Honest Burgers London Bridge - Tooley Street

Mixed feeling about this location. It is very convenient as it is next to London Bridge station and the main landmarks. However, due to that it was packed! We went on a random Wednesday at 6pm and it took forever to get a table and even more to order and get the check. They only had 4 waiters for the entire place and they were overwhelmed. The restaurant seems small, but there are two floors and they can fit quite a few people. They had to block new orders every so often because the kitchen couldn’t cope. Food was nice. If you download the app for the first time you can get free onion rings which is nice, but you cannot combine that with the student discount. It has a loyalty program so every time you visit you get a stamp and you can get free things. Probably we would not recommend this restaurant based on our wait time. Also we wouldn’t go back to this location, but as it is a chain we might go to another one. Also we didn’t love the amount of rosemary on the fries, way tooo much. Burger was a bit small, but nice.

I have been to another branch before and this branch is also quite nice. The buffalo burger is really nice (especially the sauce!) and the crispy garlic fries that come with it. The atmosphere is nice and warm which was good considering the weather but the service was very slow. I think they need to hire more staff here as they seemed overwhelmed.

the burger is pretty good. My friend highly recommends the pickles, saying they’re the best she’s ever tried. The chips are okay, crunchy and not too salty, unlike some other chips. The chicken wings are just mid. Btw they do have student discount

Good place overall, but not wow. Staff were too the point: not too friendly, not absent either. No wait to be seated; no reservation on a Tuesday evening. The burgers were okay... a 7/10 in terms of flavours and garnish. They have a 20% student discount 👍🏻

I went for the Tooley St local special, and I have to say—it’s easily one of the best local Honest Burgers I’ve had to date. The flavors were spot-on, the ingredients tasted fresh, and everything was cooked to perfection. The ambience was just as impressive—relaxed, welcoming, and a perfect spot to wind down the weekend. Whether you’re a regular or trying Honest for the first time, this location is absolutely worth a visit. I’ll definitely be back!

Had a great meal here. We had the burger with the locally produced Nduja and it was delicious. I had the rosemary fries and my husband had the coleslaw both were really good. Our side of onion rings were fabulous as was the lemonade/mint lemonade. Freshly and quickly served we would definitely go there again. Staff very friendly and helpful.

I am writing to express my disappointment regarding an unpleasant experience I had at your restaurant on today at 13:00 .I ordered a vegan burger, but when it arrived, I noticed a hair on the plate. I immediately brought this to the attention of the waitress, who acknowledged the issue and said she would bring a new portion without the hair. While I appreciate the prompt response, this incident raised serious concerns about hygiene and food handling standards in your kitchen. I had come to your restaurant expecting a clean and enjoyable dining experience, and this situation left me feeling quite uncomfortable. I hope this was an isolated incident, but I encourage you to review your kitchen hygiene protocols and staff training to prevent this from happening to other customers. Probably the best Honest Burgers branch I’ve visited! Lovely ambience, great service, and of course, delicious British beef burgers. 🍔 Strongly recommended!

Great service and delicious burgers. My wife has been wanting to try Honest burger for a while so we finally decided to stop in. We were immediately greeted and seated. Within minutes we had ordered and received our food. The burgers are absolutely delicious and I love the rosemary fries. I would definitely return.

Maybe take an order within ten minutes of seating a customer. Or carry on assuming tourists will carry you through...

The service here is very good. The Honest Burger is one of the best I've ever had. Delicious flavors well blended. And, the Honest G&T is a must try. A very casual neighborhood vibe, but felt welcomed as a tourist.
