Holy Buckets Halal Chicken & Pizza

Came here while visiting Chicago and will definitely be coming back. It was a bit of a wait but it was worth it because the food tasted very fresh and delicious! Tried the chicken sandwich and the Thai crunch salad and was very satisfied. Very kind staff as well. Can’t wait to be back

This place was great! I had the holy bowl, and my husband had fried chicken and mashed potatoes. Everything was delicious and fresh, and portions were a good size for the price. The staff was also really friendly. Will definitely come back here!

My friends and I went to celebrate my birthday at holy buckets after a basketball game. Most of us got either the holy bowl or the zinger bowl, I got the latter. Everyone else’s order was good but they forgot to add the chicken into my bowl! However, they were promptly able to fix the issue. They also gave me a free dessert because of my birthday/inconvenience. They also played the happy birthday song over the speaker per my friend’s request so it was a good time. The food was alright, I didn’t personally enjoy the zinger sauce as it dominated the flavor of the mash potatoes and the chicken.

Went here for dinner with some friends, and it was one of the best experiences I've had eating out in a while! The food was very tasty and juicy and the restaurant was very clean. I want to give special credit to one of the workers there named Osaid, who gave us an amazing experience with jokes, kind service, smiled a lot, and seemed genuinely happy to see us! He made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our meal and even checked on us. Talk about going above and beyond for customers! He definitely deserves to be recognized for his hard work and dedication to serve guests in the most unexpected way! Overall, my experience there was very pleasant and will be coming back for the hospitality and great food!

This is the best fast food I’ve ever had! I tried the Holy bowl, which is kind of like the Byrd Bomb. But this one is even better. The pasta, the fries, and the sauces are all mouthwatering. I love how they’ve crafted a bowl with a full serving of delicious fried chicken. I couldn’t finish it all, though. I think one bowl is enough for two people.

Sadly a disappointing experience. I ordered spicy fried chicken and they served me regular. Nashville sandwich was dry. They were out of coleslaw and bathrooms were out of essential supplies. They should halt operations if there is a maintenance issue rather then serving food with a guy walking around with pipes and tools.

Visited on a Saturday afternoon, it was a bit of a wait, but it was on the busy side. Ordered the 5 piece Chicken legs & thighs with fries. The chicken was good, juicy and crispy. Staff was very nice and generous. Try their sauce variety.

I ordered 4 chicken sandwiches — 2 spicy, 2 regular. They handed me all spicy 🌶️. I caught it on the spot and brought them back. Instead of fixing their mistake, they lied to my face, claiming they “replaced” them with mild Nashville sandwiches. In reality, they just ripped off the spicy stickers and tried to pass off the exact same food. That’s not a mix-up — that’s deliberate deception, pure laziness, and complete disrespect for the customer.

Lots of space, lots of parking, easy to access, and clean! The fried chicken is simply delicious. The rotisserie chicken was a bit of a let down, but everything else was fantastic!!!

Food was surprisingly better than my expectations. I went late & they were out of the masala chicken pizza but the bbq was decent albeit sitting under a heat lamp. Seems like they had off brand soft drinks & the fries were definitely the negative aspects of this place. Price was on the lower side but I was in the southwest suburbs. I'd return if in the area but it wasn't good enough to make a special trip for especially considering hot chi is closer & its worth mentioning that's it's slightly similar to honey butter fried chicken pizza from piece

This is delicious. If you want fried chicken, forget everywhere else. This is delicious. The sauces are devine. The buttermilk biscuits are fluffy and buttery yummy. The spicy chicken is just the right spice. Delicious food, great friendly service. I wish this place was in northern Virginia! I was visiting my sister who lives in the chicago area.

When it comes to halal chicken, my go-to place is Holy Buckets in Bridgeview! The food is great, the portions are large, the service is excellent, and the restaurant is clean! My new favorite is the Zinger Bowl! It's filled with yummy mashed potatoes, buttery corn, crispy halal chicken, topped with a spicy sauce. They also offer other bowl options, including the Holy Bowl that comes with fries and hareeka chicken (fiery hot)! I love all the names for their foods, and I definitely recommend Holy Buckets!

Had it for the first time today. TBH I'd was really good. Out of 8 pcs I ate 7 I can't say about the service as the family brought it home, but I've heard good things about them.

