"Homegrown is the local Seattle sandwich chain Gwyneth Paltrow wishes she came up with. Everything is organic and sustainable, water is sold by the carton, and they also have really good pickles. Get the pastrami or the ham and beecher’s cheese sandwich with sage aioli and caramelized onion, or the chicken pecan cherry salad if you’re trying to attempt health. Group catering is also great here if you’re doing takeout lunch for the whole office. Just make sure they remember the pickles. photo credit: Nate Watters" - Aimee Rizzo

We just had a great lunch here! Super friendly and helpful customer service. Our food was delivered quickly and was delicious. I especially loved my turkey avocado sandwich and the chocolate chip cookie was incredible. Definitely a good spot to check out if you are in the area. We will be back!

I ordered the grass-fed steak & blue and this was hands down one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. I’m not a big sandwich person, but I heard good things about Homegrown and was passing by, so I decided to check it out. All the ingredients were SO fresh. And, the way each ingredient complimented the other and enhanced the flavor profile was quite unexpected. Often times, the description of the item on the menu sounds mouth watering, but is a let down in comparison. This far exceeding my expectations. I grabbed takeout for lunch midweek so there was a little bit of a crowd but they were efficient. There was a self service kiosk and time to pick was less than 5 minutes. Very happy overall and would definitely recommend! *edit- okay it’s now a good 4 hours later and I still can’t stop thinking about how good this sandwich was. I mean, holy cow! Let’s break down the sandwich. It had incredibly juicy, mouth-watering, hot steak that was covered in blue cheese, garlic aioli, arugula, and caramelized onions, all between soft, lightly toasted, porous sour dough bread. I think they went a little heavy on the arugula, but hey, I am not complaining. This was a great sandwich and makes me curious about the rest of their menu*

Convenient self service ordering, and wasn't too long of a wait. The pastrami was ok but sandwich was very light on ingredients for what it cost, and small. There was just as much pickle as meat. It had good flavor overall, but likely not something I'd come back again for.

The sandwiches are simply the best! Cheaper and tastier than Mendocino Farms, a couple blocks away. In-person orders are done via 2 tablets at the front. Tap water is provided by the seating area. Bathrooms are always super clean.

Soulless and bland. The experience starts out zero interaction from the staff (not even a hello) with a digital screen for ordering (just like McDonalds). The till then asked for a tip starting at 18% - as I stood in front of a giant sign saying PLEASE BUS YOUR OWN TABLE. I ordered the Avocado & egg breakfast sandwich. My only interaction with staff was when they called my name for my order. It was bland and missing the hot sauce that it was supposed to have. It’s completely unseasoned otherwise. Disappointing impersonal experience.

One of the few good lunch options in SLU. They're usually pretty quick too. They sell my favorite chicken salad here. I recommend that and the Cobb salad.

Arrived and greeted with a smile (from out of town so always a nice welcoming gesture) service was quick for our breakfast sandwiches and they offered vegan and gluten free options as well! A must stop by if you’re in Seattle looking to catch a quick super tasty breakfast.

Had been craving something flavourful after a long day and the Zataar sandwich is so so good. Sloppy, almost seductive, well balanced sandwich, on a fresh toasted bread. Insanely filling, really delicious. Came back the next day for more. Do not order if you’re wearing a v cute dress. You might make a mess. Great for sandwiches, but don’t get their cold brew.
