Incredible. Everything about this place start to finish is amazing. From the fantastic bartenders to the ever-changing and updating menu with fresh items and new things to consistently try. I’ve been here a handful of times since I’ve come to the area about three months ago and every time it never lets down.

We ordered cocktails, the kaesar, and the fish entree. The bartender Andy was superb. Described a drink I wanted that wasn’t on the menu and he served it up in a breeze. The food was fresh and delicious. I was impressed by how well seasoned the white fish was.

Service was excellent. The food was at best mediocre, and the presentation was its strongest quality. I can tell the kitchen and wait staff do a great job and put care into their work, but the flavor and consistency of the food just is either lacking or incorrect (for reference, I had the carbonara). There was basically no sauce with the carbonara, as though they just used butter. It’s wild that there’s so much italian influence in this area and they would botch it. Also the focaccia tasted ok but was very cold.

Absolutely delicious food, from start to finish. Probably the best brussel sprouts I've ever had and a phenomenal strip steak!

We've been here a few times the service is always great. Bartenders and weight staff do a great job. The food is just average overall. Some items are done better than others. The ricotta dumplings are pretty good and you can't find that everywhere. Got olives a couple times and it both cases they didn't seem marinated as much as very briny in flavor. The texture was just off. We've had the chicken a couple of times cooked really well in both cases but the flavors just weren't there. It seems like the two complicated. Do not recommend the duck. Cocktails have been good and well made.

Homestead is one of the treasures of the pioneer valley! It is not the cheapest place in the valley but everything that touches your plate or glass is worth every penny. The staff are welcoming, knowledgeable, and supportive of the atmosphere. They make it a wonderful experience whether as a date night or with my whole family, little kids and all. The bar program is something very special; providing high quality cocktails and mocktails that often offer a unique twist to the clasics, and the wine list (both by the bottle and the glass) offer a great variety of dependable and delicious traditional wines, along with more adventurous wines that offer an expansive experience. The food is delicious, I've never had a dish there that wasn't good. But more importantly I've had SO many dishes that were incredible! Not only are they well crafted but they also strike home to the Italian roots of the menu. In the summers when they are able to provide a wonderful outdoor eating environment, it really feels like you might as well be on a piazza in Florence between the music and the wonderful flavors that are gracing the palate. I know this review probably comes off as exaggerated praise, but truly, of you choose one place to eat in Northampton, Homestead should be it.

We had a very nice anniversary dinner. Delicious food, house made pasta was great, cooked perfectly.

All-around excellent, from inventive cocktails to exciting appetizers to fulfilling entrees. The kitchen's ability to adapt everything to taste is especially impressive. We left room for a chocolatey dessert, since this was a birthday celebration. Will be back whenever in the area!

I finally got the chance to visit here while I was in town. The ambiance is so lovely and the open kitchen concept is awesome. You can see the kitchen hustling through orders. We had the meat ball, focaccia, kale salad, pasta pea combo, and one other pasta dish. Our server was very attentive and friendly. They were helpful when the special I ordered was out. Our meals were fresh. Pasta served al dente. All on all a lovely experience.

Superb food and service. Nice atmosphere though a bit loud for our tastes even on a Sunday night. Conveniently located to Hotel Northampton.

Loved coming here. The restaurant is airy and open, plenty of space. The service was amazing, everyone there was so nice and exceeded expectations in every way. Steven was phenomenal, loved having him as our server and really appreciated his recommendations. The food was awesome and the drinks were excellent. We had the chicken which was cooked to perfection and the pasta dish I had with calamari was delicious. We had an octopus starter that was also delicious and cooked perfectly. Overall would highly recommend to anyone looking for inspired seasonal dishes. Great place all around

Not really clear why this restaurant has a 3.9 stars. I'm very picky and as far as I'm concerned the food is always fresh. The wait staff is always welcoming and efficient. The drinks are also very good. The one issue is it's a bit noisy because of the acoustic build of the space. Otherwise, I am a local person to this restaurant and I would wholeheartedly recommend it to people who live here as well as people who are a visiting. I've been here many times and it's my go-to for something a little more elevated but not fussy. Try the kale salad!!

