What a beautiful spot and such a pleasant surprise for an afternoon brunch. We were seated right away for our patio reservation and welcomed with great service. The food portions, quality and pricing were exactly what you'd expect in the neighborhood. My partner and I had the steak and eggs and the chicken sandwich, and both were solid choices. The only miss was the iced coffee, which came out extremely watered down and closer in color to iced tea. Still, this is a great place to bring both locals and out-of-town friends when you want a relaxing break from the city.

This is the most charming & lovely restaurant I have ever been to! From start to finish everything was wonderful. The staff were some of the kindest humans I’ve ever met and the food was unbelievably fabulous. I made reservations online through their website, I recommend doing that since while we were having our dinner. I watched quite a few people try to get a table but was told there was a wait. Valet is right outside the restaurant which was great to not have to drive around to find parking. And it was only 10 bucks! (+ tip him well, He deserves it) Okay now, the food 🤩 We got Truffle Fries for our appetizer 100/10! Water & a blackberry lemonade for drinks. Looks like they had a great cocktail menu too if alcohol is your thing. For our dinner my husband got the fish tacos and I got the treehouse club with a side house salad. Their ranch is so yummy! Food was all fantastic. My only small thing, is be patient. You can tell the food is all cooked with lots of love so it takes some time from beginning to end. Pricing was decent and portions were quite large.

Home restaurant is a very lovely and cozy place. We didn't make reservation, so had to wait about 15 minutes, but the staff were very nice. There drizzles fries and calamari were 10/10. The prices were reasonable compare to other places that sell fried calamari, but I think Home restaurant gave you more portions. The chicken & waffles was a large portion as well. We didn't finish, the chicken were very crispy.

Great environment and great food. Waffle chicken, the chicken was very well seasoned and lots of volume so I brought back home with togo and enjoyed it at home too. Workers were friendly too. I really liked the outdoor seats enjoying relaxing time under the sun surrounded by trees / greens.

Came here for a special occasion with family and had a wonderful time. Servers were very attentive, the atmosphere is very cozy, and the food was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend the Brussel Sprouts as a starter!

Great place to eat, especially for celebrating or wanting a slightly fancier night out. Ordered the chicken piccata and the ahi tuna salad and both were really good. Great ambiance and vibe with heat lamps for cooler nights.

Absolutely delightful brunch spot. We went with out-of-town friends and sat on the charming outdoor patio. The portions are generous, the food was delicious, and the people were welcoming and knowledgeable. We went at 10:00 am, which I recommend, because by the time we left around 11:15, there was a considerable wait. Can't wait to go back!

Went on a busy Sunday for lunch. Pretty long wait list but they were super busy. The food came very fast which was good. The pear,beet and goat cheese salad was perfection.

This cozy, welcoming restaurant in my neighborhood always provides excellent service, delicious food and warm ambiance. My husband and I dine here often. Each time we order something different, and whatever we tried are very flavorful and beautifully presented. Highly recommend the restaurant for girlfriends' lunch or family dinner.

Home Restaurant in Los Feliz has such a great atmosphere--cozy, inviting, and lively. The menu has a solid variety, including plenty of vegetarian options, which I really appreciate. The food itself isn't over-the-top or overly complicated - just well-made, satisfying dishes. Home is hands down my favorite dinner spot in the area! While I haven't had the chance to try their brunch menu yet, their dinner offerings keep me coming back for more. Most recently, I tried the truffle fries and the fried brussels sprouts. Let me just say, I hate brussels sprouts--but these were a game-changer. If I could figure out how to make them like this at home, I'd probably live longer. I also ordered the chimichurri pasta, which had a similar vibe to pesto but with a spicy kick. It was absolutely delicious. I actually forgot to take a photo of it. Another thing I love about Home is their mocktail menu. I tried the Mango Madness, and it was so refreshing. But what truly sets Home apart for me is how dog-friendly they are (people service is great too). They treated my little pup like royalty, bringing her a water bowl and even letting her enjoy her seat at the table (as you can see from the photo!). Overall, Home has an amazing atmosphere, creative and flavorful dishes, and exceptional hospitality. If you're looking for a spot that feels welcoming and offers incredible food, this is it. I can't recommend it enough!

