Home Team BBQ is a very spacious family friendly restaurant offering both indoor and outdoor seating. They have multiple big screen TV’s and large picnic tables. Their menu features classic smoked meats and a great variety of drinks. I’m visiting from San Diego, and I can easily say I’ve never had BBQ this good! And I’ve tried a lot of BBQ from many places! Everything was cooked to perfection and packed with delicious flavors! I tried a variety of meats during my visit. I tried the pulled pork, brisket, ribs, wings, turkey salad, brisket chili, mac & cheese, Cole slaw, and had an old fashioned. This is what I thought of them: Mac & Cheese 9/10 Brisket Chili 8.5/10 Cole Slaw 7/10 Brisket 10/10 Pulled pork 10/10 Wings 8.5/10 Turkey Salad 9/10 Ribs 9/10 Old fashioned 8/10 I highly recommend trying out Home Team BBQ if you’re looking for quality meats at a good price! You will not be disappointed! Satisfaction guaranteed!

12/10! Absolutely delicious! Every bite was so well-seasoned and flavorful, we didn’t even need BBQ sauce. The meat was tender, smoky, and downright addictive. I recommend the smoked chicken wings (not pictured, too good to let get cold) As you can see in the last photo—we didn’t leave a single bite behind!

I have yet to go to a Home Team BBQ that didn't nail it! This is the 3rd location I have been to and it lives up to the high standard. Came in for a weekday lunch with my daughter and we were quickly seated, our server was friendly and very helpful (always have had a good experience at home teams with service). Typical sports "pub" atmosphere with trendy, classic decor. Indoor and outdoor seating, with plenty of TVs. Listen, the wings are always fantastic and the Alabama white sauce is probably my favorite that I have had. They also have a spicy red, sweet red, a mustard based, and a vinegar based sauce - all of them pair perfectly with the variety of BBQ provided. I decided to go with the brisket grilled cheese special and it was the perfect blend of tender beef with gooey melted cheese on fresh sourdough. Paired with, what I would argue, the best tots in South Carolina and a delicious Harissa seasoned mayo - this meal delicious level was equivalent to the crack of a bat hitting a home run in the bottom of the 9th. Medium size list of local brews on draft, tall boys, and some cocktail specials round out the menu.

My wife had the sliders and I had the 2 meat platter. The smoked wings with the Alabama White Sauce was new to me. Nice! The service was awesome!

I purchased a ToGo meal from the Mount Pleasant location. I have eaten here multiple times, and I always get the same thing. A half rack of ribs and two sides. This particular time I ordered a half rack with Mac and Cheese and the Tomato and Cucumber Salad. Usually, the ribs are pretty good, which is why I have ordered from here multiple times before. The ribs are typically a good size, in terms of meat, and pretty tender. I’m not quite sure what happened this time with the quality of the food. The ribs were absolutely horrible. They were smaller than the usual size and very dry and overcooked. I’m not sure if it’s because it was later in the evening, and it was the last of the ribs. For the price of $25 I would at least expect for the ribs to not be burnt and tough to chew. It was very disappointing. ——————————Update————————- (9/09/25) I want to thank Becca and the Home Team BBQ team. They responded to my review in a very timely and professional matter. They heard my concerns about the ribs and made sure to rectify the situation. This is the service that I’ve always received from them, and I truly appreciate the integrity and professionalism of the team. Thank you for making my experience at your establishment pleasant, as it always is. I look forward to returning to you guys for my BBQ needs!👍

Google
I thought this place was great. I've been to other smoke BBQ places and this place the meat is juicy, not dry. The meat is flavorful and not overly salty. The service was fast and friendly. There were a lot of people in the house and plenty of parking spots. You can choose to sit inside or out. We sat inside in the air conditioning, it was too hot for me to sit outside. We ordered the pull pork sandwich, brisket sandwich, French dip, and kids pull pork. All the flavors were great. My daughter finished her mini slider, never seen her finish burger like that before. I finished my brisket, I ordered chili with it and I even put the chili in my sandwich because it was a touch too spicy for me but was a great addition to my burger. All the foods were great and wish I could visit again!! Definitely recommend visiting here for a meal. I was very full and didn't expect myself to finish this burger, but I did.