The food here is incredible. If you're in doubt about what do get- the mafalde is always awesome. Whipped ricotta app is also very good always. Service is A- but that's not a bad thing- it's a large space and I think servers are just busy. A- is still and A. I've never seen one of their servers just standing around! Everyone at this place works hard to give the customer a good experience. Best Italian/pasta place in the valley as far as I've tasted. Ambiance, food, service, etc are all very good. I can't imagine going to, say, spoleto, after having anything at Homestead. TL;DR: amazing pasta, good atmosphere, fantastic food.

We enjoyed our dinner at Homestead. Attentive, pleasant service. Quiet atmosphere. Started with an arugula salad with lemon juice and Parmesan - simple, fresh, and delicious. Each of us had a different pasta dish. The pasta is made fresh. Local ingredients. Great flavors. A memorable meal.

Fair- good food not great. 20% tip plus 5% "pay equity" surcharge. Food prices do not reflect the extra 25%. Essentially management is passing on a living wage to its customers without making the price of the meal transparent, something that has been recently banned in California

Delicious! Hearty dishes in great serving sizes - sizable enough to take leftovers home but you could also finish the dish if you have an appetite. The bolognese was a touch salty but still delicious. Ravioli was a favorite for our table. My family had such a fantastic experience at Homestead on a busy Saturday night. The service was exceptional. Decor was very nice in a tasteful and cozy way. The restaurant is on the noisier side so be prepared to talk very loudly and lean in to hear your companions. Still we had a wonderful evening and ate almost every bite of appetizer, dinner, AND dessert. Would love to give it 4.5 stars.

The menu options are very limited, unless you eat veal or octopus or pork. There are no dishes with beans or fish (except for one trout dish ruined by an awful sauce). The few vegetarian options are heavy with cheese or oil. the pasta dish I had was described as spaghetti with peas and peppers but that is misadvertizing. in fact it was just a mound of white pasta with almost no peas or peppers to be found. Disappointing lack of protein and vegetables.

Quite a large varying degree of reviews. The bad reviews are so petty.... Homestead. Is cozy, warm, relaxed, excellently staffed and the food is delicious. I like the mismatched chairs and the rest of the decor. This is a place to have some well crafted cocktails made by charming bartenders, share some delicious plates of food ( meatballs, caesar salad, buckwheat pasta and mushrooms and the special butternut squash pasta, tiramisu)and chill. I will be coming back.

I enjoyed the ambiance, particularly because you sit out on car-free Strong Ave and hear the live music. The food is hit or miss. The homemade pasta is delicious but all their sauces and meat are way too salty.

Super yummy restaurant in downtown Northampton! My friends and I went to celebrate a birthday and it didn't disappoint. We shared the whipped ricotta & house-made focaccia, sweet potato pave, mafalde (pasta dish), and the special- a butternut squash and mascarpone filled pasta with roasted autumn squash. Everything was absolutely delicious- the ricotta (which had a drizzle of hot honey) was such a hit. Our group wasn't impressed with the dessert options, but everything else was amazing.

We moved out of the area a couple years ago but always make a point to eat at Homestead. anytime we are in town. The food is always outstanding and the service never disappoints. The cocktail program is outstanding we love the espresso martini and vodka gimlets. You must try the Mafalde which is an elevated mac and cheese! Our waiter Steven made a great recommendation to add pancetta! Also don't forget to try the tiramisu! One of the best I've had!

