Honest Greens is easily one of the nicest cafés I visited in Madrid. I loved the beautiful interiors, and their breakfast options were absolutely superb. A great spot for a fresh, satisfying start to the day!

The food is SO GOOD! Quality-price-portions : unmatched. I LOVE HONEST GREENS SO IT’S VERY DISAPPOINTING that the service is not good. Try everything or anything your heart desires and you’ll be satisfied. The line is insane so get the app!! Fresh water selection is amazing Very nice place THE SWEET POTATO FRIES ARE A MUST

We had a wonderful experience in honest green, the food was high quality, fresh and with a good price. Portions were also huge. During our time in Madrid, we went there 2 times one for breakfast and the other for lunch and both were amazing

I had such a wonderful experience at Honest Greens! The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The Tataki was absolutely outstanding – perfectly seared, tender, and bursting with vibrant flavors that felt both light and satisfying. It was the kind of dish that makes you pause after the first bite just to appreciate how good it is. The Chicken with Mustard and Lemon was another highlight. The chicken was juicy and well-seasoned, with the mustard adding a subtle tang and the lemon bringing just the right amount of brightness. It was a perfect balance of comfort and freshness, and something I’d happily order again. Beyond the dishes, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with a staff that clearly cares about the details. Honest Greens truly lives up to its name – honest, wholesome food done exceptionally well. I’ll definitely be coming back soon!

Weather you like healthy food or not, you should at least try one time, the food is high level, and super tasty, has a great location and the overall decoration and vibe of the place is super nice. Everything is fresh, organic and natural. I absolutely loved it!

Great spot in a great location. With a coffee bar located on site next to the restaurant, you can’t beat this. Like other HonestGreens, they have the same fare and all you can drink juice bar. The staff is friendly and bilingual. One of our favorite spots in Madrid!

I love Spanish food, but I just wanted to have a plate of mainly greens and vegetables. Honest Greens provided exactly what I needed. I had the Avocado Supergreen salad bowl with tofu added (there are also meat and fish options). Absolutely delicious! It's a chain of mostly-vegetarian restaurants, but the food and the helpings were excellent. Highly recommended.

Gorgeous building and great staff. Fresh fresh food being prepared in front of you. Salads and variety incredible. Had the sweet potato fries and hummus to share. Both excellent and great value

The food was fresh and selection was terrific. Not many places have greens and salads on the menu so it's a refreshing find: a restaurant dedicated to them. The prices are fairly low and portions generous. The decor is earthy and not fresh & bright making it hard to get a sense of how clean it is. Tons of tables weren't cleared so I wondered if staff had time to clean often.

Good food, but service is lackluster and environment is a bit of a free for all. Drinks were "go to a separate bar" and barista was very much not enjoying his job

Had a great time here during dinner one night, except I got pickpocketed. Lol anything ordered from Honest Greens is always good. I compare it to Tender Greens, Mixt or Sweetgreen here in the states but something about it is way better. High quality ingredients for decent portion sizing and pricing. They have a cafe area and plenty of seating. You order at the counter and they bring you the food usually with a buzzer or number. The workers are nice, they helped me out when I had my situation with a stolen purse. Luckily, I found it in the end... They left it in the bathroom haha.

Holy moly this place is good. They need it in America!! They have various salads and plates that are fresh as HELL. I loved their Latin Lover that I got with piri piri chicken. It's also very coastal Tulum vibes inside which I love. Highly recommend this spot for a healthy lunch or dinner!

Went back today and OMG the avocado super green with a side of herb tofu was AMAZING... the tofu's texture and flavor was so good... had to come back and change my review to 5

Honestly, when I saw this around Lisbon I chuckled and checked on Reddit to see what the deal was, saw that expats love it, and didn't think I would need to stop by a sweet green type place while on vacation. Fast forward to second week of the trip and I'm in Madrid having spent days inhaling pasteis de nata, seafood everything, fried cod, jamon, queso, beer and wine cheaper than water... and .. I get it. I succumbed and got two things for dinner - because here in Madrid, 2 entrees at honest greens is just the price of one salad in NYC. Solid. The ginger goat bowl came with essentially a WHOLE goat cheese log, and the herb lime tofu was divine. Good stuff. It's better than Sweet Greens.

Such a wonderful experience. The food quality and flavor amazingly delicious. The hospitality was friendly and freshing. Cute modern eclectic vibe with great music. This place is an absolute must. Salmon , peri peri , breakfast wraps, chicken and all desserts delicious.

