Delicious, heavy packed, filling rolls ! 1st time trying sushi from here and this place did not disappoint ! We ordered to go and our order was ready within 20 mins ! We had ordered 5 rolls and veggie tempura, and our rolls all included fresh ginger, spicy mayo and eel sauce. Staff was kind and helpful, they even brought my order to my car.. can’t wait to eat here again !

Visited this place with my friends. It boasts impressive visuals—fresh, beautiful, and a captivating taste. I love sushi, and this place’s satisfaction is incomparable. The Bluefin Sashimi is truly amazing. I will definitely revisit. Grateful for their kindness even amidst busyness.

Zero stars for the food. 5 stars for the service. Service was excellent but the food!!! Read below: The calamari was very oily. The chicken shrimp fried rice was made with very small shrimp and dark meat chicken. It had no flavor. And now the Sushi... Where should I start? The all you can eat is almost $40 a person and they have another menu that's $50 a person. I ordered all my sushi to be soy paper they charged a $1 extra a roll... Now to the sushi its self, it is packed I mean packed and packed with rice. They really want to fill you up and not to be able to order more. The quality of the fish is mediocre... 6 orders of rolls and 1 order of frid rice for 3 adults and 2 kids with tip came out to be $175.... For the quality this is highway robbery. If I were you I would go somewhere else. I'll never go back and I'm not sure how they got the 4.5 stars reviews!

Think we found a new spot! It's the most expensive AYCE sushi we have been to. $50 per person includes sashimi n some other extras. (Most we go to are between $29.99 and $39.99 per person for dinner). However, we did feel the quality was great. The sashimi slices were great cuts. We liked everything we tried. Place is cute. Went on a Friday got there at 5:30pm seated right away. By 6:15ish they had a good wait-list from people coming. LOVE that rolls are only 4/5 pieces smart. Also lets us try more of different ones. Picture of order sheet and then a pic of description sheet (tells u what exactly will be in your roll, sorry that one is blurry) TRY it at least once if you love AYCE sushi -you wont be disappointed. This place is my hubby’s and I favorite Sushi spot. We have been coming for years. The Sushi is amazing the Service is great. I highly recommend it. Not enough stars for this place. By far still my favorite sushi place to go to this is a must stop for the hubby and me at least twice a month. Staff is amazing the food is amazing . You guys are great . We always feel welcome and almost everyone here knows us by now and what we like to order. Thank you guys so much for the wonderful anniversary plate surprise and ice cream. 🥰

The sushi was quite tasty here. I prefer more veggies inside the rolls, but if you’re a meat-lover, you’ll like that they put a good amount of fish both inside and outside of the rolls, as was the case with the Burning Roll and the Baked Monster Roll. I like that the rolls we ordered all tasted unique, especially the smoky flavor of the Baked Monster, but we noticed that many of the menu items were just California rolls with slight tweaks. The service was very good. If you don’t want to do the all-you-can-eat, then there’s is a good “Buy 3 Rolls, Get 1 Free” Special.

It's been a while since I last visited here, the place looks good and the staff is attentive, even with the lunch-dinner rush. Joy my server was a joy to have. I was going to go A la Carte but decided on the AYCE for dinner instead (40.55$). Began with an Asahi Beer (BOGO for 1$). The Miso Soup was hot and delicious, Shrimp Tempura was battered just right and made fresh. I always have the Baked Green Mussels they have a way of preparing you for the meal to come. Admittedly, I will say that the Tuna and Salmon Nigiri was a bit dry. BUT the Squid and Shrimp Nigiri were great and A+ on the Cherry Blossom Roll (HON SPECIAL-FERSURE). Moving on to the second round: The chicken in the Teriyaki Chicken Roll was chewy and the Baked Shrimp Tempura Roll was overstuffed with Cream Cheese making it heavy on the stomach. On the contrary though the Inari Sushi was a sweet and a pleasant surprise! (I suggest you try it). The Halibu Nigiri was not as fishy as one would think and pretty nice. The Baked Salmon Skin Roll was as expected and had a nice balance of charred smoked skins and fresh microgreens dressed with a lightly sweet sauce. To finish the meal, I ordered Gyoza, another order of Shrimp Tempura and Garlic Edamame. All of which hit the last craving space I had left in me. I left stuffed and content that I had tried a bit of everything in the menu and even some new things. The atmosphere is clean and nice, they play catchy music and keep the vibes going. I definitely will be coming back to try more items and I suggest you should too.