I love that the heaters are always available to be turned on so you're never gonna be cold. I wish the sun can peek through more but even without it, this place is so beautiful and relaxing. The food is really on point and service friendly. Parking is definitely a challenge and you likely will have to walk quite far if you're parking on the street, but it is well worth the wait. The quesadilla and the chicken hummus wrap is amazing and very filling. If you enjoy libations, there's plenty on tap.

Beautiful restaurant with high quality food. We all enjoyed our time spent at Home Restaurant - Los Feliz. Our experience here was for brunch around 10:30am on a Saturday. Reservations highly recommended, as this place is pretty popular. To eat, I ordered the French Toast, which came topped with fruit (mostly berries) and powdered sugar. Admittedly, I wasn't a huge fan of the challah bread, but it did fill me up. Service was friendly, and the ambiance/decor was great. If in the area, I'd recommend checking this place out at least once.

This is my second time dining at Home for brunch. My first experience was fantastic and I dined with my husband and dog. I really enjoyed the chicken and waffles when I dined here last so I've been wanting to make another trip back. This time, I dined with a couple friends. As a heads up, they don't seat partial parties. We had a reservation at 2pm but didn't get seated until 2:30pm so it's definitely something to keep in mind if you have friends who arrive on Hawaiian time. It's been pretty cold in LA, so we were very fortunate to get a table indoors. We were all a little hungover so we decided coffee and cocktails were the move. I tried the watermelon cucumber mocktail... (I totally forgot the name of the drink) and it was really light and refreshing, but it was also a little tart from the lemon juice. I was expecting a more distinc watermelon flavor but I still enjoyed it. For food, I ordered the braised short rib and my friends opted for brunch. The short rib was very savory, hearty and tender... happy to say the portion was massive too! Definitely worth the price point. The service was quick, efficient, and personable! I didn't catch our servers name, but he was hilarious and definitely added to our experience! Our food and drinks didn't take too long to hit the table despite how busy this place gets. Another note, parking can a be a bit of a challenge and you may have to walk a block or two from the restaurant. There is valet so that is an option if you don't feel like chancing it.

This place is so cute. Let's start off with the ambience stairs, both indoor and outdoor seating that feels like a backyard. Inside each of the rooms feel cozy and intimate like you walked into someone's house. They have so many options for food between breakfast and lunch. So many items stood out to me, but we ended up sharing the breakfast burrito which I thought was a little bit too much egg not enough bacon but still really good, and the hummus chicken wrap, which was really flavorful had a crunch to it and it was so delicious. Their truffle fries are also really good, and I love when places have great ranch!! oh and really unexpected but the eggrolls were really good. I loved how they made it like flauta on the outside.

Been here multiples times. Every morning it's always busy here weekdays or weekends. They outdoor and indoor seating. Be aware that if you get seated outdoor the leaves and some dirt from the tree will get into your food. The restaurant can't do anything that's falling leaves from the tree get into your food. Food is okay, nothing special. Friend chicken with waffle or friend chicken sandwich are the best. Serving is small and pricey. Service is kinda slow because it's always busy . They have parking valet. There's street parking but it's hard. Only go here because closes breakfast place after hike at Griffith.

Nice atmosphere and beautiful patio. Foods is delicious too! Service is also satisfying.

