Honey Plus Karaoke

My sister and I went a few weeks ago and it was REALLY fun. Got to sing so many songs in English, Korean, and Japanese. There were Chinese songs too but we weren’t that confident. There are selections for decades, we even got super nestolgic thanks to Avril Lavigne and Big Bang. The owner was really nice and explained everything really well. Definitely going again. It was also a workout jumping around like that. You can't hear anything from inside, too so it really feel private. Would recommend for a fun activity with friends or family who like to hold concerts in the car.

The staff were super sweet and welcoming! We had difficulty navigating the remote/pad for music but we also weren't paying attention when she explained it 😂 There is a large selection of songs including the lately famous Kpop Demon Hunters. They also have soju, snacks, etc. Which can make the evening fun. There are little tambourines you can shake when your friends are singing. Overall, we had a nice time here. I believe the pricing is based on time rather than group number, so it's a good price!

Honey Pig is my favorite KBBQ spot. They are quick, accommodating to large groups and the food can’t be beat. The garlic sauce is so good and we have tried to recreate it but it never hits the same. 10/10 would buy a bottle. This is ALWAYS our spot for birthday dinners.

Great place with clean, private karaoke rooms, wonderful food/drinks and amazing service!! The new owner is very friendly, kind and helpful. I would highly recommend coming here to anyone who wants to have a fun night with friends!

This place is the best! I’ve been to karaoke in DC, Maryland and Virginia and nobody matches the vibe that HoneyPlus does. The snacks, drinks and food all smack. The speakers bang and the mics have the perfect amount of autotune on them. Highly recommend karaoke at HoneyPlus!

amazing experience! we went with a large party and the staff was incredibly helpful and kind, even gave us an extra 20 minutes for free. felt like they genuinely cared about us having a good time. everything was better than we expected, so fun :) we’ll definitely be coming back! it wasn’t my first time, but it was for the rest of my family, and they loved it too.

I had a really fun time here with my brother and friend. The space was very welcoming and spacious. They had a lot of song choices including songs from America, Korea, and other countries as well. The service and food were also amazing. I would highly recommend anyone come here for a good time! I will for sure be back again!

I've been frequenting this place for a while now and with recent management changes, WOW!! The owner was so friendly and attentive throughout our stay. There are new remotes that are now labeled with English translations which makes song selection much easier to navigate, and the owner also gave us a step-by-step of how to navigate the karaoke machine. Room was clean and spacious, menu prices and hour rates were very reasonable and the song selection is kept very up to date. The tambourines in the room are a nice touch. This is by far the best karaoke place in the greater Baltimore area. Highly highly recommend!

Visited Honey Plus Karaoke on Friday with friends and had a fantastic time! The room rates are displayed online and also at the front desk. The staff were friendly and asked for our ID's upon arrival. We were able to reserve a private room and even get our drinks right away to take into the karaoke room with us. One of the staff members gave us the rundown of how to use the karaoke machine, and we then we were singing the night away! There's a lot of different songs, but there were a few old classics we wanted that sadly weren't in the catalogue (ex: Before He Cheats by Carrie Underwood). However, they do add newer songs as some of the recent top chart songs were in the catalogue! To add more time, we went to the front and let them know to add time to our room. There is a timer in the corner of the karaoke screens that lets you know how many minutes you have left. The establishment was very clean, including the bathrooms! Once we were done, we went back to the front to close out our tab. Overall, we had a great visit and are already planning our next karaoke night!

Most of the time that I do these karaoke rooms it's with a big group of people. I wanted to go just my husband and I and Honey Plus seemed like a great option for this! They are priced pretty reasonably, especially compared to locations in DC. They have drinks and food as well. We got some drinks. They don't have tons of options though. The guy at the front was very nice and helpful. For the karaoke their system was a little finicky. There was no simple way to end a song and go to the next one in the queue. It would erase all songs in the queue if you wanted to skip. I also like where there is some background singing so I know if I am singing it right or not. It seemed like they had the cheaper versions of the karaoke songs then I have seen at other karaoke places. Some have the music videos on the screen too for instance where this just shows the lyrics and one of those screensavers that used to be popular in the 90s and early 2000s that would move to the music. Regardless of that still come check them out. Karaoke is so fun!

Fun times for a birthday celebration post dinner. Service was great, English song selection was decent. Room was clean, cozy and allowed for a comfortable place to belt out tunes. The manager was attentive and took a few minutes to teach us how to use the device so we were able to quickly get into our songs. Will come again for sure.