We tried to order food here and they would only take orders through their app. Normally that wouldn't be an issue but for some reason the app thought we were at their Madrid location. We tried everything and couldn't place an order. We asked them for help and they couldn't figure it out. We asked if we could just order food because we were starving...they said they couldn't so we left.

Every night we walked by, we saw a long line out the door. So on our last night in Madrid we decided to give them a try. We got there around 830pm on a Wednesday and the line was just at the door, but it looked busy inside and crowded. You can see all the food being prepared as you make your way to the order counter. We ordered and the process was very easy. And we found some seats. The food arrived quickly. The chicken was great, perfectly grilled and not dry at all. Same for the salmon, very tasty. And we ordered the "infused water" which actually was quite good, we sampled all of the flavors (free refills). If you want a quieter dining experience, find a table downstairs, which we didn't notice until after we were done. Overall a great dining experience.

A huge breath of fresh air visiting this restaurant. I can't eat pork or seafood and I was feeling sick eating potatoes every day. I got the steak chimichuri and tried some of my friends chicken piri piri, and I'm not exaggerating when I say this was one of the best meals I've had in my life. HIGHLY recommend.

Fresh & healthy sound good to me! I heard about Honest Greens in the states & it's been on my list. We ordered at the register@ waited for our food to arrive. The inside looked fun & inviting, the curb was too noisy & busy. We are packing up tonight & wanted a fast, healthy & inexpensive dinner. This chain is all around Madrid and one is a block from our hotel. Unfortunately they seem to be out of a lot of food that we wanted; no gazpacho, fig burrata, burrata tomato salad.... Not sure what they really had but after tying up the line we asked for 2 of the most popular salads that they have. We were on line for :10 and waited :10 more for our food. I went back to the cashier & he found our food to go. He said there were 2 salads, napkins & forks but when we opened the bag in our hotel room we have only one salad. It says ginger summer salad & the dressing was on the side . It was flavorful, healthy & enough for both of us. I'm thrilled there was no plastic nor styrofoam packaging. I just wish they had what we wanted, it didn't take so long & we got what we paid for!

I got the Peri Peri chicken with the salad and grains. The chicken was cooked perfectly and not over sauced. The salad added a nice balance and the grains were honestly probably my favorite part of the meal. A nice and light meal that doesn't leave you feeling too heavy. Also love the earthy ambiance of the place.

I was so excited to find Honest Greens at first-- I'd been craving a healthy salad bowl or something akin to Sweetgreen in the US. After visiting several times and trying different menu items, I've realized that the dining experience is wildly inconsistent. Sometimes I'll het a warm, crispy piece of bread, and other times I'll get a stale end piece. I've had meat that felt slightly undercooked. The service can be slow. If Honest Greens was at its best every time I went, I'd give it 5 stars. However, the lack of consistency puts it at a 3 for me.

It's not your typical Spanish eating place. Rustic seating furniture. Well-lit, free, good Wi-Fi service. The concept is healthy-style food, not your typical heavy Spanish food or deep-fried. There is a good variety of choices from meat, chicken, and fish. Also, for Vegans, they have Tofu choices. At the entrance, you have a menu in English and Spanish. When you order, you are given an electronic localization with a number, cutlery, and napkin in a paper bag. If you order to drink a glass of self-service your flavor, non-sugar-added water, seat yourself, and they will bring you the food. The food is good. My only complaint is that it comes out cold. If you decide later for a coffee and desert it in a separate cashier and area, wide range of drinks and milk types. The deserts are I believe vegan and healthier but very tasty. Must say it is very clean, you can also see the cold preparation area very organized and clean.

This place was really good! I got the tuna tataki with a side of the truffle smashed potatoes- it didn't disappoint. The menu had great options to choose from making my decision very difficult. I believe this healthy modernized theme is the future of restaurants. Would love to see this place appear across the pond in America!!!!

I love the food at Honest Greens but the service at this location was horrific. They could not care less about their individual customers. We were a family of four, so my husband and daughter stood in line while I took my other daughter to sit at a table and wait. Someone came by and said that we were not allowed to sit at a table until we have ordered and that next time to wait until we have. Then they came back and told us that we had to get up and I asked if they wanted us to leave and they said sure. Wow. That shows how little they care about individual customers or maybe they just are biased against those that are not Spanish. I don't know, but very disappointing.

I am on vacation in Madrid,and I was really missing good ole' health food. I wasvery happy to find this place! I had the beef chimichurri and it was delicious. It was nice sliced, medium-rare beef with aside of fresh greens and a piece of toasted bread. Perfect! There was salt,vinager,and olive oil available for the tables. I loved the drinks, too! Nice and light and refreshing. You pay first and then they bring the food to the table. I love that because then I can leave whenever I want, rather than waiting for the waiter. I came around 3:00 and there was a line. The line wasn't that fast,but the food came really quickly.

