Honest Mary's

My first time there and it was soooo good!!!! I’m pregnant and have been trying to find some great, healthy food places and this one definitely made it on my list! I love a fresh and nutritious meal that doesn’t weigh me down and this was definitely the perfect spot for that! The food was great and the employees were really helpful and friendly and also patient as I asked a whole bunch of questions and tried a few things. I made a “build your own kind of bowl while my fiancé got the poké bowl” He loved the tuna poke bowl!

Honest Mary’s is so delicious! They offer healthy options to build your own bowl or choose one of their menu bowls! Definitely one of my favorite spots to eat lunch or dinner!

I loved the food. Tastes were spot on. Being Celiac, I had zero issues! Only thing I would appreciate is a bit more of a cozy and quiet atmosphere. However, I've been searching since I moved here 4 years ago for healthy food that I can eat. This is my definite go to place now!!

Great salad/bowl bar! The portion is enough to make 2 meals out of one serving. The ingredients are fresh and good quality, the place looks clean and nice. I wish it was closer to home, but its worth driving !

Modern restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. Ordered the seasonal ponzu winter bowl with baked tofu and it was tasty. This place reminds me of an upgraded version of CAVA which is a few doors down for this restaurant. They give you an ample amount of food for the money you are paying. The quality of the food in my opinion is 100% better than other establishments in the area serving similar healthy foods. The plus is that if you have gluten free friendship, this is a good place to bring them. Definitely will be stopping by this place for food more often!

This was my first experience at Honest Mary’s and it definitely won’t be the last. Very impressed with their tasty vegan options. They’ll whip you up a plate fast. Whoever was working there last night, I love your personality girl. Thanks for the awesome customer service. The coloring pages for kiddos are a bonus for learning how to eat healthy. Thanks!

I have been trying to get here to give it a try for quite a while and today was the day!!! We had just finished our swimming exercise class at the YMCA and decided to do a to go order so we could try it. It was my granddaughter and I. We were not able to order through the Yelp app, but when we got on the website, ordering for pick up was very easy. They offer several bowls that are pre-crafted with all the ingredients listed and a suggested dressing, which they always put in a separate cup on the side or in this case actually within the bowl. I love that so if you end up not necessarily want the dressing or not it's very easy not to use it. My granddaughter chose the Mediterranean style bowl and added grilled chicken. She said it was delicious. I had the Marketplace bowl which is under the build your own section of the menu. You choose your base and you choose a couple different toppings and three different additional options along with dressing and of course, for extra cash you can get extra anything that you want that they offer on the menu. My bowl consisted of sauté kale, basmati, rice, brussels sprouts, roasted beets, and roasted pumpkin, spice, butternut squash. It was also delicious!!! There was a slight faux pas when we went inside to grab our to go order. It was MIA even though it was just past the time it was due to be ready. We asked for assistance, and the manager determined that the bowls had absolutely been made and placed over in the Pick Up section and someone else must have picked up our order by mistake. He offered to make it "Johnny on the spot" which he did, we very much appreciated this and their attention to taking this matter, and solving the problem immediately! Unfortunately, my granddaughter did not get his name or I would mention him here, but please be advised the food is fabulous, delicious and healthy and the Customer Service is excellent Can't wait to go back!!!

The food is really tasty although I wish they would have chicken breasts as an option for chicken instead of the much fattier thighs. My only gripe here is there is this male worker who is so annoying. He comes out of the back often whistling really loud and singing. I'm sure he's happy and that's great but it's annoying to listen to when trying to eat or order. And whenever they're cooking on the grill which is right by the ordering area, it is SO LOUD with the steam / chicken cooking. Something must be off with the acoustics of the space.

HM continues to be one of my very favorite places for lunch in Cedar Park. The bowls are always fresh and excellent and tasty. For the quality of the ingredients I think they are fairly priced. The store itself is bright and upscale and the people who work here are generally very kind. I almost always make my own bowl with black forbidden rice and ahi poke, but I tried their limited time winter bowl today and it hit the spot on a cold day. The two things keeping this from being five stars is that they don't have Kosmic kombucha on tap like their other locations, and they don't have spoons, which is kind of strange for a bowl place.

If you love a bowl of greens + grains, then add Honest Mary's into your rotation and give them a try! I had the Smoky Poblano (not at all smoky though) because I'm a sucker for pickled onions and goat cheese. The food was great and the staff were kind. I will definitely be back!