10/23/24 Beautiful setting in Hollywood, great food, ambience & service! Totally bummed about missing our flight, my cousin suggested we decompress & wallow over a wonderful breakfast at one of our old haunts. There's no place like HOME is a unique place to have a leisurely meal under the canopy of 5 humongous & vibrant ficus trees. It definitely feels like dining at your friend's patio with several personal touches as decor. Surprisingly at 11 am on a Wednesday, there were only s few patrons dining in. We utilized valet ($10) to forgo the battle with finding street parking at this busy neighborhood. Promptly seated by a sweet & welcoming hostess, we were then promptly greeted by our server, Katie. She's a doll, pleasant & attentive. Ordered coffee for myself & a glass of Cabernet for Hubby. If you love medium roast, this coffee is for you, I, on the other hand, prefer dark roast. Hubby ordered chorizo bowl & I wanted Fried Chicken & Waffles, only, the pancake seemed to beckon. Katie suggested, why not? Best choice ever! It didn't take long & our food arrived shortly. Wow! Huge portion on the fried chicken & was it ever so scrumptious! Seasoned to absolute perfection, crispy the way I love it-- how does the cook know how I like my fried chicken!? And the pancakes? I forgot how wonderfully delicious, fluffy, moist, delicate chew & mouthfeel... I am in heaven. I almost forgot about the catastrophe this morning. It is that amazing! If you ever have the chance or if you're around this area, do not miss this great place for breakfast or brunch. It is fantastic & marvelous.! PS The last time I was here (which was many years ago) the other side used to be a café. It is now a bar that is part of this restaurant.

Me and my friends were in the neighborhood trying to find a place to yap a bit and get some good food. And we happily stumbled upon Home. The vibe here and ambience is so cute and relax. The outside seating area was everything and a nice day and made it feel more "homey" oddly enough because of the name lol. I ordered the French toast breakfast which is your typical egg meat and French toast. It was very flavorful and noting out of the ordinary but i really can rave enough about the patio. It made it so nice to catch up with my friends and get something good to eat.

Love this backyard-like brunch spot. Came here as a group of 3 on a Monday and there was no wait time. Parking is either neighborhood or valet ($10 fee). Waitress (forgot her name) was funny and seemed to enjoy her job. We got almost 4 bottles for mimosas as we were celebrating a graduation and ordered some appetizers to share. Only con for me was the parking (as much of LA is) and the random leaves that would keep falling all over our food. Besides that, food was good & definitely shareable, drinks were on the spot (strong!). Would come again to try other things on their menu!

Service and the food was awesome. Hope was our server and she was great! This was our first time here. We will definitely be back. Restaurant was really clean. I ordered the baby back ribs and they were delicious. They came with mashed potatoes and corn. Plenty of ribs here will go away hungry. Wife got short rib's. They were really good. Son ordered the chicken piccata he loved it. Cool vibe they have. Outside patio has a cool pond scad outside bar.

It was my first time to come to this place and i was amazed of the friendly staff members and especially the food, so yummy.

Came here for a late lunch with friends. Although we made a reservation, they made us wait 20 min for our table, which was frustrating. The ambiance is very cool. You can sit inside (which gives house vibes), outside on the patio, or in a bar area. The food was delicious, but the homemade lemonade was just okay. There's valet parking, but you can also look for street parking around the neighboring block. I had the fish tacos, which tasted great with the mango relish.

Loving their healthy scramble which is protein packed with healthy fats (add some avocado) and nice veggie carbs. It's delicious! I usually get mine with an over easy egg instead of scramble. Coffee is nice, they are consistently filling up your cup. Cute spot, I'd recommend sitting outdoors for some nice light and sunshine. Friendly service from the host/hostess to the waitress. Already have come back a few times. Parking isn't great as that comes with the neighborhood. Def will come back for another bite.