Google
The food was excellent. The service was great too. We sat outside because it was so beautiful for Christmas Eve. Kind of a long wait and the benches were a little dirty but surely would go back. .

Jaspre S.

Google
Not my favorite BBQ in the world especially for the price. For upwards of $26 for the two meat combo platter sub brisket, the pulled pork and brisket didn’t stand up to other cheaper spots I’ve had, and the portion sizes didn’t make up for the price either. The sides of mac and cheese and collard greens were delicious and the service was kind, but overall the price was excessive for the quality.

Yelp
Home Team Barbecue was such a fun place to go for lunch! The food was amazing and the service top notch! Will be back in my next visit to Charleston!

Yelp
This is a great location for potential customers on the north end of Mount Pleasant. They have a nice sized dining area inside, as well as a large outdoor area with picnic tables and tvs. I went with my parentals as an impromptu outing since they live nearby and the other locations have been great. The first thing I noticed upon arrival was an obvious wait, but people did not seem too stressed or anxious. Many had drinks and kids were running around in the "yard" to burn up some extra energy. The hostess actually anticipated a longer wait than needed, so that was a nice surprise. This would be an awesome place to come for a game. Everyone could have a direct view of the large screen TVs while they eat, drink, and socialize. The vibe is upbeat with some music playing inside and out, too. While we waited for a table inside, we went to the bar and ordered drinks. The set-up is similiar to what I have experienced at their other places. Laid back and friendly. Our server was phenomenal. Wish I could remember his name, because he was really that good. He was very attentive and helpful. They are known for their BBQ, but they do have other items as well. As far as the BBQ, you can get different styles to meet your preference, too. There is ample on-site parking in the dirt/gravel areas around the establishment, which is an added bonus. If you find yourself on that side of town, definitely stop in!

Yelp
I'm pescatarian, so I'm not a barbeque person and can't comment on that. Home Team doesn't sell seafood, so my review will be based on the sides and apps that we shared. If you do not eat meat, they do have a couple of salad options and sides- and you will find enough to eat. I wound up at Home Team BBQ on a Sunday afternoon to celebrate a friend's birthday. She was the birthday girl, so it was her choice, and we ended up at two large tables outside. I recommend being seated outside here because inside is LOUD and the outdoor area is nice. You can watch one of the multiple NFL games on many TVs. I had the macaroni and cheese side, along with the fried mac and cheese, some tots, chips, and the Game Changer drink. If you order a Game Changer, do eat something and and don't plan to drink anything else- or have a driver. For only $15, it is delicious and probably the most economical way to get drunk in North Mount Pleasant. That liquor will sneak up on you. Our service was quick, as the server takes orders on a mobile device that sends them directly to the kitchen. He kept everyone's water glasses or wine glasses full, even with 20ish people. The restaurant was also fine with us bringing in a cake for the birthday girl. The only downside to Home Team is that the outdoor area is a little dirty/dusty, so dress accordingly. The common area isn't paved or cement. My purse fell onto the ground and was covered in dirt, so if you have a purse hanger, bring it- or just don't bring a purse. I do recommend Home Team BBQ as a great spot to dine out with a group- and even though this is far from me, I'd certainly come back here to celebrate a birthday.