Came here on a Sunday during Ramadan and there was a huge line and we were all waiting for 10 minutes or more ..someone from inside came and said they ran out of food!!!! what a disappointment. So just fyi, if anyone is planning to come here for iftar ..be there atleast 2 hours before for your food..otherwise you might be out of luck. I wish they prepared better especially knowing it's Ramadan and they might be busy so maybe have extra staff and extra food ? I gave 3 starts because I have been here before for takeout (before Ramadan) and their fried chicken is always good!!

Amazing tasty chicken... and it's Halal. The flavor is amazing you can tell they cook it in a healthy oil. The taste from the fries and the shrimp and chicken is all different because they cook it with different oils, and they don't fry it in the same place. This is quality food. The food was very hot in temperature which is amazing for me because I love my food hot. The first thing that caught my eye was how clean and presentable it looked. The kitchen looks from the register area very organized not overly crowded. This is what will keep me coming besides the food taste. Prices are great and the customer service is friendly and welcoming. They even have a private area for birthdays or celebrations. They have occasional specials. Thank you I had an amazing experience and def will be coming back. You guys have to come and try in different items I. The menu.... since the whole menu is amazing.

Love the fact they have halal pepperoni pizza. I drove few hours to get there and I must say, it was worth it. I had the Gaza strips and pizza. Super delicious, great service, and clean restaurant.

Holy Buckets has amazing and flavorful fried chicken! When this place first opened, it did not have a dine in area. I remember eating in the parking lot and thinking it was the best chicken. Now they have expanded and it's so clean and spacious. We ordered the holy bowl and hot honey chicken sandwich. Everything was flavorful! The chicken was juicy. The sauce has the right amount of kick. Bonus is that they have fountain soda with free refills which you rarely see in a halal joint. Now they need to open closer to the Northwest Suburbs! Service was fast and it seems like they have a party room now too so that would be cool to check out for small parties.

I was shocked that the place was empty, but I was really happy that I didn't have to wait for service. The place is really neat, and it feels like it is pretty to itself on the strip, given that the service all the other services appear to be for things like Halal and lamb, which is delicious as well. May need to see if I can find a review of one of them and try it out.... but back to this place. You get a very generous helping in the amount of food, and it definitely has flavor. I really enjoyed my honey hot chicken sandwich and fries. The hot sauce is a mango habanero sauce. It is for spice lovers, but it just gives a subtle kick. The people there were very nice and hospitable. They had cheesecake and cookies available too. I had to stop myself, though... I've done enough damage for this visit. I'll definitely be back for another sandwich.

My chicken was dry and really didn't have much flavor. I was really hoping it would be amazing. I traveled pretty far for this. It was not worth the trip or hype.

Visiting bi weekly from California so thought to give this halal chicken place a try.... Great Customer Service. A bit chaotic during what seemed to be a dinner rush.. I specifically asked if the 3 pc chicken would have a breadt piece and was told yes... but I got 2 thighs and a leg instead. Not upset too much since they tasted really good. The fries were good and the biscuits were really great. I ordered spicy and I would probably say its more like a medium spicy nonetheless really good tender chicken. I feel that management needs to help out more during rush hours (30 minutes for 3 pc chicken n fries) so to make sure customers orders aren't done wrong as not everyone is as forgiving. And I say this because I witnessed one other customer accidentally take the wrong order. I still gave the establishment 5 stars even tho I didn't get the chicken piece I wanted Plus I waited 30 minutes for a 3 piece chicken a d fries... 10 minutes should be tops.... Nonetheless I gave a 5 star simply because of the customer service and the quality of the food. All around great food just needs a bit more organization but hey still worth the wait till they get there.

The Chicken is better than Popeyes, chicken is freshly friend so you will have to wait for your order. Place is very clean.

We tried the Abu Deek sandwich and 3 piece tenders and fries. The Abu Deek is supposed to have chicken, mac and cheese, and fries in the sandwich itself. The flavor of the sandwich was good but primarily attributed to the sauce. The chicken itself was dry, there were 6 pieces of mac and 4 fries in the sandwich; had to double check they gave me the right order since I couldn't tell there was anything besides chicken. The addition of the mac and cheese and fries was more of gimmick; didn't do much for the taste of the sandwich. They are overpriced for the sandwiches for sure, $12.99 for sandwich only. The 3 piece tenders were dry with hardly any flavor, no sauces included except for ketchup. Fries were fresh and crisp, biscuit was also good. Sauces were extra to buy. Customer service was not the best, the guy taking my order was a little rude. The restaurant itself is clean and has a nice vibe with wall art and neon signs.