Wooooooow! Who knew health conscious bowls could be so delicious? I finally stopped into this location yesterday as this was my health conscious day (because today, "let them eat cake..or in my case, let me eat doughnuts). When stepping into the location, everything is clean with non-busy, monochromatic decor. The menu is straight forward with the offerings afforded here. Consumers can also select to customize their bowls as opposed to purchasing a pre-set bowl off of the menu, which is what I elected to do. The bowl (mainly consisting of sides) inculded French green lentils, black beans, roasted carrots with coriander, roasted beets, charred broccoli with sesame, topped with avocado with poblano sauce. I love how all the vibrant colors play off one another--the bright beets, the vivid orange carrots, and the pale green avocado. But even more than how these ingredients look together, I love how they taste. The avocado is rich and creamy, the root veggies are sweet and earthy, and the broccoli adds a peppery, refreshing kick. Together, they make a stunning side dish that would be perfect for a special occasion brunch or dinner (or even a regular one, for that matter!). #bewellcentraltexas #supportlocal

This place is amazing. The food was so fresh and wholesome. I am vegetarian and I was so thrilled with the tastes of the ingredients in the bowl I got. I will be back!

While I really like Honest Mary's overall, I do need to caution everyone to avoid adding protein! I would have said it was a coincidence if I had a bout of stomach upset once after eating Honest Mary's; however, when it hit my wife twice, we decided it might be a good idea to avoid adding protein in the future. I've eaten there 3 times since without adding protein, and I've been perfectly happy and healthy. The service is great. The feel is that of an upscale fast food restaurant. Tables don't always get cleaned, but that's not uncommon at other such establishments. I really wish I could go with more than 3 stars, but I only went back after three negative experiences because a friend made the plans. I was happy I figured out to just avoid protein there, and still they have a ways to go.

Our favorite "fast food" for healthy options if we need to get food in a rush. The lemon basil chicken was my favorite! I love the forbidden rice and build your own chicken bowls as well. So many options - better quality than Chipotle and other similar options.

Usually when I go to places where you can make your own bowl, there's only really one signature item that calls out to me, or I end up just building my own. But literally every pre-made bowl sounded so good, I wanted to try all of them. The ingredients taste pretty fresh and I love all of their options. It's healthy but the delicious kind of healthy. And they employees are really good about letting you make substitutions. I do wish the build your own came with more than two options each though.

Feel like the noise levels were low bc there was 2 other tables taken up only , the lady upfront was not the most attentive person bc I asked her questions and she didn't fully explain to me why I couldn't do sub. For allergies reasons, not smiling or even a Hello or hi verbal, was feeling like she was ready to go home , didn't like how salty the mushroom and quinoa was , sweet potato was barely warm and the brussels sprouts had no seasoning, but not too oily, which made it good barely grilled a little bit of brownish tan color on them. I have the beats as a side also and being a vegan because I did not get protein. I asked if I can substitute one of the sides which would've been potatoes for me personally, but the lady said no because I already got three choices because that's the rules which made it very Real to think about it because if I'm allergic to something and you can't substitute it that really gives me a way not to come back because it's limiting me of the choices. I can't have because of the food allergies I feel that the place is very clean, environmentally friendly atmosphere And it has a room for improvement and decorative, and also training the staff to be more polite and just give you a warm smile I don't think that's really a big job investment because you should be able to love your job and when I asked the lady who took my order a few questions about the place and the noise control and the food and menu details I noticed that she knew what she was talking about mostly and it's interesting that I asked her specific questions about the place and that I feel that she needs a little bit more knowledge about the food menu because I asked her about the specific ingredients in the dressing and so I was asking if she was able to look in a bag for me to see the ingredients that they use or if it was house made, and if I could able to get a hold of the owners at that point for allergy, friendly talk.

Honest Mary's is our once-a-week lunch spot as we love their signature bowls. My go-to is the Aloha Poke with extra Poke. The pickled jalapenos and basmati rice take this over the top. This bowl is better than other Poke establishments in the area IMHO. I'm usually good for the rest of the day and only need a light snack for dinner. Plus one's go-to is their Sedona Lime with grilled chicken. The basmati rice and roasted sweet potatoes are a great compliment to this bowl. We both enjoy the freshness of their bowls and enjoy healthy eating. I'm looking forward to also trying their sipping broths. Pro tip: Order for pickup as we have never had to wait in line to retrieve our order.

We took different salads and each one was very yum. The place was clean. Staff were friendly and patient. Definitely a must go for clean food lovers. Good tofu choices for vegetarian/ vegans.

Cute little place to get bowls with goodness! They have a variety of ingredients to choose from for protein, grains and toppings/sides. Love the ambiance and design, very boho and modern. All their ingredients are free of artificial ingredients and their meat is antibiotic and harmone free! No refined sugars, service was on point and the food tastes fresher compared to few other build your bowl places we have been. The creamy poblano and spicy peanut sauces are great. Great place to get a healthy build your bowl lunch or dinner .