So so tasty! Such a well balanced meal that keeps you satisfied. I got the salmon with a side of sweet potatoes. So many great options on the menu.

Five plus plus plus stars. Wow. BEST BREAKFAST BURRITO I EVER HAD!!!! They have an amazing salad bar with so many options. You can get a protein bowl, garden bowl, custom bowl, and add sides. Everything is organic, local, many vegan options. I was literally blown away by the place. I've had lots of breakfast burritos (I live in Mexico) and this was by far the best. Also great coffee bar and drinks selection. This is my new go to in Madrid.

Love this spot so much that I went for dinner my last night in Madrid and again for breakfast the next morning before catching my flight. A big variety of healthy, fresh options made using a lot of great ingredients. I had the wild Mediterranean plate with salmon and a side of hummus with crudites for dinner and the eggs benedict for breakfast.

Came to honest greens for the first time while in Madrid. This place absolutely rocks. If I could eat it every day, I would. The prices are super reasonable, there is plenty of seating inside. My girlfriend and I shared a Póke bowl and a falafel salad and split sweet potato fries with a beet sauce. Everything was AMAZING. Seriously cannot find any flaws with this place and cannot recommend highly enough.

If looking for a healthy option beyond your standard tapas, this is a great stop with bowls and veggies! It was recommended by our resident Madrid friend too! Service was quick and there is plenty of indoor seating with plants and good vibes. Prices are a reasonable 8 euro per plate and come with a lot of delicious food and veggies. The sweet potato fries with beet ketchup are SO GOOD! Highly recommend and would love to go back.

Since coming to Madrid, my diet has consisted of bread, meat, and cheese so honest greens was a very welcome change! What I ordered: I started off with a salad bowl- I got the seasonal. Great food! Fast. Hits the spot and feels healthy. Got the Mediterranean bowl with cauliflower rice and chili tofu and it was flavorful warm and overall a great meal! Interior decor is also pretty.

Love this place and wish I could take it with me wherever I go. Bowls: Ginger Goat Cheese Crunch Salad Bowl is by far the best. We got it with charcoal Steak, sweet potatoes and kale (RECOMMENDED). We also tried honest poke, avocado supergreen and tuna tataki plate (generally id go with bowls instead of plates) Recommended: 1) Winter Kale Quinoa 2) Roots and Caviar Lentils 3) Sweet Potato Cucumber Tahini Skip: 1) Hummus 2) Aubergine Umami 3) Tuna Tataki 4) Sourdough bread 5) almond protein balls The lentils are also damn good. Sweet potatoes are nice and the winter kale quinoa is lovely. Skip the hummus (was ok, unless you crave it - you get a good portion of it). Note: you can but you DONT have to add toppings etc what is mentioned in step 2 and 3 - they charge you extra

We love Honest Greens so much and we visited 4 times, 2 times for this location when we were in Spain. We tried cauliflower brownie and salad bowl with tuna. The cauliflower brownie was delicious and creamy as regular brownie with little veggies taste. I loved it so much since I love sweets so much and it might be more healthy. The salad bowl was as good and fresh as market plate which we ordered at other locations and with more veggies but without toast and sauce. We would definitely come back if we visit Spain again. Our suggestion is Honest Greens should consider to have your business in NYC and I believe New Yorkers would love so much.

If you are in Madrid, and have a taste for some healthy greens, you have to visit honest greens!! This place is full of healthy goods, so fresh!! You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. I would HIGHLY recommend the salmon. It is very flavorful and tender. Any of the salads are delicious too. They put so many ingredients in the salads and they all are so delicious. In terms of coffee, I've had iced lattes here and they are pretty good. Highly highly recommend!!

I love healthy food! And definatky thi is one of the chain restaurants IK looooove ! they have everything I like , so yummy ! I hope they will open one in my country as well ! Great service , almost no wait !

This was surprisingly one of my favorite places to eat in Madrid and Barcelona. They have healthy selections when you want to have some greens and something good for you. I tried the steak salad, tuna salad, and piri piri chicken salad. The piri piri was probably my favorite but all 3 were delicious. The thing I loved most of all was the grilled artichokes. It had a strong, smoky taste to it that's hard to explain. Surprisingly it was my favorite thing that I ate during my entire trip to Spain! I'd also suggest trying their flavored waters; they were all good but my favorite was the mojito! I wish we had an Honest Greens in CA!

