This is my favorite restaurant in the valley, I always try to go when I’m in town. The staff are cool and friendly, the food is amazing and consistently GREAT any visit I make. Lots of vegan and vegetarian options. The tortillas are my favorite of anywhere in LA!

My friend recommended Homestate to me so I came by to try them for lunch. It is a pleasent establishment with counter service and a decent variety on their menu. I was turned off at first because of the price for their tacos not expecting them to be so much, however when our order arrived at our table I understood why. Their tacos are quiet large. One is almost enough for a whole meal. I tried the chicken and Picadillo tacos enjoyed them both. However, I'm not a fan of massive tacos like these. It almost felt a bit like a chore to eat just one due to their size. All of the ingredients were great and the tortilla suprisingly held up but it was definitely a bit of a mess. I also tried their Queso and Guac both of which were fantastic. I ordered a big queso cause I thought the lil might have been too small and boy was I wrong. A lil would've been enough. Overall, Homestate is a nice place with friendly staff and some decent food.

Google
Loved the food, the vibe and the employees. Nicest people serving up great food on a cool patio. What more do you need? Sorry they opened up after I moved away from the neighborhood.

First timer, picked up my order at 8:15 AM on Friday. Very nice modern, welcoming interior. Both indoor and outdoor seating. I ordered the "Trinity", "Guadalupe", "Don't Mess w/ Texas", "American Dream" by LCD Soundsystem and a order of crispy potatoes and lil'queso. All tacos were fresh, wrapped up nicely for takeout. Lil'Queso with Crispy Potatoes is big enough for 2 people, queso was so good (Chipotle has nothing on this) especially as a taco dip. Egg was fluffy and buttery. Definitely a new breakfast spot ill hit on my way to work. Employees were friendly and service was good. Green salsa was great! Red salsa wasn't spicy and lacked seasoning. Aside from this, I recommend anyone looking for a new breakfast place to give this place a shot. Cant go wrong with the good price for quality and big Texas portions!

Google
Breakfast taco inspired from San Antonio. Very good excepting the brisket, not at all like the moist brisket in San Antonio, more like Mexican shredded beef, without the flavor. Apparently it is dog friendly, there were three that i saw. One of the owners allowed her dog to drink out of a water glass, and fed it directly from a steel fork that you or I might use next!! Very off-putting! I've raised, shown, bred, and train dog, I would never allow a dog to drink / eat off of restaurant settings.

Google
The food was good, and more filling than expected. Salsas come in squirt bottles rather than portioned-out bowls, which is genius. They're yummy, too. We didn't love the main food options we got, but we liked the quality and have other options to choose from on our next visit. I plan to go back and try different meals.

Guadalupe Breakfast Taco - eggs, chorizo, cheddar cheese / 5⭐! Pecos Breakfast Taco - eggs, brisket / 5⭐! Ft. Worth Breakfast Taco - spicy achiote chicken, bacon, lettuce, pico de gallo, pickled jalapeños, tomatillo ranch / 5⭐! HomeState is a Californian fast casual restaurant that is expanding to more locations throughout Los Angeles and California. I actually live very close to their original LA location but if I am close to one of their other spots, I love to stop by, check out the space, and enjoy some delicious breakfast and regular tacos. My pet's vet is a short walk from the Ventura Blvd location so I stopped by recently. The first thing I wanted to mention is that this HomeState location has one of the nicest outdoor patios I have ever personally been to. The communal dining picnic tables and aesthetics helps create a warm, welcoming place to enjoy a meal. The staff at every single location I've been to are always very friendly and attentive. This location was no different. Everyone I met was kind and friendly. The decor is energetic and distinct. But the main star of the HomeState show is the food. They have aTexMex menu with lots of items but I can never seem to stray from the taco menu, and usually breakfast tacos no matter the time of day. They have their own hand-made flour tortillas that are incredible and then they fill them with generous, tasty combinations. The gold star goes to the always excellent brisket taco. But all three I had were excellent. One thing I really like is how fluffy and fresh their eggs are. There are also some house made salsas to go with the food, both are excellent. It looked like there was a small parking lot connected to the location. I walked over from the vet. But this area of Ventura Blvd is not hard to find street parking.