Such a fun time in your own karaoke room! Lots of song selections in English and Korean! The front staff was very friendly and mic covers were provided to provide a sage and inviting atmosphere. We did one hour, with six of us... could have easily stayed two!

If you're looking for a great place to sing your heart out with a group of friends, then this is your place! They offer private rooms you can rent by the hour at a reasonable price and a great selection of songs! We arrived shortly after they opened at 5pm and there were already a good amount of rooms occupied, so I definitely recommend arriving early like we did. It's BYOB and you can bring your own food. However, they do add a 10% service charge if you bring alcohol. We had a great time and will definitely be back!

Honey Plus Karaoke is a KTV lounge boasting clean and spacious private karaoke rooms with decent booths that are functional, though not the softest. They offer an extensive song selection, and the pricing is fair, though food and drink are limited. We're repeat customers here, and Honey Plus Karaoke is perfect for gathering with friends after dinner nearby.

i've been coming here for a while and I can tell management has changed recently. the front has been upgraded with racks of snacks and drinks now have a cool carrier. Introductions to the machine are clear and there is now a remote with all english which is sooo much more convenient. Service is quick if there are issues or questions. This karaoke spot has the best vibes in ellicott city

First time I have come to this establishment with my partner. The outside of the place looks very cute and we noticed not only do they have a karaoke but a restaurant as well! The selection of songs were limited for "American" music which is understandable for an Asian karaoke spot. Still we were very surprised they had metal like Korn! We had so much fun in an hour they give you but you can request more if you'll like. An hour was enough for us though it was super late. There's also food and drinks if you will like to try it out.

Was at a birthday party here, workers were super accommodating and understanding. Very helpful as well. Great aesthetic and beautiful atmosphere. Food was great, the Korean fried chicken was my favorite. Great song selection and speakers were great. Will definitely going again.

This place is anti-Semitic. I had planned to have a small birthday party for my 12 year old there. Her & 4 friends. We were going to go early in order to avoid taking up prime time space. All over Yelp are pictures of people bringing in food and drink. We had planned to order some food, but part of our party is kosher. I needed to bring in some food for those girls & a birthday cake. We would have ordered food from Honey Plus as well. When I called to confirm, I explained I would need to bring in some food for those particular kids. They refused. I tried to explain these girls kept kosher and could not eat the food at Honey Plus. They refused. I asked if they knew what kosher was. They said they did not. I tried to explain but they talked over me. I asked to be allowed to explain. I said it was religious dietary rules. They said that they did not have to accommodate anyone from a different religion. We could go elsewhere. So now, we've made plans to go elsewhere. Come on dude. These were 12 year old girls. They just wanted to Karaoke for 1.5 hours at 5:30pm. It would've cost you NOTHING to allow us to bring in some kosher pizza so those girls wouldn't go hungry. RUDE. RUDE. RUDE.

Great spot for a night out with a group of friends. We came here on a Saturday night with a group of 11 people and were able to get one of the private rooms for 2 hours. This place is BYOB, so we ended up bringing some coolers with drinks in it. They do charge a 10% service charge to bring alcohol, but I thought that was pretty reasonable. The private karaoke rooms are only 80$ an hour, so if you have a group of 10-20 people it's really not that expensive for a fun night out. They sell some snacks at the front, but don't have food, so I suggest eating beforehand or bringing some food in with you. I would never sing karaoke in a place with a bunch of strangers, so I really enjoyed coming here to belt out some songs. The room was very spacious with plenty of seating and table space for us. There were also 4 microphones ( 2 of which were wireless), tambourines, and speakers. The only disappointing thing was that there were a bunch of well known/popular songs that we wanted to sing that weren't on the list as an option. We will definitely be coming back here again.

Good service and probably great if you are with a big group, but we tend to go norabaeng with just the two of us. This is obviously one of the newer karaoke room set ups and the equipment is in good condition. In terms of general enjoyment for our $35/hr I still prefer Family Music Studios for a couple of reasons. First, Honey Plus adds a 15% service charge, no matter your group size. Second, they are missing many songs that we like to sing or have just one song by an artist. Lastly, they don't have paper books and the searching is a bit cumbersome since you can't skim a category. For me this almost puts them below a place like Round One in Towson Mall.

I'd give this place zero stars if I could, because the manager would not allow even a little bit of outside food to accommodate kosher guests for a 12 year old's birthday party. Even after my partner and I tried to reason with him that we would order extra food to compensate, he still wouldn't budge. Thank you for screwing up plans for a bunch of 12 year old girls who wouldn't even take up prime time space in your establishment.

