longer high top tables with bar stools, couches in front of the TVs and even tables with outdoor heating area over to the side of the bar. We tried a few of the frozens (Slippery Rabbit, the Makers Mark Summer Slush, and the Endless Summer ) which were pretty tasty. My favorites were probably Makers Mark and Endless Summer. Not sure if it's because the drinks were flowing, but the Loaded Fries are SOO good! You have to try them. I would come back just for the fries. The queso and added bulgogi jerky are *chef's kiss* Holman Draft Hall is great any time of the day, any day of the week!
google avatar

Brittney D.

Yelp
I like Holman! Great space with swings and tvs. I'm typically here just for the drinks- the frozen's end up being too sweet for my liking, so I tend to stick to a highball or a marg. My latest visit, however, left me pleasantly surprised with the food! Po'boy was like that!
google avatar

Kenneth C.

Yelp
Phenomenal place. Ambiance was very chill, the bartenders were nice and quick. Food was really good and I'd definitely come back to eat.
google avatar

Stacy B.

Yelp
Watched the Super Bowl here. Industrial decor, lots of windows, free parking, great food. I had a little glitch with my debit card that was immediately and professionally handled by the staff with so much patience and kindness. The owner reached out to me personally to make sure everything was resolved. I live in Fort Bend, but will make it a point to visit Holman Draft House regularly as I am treated like a friend there.
google avatar

Arie M.

Yelp
I really enjoyed the vibe of this place. It's open but even in a rain storm, the "Patio" area was nice and dry and warm (in an inviting sense, not temperature). On the night I was there, there was a graduation party along with some sort of "shower" and then our group so it has a really diverse set of customers. I didn't try the food however so look at the other reviews for that.
google avatar

Jingyan Y.

Yelp
One of the best happy hour locations in Houston! Ambiance: They have great outdoor and indoor seating, and even a cozy couch on 2nd floor! Outdoors there are swings to relax in and lots of tables. During Halloween they also have a mini "haunted house" to walk through. It can get busy here especially during happy hour from 3-6 pm weekdays. Service: always impeccable. Friendly bartenders, always helpful and happy to provide beer suggestions. Beers: pretty extensive list, divided up into types of beer ("malty and sweet" or "fruity and spicy"). You'll definitely find something you like. The most recent menu can be found on Holman's Facebook page. Price: select happy hour beers run $3 and frozen drinks are around ~$5. Wines are also half off during happy hour. Regular prices for beer ~$6-8 are also reasonable. Location: Right off the rail and very accessible. Keep in mind that the parking lot can get full during the late afternoon. But with the great happy hour, it'll be better to take the rail or Uber anyways ;) Dog friendly outdoors so being your puppers!
google avatar

Angela S.

Yelp
Delicious drinks and did also love outdoor patio and fire pits for cold. Fab Paloma and nachos!

Tanya S.

Yelp
Good music and interesting craft cocktails. Horrible assortment of beers on tap. For the number of beers you'd think there would be an assortment but they all were very similar. If you like lighter bears lacking that hoppy, funk note you need to go elsewhere. They didn't even have the basic domestic beers like Miller, Bud, Coors or even common names like Stella Artois or Blue Moon- and nothing even similar. Their happy hour is only on drinks and every food item we asked about they didn't have available. Pretty disappointing for a self proclaimed "draft hall".
google avatar

James C.

Yelp
great ambiance, friendly staff and plenty of parking for early birds. Food is just so-so and mixed drinks could be better for the price. There are plenty of beers on tap but would be nice to get some local beers that are recognizable or bottles beers?
google avatar

Paije Marie W.

Yelp
Don't usually come here for food, but came to Holmans for brunch this time and wasn't disappointed. I ordered the avocado egg Benedict and it was delicious! My boyfriend ordered the cheese omelette and was just as good! Service is always great, never had an issue with that and of course the ambiance is a chill vibe and always nice to come here on a pretty day where you can enjoy the weather with an open concept and outdoor/indoor type seating. :)
google avatar

Dev F.

Yelp
This spot is a Houston hidden gem, well not so hidden its size and outdoor space is 2nd to no one. I came in town for business from Miami and needed a relaxing vibe to network and people watch and this is my new spot. The staff was responsive and respectful. We order the thai sliders, shakshuka Hoagie and nachos everything was fire! The Chef Ashton came out and gave us a detailed over view of the menu and the concept framework that went into all the great food. Chef Ashton sent us to Woosters for a night cab afterwards and it did not disappoint either. Simple walk a block away.
google avatar

Conner S.

Yelp
Big yikes. Don't come to Holman for weekend brunch. I love Holman at night but for brunch it's a nightmare. The staff are really great and friendly but besides that it's not the move. Everything smells like old alcohol and throw up from the night before. The "food" took forever and couldn't have been worse. The chorizo omelet I got was disgusting, cold, & sitting in a plate of liquids. Once again the employees were super sweet but the food options aren't it.
google avatar

Taylor B.