Yelp
Mostly everything went great ! I would say the food is ALWAYS good! The drinks are always good!! The problem is that the tables are all so squeezed together you can't enjoy a meal or conversation with your table without being bumped or it's too loud to hear. Don't get me wrong, we have been going to home team barbecue ever since they originally opened on Sullivans Island. It was the place my aunt love to take everybody. So we were very excited to have a home team barbecue up our way. We've been there several times, but we would definitely go there more if the tables were a little spread out. I'm talking about the tables smack in the center in front of the bar. The food is amazing and we will continue to go there, just not as much as if we want a quieter dinner. The outside area is fantastic, but it's too dang hot to sit outside right now. We will definitely do that during the fall and the winter months.

Mark W.

Yelp
Went to Home Team today for the first time in about three months. Gretchen was our bartender. Amazing service. She's was so nice and professional. Squeaky was also roaming around and checked on us often. Can't say enough positive things about these two. They've always been attentive and friendly. I asked this other guy "John" for some Alabama white sauce and he just gave me this look, didn't say a word and walked away. About 5 mins later he came back and placed the sauce in front of me. He again didn't say a thing to me. I said thanks and he just walked away. I hate to sound like a Karen, but if I ever go back and he's there, I'll turn around and leave. Terrible attitude

Yelp
. What a great place for an afternoon, a barbecue, drinks, beer, and great company. Food is outstanding, the drink of the day was game changer, and if one had to pick, I would do the pork barbecue over the brisket. Outstanding all the way around.
google avatar

Scott B.

Yelp
I see them getting an average of 4 but they are probably closer to a 5. I know, they are crazy busy and you've got to wait but we founds two bar stools quickly, the brisket chili nachos were great, my wife got signature slushee drink (a little overpriced in my opinion) but she enjoyed it and their beer selection is good enough for sure.
google avatar

Melanie G.

Yelp
There is no better place in town to watch a football game! They also have the best wings in town!
google avatar

Anne G.

Yelp
I'm embarrassed to admit how much we eat at Home Team, but their food is addicting. Plus, it's the best place to watch the games. They have an awesome outdoor area that perfect to watch football and let your little ones run around. You can't go wrong with their food, but we especially love their pulled pork, chicken wings, collards and Mac and cheese. They have a couple locations, but the 17 is the one we go to a lot. The Sullivan's location is great if you're headed out to the beach. And the owners are super nice.

Salum S.

Yelp
Always amazing food. Today amazing waitress. Shoutout Milya (i think that was her name) She was so sweet and helpful.

Yelp
Fantastic!!! First time at this location (regulars at Sullivan's), and I am so thrilled we stopped in tonight! Not one thing disappointed! However you look at it, this place has its vibe on point. From the outside patio (with tabletop heaters!), to the insanely quick, accurate, and attentive service ( ask for David!), to the amazing food (best brisket in Chas, no joke!), you are in for a treat. Tonight, we ordered a tapas style early dinner of one brisket taco, one brisket slider, and a half rack of fried ribs ("Just the Bones"). Each one had its own character, and I would eat them all again. Hands down favorite was the fried ribs! They are coated in an Alabama white sauce and served with a side of "Death Relish". The meat is so tender and crispy at the same time. The white sauce is good, but hold your hats on for this Death Relish. Thankfully, they sell it (pint or quart). I'm taking some home to use on my own pulled pork. Sweet, heat, just the right balance to make the meat sing. Service was perfect. David greeted us quickly, listened to what we wanted, and had a great o really attitude. We had water poured before we had even thought about what to drink, which is a very nice touch. They also leave a small bottle to refill your water glass. I love that because it keeps the server focused on the meal. The overall experience was fantastic, and we can not wait to come back again soon. PS would love to see the parking lot finished. Probably not an issue for trucks or Jeeps but was a bit challenging for the Audi. Lots of deep potholes.

Yelp
We ca.e to check out HT since we did read about some issues with families with kids being out of control. Good for then but they did have a sign addressing this and i believe the outside was further developed than when it first opened. Anyway, we did not eat but will update the review when we do. I didn't take pictures of the inside but the noise level was loud - muxh louder than we prefer. The outside is where we will go with our doggo - great set up! Cant speak about service either since we didn't sit down.