I've been here twice now, first time as a pick-up order and then as dine-in. I love having another healthy, customizable bowl option to choose from! You can only eat so much Cava before getting bored of Mediterranean flavors. Honest Mary's has a great variety of protein options (including poke!) Pros: + Variety of proteins + Cooked vegetables (especially nice if you have a sensitive digestive system) + Fresh + Workers are helpful and I even saw them offer someone a sample Cons: - Tables were not very clean (dine-in) - Portion sizes are inconsistent !! If they could improve on these two things, I would give them a 5/5! Either way, I'll still be coming back for more.

Visited at least 4-5 times in the last 2 months. Staff is always friendly and helpful with any questions I've had. They make great suggestions when I do a build your own bowl and ask what sauce would pair best with my selections. The menu combinations always taste great too! Food safety is huge for me (as a QSR manager) and they have safe practices so I appreciate that. The food is delicious and makes you feel good after you've eaten it. This is such a treat for when I don't want to cook a bunch of different things to make a bowl at home. It's very clean and cute inside and has a relaxing atmosphere. I love coming here with my boyfriend after the gym. Will update with photos next time

Ordered the Mediterranean Harissa bowl with chicken for an extra charge. While very few of the flavors were reminiscent of Mediterranean influences in my opinion, it was very fresh and totally filling, which I was surprised by! I personally think it worked being that all the ingredients are some of my favorites... beets, feta cheese, corn , etc. This is the first time I've visited Honest Mary's and the ordering process is very similar to Chipotle/Chilantro since it's a fast casual restaurant. This location is brand new in Cedar Park, and I'm looking forward to trying more of their bowls in the future!

This is for all of u healthy food eaters. Never had them so I decided to give them a try their menu consist of rice bowls, with everything in it, beets, lentile, tofu, avacado and quinoa with Wasabi sauce. I tried it ,I conquered it. The staff were friendly and the food is reasonable priced.

While the food was absolutely delicious and had different options to provide, my issue is staff. Both young ladies working had ZERO personality and both didn't seem very knowledgeable on the menu. When we asked about a bowl the statement was I'm not allowed to have it so I don't know. Didn't give me warm fuzzies about eating here. That being said we gave it a try and it was very good. Hopefully they can fix staff, find people with a bit more smiles and personality!

I enjoyed the food at Honest Mary's. The poblano bowl was fresh and delicious. Especially the goat cheese and pickled onions together but my bowl seemed pretty light and I'm still hungry... Every single table in the restaurant was dirty and the employees were just standing around. We had to ask someone to clean off a table for us. The party next to us grabbed the spray bottle themselves and started cleaning a table. What the heck!

Honest Mary's is the perfect clean eating cafe style restaurant. There are a lot of option of mix-ins for your bowl but also some great standard dishes on their menu. A perfect spot to enjoy a fancy rice bowl, and feel good afterwards!

The first and only restaurant I've experienced that actually manicures the spinach! (Takes off the stems) Based on one single takeout order, this is a wonderful place! No scrap of plastic anywhere, delicious, fresh vegetables and a lovely sauce. I'm a fan!!

Honestly the best Honest Mary's has quickly become the go-to for fresh, healthy, and delicious food. Whether I'm right on time or budget, the bang for your buck at Honest Mary's keeps me coming back again and again (thankfully: you can't come here too much!).

I met a friend here for lunch. I have been wanting to try this place and with a new year started, this sounded like a healthy option. I stood there for a while looking at the menu and waiting for my friend. I was kind of surprised that nobody asked if I needed help or anything as I did have a couple questions. I ended up ordering the Mediterranean bowl they had and substituted the beets for something else. I was glad they showed substitutions even though it's only in the same category. I actually wanted something from the "cheaper" section but I had to select something from the more expensive list. Oh well! Overall, I thought the flavors were really good and they give you a good portion size. The only other thing I was hoping to see was a calorie count on the items. I'm guessing they have it somewhere but it wasn't visible.

The cauliflower is addicting! Fresh, healthy food. Love the fresh cucumber drink available at the self-serve counter!