Google
Got the cookie milk iced coffee, the cool down, Loaded queso & Tijuana panther. The cookie milk iced coffee was really tasty, slightly sweet and nice subtle cookie flavor. The cool down drink was really refreshing, super bubbly and had a good lime flavor. The queso was pretty tasty, it wasn't too thick and had good flavors. Red and green sauce is pretty tasty. The Tijuana Panther Taco was good, tasted great with their sauces. The portions are not very big so you can probably eat two or three tacos. It's a nice place, located on the corner with a tiny parking lot or parking on the street. Staff was pleasant. Plenty of seating outside and some inside. Prices are fair

Yelp
HomeState is a wildly popular, expanded taco stand that aims to satisfy a wide array of cravings and succeeds from breakfast through dinner. The indoor/outdoor set-up, featuring counter seating, 2-tops, 4-tops and larger, communal picnic tables, makes it easy for singles, couples and larger groups to nestle into whatever arrangement works for them and start having a good time from the get-go. You order at the counter and get a number, so this is a fast casual spot, but it's upgraded well beyond the norm in this category. The decor is rustic and convivial, with faux incandescent string lights giving the place a warm, homey feel. They've got a liquor license, so beers and wines and slushy cocktails are also on the menu. You can definitely have yourself a time. The menu of tacos is straight forward and relatively simple, but all the ingredients are top notch, and the flavors are memorable. For breakfast, I had the Pecos Taco, which was fresh scrambled eggs and a slow roasted brisket that pretty much melted in my mouth. I chose to add some cheddar cheese; it was a nice bonus, but the taco would most definitely be fine without it, which is how they have it on the menu, as if they know something about it I also grabbed a side of their crispy potatoes with tomatillo ranch. There's nothing earth-shatteringly new about these spuds, but they are fresh and crisp and nicely seasoned, and a perfect compliment to the tacos. The house-made ranch gained a touch of flavor from the tomatillos, but I could have taken even more flavor to make it a bit more special. A duo of house-made salsas are brought with your order: salsa verde and salsa roja. Both offer great flavor without too much heat, but other hot sauces are available if you want to boost the fire. This is a great place to kick back with some simple, well-prepared and very tasty food. And the covered patio offers a perfect cross-breeze in the morning.

Yelp
I have been enjoying their delicious food for sometime now, but my last visit turned out to be the kind of experience one can see in the movies. Last Monday, I had an appointment very near HomeState and my plan was to stop by after I was done. Unfortunetly, something came up and I had to drive to Woodland Hills and I was finally done by 7:30 pm. I was starving and I passed by several other favorite places to eat, but I made up my mind to eat at HomeState regardless. By the time I arrived and placed my order, I realized that I left my credit card behind, besides feeling embarrassed and starvation to death, I didn't know what to do until I was told please don't worry, your food is ready for you to eat. I couldn't believe Argentina who is the manager overheard the conversation and told the kind cashier to offer the food to me as a kind gesture and tell me please enjoy it. I personally expressed my gratitude to Argentina and asked her if she saw the movie called, " Straw"? She said," I saw that heart warming movie and she added, this place is your home too." Tears rolled down my face and I told her how much her kind words meant to me as I was hugging her. People like her deserve to be recognized. Thank you dear Argentina for your kind act.

Yelp
Great spot for tacos! They have an outdoor patio with seating, casual vibes. Good for a meetup with friends or a casual date. You order and pay inside and they bring out your food when it's ready. I got three tacos on their house-made flour tortillas. I got chicken, brisket and Fort Worth (chicken with bacon and jalapeños). They come individually wrapped in foil. They were pretty generously filled! Beware the tortilla gets a little soggy and messy depending on the taco you get, so be prepared with napkins. I liked the brisket one the best by far. Next I liked the Fort Worth, the chicken was a little bland. I recommend adding hot sauce and their salsa to the tacos too, gives it more flavor and kick. Nice service here too!

Yelp
Fantastic place for delicious tacos & much more! Whether you prefer corn or flour tortillas- they make them fresh everyday and they are delicious! My favorite taco is the pico which is slow roasted brisket and scrambled eggs in a tortilla. The service is always a 10/10. Everyone is super friendly. The restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating with a small parking lot right on the side of the restaurant. It's a very open & airy space. There's something for everyone here.