My partner and I are sitting here now eating dinner together. The sushi here is so outstanding I had to write a review. All I can say is WOW. I love sushi, I’ve eaten a lot of it. This makes the top 3 sushi experiences I’ve ever had. We didn’t really anticipate it being this good so we didn’t take any pictures before we started eating, but this is where we are at less than 10 minutes in 😅 you will NOT BE DISAPPOINTED! We got the B.S.C.R (if you like warm rolls and scallops this was out of this world literally melts in your mouth!) we also got the tuna lovers, the Grace roll, and the spider roll. The rolls were huge, they were all perfect. We even asked the owner to come meet us to thank them. Exceptional experience! 11/10

!TEMPORARILY Closed! Unfortunately a building fire on 7/4/24 at the military reserves office next door forced Hon Sushi to close too. According to their website, they should open in December. Fingers crossed because I like the AYCE lunch and BOGO specials. The place is casual and offers outdoor dining. The owners are always friendly, welcoming & personable. I wish them best of luck and look forward to their reopening.

This is my go-to takeout sushi place. I love Love LOVE their bluefin toro sushi roll and their salmon lover roll. We made a reservation on a Friday night and it was not too busy. We were seated right away. I like the fact that you can order from a tablet at the table or looking and menus and marking with a pencil. This was my first time eating at the location and they had a great buy 3 get 1 free roll deal. The baked salmon roll melts in your mouth and the sashimi platter was amazing. The salmon teriyaki bowl was also so flavorful. We were all so impressed with our dinner here. We will definitely be returning!

My favorite sushi place in the IE. They have great lunch specials. The salmon bento box is one of my favorites. The sushi rolls are so good. My favorites are: 1. Protein roll 2. BJ 21 roll 3. Mountain roll 4. Shooting Star But honestly I love all the rolls. My daughter loves the golden tiger roll. Everyone is friendly and the service is quick. I love that it's easy to have lunch here.

They are closed from Aug 13-31 according to their website. Usually our go to for Sushi in Corona. I hope this is only temporary.

Disclaimer: I had a doordash order so I can't speak about the restaurant's ambiance or the service. However, I did experience a fast pickup (the restaurant was fast to prepare the order) and the order itself was logically packed to prevent any spills. I ordered a spicy tuna roll and a BSCR. Both were absolutely delicious!! I wasn't feeling too good so both rolls definitely filled my cravings of the night. I also loved how they packed the eel sauce separately from the roll to prevent it from getting soggy-- thank you! Unfortunately, I was a little annoyed to find that only two soy sauce packets were put in. There was the perfect amount of ginger and eel sauce, but guys, let's be a little more generous on the soy sauce as well please! Will definitely be coming in next time and giving you guys a second try though-- you've earned it! :)

