The Best Cider Doughnuts in the Boston Area | Eater Boston

"Like fans of Russell Orchards, Honey Pot Hill evangelists are adamant in their conviction. This Stow orchard has been operational since 1926, and, along with cider doughnuts and caramel apples, offers its patrons the opportunity to pick their own fruit, go on a hayride, and explore three distinct mazes." - Terrence Doyle

Best Massachusetts Pick-Your-Own Apple and Berry Farms | Eater Boston

"Honey Pot Hill offers a variety of pick-your-own apples and pears daily, no reservations required. Check for updates on current varieties and conditions on the Honey Pot’s website. Earlier in the year, pick-your-own blueberries are available. The farm store is open daily, and there are hayrides running at certain hours. On weekends, check out the hard cider tent (children are welcome when accompanied by adults)." - Rachel Leah Blumenthal

Honey Pot Hill Orchard exceeded all my expectations! 😍💥💥🌟 I had such a fantastic time. Even though the place was full, I never felt crowded, thanks to the wonderful staff and how well they managed everything. 🌟 The hayride was so much fun and added to the overall experience! Their apple cider cinnamon donuts are out of this world—fresh, warm, and full of flavor. 😭♥️ The apple cider juice is perfectly balanced, delicious, and has that fresh, healthy taste that only comes from quality ingredients. 🫠👍🏼 Overall, a beautiful, well-organized spot with a fun, relaxing atmosphere. I’ll definitely be back next fall 🍂🍂🍂

A fun place to spend with friends or family. You get to choose two sizes of bags. I throughly enjoyed Apple picking. They also have a store that sells Apple cider, wildflower honey, maple syrups and oh such delicious fresh apple cider donuts. (Which is a must try) It was an overall fun day.

When I went there was a sale and I payed 19 for the large bag but that is not the regular price. The place is beautiful and I tried the best apples in my life. I will try to make an apple pie ! I had an amazing time and tried the hot apple cider (2 dollars) and the apple donuts ! I loved it ! It a must do during the fall ✨🍁

Fun day to pick apples and pears. I highly recommend getting there when they open at 9 am on weekends. It was crazy by noon. The pumpkin pie is delicious. The large apple bag is $38, which is more than other orchards in the area, but they do have a greater selection. The ladders next to the trees were super helpful. Their hard cider tent has live music, but only one type of apple cider, and it's just okay. There was a food truck next door, with only burgers for sale. We had to go elsewhere for a proper meal.

They have great food, donuts, and drinks (We didn't see it on the menu, but you can also ask for an apple cider slushie!) Tons of varieties of apples, many of which are close to the ground and easily accessible, but they have ladders if you want the experience of picking apples higher up on the taller trees. Lots to do for kids, as well

This used to be one of my favorite places to go apple picking every year but it has become super commercialized and super crowded. When trying to pick apples a lot of the tree lanes that were open were picked through and had no labels on what type of apples you were picking, and despite doing the hayride I walked all the way back searching for apples and they only had 1 type and couldn’t tell you which kind. I don’t remember their being a fee per person they let us know a group of 5 couldn’t get a medium bag unless we paid for the extra 2 people at $7/ per person or upgrade to the large bag which was $38. This place still only accepts cash which luckily I did have on hand, and there was lines to go into the store and get fresh cider donuts. Images from some of the closed off areas which my guess is saved to rotate pickings

I’ve been coming to this orchard since I was a little girl and now I bring my children. I have to admit that I was extremely impressed with my most recent visit. It was extremely packed but the staff did such an amazing job logistically with setting up additional parking, hayride stops and hayrides that I honestly could only tell there was an excess of people because I have been visiting for years. It makes me happy to know that their business is thriving. There are lots of activities to do. The petting zoo area and pumpkin patch is a favorite for young children. The donut factory was a brilliant idea. The donut lines are long but the donut factory expedites sales. Highly recommend.

It was a lot of fun, even in the rain. I was there for a company sponsored event and the staff took great care of us all. They had tests set up over the picnic tables and grill so we could still eat comfortably and so the band didn't get soaked. They had an "apple cannon" (think potato gun) set up and we got to launch apples across the pumpkin patches, it was a lot of fun. They also have these hayrides that double as a sort of shuttle bus to get the visitors around the property if you're hoping to get to a distant part of the farm. The staff is super nice and helpful and the prices per bag are pretty reasonable, considering how much apple picking costs these days. They also have some animals ypu can check out. Chickens, goats, mini horses, pigs and alpacas. The store is well stocked with honey, jams and candles... all the stuff you'd expect at a little store on an apple orchard. They even had a live beehive inside the store you could check out. I had a great day with my GF and my parents and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to go apple picking, or blueberry and pear picking, for that matter.