Yelp
Always such good food. Portions aren't very big tho. Cool vibe inside and out! Bar seems fun with games on and good service.
google avatar

Yelp
Outstanding experience at Home Team today. This was our first idiot to the Mount Pleasant location and it did not disappoint! The outside area is so spacious with lots of tables. The service was incredible and they got our food and drinks out to us efficiently without us feeling rushed. We started with wings and the burnt end French toast. As usual, the wings were absolutely delicious and the French toast was out of this world. I had the carnitas taco and the cheeseburger taco special. The rest of the table enjoyed a variety from salads to brisket to chicken and everyone was pleased. From our experience, the only improvement would be adding more fans. They only have a couple now and I think adding a few more would reduce the sweltering heat of summer. Overall though, excellent experience and we will definitely return!

Terry G.

Yelp
Good food and service. Really enjoyed the smoked chicken tacos, fried macaroni & cheese was amazing.

Mike A.

Yelp
We waited for over 45 minutes when we were told 30 minutes, so we decided to order food to go. When it arrived we still had full drinks. We decided to eat some of the food we had ordered. We had two small children with us that were very hungry. You then kicked us out of the bar area (said we couldn't eat at the table that obviously was not being serviced (except by the bartender)and told us we must go outside to eat. We then sat at a table outside and we were kicked out of that table. You really need to set up a bar area outside so your patrons can enjoy drinks & food without overwhelming your bar staff inside the restaurant. Not to mention that you had 8 to 12 empty bar tables inside that could've easily been utilized by bar patrons to order food through the bar. My wife and I were in the restaurant business for 30 years (specifically BBQ) You really need to revamp the way you do business within your establishment so that you can maximize your profitability! This was our third visit to Hometeam and it has been a recurring issue. You need to utilize every tabletop in the bar area. ESPECIALLY ON GAME DAY! And don't make being understaffed a reason not to seat the bar-top tables. Most people don't mind stepping up to the bar to retrieve their food and drinks from the bar that's four feet away. Especially on Game Day! We are tipping the bartenders for their service regardless. If they can manage the bar and the server-less tables let them do so. The food we ordered was very good. 5 stars Bartender service. 5 stars. Hostess who said we couldn't sit at an unserviced table ZERO stars for being rude and having failed to ask if we were waiting for a table and for not letting the bartender continue to serve us. When you tell me you don't have enough staff to service the empty tables, let the motivated bartenders take care of them. In other words DON'T BE STUPID, WORK HARD AND MAKE MONEY!
google avatar

Mike D.

Yelp
The service (Dean was our server) was outstanding! The Brisket platters were very good as were the sides (coleslaw & baked beans, coleslaw and Mac n Cheese). We were amazed at how quickly the orders came to the table and Dean's attentiveness was on point. Definitely going back next time we are in Mt. Pleasant
google avatar

Christian C.

Yelp
Decent brisket, but if you're looking for good BBQ head to Lewis's a block over. Wish I could've gotten more of the pickled sides. The nachos were really good.
google avatar

Sarkis O.

Yelp
Well, moved to the neighborhood about 2 weeks ago. I didn't even know this place was next door. I was blown away with the meats, the ambiance and verity of items and drinks. I enjoyed every bite and I will be back on a weekly basis. By the way I saw a review here with 3 stars from someone who didn't even eat at the place? What kind of review is that? Get back in there and try the food!
google avatar

Matthew M.

Yelp
Hell yeah! Found an amazing southern BBQ place that puts others to shame. I have been wanting to try Home Team since we moved here a month ago. We ordered the bbq nachos with brisket and the 1/2 chicken only white meat and were blown away! The rub on the chicken, the delicious sauce and the nachos all around were absolutely amazing! I had the game changer for a drink and of course my wife went with a spicy drink which she enjoyed, twice. Sitting at the bar gave great energy and the service was outstanding, the bartender went above and beyond given the entire bar was full. We will definitely be back they have a huge outside patio where kids can play and we need to sample some more of the fantastic menu! #hometeam
google avatar

Lisa Y.