Yelp
When I'm in LA, HomeState always finds its way into my dinner rotation. The Sherman Oaks location is a new fave: the patio looked lovely from the inside, and the employees were so lovely! The interior section was spacious, with an open kitchen - you might see them making tortillas as you wait to place your order, a fun touch. I had always wanted to try their loaded queso, and I wasn't starving, so today was the day. They certainly did not skimp on any of the toppings, and the brisket was fab. The portion was big enough I had some leftover. I opted for the Chicano Batman taco, which had nicely seasoned potatoes. The real star, however, was the frozen strawberry margarita. If you're there when it's in season, try it! You will not be disappointed. It's was perfectly refreshing on a warm day.

Yelp
HomeState is a local staple at this point. The Trinity tacos are my absolute FAVORITE. The taco comes with Bacon, Egg and potatoes. They also bring two bottles, one red and one green, to top your taco with. Please spare yourself the Cholula, TRY THEIR HOMEMADE SALSA! It's not spicy but it adds PLENTY of flavor to everything. The service is always very quick and friendly. Their price-point is a bit above than average but they invest in their ingredients by providing pasteurized juices and Vital Farm pasture raised eggs. I recommend ordering 1-3 tacos. I typically got with 2 and a side of spuds with their tomatillo ranch and am absolutely STUFFED.. Please get the spuds, they're to die for. Especially with the queso. We go here on a weekly basis for breakfast and occasional early lunch.

Yelp
God I loveeeeee this place. The flour tortillas are incredible. Just walking in, the scent of this place is salivating. I think the quesadilla is slept on. Super affordable and absolutely delicious. Wasn't a fan of their coffee but who cares, it's a Mexican place. It's like a better Chipotle. Took my mom here and she loved it! Will be back. I need to try the alcoholic slushie drinks.

Yelp
Glad this location is still around- their breakfast tacos and drinks are so good. I forget that they're on Ventura sometimes- need to make it out to Sherman oaks more often.

Yelp
My first time here. Go up to the counter, order your food, take a number, find a seat. We tried a nice variety of tacos, including the Tijuana Panthers, Ft. Worth, The Brisket and the Picadillo, all with there special flour tortillas. We also had the Cowboy Cup with charriso and beans. Everything was flavorful and tasty. HomeState has a good product and the service was friendly and helpful. Ok, I get it HomeState.

Yelp
I thought the service was amazing. The people who worked there seemed happy to be there and were so kind and patient with me. It was my first time there, so I had so many questions. They had some really good looking frozen margaritas, but I purchased the brisket and was pleasantly surprised that it was actually very moist and had great flavor. I love the outdoor seating. It's definitely a place I'd come back to.

Yelp
I am so happy that Home State in now in the Valley! Best breakfast tacos EVER. Try the Trinity (egg, potato, bacon, cheddar), try the Blanco (egg white, mushroom, and cheese), try the Pecos (eggs and brisket). For lunch, DO NOT MISS the Frito Pie!!! Always be sure to check out their Band Tacos. I currently love the Fort Worth taco: spicy achiote chicken, crispy bacon, lettuce, pico de gallo, pickled jalapeños, tomatillo ranch. The Tijuana Panther is also fantastic: shredded brisket, queso, potatoes, pico de gallo I am sad that they took away their Bunuelos except for special occasions. Maybe HomeState will bring them back if I beg them. Pleeeeeeeeeaasssse bring them back! The vibe here is always happy and fast. Good eats and good times at HomeState, authentic Tex-Mex!

Yelp
Homestate is the place to bring your family when they are visiting from out of town. Homestate has a delicious menu, with classic flavors that will impress anyone who stops by. For folks who don't eat meat, I recommend the potato taco and the Emo taco-you will certainly enjoy it. If you like a good taco (for breakfast or dinner!), this is the place to go. I like that you can sit outside, or pick a spot inside to watch the staff prepare each order. The restaurant is clean, the staff are friendly, and the energy is always positive. The atmosphere is fun, with a great view of Ventura Boulevard to take in while you enjoy your meal. This place is a solid option if you want something quick, fun, and supremely delicious!

Yelp
I recently tried HomeState for the first time, and this is my 9th year living in LA! The long lines definitely were one of the reasons I didn't want to come here, but I can see what the hype is about. The location in sherman oaks a bit more relax and I love all of the outdoor seating they offer. I ended up ordering chips and guacamole with potato tacos, I did also order one of the Chicano batman (soydillo) tacos. I wasnt a huge fan of soydillo but I think it's because I've just been eating less processed vegetarian options. The potato tacos and chips and guacamole were super yummy! Overall I would definitely come back but it would be more of a once a month event.