Delicious sushi STILL! They brought back the AYCE 40$ or 50$ option menu for "dinner." Lunch options are different menu. I chose the 40$ AYCE Cajun salmon, tuna my favorite. Eel for last. Monster roll is refreshing. The baked rolls are delicious too with the salmon, scallops, and tuna so many selections available on the AYCE! Love this place. I also ordered food to take home for my teen kiddo- chicken bowl and shrimp tempura. My total bill 75$. Very reasonable considering all the sushi I ate! Service super fast and on a week day Wednesday around 6 pm. Parking lot is large. I've been here on a Friday and it does get crowded so I eat here on weekdays on the way home from work actually usually solo. Today I had a friend who works nearby meet me- it was a nice catch up. Ambience is casual. Beer and sake available. Cute couples are nearby. Some with kids who seem appreciative of the dining out rules. Patio seating usually gets a bit jovial when I eat out there- that's the fun crowd seating area. I like this local spot. I cheated on them a few times, but I always come back to here still. I've learned my lesson. I never get sick. I get great slices with little to no sinew. Little to no wasabi needed. Just yummy yummy for me. I'm not an expert sushi person. I don't eat in LA, so this reviewer is just an Inland Empire taste bud palette person who eats around Temecula, Pomona, and Ontario. I love Hon Sushi- my go to place on the way home from Work and meet with friends after work place! Come here!! You can order a la carte or AYCE.

This is my ultimate most favorite sushi restaurant. I love it here. There customer service is amazing. The food is delicious. I highly recommend you trying sushi here and let's not forget the dessert new on their menu Mango Pannna Cotta or the Blueberry panna Cotta. My favorite roll is the Shrimp and mango roll and let's not forget the popcorn roll it's delicious. My husband and I have been coming here for 7 years.

I've been to a few spots here in Corona... I just moved here and this is one of the best places for sushi and I'm from the beach area. 5 stars! Specials are awesome!

Food was actually better than I expected! I loved the tempura it was perfectly battered not too thick and not greasy, just right balance! Joy was our server and she gave excellent service and good recommendations. Place is a not too big but it's always packed yet clean. It was my son's bday and we were complemented with a nice Ice Cream of different flavors to share. I highly recommend this place if you want good quality Sushi!

Two AYCE sushi spots in 2 days...I think I have a bit of an addiction. Ha ha! (Came here in 2018) Sat at the bar and saw the chefs at work. The food came out quickly, was fresh, and the presentation was very neatly done. The lighting was nice and low at the bar. I felt comfortable being there on my own, which is always a huge consideration for me.

Half the sushi was blah. Almost tasteless... the other half was OK. Presentation need improvement. Restaurant decor was interesting but crowded with cardboard boxes and a Xmas tree. There printed picture of their sushi rolls all over the place. Price for dinner and weekend is around $40 and I don't see why. The veggie tempura was amazing . Customer service was good. Food... mainly the sushi... not so... enjoyable. Some pieces were so bland. I still don't understand the $40, it was the exact same menu as the $33 selection, there were no differences... jut the time of day... It too confusing my simple logic. Enjoy!

The best sushi of the inland empire. The AYCE menu has been expanded greatly and the first is always fresh. The staff are kind and prompt so you'll have a good time.

Hon sushi is my favorite sushi spot in the area! I love seeing Becky, she is always so kind and welcoming! Hon has Great service and great food with good prices. I love sitting outside the ambiance is super cute. Definitely recommend!

We are regulars and love Hon sushi so much that we bring others. We come here for all you can eat and our whole family loves it.! The service is good. The restaurant is clean and we have never had any issues in all the years that we have been coming.

This is a nice intimate spot! We were able to enjoy our dinner outside in a quiet environment. The food here is really fresh and worth the all you can eat. The server was very nice and the manager greeted us well and helped with our big party. I will definitely come back!

I'm back! This time with 18 other friends, famished for scrumptious and fresh sushi. The food is remarkably prodigious as always, especially for AYCE Sushi. Customer service was even more stupendous than my first visit (the Sushi Chef came out to greet us which made our night even more special)! We love Hon Sushi and all their Staff!

We have been coming here for years. And the portions are generous, delicious rolls. I love the Monster Roll. My kids enjoy coming there too, even my five year old who is a picky eater. Staff is always friendly.

I ordered on Postmates, I really enjoyed their dinner box and the kids meal it was pretty large for 10$ all good size Portions and great for the price. They have all you can eat so can't wait to stop by and try more options.

