Honest Greens Review - Chueca - Madrid - The Infatuation

"Your trip has been one big patatas bravas tour around the city and now you’re left hunting for salads much like the way Tom hunts Jerry. Head to Honest Greens for lunch at one of their four locations around the city. This fast casual spot has salads, grain bowls, and protein platters that you can pair with plant-based sides - all made with locally sourced ingredients and seasonal produce. Their whole-roasted cauliflower with lemon yogurt sauce might just make you feel like you’re ready for more patatas bravas." - Cristina Shipe

For delicious, healthy food in a relaxed, adorable setting, you must visit this place! We had the roasted cauliflower to share, the Mediterranean bowl, and Peri Peri chicken.. All so delicious, beautiful, and interesting flavors. You must stop by the coffee section and pick up one of the vegan desserts. The vegan brownie was insane!

We stumbled upon this amazing café and were instantly captivated by its charm. From the moment you walk in, the rich aroma of coffee fills the air, and the bright, cozy interior with soft music creates a warm, relaxing atmosphere! The café focuses on healthy, wholesome food, and the open kitchen lets you see each dish being freshly prepared. We tried the Açai bowl and pancakes for breakfast, both were absolutely delicious, letting you taste the natural flavors of every ingredient!!! It’s such a pity we couldn’t stay for lunch due to our schedule, as everything on the menu looked so thoughtfully prepared and mouthwatering. Hopefully, we’ll get to come back and try it next time!🥰

I put 3 for service just because staff was in the rash to explain how the restaurant concept works. When I came, 2 waiters were talking in between themselves, seeing me standing next to them, but not paying attention to welcome me, just continued talking. They finally left so I had to call another one to ask him is it ok to eat here... Apart from this, food is nice and the ambience is cozy

This place was super healthy and solid overall. It reminded me of something you’d find in LA, and I’m honestly surprised it hasn’t opened there yet. Everyone was talking about how life-changing it was, so my expectations were high. The food was clean and fresh, but at the end of the day it was just salmon, salad, and vegetables. Still really good, just not mind-blowing. The sweet potato fries were also good but again nothing crazy. The chocolate banana cake was a nice touch. I liked it as someone who doesn't like super sweet desserts but my sister hated it because it was pretty bland. I also have to add that you order in the front and then the food comes to you after that. But ordering was pretty difficult in english, we struggled communicating with the cashier. I think it was getting a little frustrating, but we figured it out at the end. I recommend knowing exactly what you want before you go to order if you do not speak Portuguese. If I were studying abroad in Lisbon, I’d probably come here all the time. Great spot for a reset meal.

Amazing food. Superb choice. Cannot recommend enough. Came here twice this week and had delicious salads and veggie bowls. Lots of options and friendly people 😃 Especially recommended for vegetarians and vegans 🌱

Every time we come to Lisbon, we seek out the nearest honest greens. It’s such a nice balance after eating traditional Portuguese food of just meat, potatoes, and rice. I love how everything is fresh and light. They also have an incredible selection of vegetarian and vegan options.I personally love the hummus and the sweet potato fries. I had some sort of chocolate banana cake that was also delicious. And you can’t beat their fruited waters!

I can’t say enough great things about this place. As implied in the name, the food here is very fresh and healthy. We had the falafels with tahini, an avocado salad, and bread and hummus, and EVERYTHING was fresh and light on the digestion. I also had the POWER cold pressed drink, which was tasty and refreshing. You order the food at the counter, and they serve it to you when it’s ready. It’s especially welcome for those who don’t want to sit and wait for service staff to take your order, come back 15 minutes later, wait for the check, etc. It’s great food, simply served. They also have a coffee shop with some pastries. The dining room was big and well air conditioned. They had a nice soundtrack playing as well. We’re only in Lisbon for 3 nights, but we’ll be returning here at least one more time for another nice meal. Highly recommend!

A perfect spot to start the day. Breakfast is fresh, tasty and very affordable, great value for the quality. The outdoor seating area is bright and inviting, perfect for enjoying the morning. You order at the counter and the friendly staff brings the food to your table. Simple, quick and the ideal way to kick off a day in Portugal