I came here for a work lunch around noon - we had reservations so as soon as our whole party arrived, we were seated immediately! The restaurant was super cute and I loved how it was decorated. We sat in the outdoor patio area and there was a beautiful fountain and even koi fish! We started with the ceviche and calamari. I had never had ceviche before but I certainly want more all the time now. It was SOO refreshing for the palette, especially to have on a warm day. And, of course, calamari is always a fan favorite of mine as well. I couldn't decide between getting the pancakes or the breakfast quesadillas so I got both! The breakfast quesadillas were soooo filling, I even had leftovers! That by itself was a very hearty meal for me. The pancakes were wonderfullllll - so fluffy and yet still light. There were so many other menu items I wanted try so I'll certainly have to be back Parking was easy and pain free since they had valet and the bill for 4 people was a bit over $170 plus tip. Definitely a great place for a lunch with colleagues!

Home is one of the few restaurants in LA that I have been to repeatedly with different friends and my boyfriend. The patio is such a beautiful space to enjoy quality time and delicious food. The prices are very reasonable for the ambiance, which is probably one of the main reasons I've returned so many times. I appreciate the variety that the menu offers, without being overwhelming. The portions aren't massive, which is fine considering the fair price point. My friend and I went to celebrate our birthdays, and our server kindly send us complimentary gluten free mini fudge cakes, it was such a sweet touch! Parking is difficult which is to be expected in Los Feliz. The wait seems to be worse for brunch than dinner, but even then I don't think the wait wasn't too horrific.

So after our negative experience here a few years ago, we decided to give them a try once more. Though our service was definitely better than last time, there was a big miss. We ordered 2 entrees and 1 appetizer. Easy enough order right? When our food came out, we only received our entrees with no appetizer in sight. Given our experience here last time, where we ordered 3 items and were only served 2, this time, I decided to make sure by asking the server if our appetizer was coming. He indeed said it was, but it took a good 10 minutes after our entrees were served that we finally received our appetizer. When it comes to flavor, I won't speak about the appetizer or my wife's food, because I did not order those, but I will speak about my Fried Chicken "burger." The fried chicken was decent and the brioche bun were great. My problem was I did not expect the "Asian" flavorings they paired with the sandwich. It had a Vietnamese "bahn mi" feel to it (especially because of the cilantro), which was not what I'm looking for when I order a "chicken sandwich" from an American restaurant. All in all, even though our experience was a lot better than last time, I was very much put off by the 4% surcharge that we were surprised with when it came time to pay the bill. NO, 4% IS NOT MUCH, but it's about the principle of the matter. THESE SURCHARGES ARE ABSOLUTE B.S. and BUSINESSES NEED TO START RAISING THEIR PRICES ON THE MENUS INSTEAD OF HITTING UNSUSPECTING CUSTOMERS AT THE END OF THE MEAL. OH wow, I almost forgot. Dining in a makeshift treehouse sounds fun and all, but Wow the leaves from the trees and tiny flies swarming around us and our meal was very unpleasant. I had a dirty tree leaf land in my $15 cocktail goddamn it. THE FLIES WERE TERRIBLY ANNOYING. This will be our Last time dining here for all the reasons above.

This place is a gem. Super casual, outdoor and indoor sitting. They now have valet parking available, which I totally recommend because street parking around the area is just impossible. It's just a bit confusing that you have to check in at the other door and then walk back to the open entrance where valet is at. I mean, it's literally 15steps but my short attention span was triggered lol. Portions are big and well put together. The food is tasty and authentic flavors. The service is good however our server took a minute before coming to greet us. She also got my sauce incorrectly in the chilaquiles but hey! It was busy and honestly I did enjoy my plate regardless of. This is a great spot if you're planning to visit the Griffith Observatory. Makes it the perfect place before or after.

