My husband and I decided to try this restaurant for the first time. While the atmosphere and service were decent, there were several issues that left us disappointed, especially considering the price.
Our server was polite but mentioned at the end that he was new. At a restaurant with such high prices, I would expect either a training tag for new employees or supervision to ensure the correct information is being provided to customers. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case.
We ordered one of the guided selections from the menu that showed three lamb chops and three other types of meat, priced at $47.50 per person, with a minimum of two people required to order. Based on the menu, we expected to receive individual servings of three lamb chops and three other meats each. However, we were served six lamb chops total, but only three types of meat instead of four. When we asked about this, our server explained that one of the meats was unavailable, so they replaced it with more lamb chops. It would have been nice to be informed of this at the beginning, rather than being surprised at the end.
Additionally, at the start of the meal, we were given a small bowl of marinated beef that was left on our table for about half an hour before someone came by and removed it without any explanation. We found this rude and confusing, as no one clarified why it was taken away.
In the end, for nearly $100, the portion sizes and variety were very disappointing. This is not the kind of service or quality you expect for that price, especially when nearby Korean BBQ spots offer better food and service for $25 less.
Unfortunately, we won’t be returning to this restaurant, and I’d recommend considering other options nearby for better value and experience.