I've been going to Honest Mary's for almost two months now and they started having Daily Specials. Specifically on Thursday, you can "Share the Love" and receive 25% off and I've been ordering with friends or family or sometimes by myself an extra bowl to bring to my brother, mom, dad or girlfriend. But tonight I was made to feel like I was a criminal because I didn't have another person present with me asking for the advertised discount. While the food is healthy and good, customer service needs to be improved. On Thursday, it says honor system when purchasing two bowls. I also take my kids on Tuesday to eat at Honest Mary's and Kids Eat Free and I always have my kids to take advantage of that offering. It specifically says on Tuesday that "everyone must be present". Thursday's deal does not have this condition or say this. I'm disappointed in the way the staff treated me and only gave me the discount after pointing this out and complaining that it doesn't say that everyone must be present, or else why even mention the honor system? I've been promoting Honest Mary's as a healthy alternative to fast food since I've discovered them to my family, friends and co-workers, but I don't think I will any more. Maybe Honest Mary's isn't that honest when posting specials????

Decent food, but god awful pricing. Ended up spending 40 dollars for 2 bowls and 2 drinks with NO extra toppings or add-ins. I was surprised with the variety of toppings they offered, but when I tried to get more than 2, the server said it's $2 extra PER TOPPING. Not to mention the minuscule amount they put. Aside from the prices, the seating area and vibe of the store is very calming and minimal. I'll just stick with Cava though.

WOW WOAH WEE WOW, how is it that Honest Mary's hasn't grown to 100 locations around the Austin area?? This place is amazing! Love the variety of choices and customizations that can be made, although that Mediterranean Harissa bowl really needs zero mods....like Zues himself transported that Feta all the way from Greece. And then there's the ambiance. Whoever chose their music and does photography deserves the highest of sixes, because a high five just ain't enough. Will be trekking up from downtown ATX as this place is worth the commute

The food is FAB!!! Whether delivered, pickup, or in store, I haven't had a bad dish yet! My favorite right now is Smoky Pablano Signature Bowl and I add chicken. (chef's kiss) Always fresh and taste is out of this world. No pics today unless you want a pic of my empty bowl.

The food is delicious and the restaurant is clean and cute. Prices are a bit high especially if you add more toppings but it has good flavor and seems healthy lol. Would come back again!

Very nice, quiet place. And the natural, healthy food was great. First time trying an Honest Mary's, now realize there are more in the area; hope the others are as good as this one (Cedar Park).

Fresh, fast, friendly! What more can you ask for. My 11 year old enjoyed her bowl as much as us 2 adults did. Creative mixtures and great sauces. We will be back!

Healthy alternative when need a quick meal. Food is good quality and very tasty. I'm happy they have a location in Cedar park. Placing order ahead of time on yelp worked very well!

This place has great food, but the prices are just crazy to me. I ordered a poke bowl and asked if I could add cilantro, and they said it would be $1 for cilantro! I'll keep going back to this place because of the quality food, but be prepared to spend at least $30 for 2 people.

Food is yummy! The options are nice healthy and filling. service is great, very welcoming and kind environment, I love the earth tones and neutral color scheme! Glad I gave it a try, a pleasant experience!

Super nice and friendly staff! Bowl was also delicious! Also I asked a million questions on what each item was but the girl making my bowl wasn't annoyed at all. Only trouble I had was the water machine ahaha but even that a girl helped me out. Girls making my bowl were nice and so was the cashier!

Service was bad- no one smiles. The beef was tough and overall expensive for what it was. Very loud environment- It's not Cava... do better.

Really disappointed in the service I received here. My husband and I have been going about every week and a half since they opened. On September 15, I was halfway through with my bowl that I picked up at the restaurant, and I noticed a hair in it. I called to let a manager know, and she offered me half off of the bowl. It only equated to about nine dollars, which was fine. Here we are 11 days later, and I haven't seen the refund. I've called three times and left a message on their automated machine. Nothing. Looks like I'll be taking my business elsewhere.

Delicious!! I wish I took a picture of my bowl. Hubby and I shared a build your own bowl with Forbidden Rice, Chicken, beets, broccoli, sweet potatoes, cucumber salad and feta with lemon garlic sauce. Mwah (chef's kiss). So yummy!!! We will be back, again. We initially tried a bowl that was created for us through 2g2g, I'm so glad we did. We only wish that it was closer to our house. Well done y'all. I'm actually craving another bowl.

The food was great. However, the atmosphere was lacking. The young ladies at the counter could be a little more friendly. Especially to somebody who's brand new. Additionally, the prices were a little high for what you got.

Honest Mary's is for you if you are looking for a healthy and quick food option while passing through Cedar Park. Honest Mary's continues to blow me away as someone who has previously eaten at Sweetgreen and other healthy food options in and around Central Texas. Not only was the food 10/10, but the staff was very hospitable, and the inside of the restaurant was excellent. I found out about this location from one of their IG stories and am glad I decided to give it a try. 100% will be going back the next time I'm in Cedar Park.
