Holy Craft Beer Bar

This craft beer bar is located outside the noisy drinking street—which is great! They have a lot of pale ales on the tap and fridge. When I visited, the only nice beer (in my opinion) on tap is from Elmeleven so we decided to get something from the fridge. They have Funky Fluid and Cantillon, which is great. As someone who loves sours and pastry stouts, I didn’t have much option here. Also, Funky Fluid is extremely overpriced here: 16€+ is diabolical. Other than this, I guess it’s okay if you’re not picky like me. It would be nice if they will also have Omnipollo, Arpus, Lervig, more Põhjala, Sudden Death, and Funky Fluid options, etc. The staff are super nice and friendly.

Surprisingly Dusseldorf does not have a great craft beer scene, it's all alt bier and traditional German ales. This bar is an exception, advice is to check out the bottles and cans for greater variety. I'm sitting outside now 😁

Really cool find in Düsseldorf old town. Felt very welcomed from the start and the drinks selection was great. I enjoyed a tasting flight followed by some alt beer. Really would recommend for beer lovers. Very informal and relaxed with some great music on too.

Great place if you want to enjoy some of Germany's tasty beers. The place is quite small in size, so I recommend making a reservation. This place is not a restaurant and only has some simple snacks, like flammkuchen, nachos, etc.

The perfect spot for craft beer lovers in Dusseldorf. 12 beers on tap and 50 bottles. Rock music. And finger food.

When I couldn't drink another light, dark or - you crazy spontaneous Rhinelanders! - summer altbier, I praised the Craft Gods when I found Holy Craft (get it? Holy Craft! Very funny) Unfortunately they didn't have any German Craft and I ended up drinking some good brew from Vancouver, B.C, but hey, if I want to do that, I'll hop a flight to Canada and drink it fresh, right? Hanging outside was kinda entertaining if you like watching houseless people fighting and - presumably - dealers cruising in blacked out Hummers (sooooo, gangster). What an amazing find! You never think that you find craft beers in establishment in Germany but there it was! Do you would expect the more traditional type German beers an Alt, Kolsch, a bock, etc. Absolutely impressive and you have beers across the spectrum for all kinds of beer fanatics! The staff was friendly and quite notable about their beers that they had I was incredibly impressed. We had such a great time I hope upon my return visit to the Area I will have the opportunity to come back. It's amazing some of things you find when you venture out to new places.