The food was amazing, the service was great and the ambiance was fun! We went here for the first time to grab lunch and it was fabulous. Can't wait to go back and try breakfast and will definitely go back for lunch. Unfortunately I didn't catch our waitresses name but she had a glitter barrette and cute hair style. All the staff were so friendly from the hostess to the servers and bussers. Keep in mind we went here after stopping by an Italian deli who didn't care to take care of us as patrons. But at HOME you really feel like home. Kudos to the management, HR and whole team! The food was so fresh and yummy. I had the grilled chicken avocado sandwich and it was delicious and moist. I would recommend and definitely have again. My husband had the club and he said it was good but the sourdough was on the dry side. Next time we will ask for a different bread with it because we both love pun sandwiches. I am planning on going back to try their breakfast as well. Whether you sit inside or out it's such an eclectic place and experience. I also want to notate that I appreciate the cleanliness of the bathroom. We did have to valet to park and that's $10 but I know the whole area it is hard to find parking. Thank you for a great experience and see you soon! P.S. I just realized that they are also open for dinner so I'll also go back for cocktails and more food.

Love love loved this place!! Gorgeous outdoor seating with a unique and cool atmosphere! The servers were all really wonderful, and seemed to really enjoy their jobs. The food tasted so fresh! You can really tell that they use high quality ingredients. This place is definitely worth the price. I want to go back for a date! Seems like a great spot to take someone for chill, low pressure vibes.

We had a nice time here for lunch on a sunny Wednesday afternoon. The options were great for meat eaters and vegetarian folks. I really recommend the mocktails because they were so tasty! The lunch items we had were all great and nicely portioned. I really appreciated that our server offered options of food for the baby we had with us as well. I would gladly come back and enjoy a nice day outside on the patio again here.

Beautiful little spot! My first time here and I loved the option of either outdoor or indoor seating. I ordered the Chilaquiles with chicken and they were so delicious!! I absolutely loved it here. Service was also great! The only downside and reason for my 4 stars is the parking. Only street parking around. I came at 9:50am and was able to find some in the neighborhood not too bad though. Will definitely be coming back!

They don't have a parking lot but you can park in the neighborhood or they have a valet. Both the inside and patio area really nice to eat, we ate outside and enjoyed that it was also dog friendly to, creates a friendly environment. They did mess up on my friends order but they did take it off our bill and gave us a free dessert. But I had gotten a CINNAMON HOT LATTE, which was delicious. To eat I had HUEVOS BENEDICTOS w/ CHORIZO and a side of POTATO WEDGES, it was super delicious will definitely order again and it was very balanced. For the free dessert I had gotten the CREME BRÛLÉE as our waiter gave her assistance cause it's really quick to make and super light, which it was with the fresh berries. Other tables tables next to us even ordered it cause it looked so good.

This restaurant is one of my favorite places to come and bring friends and family who are visiting from out of town; I've been coming here for over 8 years now and it never disappoints. Their food is amazing and their staff is always super friendly and accommodating. I love the ambiance and how it makes you feel like you're at home, love the outdoor seating.

Stopped in here for dinner before a show at the Greek. Not my first time here, but my first time in 14 or so years, and it didn't disappoint. Good vibes. Food was great; had a pink paloma as a pre-dinner cocktail, which was perfect for my mood. the tuna tartare salad was excellent - I'd say it was heavy on the greens, except they were super fresh and the tuna itself was among the best I've had. i'm really motivated to write this review, though, because our server (Hope) was so sweet and awesome and attentive. We all loved her. Food/server aside: to avoid street parking, we valeted. It was a bit of a pain to pay, because they seem to only accept venmo and zelle and the parking folks are not set up as an actual business, which seems odd to me. especially since i don't have my bank account linked, so had to pay an additional fee to use my card via venmo. Not sure what people do if they don't have either app. Also, the qr code to scan was at the bottom of the sign, which was weirdly inconvenient and it took me like five attempts before i bent low enough to scan it. ALSO, the price was listed as $10 but dude told me $11, and we were there for about 50 minutes. a dollar isn't a huge deal, of course, but i did get the vibe he was either adding a gratuity or that he flex prices parking. It's also worth noting the strong urine smell not only in the restroom near the kitchen, but surrounding it. I'm glad i didn't use it before dining, because it might have put me off otherwise, given it's directly adjacent to the kitchen. All in all, i enjoyed my dinner at Home; just be aware of the parking situation and maybe use a different restroom than the one to the left of the patio by the kitchen. And do hope that sweet Hope is your server!