Yelp
Went on a whim and was such a happy surprise. They have a tiny lot with about 4 spots in the back. A little on the pricey side (each taco was about $5-$6) but I think the taste makes it worth it. The chicken was my favorite since it had a nice sauce and the cabbage gave it a crunch. The regular brisket was a bit dry so I added a lot of salsa to make up for it. Sat outside around 1 pm and just had a nice vibe with the food. Service was very nice and quick with cleaning the tables. Would recommend.

Yelp
Boom! The food and staff were great!! The patio is such a great addition to the boulevard. I went with co workers and we each got two tacos and shared a large queso. The ingredients were fresh and had great flavor. The queso was rad. Their iced teas were refreshing and they offer free refills. We also took two tacos back for another coworker, who has a gluten allergy, and they were really helpful with that! The food is really satisfying and filling, I didn't eat dinner that night. For 8 tacos, 1 large queso and 1 drink the bill was $60. Reasonable by today's standards. Next time I'm working from the office, I'll definitely stop in.

Yelp
Probably the roomiest HOMESTATE location I've been to. As usual the food tastes great and best quality. They now have rewards/loyalty program. Our family recommends- Trinity, Blanco, Guadalupe, Pecos as our faves. The cheese is awesome, everything is fresh. Tortillas are like what my mother in law makes. Warning: lines can be quite long in the morning, but it's all worth the wait. Enjoy! Food: 5/5 Cleanliness: 5/5 Service: 5+/5 Price: 4.5/5
google avatar

Yelp
When I wake HUNGRY AF I go to HomeState for the Trinity, the brisket and eggs, and the chicken taco. I really only need two tacos, but they're all so good. I order three anyway and I take one home for snack. The tacos are very filling and worth the price. I was apprehensive to try it because I really like traditional style tacos from Mexican places, but now I've eaten at HomeState every time I drive by. Even though the tacos are filling, it feels clean, I always feel good after. Could be the freshly made tortillas? They are delicious and not too heavy. I prefer a flour tortilla over corn. Try it!

Great flavors, great outdoor patio to enjoy the afternoon and evening. Margarita was nice and strong. Just a lack of menu options. Lots of friendly staff

Yelp
I have seen and heard only great things about HomeState from friends and others on social media, so I finally went to try it. There's such a loyal, cult-like following (good cult, not Netflix documentary worthy cult), and after meeting the owners and trying the food, I now know why. First off, the location is great and the space is open, warm, and has plenty of room for groups. I love that the sisters who own HomeState make the customer feel like family, and draw from family recipes and traditions for their food. And to that point, the food was great. I tried the Trinity, Pecos, and Guadalupe tacos, with my favorite being the Trinity. The Pecos (brisket) taco is good, but keep in mind it's not smoked brisket. I only mention because HomeState has done a collab with Aaron Franklin, but this is a normal brisket...very moist and flavorful though. The ingredients at HomeState are fresh and there is a great balance of flavors in each taco. Although I ordered corn tortillas, definitely check out the homemade flour tortillas which are now available for purchase by the dozen. They are delicious! Because it was 9am I didn't try the margarita (excuses, excuses) but they looked amazing! Reading the ingredients will make you want one. Everyone working at HomeState was very nice, and the owners really care about creating a positive environment and making people happy via the food they serve. It's nice to see people who love what they do and who take so much pride in making their patrons happy. Definitely check out HomeState...it's all heart and no hype!

Yelp
I am a big fan of HomeState. I love coming here for their breakfast tacos. My go to tacos are Don't Mess with Texas, Trinity, and Pecos. The brisket is flavorful and the refried beans with their bacon is a wonderful combination. I am very particular with scrambled eggs and they make them perfectly every time. HomeState also has a nice vibe and energy in the place. Enjoy a Ranch Water while you're there.

Yelp
Good taco spot in Sherman oaks I loved the nice patio vibe and good happy hour on margaritas I got a trio of tacos potato taco, Breakfast taco and a brisket taco all tasted very good will be coming back

Yelp
The tacos remind me of living in Texas! They are delicious!! I particularly love the bean and brisket tacos. They are always loaded up with fillings. The tortillas are awesome too. They make the food really fast as well. Great place, highly recommend.

Yelp
GREAT atmosphere. Dog and kids friendly seating area. Great/friendly service for a quick service restaurant. They have a lot of great options for tacos and the tacos are pretty filling. Their homemade tortillas are the best!

Sandy L.

