Holy Grill Food Truck

I came in with my friend and had their house kabob, and it was really good, I came back and had the kabob burger and really enjoyed it!

I recently tried the Holly Grill food truck and was blown away by the delicious holly grill burger! The portion size was generous and more than enough to satisfy my hunger. The service was fast and friendly, and there was plenty of space to sit outside with the communal seating. I highly recommend this food truck for anyone looking for a tasty and satisfying kosher meal!

Bad service. Bad food. Be weary about it actually being "kosher" everyone. Order online? They will cancel Your order after an hour. Call them? They will hang up Order in person? They will treat you like trash if you are not Israeli.

This is the best food I've ever had in my life. Ignore every negative review and come experience what this truck has to offer. Amazing food, awesome staff. I come here 2-4 times a week and every new item I try has been amazing.

I voted 4 stars because they always didn't have kabob even if you ordered first thing in the morning. My boss loves the food here because it's Kosher. We usually order for company party. Serving size is big . It's delicious -and made fresh .

I ordered the Morrocan sausage with rice and salad. It tasted bad. I threw it away. The rice and the salad tasted old. The pita was burnt.

The food and service were above my expectations. I really liked the vibes of this spot. Awesome place to take the family out for dinner.

The food was great the price was good and the owner was amazing they made the food on time and they will bring it to your car you don't even need to get out. If you go there try the shawarma it's delicious and the rest of the menu is great everything is great there one warning beware of the red hot sauce it's fire it's yummy but very hot just be careful lol

Okay this place is very untraditional in a way , your basically eating in a parking lot under a tent but let me say this it's worth it. Super fresh high quality food made to order and served by friendly people. Excellent choice if your looking for casual quick lunch in downtown LA.

I'm really impressed with this place. The owner was smile to us from the beginning and welcome us with salads on the the house the food was crazy tasty and fresh we loved that For sure I'll be back and highly recommend this place

I usually have the shawarma pita. This is one of those great lunch places. Convenient if you work in downtown and keep kosher

If it wasn't hot outside and if there was a parking lot it's a pretty good joint. Great tasting glat kosher food. Had some pita shawarma that was pretty bomb and tasty Hummus with some other spices. Worth a try if you are in the area.

I'm upset at those who gave one star. What a shame. This truck is awesome and thank God we have it. To have nice, warm, delicious kosher food right next to where you work....what do you need more? It's quite amazing how spoiled we became. People give a one star review because they were not able to get an order placed online. Give us a break. Get up and go down there to get your food. It's a truck. Not a massage parlor. Definitely deserves a 5 Star!

I schlepped over to LA to get me some hummus and pita. Oy vey, was i in for a surprise. The food here isn't very authentic and the staff has a look of bewilderment on their faces. Come on guys, get your act together.

This is the yummiest Mediterranean food in town! It always taste fresh and yummy. We didn't eat in but I saw that the restaurant has a good amount space, is newly renovated, and modern looking. I recommend the falafel, or any of the "plates". We tried the shwarma, falafel, london broil, schnitzel and another marinated chicken plate starting with a "P". Each came with 4 salads of your choice. We tried most of them. You can't go wrong but watch out for the spicy ones...they are very hot! All the "plates" were all delicious but I especially loved the london broil and the schnitzel! And the pitas....!!! They are so fluffy and delicious I am sure they make them right there in the story! If you want to try some fresh tasting, healthy Mediterranean food, this is the place to go!

After finding this place it's pretty cool the food is amazing very Israeli. The only issue I find is that they are not stable enough when it comes to having everything on the menu for instance one day they won't have schnitzel and hot dogs and the other day they won't have pargiot other than that the food and ambience is very good. Looking forward to eating there in the future

I rarely post anything but today I tried Holy Grill and it was amazing! The food was delicious and I thought it was not as expensive as other places on Pico, for instance. I live close by and now that I have discovered this place, it'll definitely be my go-to restaurant! Thank you Holy Grill! Hag' Sameah

Love this place! Regular here. Everything is very fresh, Aviel does a great job maintaining the place. They have a kosher truck in downtown LA which is really good as well. Worth checking out it you are in the area!

Very pleased with what I get from this Kosher food-truck. Beyond my expectations in terms of quantity, quality and freshness! Among what I get there is the omelet sandwich: 2-3 eggs, 2 types of salad and humus in toasted pita. Comes with pods of tehina and hot sauce. Delicious and large portion! The few different types of chicken sandwiches I had there were very fresh & tender. Seating in the shade is provided. Even a washing (netilat) station is available!

Kabobs are dry and the hummus smells like oatmeal. They are very slow and make horrible food. Maybe they are too busy over cooking their proteins to service their customers efficiently? Absolutely disgusting. There are so many other places serving Mediterranean fare in LA. Save yourself the trouble and find another establishment. In laymen terms, their food sucks!!!

Don't order online; they don't do that. Tried placing an order online via Yelp/ Eat24, however after nearly 45 minutes it did not go through. Two of us tried to call the posted phone number to see what was going on, however the phone number is out of service. Eventually Yelp informed me that the order would not go through and recommended cancellation. Long story short; don't offer delivery options if you don't do it.