The place has a very cool vibe. We sat at the bar and had our lunch there. They were playing some old school music, which is just chefs kiss btw. None of that new modern day crap of a music now a days. They were playing Godfather on the screen and the bartender was a pretty cool guy to talk to while eating. The food was pretty good here. Mine was particularly good as I got the short rib pot pie, which was pretty darn tasty. The meat was cooked perfectly well seasoned and very tender with a good mix of veggies and mashed potatoes. I also ordered our trio some southwest eggrolls they were decent but I did wish that it was stuffed a little more.

Came in on a Sunday and the wait wasn't too bad 30 min, seated outside which is beautiful with the trees and wood, makes you feel like you're really at home in your porch. The food was brought out promptly. My favorite was the ceviche, so fresh. My friend had the chicken and waffles, I swear she got a whole chicken. The hot coffee was always flowing, which is extremely important when I'm having brunch.

This review is for the bar that's attache to Home. Went with 2 friends and spent a little over $100 with drinks and food! They have a Happy Hour that isn't available in the other part of the restaurant and we were very pleased with the options since we could choose Happy Hour or regular food from the restaurant. The truffle fries were perfect and the tacos for Taco Tuesday really hit the spot. Skip the Kimchi/fish mix - none of us enjoyed it and I really wanted to! We placed our own food orders at the bar and they were delivered to us, but more drinks also had to be placed at the bar. Super friendly bartenders and it seemed like a mellow place to go for a drink and dinner. Would happily go back when I'm in that part of town again.

Went to Home to celebrate a friend who was heading off to NYC for some exciting endeavors. Located in the heart of Los Feliz, you have get lucky with parking around this busy spot, but it's a good spot. Starting with ambiance, they have a fantastic place with ample indoor and outdoor seating depending on your preference. We were a big party which is always a challenge, and they did a great job in hosting, as well as ensuring our drinks and food came out in reasonable time. Their cocktails were bomb, and had some creative combinations; for example, berry and bourbon are not usual pairings but it was great. Their food was fine too, I had a chicken dish which was a bit rubbery but good overall, and my fiancée found the salmon to be very tasty and tender all for a reasonable price all things considered. Good spot, and I would come back if I was in the area!

Be aware of a 4% service charge. We parked on the street (read the signs) but valet is available if desired. We came for brunch on a rainy day. The outside dining area was unavailable but there was available seating indoors after a short wait. We shared the breakfast fried chicken sandwich (with home fries) and French toast with berries. There was two pieces of fried chicken "patties" so it slid a bit around the egg. Still good but we ended up cutting and eating with a knife and fork. The French toast was refreshing with the bananas and berries. The syrup added a nice sweetness to the warm toast. Good ambience. Music wasn't too loud. Many other parties around us having a good time with breakfast and catching up amongst friends in a cozy dining area that's less restaurant and more homely feel.

Loveeee love love the unique outdoor patio and the inside with picture frames. They do a lot to make it homey and retain character. The blackened ahi tuna salad is my go to. Seasoning is a nice balance, it's got a very generous serving tuna and the salad is always tossed just right. My husband loves the burrito here. Crab Benedict is also delicious. It looks like there's a lot of people outside waiting but There's never a super long wait and the food of course is delicious. If you ask the attendant and the wait is more than 15 min you can have a brunch drink at the guesthouse and they'll call you when a seat is ready at home.