Great sushi, love their combo sets. Minus 1 star for their long Togo orders. Seems like every time I'm waiting at the front for my order even after coming past the expected time.

Updating from last review, getting used to new ordering process and it's not that bad and the food is always on point. The staff is more than willing to help with your order and management stays on top of things. Prices are real good for the quality of food you get.

This used to be one of our favorites with big tasty rolls. They have gotten smaller and not as tasty. Tried to substitute spicy tuna with plain tuna and the chef was rude about it, yelling at us across the restaurant. Not sure if we will ever go back.

Great service my favorite place to have salmon skin hand rolls. The Ricky Bobby is so yummy my son loves the mountain roll. Great ambiance I love this place.

Just received my sushi order , this is the second time they get our order wrong! Employees need to care , pay attention ! Sauces are huge and also there is a difference in soy paper and seaweed ! Moving forward I will be looking for a new sushi spot ! Ain't nobody got time for this, after a long day at work :( !

Date night with husband. First time trying this place out and service was exceptionally amazing! Our waitresses genuine smile made us smile. The food was all delicious! I would order every item again but I am more excited to try out something else they have because of how good those rolls and calamari was!

Think I just found my new sushi spot. Peach sake was delicious. Get the Gyoza and Spicy Garlic Edamame. Ordered the Dinosaur Roll and Fire crunch Roll both super good. Also get the garlic salmon sushi really tast and yellowtail sushi also fresh.

They have a buy 3 get 4th roll free and buy a large beer $7 (Sapporo or Kirin) and get a large for $1. We always take advantage of both promotions. Just an fyi for anyone looking for AYCE, they no longer do it. I definitely recommend this place, it's one of the best tasting places I've ate at.

Our Server Maddy was so caring about our dietary needs , even saw that the seared Albacore wasn't to our liking (not that it's bad because nothing here is bad , it's just she oversaw our specifics and was spot on, this girl is manager material )..our sushi roll and Kama, was perfect.

Maybe I was just excited about a sushi place serving AYCE over in the IE during these strange times, but I had a great experience here. I came by with some friends/coworkers during phase 2 of stay-at-home orders, so with dine-in restricted to outdoor seating, I was very thankful this place had their patio still available for AYCE. This place has tiered menu options for AYCE, three menus total for lunch but dinner only had options B and C. We opted for option B; the only difference is that C also included sashimi. The service here was good and friendly. One of the waitresses was very helpful with assisting my friend with food options as he follows a plant based diet. What can I say? Sushi is an all-inclusive affair. Despite him not getting AYCE, he seemed to have been pretty full and satisfied from his food, and he paid less too. I definitely enjoyed all the sushi I ate, although honestly I'm a simple guy and as long as they have cajun salmon I'm satisfied. And theirs was good. I'm just very thankful for this place and would come back for sure.

We get together here often for work. Honestly one of the best sushi spots in the area at the moment. Comparable to Asahi in Riverside when they first opened. The quality is great, service is fun and fast. Sometimes they run out of a specific fish but that's okay if it means the quality is good. I'd rather have one quality blue fin tuna than a whole plate of nasty soggy sushi. Am I right? Come here, you won't regret it.

I ordered a cucumber roll via grub hub and it looked nothing like the picture, no fish involved at all as the picture showed, but the sauce was the same. Cucumber salad has no dressing or marinade, I got no soy sauce and am very disappointed. Will not be recommending or ordering again.

We went to Hon Sushi for a birthday party at 2 pm. The service was okay, the restaurant want pretty empty but it felt as if we were a nuisance. Our party all ordered off of the all you can eat menu, there are 3 AYCE menu's all prices differently which was a little confusing. We ordered off of Menu A & B. The food was okay. We had a wide variety of sushi and appetizers. The description menu didn't disclose what was on each roll very well in my opinion. The tropical roll was probably my favorite roll. Overall my experience was just okay.