TIP: Go early or call ahead to check availability on rooms. Enjoy a chill time with family or friends exercising your lungs with some karaoke. We love karaoke and typically do if at a relative's, however, we thought we'd check out Honey Plus. The rooms were all full so we added our name to the wait list. We grabbed some desert and walked around nearby which didn't seem long when we got a call (about 40 minutes or so later) saying our room will be available soon. There is a good menu to eat while you enjoy singing. There is a BYOB rule with a 10% service charge which is reasonable in my opinion. The rooms are clean and the gentleman gave us a quick introduction on how to work the machine since it was our first time. The rooms have a cool vibe (see photos). There is a minimum of an hour use for the room. We did two hours. We enjoyed it and plan to go back for more with a larger group and longer timeframe. You'll have a great time and laugh about the scores after each song sang. I came here with 2 of my best friends for karaoke after having kbbq next door on the Christmas weekend. They just opened and the staff was very friendly. They had spacious rooms, big screens, and powerful sound system, but the soundproofing could be better. I could hear my friend singing from the front desk even with the room door closed. Being very new, they also have the most recent songs in their karaoke system. We didn't get much to snack on, only some drinks and fried squid, which were decent. It is definitely not a spot to have a full meal. The price was also very reasonable.

An excellent Karaoke spot set in a great location. Honey Plus Karaoke is a contender for best Karaoke spot in Maryland. From it's clean and spacious rooms, to its fair pricing, and BYOB policy, there is a lot to love about Honey Plus. A few small tweaks would make Honey Plus Karaoke my automatic go-to for singing with friends. First of all, there is no reservation policy. It's all first-come, first-serve. This is fine if you're with a small group of friends on an off day, but if you plan on a large gathering on a Friday or Saturday night, be warned that you might have to wait for a room to become available. The second tweak is getting a more expansive library of songs. Several popular Karaoke songs such as Devil Went Down to Georgia, and even entire artists such as Weird Al Yankovich were entirely absent. It also doesn't help that the computer based system has a lot of trouble search for artists with numbers or "the" in their names. One of the best parts about Honey Plus is their location due to the abundance of takeout places within the same plaza. Honey Plus allows outside food and alcoholic drinks (at a small convenience fee). Getting a group of friends to order takeout, then picking it up and walking to Honey Plus with some drinks is an awesome experience. Staff are friendly and respond quick to any room issues. The rooms are well maintained and the overall atmosphere is what I expect from a karaoke bar. Honey Plus Karaoke is a great night in the making.

If you are black or a person of color do not come to this establishment at all. They treated us like complete trash and over charged us for out visit here and when we were trying to figure out why our bill so so high the lady at the front texted for help and her "help" hovered over us like we were thieves and they were talking trash about us in there native tongue not knowing that I could understand stand them 0/10 DO NOT COME HERE

Omg this place is so dope! First and foremost I would love to thank the staff for their accommodation and awesome customer service. I really appreciate the staff following the cdc guidelines for Covid 19 prevention and making safety a priority! The building is super cute and inviting! Now let's get into this honey plus karaoke. If you love karaoke but don't necessarily like singing in front of strangers, this is the place for you. I came with a group of 8 people and we had an amazing time. The room was an entire vibe. We had several mics, tambourines, and the sitting area was comfortable and spacious. We had a hard time figuring out how to work the remote because most the menu options are Korean but we fun doing it and our host was super helpful. The minimum time spent in each booth is 1 hour and you pay by the hour. BYOB is encouraged and they have soda and water available! I can't wait to come back.

Wouldn't recommend for POC. I initially enjoyed the place. This was my third visit. This time she was rude. They locked up while my friend was still in the bathroom. After making comments to push us out the door. It's also no longer byob and the up charge on the soju is a bit ridiculous. Especially considering that when they wholesale purchase it they're getting it discounted.

I had my 21st birthday here such a blast and the staff handled all my drunk friends and I very well

The food is overcharge, the server is not happy us coming to the restaurant and immediately took the menu after first order. But yet expect a higher tips. I will not recommend this place to anyone

First time at Karaoke and had one of the best times in there. It's BYOB, and the food there is alright. The rooms are great and spacious with excellent sound systems! Multiple big rooms with great lighting and the prices were pretty reasonable. Definitely recommend checking it out