Excellent meal and great service. Limited gluten free options however. And gluten-free plus dairy-free is nearly impossible. The highlight of a meal here is homemade pasta. That is the reason to come. My dinner companions said that the pasta was among the best they ever had. The Bolognese was a stand out. I had the "local fish" but had them hold the cream sauce. The fish was very tasty. Fresh, cooked well, great sides. The octopus appetizer is a standout. Tender, but with a crispy outside. I don't know how they did it. Served with beans that were delicious. Atmosphere is fun and friendly. Eat outside if the weather allows.

Delicious food, relaxed atmosphere, and cool staff made this restaurant a delightful experience. Pasta dishes were excellent and did exactly what they should: simple high quality ingredients prepared with care. Definitely will return when in Northampton.

We had a wonderful dinner there last night! The food was delicious, arugula salad, duck steelhead trout and pasta. All very yummy. The service was attentive and efficient. I love how spacious and comfy the restaurant was. We will be back!!

Had a lovely dinner at Homestead in Northampton tonight! We've been wanting to try this spot for a while and we're so happy to have finally gone. We both got pasta, the Mafalde and the ricotta dumplings - both of which were delicious. We can't wait to go back and try more!

$17 for a couple of slices of cucumber and a few cherry tomatoes. Ladies and gentlemen, that is your smashed cucumber salad. The balls it must take to serve such a diminutive bowl with a straight face. Seriously, FU for that. The dining room is poorly decorated with mismatched tag sale chairs. No candles. Dingy old prints on the wall. No style or flair. Loud as hell. If you're going to F me at least give me a reach around. The one cocktail I tried, ordered by my companion, had far too much lime and was too warm. It was like drinking straight up lime juice at room temperature. For this they charged $14. I'm surprised she finished it. The much hyped ricotta dumplings - a stingy serving for $19 - were decent and the rapini pesto was alright. The spicy sausage was mostly MIA and when the small scrap was found, proved unremarkable. Our server was attentive if a bit too eager to remove plates that had food still on them. I'm sorry, friend, but at these prices with these small portions, I'm licking the plate. Whether I like it or not. So give me some time please.

I came here on my birthday, looking to treat myself and my wonderful friend and boyfriend to a delicious and expensive meal, which I hardly ever do. After looking at the menu online and hearing it was good, I figured it was going to be amazing. It was mediocre at best. I got the meatballs and a mocktail to start. While my friend got the olives. It was all good, but not great. The mocktail was even average, and this is something that matters to me since I don't drink at all. I want a nice drink. I shouldn't be sacrificing taste or quality just because there's no alcohol in it. Not what you would expect from a restaurant like this. I didn't really know what to get from the menu because I couldn't really understand the menu, which is no one's fault but my own. I still figured the ricotta dumplings sounded good and so I ordered that. My boyfriend ordered the chicken and my friend got a salad and the meatballs. The dumplings were ok. The dumplings themselves tasted good, but the sauce that came in them had way too much pesto and pine nuts. The flavors just didn't match up together. I was very disappointed. My friends salad was also very average. We both thought the meatballs were good, but they weren't fantastic. I expect to be salivating at how good the food is when I come to a restaurant like this. My food did not have that effect or even come close. I will say the chicken was close to perfection. Very moist and a good size portion for what you pay. It was actually very good and I know my boyfriend enjoyed it. He also got a cocktail that he really liked. Overall I just think the quality of the food was average. It wasn't worth the ~$200 I paid for the check. I was pretty disappointed and I won't be coming back.

I took my parents here and we're completely blown away by the food. While the menu seems small, everything we ordered was delicious and new!! The ciAbatta and whipped ricotta with spicy honey is a must! We ordered the pork loin, fuscille and special lemon ricotta pasta and couldn't not get over how flavorful everything was. My partner and I can't wait to go back and see what else is on the menu.

Walked in out of the blue and sat at the bar after a recommendation from a brewery employee elsewhere. Sam was our bartender and she was awesome! Helped us picked the perfect food & drink & never seemed inconvenienced, despite a busy bar. She was happy to help and was genuinely engaged in our experience. Had Sam been the end of the goodness, we would have been thrilled. But both the drinks and the food were awesome. We got meatballs and focaccia to start and then 2 pasta dishes. We seriously considered coming here 2 nights in a row but opted to try more of what Northampton has to offer. But honestly, do not skip this place. Make a reservation to make sure you get in, but worst case opt for a bar seat and Sam will take excellent care of you.