Food is delicious but it's not worth it to wait for the burger for 45 minutes and the Services not acceptable very disappointed After 45 minutes waiting I lose my appetite. I asked for my money back they give me the attitude, Waste of time

Very clean establishment. I had the six piece fried whole chicken wings which came with fries and a biscuit. Very tasty chicken. Nice customer service. The chicken is cooked to order so expect to wait. Chicken came out hot. My only Criticism would be there's was a little bit too much salt in the batch I had. Scale that back and I'll be back.

Hard to find a good zabeha burger around here, but they have the juiciest double cheeseburger. You won't regret trying!!!!!

Best chicken and amazing customer service! The restaurant was very cleans and the booths were very spacious. The chicken was so fresh and crispy, I believe it's made to order and absolutely worth the wait. The mashed potatoes were so fluffy and light, mac n cheese was creamy and well seasoned, fries were crispy and delicious, the biscuits were huge and so fluffy and the honey on top completes it without it being sweet. I tried their Abu Deek sandwich and was blown away by how big and tasty it was. If you haven't been here you need to! By far the best chicken I've had! Forgot to take a picture, too busy enjoying everything. The whole table was silent as we ate, signs of a great meal.

SO DELICIOUS. SUCH A GREAT AND COMFORTING MEAL. IT WAS LIKE MY FOOD GAVE ME A FAT HUG. I would never eat the bowl I got every day but this treat was such a delight. I am very pleased with my experience here and will most definitely be coming again and getting some of their other menu items (I probably could eat those more often lol). It was fresh, tasty and delicious. Quick service and kind associates.

This restaurant had very pleasant customer service (the cashier was kind and patient with us!) and a chill ambiance. The food was delicious; for context, I ordered the 6 pc boneless buffalo wings. Delicious! I would definitely recommend going to Holy Buckets if you have the time. You won't regret it and you'll leave feeling very happy and full!

We had dinner at Kabul Kabob. After walking out, I was like, "Holy cow, there's Holy Buckets!" While my wife browsed a clothing store in this strip mall, I took my son into Holy Buckets to check it out. It's a takeout-only place. They have a few seats for waiting, but no tables. It seemed clean enough inside and well-lit. Although I was already stuffed, I couldn't help but order something to take home because I'm not in this area often. I got a Holy Bowl. I tried some after getting home, and it was pretty good. The chicken seemed like good quality, and wasn't really greasy. Aside from fried chicken, the bowl contained fries, mac & cheese, and something like bbq sauce. Not healthy, obviously, but certainly fits the bill if you want some comfort food.

Best place I've ever eaten with the best cusomer service by Ahmed, I have never had someone make sure I was so well taken care of and had anything I needed and took my garbage as well. I will for sure be coming back to this establishment

The bone in wings are the smallest I've ever seen and overpriced for what you get. Not worth it in my opinion.

I heard good things about this place , I came from Indiana to try this place . Two young men were behind the counter one of them acknowledge me the other one to busy on the phone and shooed me away . I was surprised on how expensive this place was for 5pc tenders 16.00 you get fries and a biscuit. I got my order to go . Got home and only got 3 pieces . Fries to oily and biscuit had a funny taste . Will not be back to expensive and quality of food is not the best . And need to work on customer service. If you go make sure you have all your food .

The food is very good. Nice people. Family owned business and hard working staff. The location was very clean and nice. The food was warm and fresh, chicken was nice and fried but yet so savory and tasteful. Overall a good place, I would give them a 7.5/10 which is a great rating for a suburban restaurant.

It was our first time here and we ordered the 8 pc chicken bucket with a large side of mac and cheese, fries, and a small side of rice. The mac and cheese is very cheesy and flavorful. Fries were seasoned and crispy. The chickens weren't oily at all and just had the right amount of crunch on them. The establishment itself is clean and organized. We'll definitely be coming back to try other things on the menu!

bbq/chicken pizza is the best!! hands down the most delicious pizza in the U.S!! totally recommend.!!

Chile this needs to replace KFC or whatever!! I need this restaurant to be as local as a McDonald's! First off their chicken looks as good as it tastes!! Hun it's seasoned RIGHT, Chile!!! We ordered the Holy Bowl which was definitely blessed!! We also had the Zinger chicken sandwich, popcorn chicken, and Medium Shrimp with fries. Try their milkshakes as well, as they were really good!! We did have a slice of pizza but will definitely be returning to get a whole pie! All in all the food was more than good, it was nurturing!! Go get you some!!