Love the Israeli food here!!! I recommend the shawarma, shakshuka, and shnitzel. My mom likes the borrecas.

Let me tell u something guys... If u didn't eat at this place so u don't know what food is!!!!! Amazing kosher food. I was working at downtown and I'm eating kosher only I looked at yelp and found the Holly Grill. There food is super fresh and delicious they cook everything in front of you very clean and professional and from talking to the owner there I found out that they do catering and one of my friends already book them for next month to cater his son B day. Great choice thank u so much Holly Grill.

Bought this for coworkers, as catering for just ten. EVERYONE loved it, including people who have NEVER had food like this. I however, have, and it is the best that I have ever had, both in the truck and at their restaurant. GO FOR IT!

really don't know what goes on in that truck. Absolutely 0 communication between the person who takes orders and the delivery man. Been overcharged or double charged twice now in two weeks, orders mistaken and and they have an excuse for everything. Food is alright, service is horrible.

Repeat customer, my friends and I go out for lunch and their food is cooked to order. I get their chicken shawarma on pita and it's sooooooo good. The pita bread sticks to your food and is chewy. Love this place!!

Adiel hooked me up with an order of shakshuka (ordered right before closing, ordered inappropriately for lunch even though it's breakfast. It was spicy, tomatoey, with the yolks just a bit soft. it came in a massive plate, accompanied by Israeli salad, a side of hummus, and a giant soft pita, for only $8. And it's RCC glatt kosher certified, which means they're using more expensive protein. I mean, is there a more interesting food "truck" in LA right now? I don't think so. The staff observes shabbat, so they're not open on weekends, and shut down pretty promptly as the Fashion District closes shop in the early evenings.

Hired The Holy Grill to do my sons birthday have to say DELICIOUS. The crew came very professional, clean, on time everything was fresh food was hot salads were fresh. Very disappointed! A coworker planned a work lunch and ordered via the yelp site. 10 min before the order was expected to arrive he received a cancellation email. We attempted to contact the grill and got no response. The phone number listed on the website is only 6 digits! Don't offer delivery if you aren't capable to delivering.

This place is good, but its overpriced, food trucks should not cost more than restaurants. The food is good enough to keep you coming back, but it wont blow your mind. the schnitzel sandwich is really good ($13 in a wrap) a schnitzel wrap at jeffs which is much better tasting and better quality is only $10 (not that the $3 is a deal breaker for me). Everything on the menu is decent and the food is made with love. People working there are the greatest and so nice. They work hard to satisfy us and they deserve all the credit. 4 Stars

This spot always hit the spot and working with attorneys that always preach they must have kosher for lunch is the reason I stumble across this place. He always hook me up. Always friendly and to a point he remembers my order now.

Best falafel I've ever had in my life - and that includes in Israel. They don't have it everyday so if that's what you have a hankering for, call first. The shawarma is delicious too, especially with tahina, hummus and Israeli salad added. The only thing they're lacking is Turkish coffee and another table.

Very good quality food that is really authentic. Not that many places that offer kosher food in the area.

Used GroupOn deal $7 for $12. The location is a street stall on 15th St and little noisy/busy. The Food is excellent. The meat on the Kabob plate was nicely seasoned. Hummus was good and their bread is awesome. If you don't expect a fancy setting the food is good and worth a try.

This is hands down the best place in LA for authentic Pita and Shawarma. All the salads were super fresh and tasty. Everything cooked to order and grilled to perfection.

I love the food and the staff are great. I work downtown and the chicken pargeot is amazing. I used to eat there every Friday afternoon with my son who has since moved out of town and now try to get lunch there once a month. Miss the weekly outings. If you're looking for great kosher food - order ahead. This a a food truck and production facilities are limited. Worth the wait.

I went to shop in downtown LA with my dad and we stumbled upon this fantastic place. I ordered the chicken breasts and my dad ordered the Shawarma. Both of our orders came out delicious. We will have to make a special trip just go come and eat here. Sooooooo good!!!!!

I was doing jury duty and yelped places to each. This is a short walk from the court house. Basically a stand on the side of the street and SO delicious. If you're this was its worth the walk.

It is very fast kosher food. The food could be better for the price they are charging. The service is fast and very nice. I do love how they have good deals on groupon!

Great experience with the Holy Grill....I ordered meals ahead of time and they were ready when I got there, the food was delicious and plentiful. Adiel was super helpful and the service in general was awesome.

I selected chicken breast in.pita bread and my husband chose a shwarma wrap. Both were delicious and generous in size. I don't think that I've ever eaten crispier kosher dills.The proprietor is charming! This is definitely a repeat

Not the best place serving is small and price is just $1 too high lol, but always hits the spot because I'm hungry when I go lol and it's the only place you can get kosher shawarma in downtown my favorite shawarma spot is in Beverly Hills same price as downtown but almost double the size :-), I would have given this place 5 stars if the portions where bigger ... it's just too small

Food is always great. Been here at least 10 times. Never disappoints. It's Kosher too, so they have to answer to a higher authority. Parking is a little tough in this area but what are you gonna do?

We ordered the bbq schnitzel burger, which was juicy and hot. The Fajitas weren't anything special. The fresh pita bread was soft and hot! Great kosher place in downtown!