Home restaurant does definitely remind you of home . The atmosphere is very energetic and happy . The service was great , our server was very attentive and everyone made sure our coffee cup and water would stay refilled. We tried the chorizo bowl and the French toast . I def recommend the French toast it was so yummy and practically melts in your mouth . The chorizo bowl is very flavorful as well but I will say it's a little spicy incase spices aren't your thing . They have beautiful outside seating which was great to experience and enjoy the 80 degree weather that LA gives in December. We will definitely come back to enjoy some more food :)

First time here, super impressed and pleased. We found street parking 1.5 blocks away (only valet parking on site), put our names in for only a 15- minute wait. Indoor and outdoor seating, clean bathrooms, cool bar in the courtyard. I was glad we got booth seating in the courtyard with heat lamps to make for a cozy experience despite the chilly foggy day. I love the old overhanging trees in the courtyard that provide shade and earthy ambience. The restaurant has many levels and a cool layout, might be challenging for people who have difficulty navigating stairs/steps because there are multiple 1-2 step downs as well as a full flight to the second level. Our server Erick was friendly, attentive, professional. Ordered the lemonade, an Apple Pie Sour (tasty! Can't go wrong with Tullamore Dew) and an Old Fashioned, followed by a Home Mule--of the 3 cocktails, the Apple Pie Sour was by far the tastiest. The food menu actually has at least 3 things we each wanted to try, so we'll be back! We then ordered the Fish and Chips which comes with a garlic dip and a mango based dip; the crispy chicken sandwich with fries; and a BLTA on sourdough with side house salad and balsamic vinaigrette. The bacon in my BLTA was the crispest best darn bacon ever. A nice touch that the dressing came on the side without asking. And an even nicer tough hat nobody started clearing out plates until we were all through. Erick refilled our water at least 3 times. Clearly a popular restaurant with a line of people waiting when we arrived, and yet only 15 min wait for Sat brunch. Something's going right here. In the heart of Los Feliz, so a great place to eat when you have an LA day planned anyway.

How have I lived in neighboring Silver Lake and haven't been here? Or, to this location. I came on a rare LA rainy day so the outside front patio was closed. I sat on the covered and warm side patio. I love how they have different options for seating and the place is cosy. I came for lunch and had the pot pie. The pie was so good. I loved the prime rib in it and the crust. So good!! The pie came with a side of arugula salad and it was such a perfect and comforting meal. For drinks I had Pink Paloma which was crisp and refreshing. I also had the Berry drink, again another delicious drink. For dessert, I had the carrot cake which was good. The slice was perfect for sharing. I enjoyed the service. Everyone was so pleasant and I felt very welcomed during my visit here.

Ambiance was delightful and serene! Music playing in the background, koi pound, and trees hovering over us made our brunch much more memorable. Service was quite exceptional throughout our visit. Food: Chicken Soup was homemade with enough noddles, chicken and veggies to fill you up, delicious! Omelette was delicious according to my friend. Breakfast burrito was good according to my friend. Chicken and Waffles was good due to the juicy and crunchy chicken...the waffles didn't do it for me, unfortunately. The flavor of the waffles were mediocre as well as the texture. Alcoholic drinky's were on point! And their coffee was great!

My friends and I had brunch at Home Restaurant last weekend and we had a good time! I made a reservation on OpenTable a few weeks in advance, which was a good call because the restaurant was very busy on Sunday morning. I can imagine how long the wait would've been if I didn't make a reservation. We managed to find a parking spot in the neighboring street and walked a short block to the restaurant. The restaurant offers valet parking, but there are limited spots. The restaurant's casual, cozy, and cute, making it a good place to bring family & friends to catch-up. The decor's eclectic, vintage, and definitely my vibe. The staff was friendly and accommodated to our request for indoor seating. I'd definitely return to Home Restaurant just for the environment alone. My friends and I ordered different things, so I'll only review what I tried. For my drink, I chose the Iced Cold Brew Coffee, which comes with milk and sugar on side upon request. The coffee was quite bitter and strong, but not watery. Added a bit of milk and sugar, and this coffee satisfied my caffeine fix. For my meal, I chose the Chilaquiles with green sauce. It was visually appealing and the ingredients were hot and fresh, but everything tasted overwhelmingly peppery; I don't think I'd get it again. Also, the Chilaquiles came in a big plate, so I recommend sharing or packing the leftovers, which was what I did. If I could give a 4.5-star rating, then I would. Aside from the semi-disappointing Chilaquiles, I did enjoy the Iced Cold Brew Coffee and we all had a good time brunching at Home Restaurant, so I'll bump it to 5 stars. I'd like to return for dinner next time!

