The Church of 100 Doors (Panagia Ekatontapiliani) is an absolute must-see when visiting Paros. It’s a stunning and historic site with a calm and spiritual atmosphere that immediately makes you slow down and take it all in. The architecture is beautiful, and it’s fascinating to wander around and discover the different chapels and details within the complex.
As someone who isn’t religious, I still found it truly fascinating to see how much significance the locals give to the church and its traditions. Watching the deep respect and devotion was in itself a unique experience.
Even if you’re not particularly religious, the sense of history and tranquility makes it worth a visit. This said however, it is not something far of special from other churches.