Yelp
Love their green salad with sliced brisket and lemon vinaigrette. Absolutely delicious. You gotta get the tots with the side of spicy mayo. Not a fan of the baked beans or the vinegary fried ribs.
google avatar

Sarah-Bradley D.

Yelp
Always love a trip to Home Team. We typically go to the downtown location but decided to give MTP a try today. The space has much more outdoor seating as well as multiple tables outside for waiting if you want to snag a drink at the bar while you wait. The manager was very present and helpful during our visit. We brought our dog and multiple staff checked in on him to ensure he had water and treats - such a thoughtful service. For our meal we did the wings and my favorite home team salad. My husband gave the turkey rachel special a try and this has to go on the permanent menu! I don't even like turkey Rachel's but tried to steal one of his halves because it was so good. Great experience as always and the perfect place to spend your game day with just your significant other or a large group.
google avatar

Prisilla G.

Yelp
The food flavor was good. Service was fair and atmosphere was okay. Enjoyed the happy hour vibe.

Ted C.

Yelp
No complaints with the food. Excellent as always. Home team is passing along the fees credit card providers. I FULLY support this move. Why should businesses eat these ridiculous fees. Whenever I am aware that businesses have this policy I pay in cash. I did this today at HT. Imagine my surprise when my change is returned without any coins. My waitress told me HT doesn't deal in coins so they retain any excess. It was only 50 cents but someone with no relationship to me is deciding how I spend my money? What is wrong with HT management? HT doesn't like paying someone for processing payment, but they apparently have no problem taking mine to facilitate their payment method. Would they be ok if I short changed them?

Chelsa P.

Yelp
Bomb.com don't skip this spot on your way to charleston. Daniel was our server and recommended the BEST nachos I've ever had. Cozy, fun, and delicious drinks. Can't ask for a better spot!
google avatar

Dana Z.

Yelp
I know HT is really popular and my review isn't going to be exactly like changing for them, but I didn't find Home Team to be anything remarkable, really. Especially with such stiff bbq competition in the Charleston area. I think this is good "safe" bbq. Like you can bring a group of people or your family and there is something for everyone. The best thing I ate was the mac and cheese. I also really liked the "death relish" even though I thought it was more sweet than spicy. But my pulled pork was average at best. The ribs were ok. I'm a sauce lover and even found the sauces to be underwhelming and there were 6 or 7 of them.
google avatar

Susan M.

Yelp
The BEST BBQ in MT Pleasant! We had been to the Charleston Home Team and it had a great bar-coastal feel so we decided to try the MTP location and it's even better. Family-oriented and lots of picnic tables outside with kids and pups! Beautiful patio area! Daniel was our server and he was the bomb! Made us feel at home, attentive, knowledgeable and a great smile! Followed his suggestions and was not disappointed! There was three of us and we had the following: Fried wings- crispy, moist and meaty with Alabama white sauce. We shared the wings and they were HUGE and devoured. I like the Sweet Red sauce the best. Coleslaw- normal, needed a tad of salt. I'm picky. Collard greens- fantastic and cooked the ol' fashioned way The Game Changer frozen drink- on point! Carnitas Taco-pork was chunky, fried and crispy... loaded and filling. They give u 2 which is plenty. Mac-n-cheese- loaded with hard and creamy cheese... so gooood! Will be coming back!
google avatar

Scott L.