Yelp
Stop by this spot on the way back from the Titans game for dinner and drinks. Spot is super cute, indoor pit door high too, table and couch eating, a little patio with swings and a second floor mezzanine overlooking the restaurant. Sit where you'd like. A few TVs were mounted throughout playing the football games too. You order at the bar and they take the food to you but they'll give you the drinks at the bar. We had the queso with chorizo dip and nachos. Followed by the chorizo burger (or sandwich). Everything was decent cheese was a little too thick and the burger could have used a little more seasoning and maybe cheese or a sauce cause it tasted a bit dry. Drinks were good, decent prices. Overall a pretty good spot to stop in for a social evening of some finger foods and drinks. Oh and it's a pretty decent spot to watch most of the sunset.
google avatar

Kevin C.

Yelp
One of my favorite bars in Houston. Sister bar of Woosters which is my favorite cocktail bar, but Holman draft hall has a nice blend of cocktails, frozen drinks and draft beers. They have HH weekdays 3-6 and on weekends 11-2pm. Very industrial vibe with metal beam infrastructure and open air layout. On nice days they can open the sliding metal frames to allow a gentle breeze. They have a 2nd floor with few couch seatings. They have swing seats on the left and fire pit seating on the right. And PLENTY of outdoor seating. The open floor layout dampens the crowd noise, otherwise it would be pretty loud.
google avatar

Mrsanchezmusicman S.

Yelp
Great beer & liquor selection. Fast service. Good food. Very nice, clean vibe. Nice cold drinks for a hot day.
google avatar

Waheed B.

Yelp
Ordered the nachos with "Kirby sausage." It was nothing more than hot dog meat. Terrible!
google avatar

Vanessa D.

Yelp
Super busy night. Establishment had 1 bartender and over 100 guest. I'm assuming it was a party that night so I felt for the bartender but service was lacking, restrooms were trashed and of course that took away from the quality we received. We did not get food but considering the lack of staff I probably still would not.
google avatar

Danna T.

Yelp
The best place to grab a casual drink! The ambience is great, tons of seating inside/outside/upstairs, service is awesome, and there's a great and large selection of beers/ciders/seltzer's/cocktails to choose from. If you're arriving after 10pm and are hungry (kitchen closes at 10pm), the Holman nachos are pretty dank. Love it here!
google avatar

Tabitha N.

Yelp
So much seating, indoor and outdoor. Came during happy hour and did work outside! There is currently construction so plan accordingly.

Teegan W.

Yelp
Fries are great. Ambiance is nice. Was cold inside, bartenders did refuse to turn on fire due to "leak". Drinks are great. Will continue to come a gain
google avatar

Susan H.

Yelp
Went for a group happy hour and was pleasantly surprised. It's a craft beer lovers paradise. The drinks, food and atmosphere were really good. WishI would have taken more pictures of all the sitting areas. I loved how opened the layout is.
google avatar

Juhi B.

Yelp
Great place to be laid back and relax with your friends, the bartenders were really nice and served good drinks and food! Of course, free parking is always a plus!
google avatar

Dominique N.

Yelp
This place is very spacious with different places to sit and enjoy your drink. There are swinging chairs- which is always a plus in my book. There is a great atmosphere and a lot of different sitting options. They have a ridiculous amount of beers on tap, so you can definitely find one you like. I am a sucker for sour beers, and they had more available than most places I have been to. I also love a good watermelon sour and can highly recommend that one. Although I have not tried them, they also have cocktails and food. Therefore, they have a ton of drink variety. They have their own parking lot, and I was able to find a spot on a busy Friday night. Parking available in Houston is always a plus. This is a place you could easily spend many hours at, which you can sure bet I did!
google avatar

Bailey R.

Yelp
I love the openness to this place and especially the patio that is FULL of swings to chill in! It's a great spot to hang out when the weather is cool and breezy. The biggest downfall of this place is that they don't appear to have servers at all - meaning if you're looking to order a drink, you have to grab it from the bar yourself. Doesn't seem like such a terrible thing to have to do, unless it's Saturday night and there's a line that's 50+ people long. Since I don't drink, I didn't have to deal with the crowd but my friends weren't too fond of it. Some of them even chose not to drink because they weren't willing to wait in line. Keep this in mind if you plan to check this place out on a weekend!

Lesley V.

Yelp
The frozen drinks were awesome! Bartenders were awesome. Beautiful place, I'd definitely come back. :)

Emily G.

Yelp
Second time coming here, and enjoyed both experiences. A good place to go with a small or a big group, as noise levels aren't too overwhelming. There was a long line to the bar, but the service was still relatively quick which made up for it. Definitely recommend!
google avatar

Lynn D.

Yelp
we stopped by for drinks and to hang out on the patio. the bartender suggested the "endless summer", so we got it. it was a great choice. we will be back. the patio has great views and it is very relaxing.