Great place! The service is excellent. Went for brunch, there were a lot of people and I expected to wait a long time for a table. Surprisingly the line moved fast. Waitress was nice, courteous and brought our food fast. The food was delicious. Great ambiance highly recommended.

Came here for a friend's birthday. Ambiance was gorgeous! And it was nice we were able to sit inside the bar in a little couch area while we waited for our table. The bday girl had hoped to sit under the trees but we ended up on the further side by the bar. Still pretty imo. The waiter was extremely kind and fun. We joked that he looked like Ted Bundy and he was a good sport about it the food was definitely not memorable. The waffle left much to be desired and the chicken was dry and super bready. Latte was yummy and I liked the design on it. Also tip is already included on the bill, which was ok as our waiter was great and I would've gone for 20%+ regardless. But they also included an "LA healthy fee"... wth is that? Overall it was fun, but I wouldn't return unless I wasn't paying (any food is good food when it's free).

Party of 7 on a nice Saturday afternoon. My family was in the mood for something fresh, healthy and tasty near the Griffith Park hiking trails. We came in around 3 and were seated in 10 mins after valeting the car for $10. No real parking outside of street parking. They have a nice kids menu with the usual items: Mac and cheese, cheeseburger, grill cheese, and spaghetti with marinara sauce. We all really enjoyed our food (see pictures) except for 1 plate which was the chicken and waffle. We all had high hopes for it. Fortunately they tried to remedy the meal and it helped:). Sadly this fell short of our satisfaction. The chicken was cooked perfectly with the tastiest seasonings. The waffle on the other hand was soggy and felt undercooked. We asked for another waffle but it seems it's just the way their batter was made. I would suggest to have the waffle more crunchy to avoid the sogginess. Breakfast menu was available Overall I would go back to this cute spot for any casual occasion.

As with many of the longstanding brunch / restaurant mainstays of Los Feliz, Home has thrived by providing slightly above average food, slightly elevated prices, and an excellent ambiance you feel proud to bring your friends and co-workers to. The service is good, but not exceptional. Like its neighbor Alcove up Hillhurst, Home carries great brunch options and has great seating options. Unlike its smaller rival, however, Home carries a larger menu and expanded lunch and dinner options. The brunch is where it's at though. I recommend highly their famous chicken and waffles, burgers, and fish and chips. They have an excellent happy hour menu as well. Most of all, though, you go to Home for the ambiance. Sit outside. Try to find a seat near the fountain. Take in the walkers-by. Listen to the happy customers one table over. Home is always busy, and for good reason - the team has somehow managed to capture the perfect vibe of laid-back yet classy, comfort food yet upscale. Check them out, and bring a friend or date. We ate here for the first time and it was super enjoyable. The service was excellent and food was fantastic as well. We came in for a late breakfast and the portion sizes are very generous. Word of caution... the green chile with the burrito is HOT! It was so hot my husband quit eating it and he likes spicy food so it was definitely on the hotter side. The French toast is a winner and I would highly recommend. The atmosphere is great and I'm looking forward to going back for dinner!

Wow!!! The vibe literally feels like you're in your best friend's backyard sharing a meal. We had the fries and Brussels sprouts as an appetizer and the linguini and steak for our main. Everything was delicious!!! My favorite was the Brussels sprouts. Our waitress was so kind and made great recommendations. It looks like it gets busy around 6pm. We got there around 530pm and were able to pick a spot we liked. Looking forward to coming back to try out their place next door!