Yelp
After a few hours on the beach on Sullivans Island we went home, got ready for dinner and headed out for some South Carolina BBQ and came here after the recommendation of our Airbnb host. When we arrived we had a little bit of a wait so sampled their signature drink - The Game Changer - which was a citrusy concoction, very sweet, not heavy on the alcohol. Refreshing. Our waiter was Scott who was very relatable and professional. Give that man a raise! We shared the three meat platter with pork, smoked turkey and chopped brisket. And the sides were baked beans and potato salad. With an array of sauces at our table, as well as the "Alabama White Sauce" and the "Death Relish". The Sweet Red sauce was good, as was the Alabama White. The Death Relish was so hot it drowned out the flavor of the meat - so, not sure why anyone finds that enjoyable. THAT SAID - it was a very good meal, the meats were all well seasoned and tender. The baked beans kinda stole the show a little though, I ain't gonna lie. Potato Salad needed Something. Not terrible and not amazing. Overall a very good meal. Would certainly come back!
google avatar

Roy P.

Yelp
Best bbq that we had in our two week vacation in SC and Georgia! Tacos with pulled pork and crispy brisket were amazing! The two meat platter with chopped briskets and pulled pork featured superb bbq meats. The Mac-n-cheese was top notch too. Service was great.
google avatar

Glen K.

Yelp
Bert, Dave, Leslie, Jules and Don make HT the place to be. Always greet you with a smile and delicious drink and in my case a COLD BEER! Love you guys! The food is pretty amazing too specially, the cheeseburger! Great atmosphere.
google avatar

Suzanne H.

Yelp
Home Team is a good place to go when your not in a rush and looking for home cooking barbecue. There is usually a long wait to be seated but you can grab a drink and hang out in the outside area. A bit higher price for a meal depending what you get but you definitely leave full. They have some good specials like ribs and crackle if your lucky. Place is clean and pretty busy all the time. I wish the bar was a bit bigger but looking forward to listening to music here. Parking is pretty good and an indicator of packed the place is.

Laura M.

Yelp
The food is fab, but the bartenders at this location are sexist. There are like 14+ tvs and several times I've gently suggested we change 1 out of many screens to something else and I've been shut down. These were all on days/ nights without a major game on. Tonight I was called a "Kardashian" by the bartender when I asked if we could "maybe" change one channel. It's a crappy overtly "male" dominant vibe.
google avatar

Glenn C.

Yelp
Alabam white sauce is never to be slept on, but what you're gonna wanna do is have it with ribs - or probably anything else on the menu - and the Death Relish that's currently on the menu with the Fried Ribs: Only the Bones. A variety of peppers, splash of OJ and pineapple make this a perfect balance. If that doesn't sound good to you - I'm sorry friend , IT IS!!! Fantastic outdoor dining in Mt P. We also noticed that the back patio has tables that are spacious and not crammed together as is too often the Charleston way. Wonderful early dinner date night. Ps you're gonna wanna try Liability's Feral Garden Gnome Blonde Ale too, thank me later

Carrie T.

Yelp
I've eaten here 3/4 times. It is Not very good. Everything is greasier than EVER.... And I like Greasy. My husband's brisket was barely edible. Brought most of it home to wring it out. I had a burger there before and it was sooo bad. How is it that you are a bbq joint and can't master it? We have done better pulled pork and brisket AND Mac n cheese at home!!!!! Which we will do from now on! Only thing giving them any stars at all... are the bartenders! Man! They are great! Drinks always filled, easy to talk to. I will be back for drinks but for food.... DEF go elsewhere. No joke. Seriously wish we took a picture of the amount of grease. So disgusting. We showed our bartender how we could swish it around in a tray and scoop up grease with a spoon. This pic is after getting it home after being in cardboard lined with multiple napkins.

Breanna W.

Yelp
Home team BBQ is a great spot in Mount Pleasant for the locals to hangout. Lots of room for folks to sit and eat both inside and out with some standing tables outside as well. The food is good, but not the best BBQ Charleston has to offer but great place if you're looking for a nice hangout spot! We've made a few friends here as well, people tend to be super nice! I've personally had great experience with their service and all their staff as well!

Tom F.

