"Homegrown is a viable choice for a kind-of-healthy lunch when you want a salad that doesn’t taste like farm grass, or a light sandwich with local ingredients. But one of the best things about this place is that you can get their breakfast sandwiches - with things like applewood-smoked bacon, runny eggs, and roasted garlic aioli on fresh bread - at any time. Well, not literally. They close at 8pm. So you can get them for an early dinner. We haven’t been here yet, but want you to know this spot exists." - Team Infatuation

Real. Organic. Local. Delicious. You really should stop and eat at Homegrown. This location looks like an indoor co-op with a few other eateries. The menu is diverse - something for carnivores, vegans, and us Organic fam. We ordered two bowls and total cost is around $40 - HAPPY to pay for real, organic food. The bowls are very large and you have to be motivated and hungry to finish it. Hot tip: order online and beat the line. They are ALWAYS busy and while I love waiting in line for food (not really) the online order is very fast.

Delicious food. The tomato bisque soup is terrific and so tasty. The pastrami and the pesto chicken sandwiches are crispy and wonderful. Prices are a little high, though. The quality of the food warrants it, but not somewhere I'd eat too often at. Space is small but comfy.

Homegrown doesn't allow public posts from customers on their social media platforms. This is probably why. They put a lot of effort into their brand and taking crisp images of clean, healthy, beautiful food that they share across platforms. They use all the buzz words about best ingredients, sustainably sourced, etc; however, when you order an egg and avocado sandwich this is what you're going to get. I bit into this sandwich and immediately tasted rot. I open it up and this is what I see. I've got no problem eating avocados with brown spots, but this was beyond spoiled and whoever made my sandwich saw this and didn't care about what they serve people.

The food in general is good, very salty and a lot of smoked and there are pickles in the photo noticeably or not noticeable there are bones on the sandwich Not bad

Homegrown is my go to spot for sandwiches especially when I was gluten intolerant. They are filling and taste healthy but are also delicious. Their bowls are also great too. I’ve been to the Capital Hill and Mercer Island location and would recommend both. The Za'atar Smashed Chickpea Sandwich is my favorite!

Just stay away. This is my second time here first time was for lunch. My order was incorrect and the eggs are pre cooked. Slow service, no cashier, no help when you stand there. The breakfast sandwiches are not better than A DRIVE THRU so that should tell u all. Price range is about 25.00 for 2 sandwiches but if you are not that hungry you could split 1 bland sandwich between 2.

I had a whole "Ham Egg and Cheese" with inside : nitrate -free ham, Beecher's cheese, caramelized onions, sage & greens for $12.30 + coffee for breakfast. My experience : the sandwich was so good. I love it. I was so hungry. So only I didn't enjoy my cofee cause ,you know, I want a special one but this one not too much.
