My first visit to Honey Hill Cafe was a good one, and I don't even drink coffee!
Located smack dab in the middle of Park Hill, this place has such a good feel. Greeted warmly by the staff, we found a large eating space with a combination of counter spots, a community table, 2 and 4-tops, and all were filled with a vibrant group of customers on a rainy weekend day. We ultimately chose the middle of the community table, and enjoyed meeting the nearby plant named Lola! (Hint: they're all named!)
Open 7 AM-5 PM Monday through Sunday, Honey Hill features breakfast from 7-2 and also has lunch options from 1130AM-3 PM. Deep in its core, this family-owned business is a coffee/tea shop and they seemed to have a lot of variety. They feature local coffee brands and offer indoor and outdoor seating. In addition, they have great WiFi, salute local artists on their walls, have the cleanest and hippest gender-neutral restrooms I can remember, and their sustainable practices are terrific. They also featured post-it notes with clever and heart-felt comments all over one of the windows, a superb way for people to have a voice!
They offer sandwiches, pastries, paninis, and salads, but I was thrilled with my order, a burrito with eggs, potatoes, and luscious spicy Green chiles in a delicious tortilla. It was fantastic!
My Way Significant Other enjoyed her turkey panini, saying it was tasty and made to perfection.
Absolutely returning to this outstanding neighborhood option, and can't wait to explore other options, although that burrito might have a return order!