Second time coming into Homestead- this time for our anniversary. Homestead is definitely a special occasion restaurant for us, as the ambiance is nice, but the bill can add up quick, even without alcohol. We started with the whipped ricotta, which is a must order here. We also ordered a Shirley Temple, which was a deep purple, so that was delicious but a bit perplexing. The cherry was so good in this ST. I ordered the Mafalde, and my wife ordered the Rigatoni. I loved the Mafalde it had a light corny taste, almost like a salad. The Rigatoni was okay, but did not have a lot of flavor. This place is still a great spot when looking for somewhere a little more upscale to dine in Noho. P.S. Bring back the bucatini.

I cannot say enough great things about this amazing place. If you haven't tried Homestead yet... go right now. We called literally day of to get a party of 6 for my moms birthday. I honestly had accepted the fact it probably wasn't happening - on a Saturday night nonetheless. But Jeremy, the owner, took the time to take my number down, move stuff around and follow up with me. He got us in and was even able to accommodate 8 people (2 more than we had originally expected). I was honestly so impressed before I even walked in the restaurant. The service is outstanding. The team work in that place is incredible. Every.single.person is friendly and makes you feel welcomed. I am truly beyond impressed. The food was out of this world. Everything that hit the table was a huge success. I cannot recommend Homestead enough. I'm sure throughout the year, thousands of people walk through their door celebrating something. I mean this so truly when I say they made us feel like we were the only ones in there. They were attentive, easy to track down when we needed something, and quite honestly most of the time anticipated our needs even before we knew we needed something! I cannot wait to come back to our new favorite spot and try more of the menu. We, without a doubt, will be telling everyone we know about this fantastic spot. Thank you guys!!

We got here fairly early on a Sunday evening and asked for a table for two. We didn't have a reservation, and we were told we could sit at the bar or in the window. We chose the bar and figured we would have a cocktail and see where it would go. The cocktails were great, and Tony our bartender, was knowledgeable and friendly, making the experience very enjoyable. I was a pain asking him questions about their cocktails, and he enthusiastically provided details. Then, based on the cocktails, we decided to try the house made focaccia, which also was a winner. We then shared their Roasted Squash small plate and the Rigatoni Bolognese (quite large plate) with a lovely glass of Sangiovese. All in all, our expectations were exceeded and we will definitely be back.

The small menu here may not reach out and grab you, but the food surely will. Some of the best food in western mass.

Lats night, in a fit of spontaneity, we went to Homestead for dinner. We had the cod with a creamy poblano sauce with corn and the panzanela heirloom tomato salad. Both dishes were fantastic. Fresh. Flavorful. Yummmmmmy. service was good. The drink menu was interesting but I had a fresh limeade and my wife had an Italian soda. This may have been the best overall restaurant meal we've had since moving to Northampton 15 months ago.

As a New Yorker, I will say, I had limited expectations for a North Hampton restaurant. Visiting 5 star Michelin restaurants each week, I didn't have much faith this place could hold up but it did! I came here on my first of 3 nights in north Hampton as we had a wedding and was completely blown away. The atmosphere is perfectly quaint, but has a great buzz about the place, with a full bar and what looked like amazing cocktails (I had a glass of wine, so can't comment here). I was greeted by our waitress and quickly ordered the Kale salad and Polipo which were two of the top dishes I've had in some time. The kale was perfectly crisp but provided a bitter texture while being balanced with the hazelnuts. A unique addition I've yet to see before. As for the Polipo, it's an exquisite perfectly cooked piece of octopus accompanied by some lentils that represent caviar and are spectacular. I finished my night with a glass of wine, but knew I needed to come back here for more,, so I made a reservation for my only other night out in the area. I was excited to be greeted by the friendly staff and take in the environment of the restaurant and was seated on the back patio which was perfectly quaint and accompanied by a tomato bush. I had the kale salad (again) the focaccia which was very fluffy, and the chicken. The chicken with parsnip and a parsnip purée was one of the best I've ever had! It could truly competed with the chicken at Nomad in NYC which charges $75 per person. To finish the night there was a chocolate salted mouse which was out of this world. I truly hope the chef of homestead takes his talent to NYC and joins the ranks of the top restaurants in the world.