So so so good! Such a great place for a healthy meal! There are many options to chose from and I'm pretty sure you can't go wrong with any of them. I ordered the pulled pork, it had amazing flavor but was slightly cold. I still loved it. I got a double salad and creamed corn on the side and both were delicious! It was a great deal. Something we weren't aware of: if you just ask for "water" they will give you a tall glass and charge you €2.50 for their H2O bar. We all made this mistake, I wouldn't specifically get the H2O bar again, but it wasn't bad. You need to ask for tap water, and they have a station for water refills. I ended the meal with a chocolate chip cookie from their bakery and it was delicious! My friends got the yummy looking brownie, but they said it did not taste as good as it looked. Overall, great place and can't wait to come back!

Hands down my favorite meal while we visited Madrid this year. So many delicious, fresh options to choose from; with this much healthy fare your toughest choice will be what to try first. I opted for the Supergreen Avocado salad with tuna and the Szechuan Pepper green beans which I can't wait to have again. Seriously, so delicious. I've been thinking about (craving) those green beans for days. My dining partner had the Tuna Plate and he loved his meal too. Their drink selection is a bit pricey (2.50 euro for water) but that's my only knock of this place. Service was excellent, and the food as well. Highly recommended.

I've lived in Madrid for a year and I can honestly say that this is my favorite restaurant. Everything is so fresh and the recipes are AMAZING. The first time I went, I got the chimichurri steak and salad. It was only 7.90 euros and it was mouthwateringly delicious. They have so many Keto options and plant based choices. It's not just healthy either, it's hard to make such healthy food taste so delicious but they aced it. I would recommend Honest Greens to everyone.

Veggies, veggies, VEGGIES!!! Had been eating so many carbs lately (not complaining) that my body just wanted greens & veggies. Had book marked Honest Greens after I walked by it one after noon. You order when you walk in and then they bring it to your table. I got the seasonal salad with added tofu (you can pick small or large portion), side of sweet potatoes (a MUST if you come here!!! So crispy and the beet ketchup, WHOA.), and cold pressed juice. Food was good, staff was nice, tons of seating available. I'd come again!

This is my go-to spot for loading up on veggies!! The menu is updated seasonally, so I know I can always count on finding fresh and delicious veggies here. All of their hummus is truly amazing and the salads are really filling yet still refreshing.

Wow. After reading the reviews I figured I couldn't miss at this restaurant. Wrong. I ordered the grilled beef and it was so bad I actually wondered if it was in fact beef at all. I have had stale bubble gum that was better. I gave Honest Greens two stars instead of one because the salad and bread that came with the shoe leather was very good, and the staff was friendly and efficient. If you are looking to eat beef this restaurant is a hard pass.

The best healthy food in Madrid and barcelona hands down. Great menu, quick service, and I love the atmosphere. A weekly staple because it's so easy, convenient and always good.

As a celiac living in Madrid this is my favorite restaurant. All the workers are so nice and the food is consistently amazing. I've never seen a kitchen operate so efficiently and quickly without looking chaotic. 10/10 stars from me!

Great place. I often go to the one on Castellana but happen to pass this one last week and decided to have a light lunch. Like the other branch they have fresh and healthy food and good for lunch. Was lucky to walk in at 1pm on Sunday as by 1.30pm the place was already crowded. You gotta try the sweet potatoes.

I was very surprised to find this place in madrid, really nice interior, all plant based and Greattttt coffee ( and they use Oatly milk). I had vegan yogurt bowl, flat white and avocado on toast and the portions were generous. I really really enjoyed my yogurt especially that its really hard to find vegan yogurt bowl and the coffee was greatttttr. They also do acai, different types of vegan cakes and pancakes and all looks so yummm.

This place is kinda chaotic but only because so many people come to enjoy the amazing food. The line is to order and the food will usually come quickly after ordering. So many amazing variations. Madrid needs more restaurants like this!

It is so hard to find healthy food while traveling and specially in Spain. Don't get me wrong, I love paella, montaditos, jamón, cheese and the ocassional bravas but eating that every day is an issue. In a week, I ate at Honest Greens 4-5 times. Can't say many places in California (known for healthy options) have this quality. The food is fresh, nutritious and tasty. A colorful plate that makes you feel as if you are on a lunch date with nature. The portions are generous and the unlimited refill flavored water refreshing. The staff is friendly and efficient, specially at finding your table. I've tried one of their Barcelona locations too and I was equally impressed by the entire operation. Congrats to the founders, excellent job so far.