Food was great! Prices and speed of service? Not so much. We got a bowl and it took over 15 minutes to get it. Not to mention for the crazy price it was a couple fries with a little scoop of Mac and a little chicken drizzled on top. Granted, they tasted great! Just when you're paying that kind of price you really aren't getting your moneys worth. I kept seeing this place on TikTok so their advertising is great, but honestly for those prices I had half a mind to walk out once I saw them. I assumed that the portions would make up for it but unfortunately not. It's a great spot if you're feeling peckish!

Loved the concept of Holy Buckets. Lots of options to choose from. I got the blazing bowl and my favorite part was the zinger sauce. The mashed potatoes in this bowl are a little confusing - maybe because I'm use to having rice at the bottom of the bowl rather than mashed potatoes. Food took 7-8 minutes to be ready. They were very packed as well at the time I went so I was glad the food didn't take long to be ready. Will definitely come here again!

Very delicious chicken and nyc style pizza - always fresh and crispy, I particularly loved the pepperoni pizza and the 3 piece chicken with the garlic sauce. Very good customer service as well!

Now this is how chicken strips should be made the food here is really good. The fries were to die for and biscuits I could think of 1000 things I can do 1000 along with having an M with the chicken I went to the one in Lincolnwood I will definitely be back and tell my friends about it. The service was excellent. The ambience is nice and clean and airy.

A bustling place with a myriad of chicken options. They have boasted chicken in both spicy and not(the spicy has some zing to it!). My favorite item is their Holy bowls, the Zinger is a top choice with its zesty sauce on top of Mashed potatos. Another bright spot is their Hot Honey chicken sandwich. It is a generous portion of chicken on top of a fluffy bun. It has just the right amount of heat to enjoy! This place is very friendly and so very delicious! They also have started serving pizza, a delicious option for the chicken averse

Only got the wings. Taste is good but the wings need to be cooked more. The deeper you get the rawer it is. Ruins your appetite when you see uncooked chicken. This review is after giving this place a second chance. The wings were undercooked both times. Had to throw it out the second time. Disappointing.

Iwas impressed by the quality of everything we ordered. It was all made fresh to order, resulting in hot, fresh chicken and shrimp. Moreover, the chicken in the Holy Bowl was crispy and hot, complementing the other textures perfectly. I highly recommend holy buckets and will return.

Holy Moly! This is a halal chicken restaurant and the strips are amazing. They offer, chicken pieces, strips, bowls, wings, & shrimp. I ordered the 5-piece Gaza Strips for $11.99, comes with fries and a biscuit. These chicken strips are delicious! They are large, plump and juicy.  I don't know what seasoning is in that crispy coating but it is addictive! We could not stop stuffing our faces. The Holy sauce, while not necessary, is a nice addition of sweet and salty (think Chick-fil-a sauce). The fries are average, the biscuit leans more towards a roll than a true biscuit but that's ok. I tried a side of mac & cheese... I don't need to get that again and I'm glad that I decided on the strips instead of the Abu Deek Chicken sandwich (which has crispy chicken, mac & cheese, fries, and holy sauce). The mac was too loose and not very flavorful. I gave samples of my strips to a couple of coworkers who had also never been to Holy Buckets. They were so good, that they placed an order online and went to pick up their own! I will definitely be back for these strips and look forward to trying their other dishes.

Im writing a review 8 months later but I remember this meal pretty clearly for being very unique and not your typical halal fast food joint. They've really put a lot of effort into their business. I had one of their chicken bowls and one piece of the fried chicken. The bowl was truly out of this world. The combination of Mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, chicken, and the sauce was all The food came out fresh and piping hot. None of that hours old chicken sitting in a hot box stuff... However, I'm taking 1 star away because the fried chicken breading was a bit bland even though we got the spicy flavor. Dont get me wrong, the chicken itself was cooked perfectly, it was fresh & hot...but it was basically flour batter...spicy should be a lot more than But they're new and overall i did enjoy my meal. So Ill def be back.

The place is really nice and comfortable seats the place is really aesthetic and overall an amazing restaurant and would definitely highly recommend.

Owner is not honest he lied also is not halal they buy cheap what ever they find one person working in side that's what I know if any one go there in walking cooler is very bad smell never know how is the temperature in there