Recommended by a friend who said it was one of the very best in town. My wife and I went and couldn't have had a much worse experience. The first issue was the noise. The acoustics create the noisiest place in town. The waiter, who was very good, had to practically yell to be heard. I ordered maybe the only dish in the menu with steak- (flank maybe, which I thought was an odd choice). While very flavorful, the meat was tough and stringy. I couldn't eat it. My wife's meatless pasta dish was a better choice, but not remarkable. We got the check as soon as we could, and got out of the noisiest restaurant in town. We won't be returning. Too bad- Northampton could use another good restaurant.

We've been here several times now and always enjoy it. Reservations recommended, though we've been able to squeeze in at the bar around dinner time. Bartenders are generally nice and helpful. Drinks are good. Food is usually good (especially their breads and salads), though sometimes the specials were not worth it.

We had had the most amazing meal last night with two other couples! We tried 5 or 6 small plates (ricotta, burrata, olives, butcher steak, kale salad, squash!), two or three entrees (whole fish, pork) and a smattering of desserts (cookies, chocolate pudding, tiramisu). This place is the BEST for sharing food; everything was incredibly delicious and fun. Our server was sweet, smart, attentive, and quick and helpful in answering questions! I don't eat flour or sugar, and I found it really easy to navigate their menu. I was also able to adjust cocktails to be sugar free. They also make their own homemade pasta! This is the kind of Italian restaurant where people who love meat, vegetarians, and people with dietary restrictions could dine out with ease! Top notch restaurant experience!

We came here because we ran into the owner and I guess he was good at selling the concept to us--fresh/make their own pasta, locally sourced ingredients, etc. they had mafalde on the menu so I was immediately sold. My husband and I were in town for a wedding one weekend so didn't get to have many meals in Northampton, but this was definitely the/one of the best ones we had. Initially was a little meh on the idea since I love large portions and some of the pastas are a little under entree size, BUT after eating there I have no complaints! Everything tasted really good--got the bucatini and two of the specials. Pasta had good texture and flavor. Also they are different--we had this big ravioli type thing with a duck egg that was fab. Really good dining experience also. Coffee was good as is the house wine which is only maybe $6 a glass. I definitely recommend. The owner also has this store called provisions that is close by and has a lot of good food--we got prosciutto, really tasty cheese, and wine. Large selection of wine, beer, ciders, and sake ( got a bottle of that too)

Great service and food. The serving sizes are a little small for the price and quality in my opinion. Truly great food and an incredible atmosphere.

We started the night with the supposed hostess telling us we couldn't have the table we wanted because they only were able to accommodate three at that table. However there were four chairs with settings for four. When we were leaving she sat four people there. Maybe we weren't young enough for the front window. The food was boring at best. We wanted an out of the way table so we could talk. The hard surfaces created so much noise we could barely hear each other. The martinis were small and warm. Meatballs boring with acidic sauce. The pasta was dry and not worth the money we paid for it. I would not recommend this place.

