Meet the Chicago Chef Behind the Obama Center’s Food Options | Eater Chicago

"The on-site NBA-sized basketball court serves as the largest rentable venue within the campus, with a capacity of about 500 for private events. It will be one of several bookable event spaces promoted by vendors and the campus itself, and eight catering vendors have been approved to serve clients there; event management partners plan to actively steer customers to the court as part of their bookings." - Ashok Selvam

Home Court: More Than Just a Facility, It's an Investment in Our Future! We recently had the pleasure of hosting a private event at Home Court, and the experience was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. The facility itself is top-notch, offering excellent basketball amenities and a welcoming atmosphere. Pat was incredibly accommodating and helpful, ensuring our event ran smoothly and that all our guests had a memorable experience. But what truly makes Home Court stand out is its mission. This isn't just a place to play basketball; it's a local non-profit dedicated to giving back to the community and genuinely changing the future for young people. Their commitment to development, mentorship, and providing positive opportunities shines through in everything they do. If you're looking for a fantastic venue for a basketball-related event, or more importantly, if you're seeking a worthy local non-profit to support, look no further than Home Court. Investing in them is investing in the potential of our youth and the betterment of our community. We were so impressed and wholeheartedly recommend them!

Our boys have taken the Fun-Dees class and summer camp here and absolutely loved it! The coaches are amazing and really know how to work with the kids and make it fun but also effectively progress their skills. When our boys started they were just kind of sort of interested in basketball. But thanks to Homecourt they always say they LOVE basketball now. We will definitely continue enrolling them in future programs here as they come available.

This establishment requires vaccine passports for parents to view their children practicing basketball. They require vaccine for all participants over age 12. You will be turned away if you do not have the vaccine or a negative test. Watching your child be safe and practice sports is now a privilege.

Attended a birthday party with my son. Great customer service, clean, friendly and the employee's were great with the kids. Had lots of games for them to play!!! Just couldn't give five stars because the parking sucks!

Yelp
We love home court! My 1st grade daughter was interest in basketball but didn't know how to play! The coaches taught her how to shoot, play defense, and ball handling skills. Such a fun program for kids! Can't wait to continue each session! And I love that it's year round (and has 1/2 day summer camps!)

Yelp
I owe my daughter's growing excitement about hoops to Pat at Home Court! When my 5th grade daughter decided to switch from soccer to basketball this fall, I thought it would be good to introduce her to the basics. I looked at their website and chose a session on basic skills. When I went in to sign her up, though, Pat (the owner) recommended a different session that would give her scrimmage experience. My daughter was a bit uncomfortable for the first few sessions and even said she wanted to quit (!), but suddenly, about halfway through, she started to feel more confident about her skills. She ended up loving it! I wouldn't have thought that this was the right session for her - which is why I'm giving 4 stars. A good facility is one thing, but having the staff expertise available to point kids in the best direction is what's important.

Yelp
If you want your son or daughter to build basketball skills and have a lot of fun this is the place! Both of my kids have been going for years and we have never been disappointed. They keep asking for more Home Court.

Yelp
My son has been participating in Home Court basketball activities for over a year. The level of coaching and support exceeds expectations. The facility and the equipment is excellent. It is not just about learning how to play basketball, but the little things that go a long way to developing character.

Yelp
For those of you who wish to increase your basketball skills in a safe and fun environment, I would highly recomend Home Court. Coach Jeff and Pat are friendly and have a great basketball I.Q., as do all of the coaches. The gym itself is spacious and clean, the equipment is great, and the programs offered at Home Court range from intense shooting camps to fun Scrimmage nights. It doesn't matter if you are 6 years old or 16, you are in for a great time no matter what.