Yelp
We had this in Glendale and it was great! Hopefully this is just a one off, our tacos were soaked in oil. Not just from the inside, but on the outside as well we wound up, throwing out our order. The cashier wasn't as friendly, but the staff that made the tacos and brought me our order were super nice
google avatar

Jose M.

Yelp
THEY DO NOT HAVE THE SANDWICH! I like home state and I'm proud to say I was one of their first customers. Now they are over priced and very stingy with the avocado. Also, the frozen drinks are not as they used to (strong). Go to a Mexican taco stand instead!
google avatar

Michael B.

Yelp
I tried this place last year when they first opened and they were fantastic. I figured it was time to return and see how they are doing now. The answer: Still fantastic. You order at a walk-up counter and have many choices. I choose the Trinity taco, eggs, bacon and cheese on a homemade flour tortilla and the Frio, basically a smokey bean and cheese taco. I received a number to plane on my table and headed out to the patio to wait for my food. It came out quickly and was outstanding. They brought me their homemade red and green salsas on the side. I used the green sauce on the Trinity and the red sauce on the Frio. Both sauces were of the hook delicious by themselves and complemented the food, too. The patio is a great place to sit and watch the traffic and pedestrians. If the weather is not to your liking, you can also eat inside. My only complaint would be the parking is tough. Their lot is very same and usually full. Try parking on Greenbush Ave. It has a two hour limit, enough time to eat and get back on the road. This is a must stop for breakfast or lunch anytime you are in the Sherman Oaks area.

Yelp
I live right across the street and I love breakfast at home State especially the brisket breakfast taco And Ray, The manager is awesome. I was picky about the take-home tortillas that I get fresh baked and they're so delicious and he was so nice helping me get what I wanted
google avatar

Yelp
Bacon breakfast tacos are the best. The migas really awesome too. Brisket is tasty. Yum yum yum all around at this place
google avatar

Caroline B.

Yelp
Really great breakfast tacos with homemade flour tortillas! My fave is the blanco but they have a wide variety to choose from. They also have a chocolate chip milk cookie which was unique and super tasty, not too sweet. Bonus points for having an open patio with tons of seating, great spot to have a snack or drink outside!
google avatar

Prinx M.

Yelp
So whenever I order from here I get the potato tacos and the hibiscus drink, I I just want to say, I love the tacos here so much! They are very filling at such an amazing price, and I keep on coming back!
google avatar

Sam S.

Yelp
This spot is a home away from home when it comes to breakfast tacos. When you walk in the entrance, you might get lucky and see one of the cooks making fresh tortillas on a flat top. The space is bright, airy, and organic, complete with a wide open kitchen to see while you're waiting in line. Everything we've ever had on the menu is delicious. Go-to's are the Trinity Breakfast Taco and the Short Rib Quesadilla. DONT be fooled by the size of all these small plates, though - you'll be full! Margs are great and they've got Happy Hour from 3-5 PM Monday through Wednesday. Their seating is primarily outdoors, but it's a cozy covered patio with space heaters if necessary. Tables are either your standard dining table or picnic benches which are fun. Dog friendly and they've got little water cups for your pup, too.
google avatar

Harold V.

Yelp
We frequent the Atwater location which is a hipster hangout, so it was really neat that the Valley was deemed cool enough for this great taco place. As a family, we've tried almost every taco on the menu, but we keep going back to the various breakfast tacos. Incredibly addictive, especially when paired with the crispy potatoes which are a must side. Their flour tortillas are the star of the show, so whatever tacos you get will be a satisfying experience. In terms of ambience, this Sherman Oaks location is on par with the others, but on a nice weather day, the large outside area is a chill place to hang and have a couple margaritas with friends. We've never experienced the long lines, but if there is one, this place is worth the wait.

Yelp
quick and easy spot for breakfast tacos on a weekend morning! my favorites were the turkey and potato tacos (on a flour tortilla of course). the slaw in the potato tacos was extra fresh and added extra texture. since it was chilly outside, they had heating lamps spread out among the tables. I think I would have preferred if the tacos weren't taped up? just because I like when the flour tacos are a little crispy at the edges. however, I did appreciate the detail of the tape being labeled to show which taco was which.
google avatar

Yelp
This order at the counter has it all correct. Incredible tacos filled with flavor and not skimping on ingredients. The Trinity taco was beyond delicious and seasoned perfectly. There is a large "outdoor" area which can get very loud between the patrons enjoying food and beverages (oh try the pineapple fermented drink or the hibiscus) and the zooming traffic on the road. Great staff happy to help at any time. I'll be back next time I'm in town!