Apparantly Homestead is the third eatery at this address, the first being our long-time favorite, Ibiza Tapas Wine Bar. We mised owner, Juan's Farm to Table transition from Ibiza, which closed before we had the chance to try it. So not knowing the new Homestead was not the Farm to Table we expected, but a brand new owner/chef, Jeremey Werther venture of American/Italian/ and yes, tapas--known these days as small plates. So, we were game. It was my birthday. I had requested Juan's place, and was fine trying out Jeremy's place. The menu is inviting, and I had decided on the kale salad, but was early on warned by our server, Kyrie, that some menu items weren't available since it was Sunday and they are closed on Monday so when they run out, they don't want to replenish. Of course, one of the unavailable items was the kale salad. Okay, so I ordered the daily stuffed pasta special, which was a pureed carrot and turkey in a kind-of rectangular ravioli shape with, amazingly, rhubarb and tiny purple grapes adorning the plate, along with some shredded pieces of turkey. The flavor was excellent, and the rhubarb and grapes an inventive, creative touch. My husband ordered the ricotta pasta balls with spicy Italian sausage and a very good pasta sauce. Both entrees were served in bowls, and were a modest portion size for the full-sized entree section. The seemed in between a small plate and full entree size. Certainly we had nothing left over. We ordered the blueberry-topped cheesecake for dessert and it was creamy and delicious. So why am I not raving about the place? It is hard to put my finger on. Our server didn't seem very enthusiastic about serving. She was competent enough, but with only a couple of other tables filled at this early Sunday evening hour, we had the impression she was not a open to much verbal exchange. It wasn't unfriendly, but far from friendly. It was off-putting. I asked about the restaurant history and asked about Juan and she said he is not participating anymore. I asked if it was now owned by Jeremy, and she said a hearty yes to that. Again, she didn't really want to chat. Let's just say the food is fresh, creative and well-prepared, the value is there, the open kitchen a plus, and the menu selection quite pleasant. The service seems a bit stiff, and it did make us feel less than special. Maybe I am more sensitive about it being a birthday meal, maybe I miss the warm reception we always had from Juan. I think it deserves a second try. I still give it 4 stars.

Ok, so I really wanted to give this a 5-star review for their food and cocktails, but a few things to improve on. First, the ambiance was nice, but a bit bright for me. When you go out to dinner with your loved one at a nice restaurant you look for a romantic/ambient feel, and this certainly was missing here. Second, service could have been better. Granted, being a former server for 20+ years and knowing restaurants are struggling now, but I had to chase my server down a few times to get her attention. I don't blame her, I blame the help from other staff and management. A ton of space with both indoor and outdoor seating. We decided to choose inside. We started off with a few cocktails and their focaccia. Both were amazing! We also shared their whipped ricotta, which was also delicious and very, very fresh. When you look on their website they mention "hand-made pastas, and local rustic Italian food." You don't find many of these upscale restaurants in this area but I'm glad to have found this one. Some of the finer restaurants are either closed permanently or have selected hours. For entrees, my husband had their bucatini and I had their gnocchi. You can really taste the quality of their pastas. The portions were a bit smaller compared to others, but great that we could share everything and very reasonably priced (when you are from Boston...everything is pricey). I am so happy that we had a chance to dine here and I know I would love to return at a later date. Be sure to check them out, they are worth a visit!

Perfectly OK dining experience. Indoors with Covid and all. Cocktail was pretty interesting, a whisky sour essentially with some flemmish ale floated on top. Would have liked a stronger whiskey flavor but I like the booze forward cocktails. GF had a mocktail that was SUPER sweet. I think they just removed the booze from one of the cocktails and expected it to balance the same way, it didn't. Charred snap peas and the fancy chocolate pudding were fantastic! Salad and pastas were just OK, seemed to lack something to make them really stand out. Overall the food was good but for the price was hoping for something to wow me a little more. Server was excitable and friendly but the meal flew by. Not sure if we ate fast or if they were just moving people through but we finished in an hour... which ended up being fine because for some reason near the end of the meal the AC started to blast directly on our table (it was 48 degrees out, please no AC!) We didn't mention it though since we were about to leave, so no points off there. Homestead was solid, I probably wouldn't go back simply because the quality compared to the price but maybe we just had an off night?

