Beautiful ambience, quite a relaxed yet modern atmosphere, dishes are beautifully curated, carefully outsourced by local produce providers and ethically thought through when put together as a dish. I love the idea behind how the components of each dish come together and homeland imparts a nostalgic message to remind us the journey our food takes before being served for us.
The mains we picked were good, did remind me of standard cafe style brunch food done well but not wowed. The dishes were slightly on the smaller end, but still a joy to eat and it meant a clear plate.
Highlight of our picks was the corn ribs-that really hit different, well seasoned, lip smackingly good, I’m grateful the staff suggested it.
Oh not to mention their in house baked focaccia is really good, got me into a whole focaccia phase and I just can’t seem to replicate it, I dream of eating more focaccia.