Stopped by at 8:00 am on a weekday. This is a large, attractive and spacious location with an interior with ac and a large exterior garden like room with two large airy openings. They accept only Cards as payment, no cash. I disagree with that. I ordered one Blanco which had eggs whites, jack cheese and mushrooms in a flour tortilla- this was very good- the flour in house made tortillas are delicious; and one Frio with flour because I liked that charro refried beans taste I had at their Playa location- this was very good again. The both tacos are heavy for their size. This is a good TexMex place. I also tried the small Queso which is too watered down and not cheesy and doesn't stick to a chip. I won't order it again unless they change they recipe. I did order their coffee which came in a ceramic cup! They get their coffee from the Mierisch Family Farms which is a higher end coffee from Nicaragua (they also have some farms in Honduras) . Really excellent coffee, drank it black of course. They do sell their coffee beans in a 12 ounce package for about $14. Great price! Next time I going to try their ranch salad or their classic migas. Frozen margaritas if after 6pm. All menu items are reasonably priced. I met the manager Maggie who was informative and very pleasant. All the staff I encountered were helpful and friendly. The Valley is lucky to have this place.

Yelp
It was our first time here and WOW! Rey was so attentive and kind. Can't remember the last time I've had such great service like that. He helped us find a table when he saw us waiting at the counter. He made sure that we liked everything we ordered. He even brought over a cookie for us to try. Thank you to Rey and the rest of the staff for such a great experience! We'll definitely be back!

Yelp
Alright, let's get down to why the Sherman Oaks Homestate is the best of them all. This is crew of people who genuinely care about you as a customer, but more importantly, genuinely care about each other. The team here create an atmosphere that doesn't feel that dissimilar to a neighborhood block party or family reunion. The chefs here are consistent and always connecting with their guests, even if it's just a smile. This wonderful team creates an experience that is just as delicious as their breakfast tacos. Trinity on flour no cheese is my go-to and just about everyone at that register knows it. I'd like to do some special shout-outs to the people at this restaurant who have really made this place my local hang. Claire - incredibly attentive to guests and can multitask like nobody's business. Davey and Jeffrey are the kings of the floor. I guarantee if you sit on the patio during lunch you will be so charmed by their personality and readiness to help. Ben is one of the most professional and hard working people that I have ever seen in this calibre of "fresh casual". Jenny, Miles and Stephen are faces that always brighten my day. This place is 10/10. The happy hour margaritas are also very prime. Thank you all for being a wonderful place to spend an hour or two at any time of the day.

Yelp
For some reason this last time we visited it just didn't taste the same :( the potatoes were a bit different the tacos just weren't the same delicious tasting ones I'm used too from here. Hope it goes back to the old and better tasting ones soon enjoyed coming here since they provide high quality ingredients.

Yelp
Run! Don't walk for the best, authentic queso you'll find in California. I love this location, they have such a vibrant, warm and comforting atmosphere. The patio is adorable and you feel like you're picnicking. You can sit inside, I recommend grabbing a frozen margarita. They have fresh flour tortillas for purchase you can watch them make by hand. I love their tacos, quesadillas and of course the loaded queso. Their ft worth tacos have bacon, Jalapeños , and ranch in them. They are ridiculously addicting. I love their green, and red salsa and their crunchy, non greasy chips. This is a great spot for gluten free options because of the corn tortillas, and they even have a vegan taco option. Can't go wrong here! Their teas are even scrumptious. I love coming by and grabbing this to go, or sitting if and enjoying myself. All of the workers are fantastic You can place your order online and it's a quick pickup. Parking I suggest on the street!

Yelp
I really enjoyed my Elite visit to HomeState this morning. I was looking forward to the Trinity taco which is a breakfast taco made with pasture raised eggs, bacon, cheddar cheese and potatoes and I have to say I was not disappointed. It tasted as good as I thought it would. My family is from Texas so that is another reason I had to try this place. It's a nice spot and in a good location but parking is a little tough with Ventura business but eventually you will find a park. I liked the ambiance and it smelled delicious when you walk in the door. Very friendly staff. I will be back.

Yelp
Never disappoints. Queso. The real thing. Tried Hibiscus Limeade. Another winner. And free refills. Will definitely go back.