Do not go here. It is a rip off with terrible service. first time here we were the only ones in the place and had a good experience despite a very tough steak... everything else was good that times so I let it slide. last night had a HORRIBLE experience - we ordered meatballs which were served cold for some reason, we then waited 30 minutes for the small plate duck which was unnecessarily cooked in gross oil and underseasonned... we waited again for a very long time, we were not brought bread, we were not asked how anything was - when the mains finally came one of them was wrong so we had to send it back... waiting again for a very long time and eventually cancelling the order. The whole point of a place like this is that it should be relaxed, comfortable and even spoiling... So you can focus on and enjoy the unique food...instead there were way too many servers running around killing the atmosphere - for just a few parties this made no sense at all... very strange. When we sent the plate back the server just ran off - not asking if we want to replace it, cancel it etc... When I cancelled the order I was met with a nasty look from one of the cooks and general rudeness... I will not be back.

Terrific food great atmosphere overall great! I wished they had a slightly larger menu but the cocktails are amazing! Waitresses are so sweet and helpful

Was not that great. The crostinis with the honey ricotta could break a tooth, meatballs were lukewarm, steak was chewy and no flavor. However, the cocktails were AMAZING!! And the 5% wage fee should be noted on the menu. Service and Ambiance are nice but I won't go back base on the food alone.

They've done it! The plates come out of the kitchen absolutely delicious time and time again. The staff is attentive without hovering. The drinks are wonderful (in my head I was singing 'wonderful' as I wrote that. We had the ricotta and honey - oh grrrl that was heavenly. The citrus salad left me wanting more. The Brussel sprouts weren't all that, but the meatballs were yummy, and the shishito peppers didn't disappoint. Finally, the night were we're there, a really wonderful rosemary focaccia bread was advertised on the sandwich board and it left me wanting more.

Very nice atmosphere and original take on food - not the same old. Very refreshing

Visited for the first time with my boyfriend and it was amazing! Jeremy and his staff are killing it in the kitchen and Emily is running front of house beautifully. I'd say make a reservation because it was below zero last night and the place was packed! Everything was so good including the drinks but I'm definitely doing the pasta and octopus next time and I hope the tiramisu is officially on the menu and no longer a special. My pics don't do anything justice.

I went here with my sister and brother and sat at the bar for dinner. We are all three from out of town and if nothing else brings us back to Northampton, we'd all three come back just to eat again at Homestead. The positive energy the whole crew had -- from the bartenders to the cooks to the dishwasher -- resulted in some of the best food and drink I've had in a long time. The spaghetti mushroom carbonara ... truly incredible. The pasta is made there by people who love their work and it is evident in the flavors we experienced from the salad through the main course to the dessert. The drinks were also great. If you want a restaurant with good, fresh, flavorful food served in an energetic, positive, relaxing setting, this place fits the bill.

The food and the staff are beyond Excellent at this restaurant. We had the home-made bread, meatballs, arugula salad, buttermilk brined half chicken, the rigatoni, and then tiramisu for dessert. All the dishes were superb. The food is locally sourced, the pasta is handmade, and everything tasted fresh and delicious. The service was great! I highly recommend this restaurant. There was a lot of care that went into our meal.

Interesting food combinations that were overall good quality. Non traditional healthy food sourced from small farms in the area. Food is presented tapas style where everyone shares the dish. Bread is top notch too. Service was good and environment was relaxing.

I'm late to post this review, but wow what an experience. We came here for a special dinner while visiting Northampton for my birthday. The food was OUTSTANDING, but the experience was what really made it special. Our server was great: super informative, helpful, and honest- just what we like. I'm still thinking about the whole dinner months later, and will actually be returning for another special occasion. If you don't like a dinner experience that is centered around grazing and enjoying your food whenever it arrives, much like Spanish tapas, then this might not be the dinner experience you want. But believe me, it's a dinner experience you NEED to try. Cant wait to be back!