Yelp
The food and service were great, however, don't expect to carry on a conversation. Bring ear plugs to stop the load music, it's impossible to carry on a conversation if you are inside . I suggest carry out!

John M.

Yelp
Ordered a brisket melt that was advertised as coming with pimento cheese on a King Hawaiian bun and got some sort of gristly meat that was faintly smoky with one piece of American cheese on dry marble rye bread for close to $20.00. A poor value and a poor sandwhich. I'd have sent it back if it was done in but I was 20 minutes away by the time I figured out that my dinner was going to suck. Maybe I should have gone to another location since the MP is the lowest rated of the chain but I feel like I checked the Home Team box and I won't return.
google avatar

Robert C.

Yelp
Great service wonderful customer service would recommend that anybody who loves great bbq go and enjoy the experience of a lifetime

Yelp
Home Team BBQ in Mount Pleasant is a great place to go for delicious and flavorful BBQ. I really like all of the different sauces and much more. The staff here provides excellent customer service. Good experience every time I have been here.

Yelp
Fried ribs with homemade hot sauce were exceptional!Very casual atmosphere. Lots of families.,

Yelp
Unless you enjoy loud raucous crowds do NOT go on Sat nite from 6-7 PM! Even this newer location is crazy busy busy busy with an hour wait- even at the bar!! but afterwards it thins out. Our server was delightful and the food is always consistently good. I had the carnitas taco which- though smaller-is second only to the one at 167 Raw.. the Hash and rice was perfect complement. Others in our party enjoyed the pulled pork and brisket sandwiches. The food delivery is incredibly fast and efficient- once your order in in it shows up in less than 5 minutes. But despite the crowd we never felt harried or hurried to move along and lingered long after finishing our meal.
google avatar

Brandy S.

Yelp
The fried ribs never disappoint and we hope to order more before we leave. The BBQ is good, recommend the brisket. The review would Ave been 5 stars but for the temp in the restaurant. It was freezing and the fans were on high, making a breeze on the table. Everyone was in coats and when I mentioned it to the waiter, he said that's just how it is. The fans and already cool night made our meat cold within minutes of being delivered, so that was the only critique. Otherwise, Home Team delivers.
google avatar

Tara P.

Yelp
Great spot for meat lovers (and vegetarians in a pinch). Kiddos enjoyed outdoor area - sidewalk chalk and a big run around space was great. Service was good.

Robert E.

Yelp
Awesome food, better service! Visit the downtown, Sullivan's Island and West Ashley locations frequently - Mt. Pleasant has the best staff. Interacted with Arthur, the manager, on more than 1 occasion, ensuring our food and drinks were all to my group's liking. Server was prompt, courteous and even in the midst of a packed restaurant, made us feel like a priority. Get wings, ribs and pulled pork are all excellent. Alabama white sauce is top-notch. Mac and cheese, collard greens and rice were excellent sides. Plenty of beers on tap and mixed drinks were delicious too. 10/10, this is the preferred Home Team spot in Charleston based on service!

Yelp
Yum. Service was slow, but they were very busy. Had the pulled pork barbecue. It was quite delicious.

Yelp
So happy to have one in N. Mt P! It's by far the best location. Take it from me, order the nachos, add queso and black beans! World changing.

Yelp
Strike one, I went there looking forward to some good brisket, and they were out of it. Strike two, my buddy wanted to order food to go for his folks and was told that he could not make a to go order. So we had to order his folks food at the same time while it sit at the table getting cold. And then strike three, I opted for the ribs since they had no brisket and the ribs were dry and tough like jerky. Was not good at all. Not what you'd expect, when paying almost $22 for a half rack of ribs! Not sure or understand why a order could not be made and held off from being made till we leave so food could still be somewhat warm by the time he got home.

Yelp
Our food was great! We had the BBQ plate, brisket and chicken taco. All were excellent! The atmosphere is very laid back and plenty of seating inside or out. Great place if you want to watch a game or bring the kids!
