The Best Cider Doughnuts in the Boston Area | Eater Boston

"Like fans of Russell Orchards, Honey Pot Hill evangelists are adamant in their conviction. This Stow orchard has been operational since 1926, and, along with cider doughnuts and caramel apples, offers its patrons the opportunity to pick their own fruit, go on a hayride, and explore three distinct mazes." - Terrence Doyle

Best Massachusetts Pick-Your-Own Apple and Berry Farms | Eater Boston

"Honey Pot Hill offers a variety of pick-your-own apples and pears daily, no reservations required. Check for updates on current varieties and conditions on the Honey Pot’s website. Earlier in the year, pick-your-own blueberries are available. The farm store is open daily, and there are hayrides running at certain hours. On weekends, check out the hard cider tent (children are welcome when accompanied by adults)." - Rachel Leah Blumenthal

We had such a great time here! We filled a large bag very easily with mostly apples but some pears as well! The hay ride was nice, too! Got us from the fields back to the store and parking lot! Cider donuts are delicious, as was the cider itself! We solved the monster maze without too much help! The staff are all so friendly! Going on a fall day was so picturesque! Definitely recommend here for families, couples, or anyone looking to spend a fun afternoon!

This is a must for a family adventure and activity. My kids loved it and the prices were reasonable. The hayrides are awesome and the variety of apples to pick are so fun. We loved picking the ripe pears too. So much about this place is wonderful!! My one recommendation would be to make sure you bring cash. There are ATM’s there, but I would suggest bringing cash so you avoid the ATM fees. The apples and pears are delicious without the wax on them. As far as festivities, the market is fun. There are animals to visit as well as yummy treats like cider donuts and apple cider at very reasonable prices. This place is definitely designed for everyone.

Loved this place! me and my friend did apple and pear picking, had the cider donuts, and enjoyed some cold cider… all so good. The little store had great souvenirs, and the hayride on the haystacks was super fun. The orchard was lively with families and kids, and we had an awesome time!

Great autumn must visit! The cider donuts and hot cider were excellent! We were on vacation and flying, so apple picking wasn't an option for us. The variety of apples was excellent and there were plenty to pick from, a great family activity!

Honey Pot Hill Orchids is undoubtedly the best apple-picking destination in New England. It’s an ideal spot for family and friends to enjoy a fun-filled outing. There are numerous activities to keep everyone entertained, including hay rides and mazes. And let’s not forget about the delicious apples! 😀🙌🏽

This orchard has been our family favorite. Visited the farm 3 years in a row. Always had a pleasant experience here! They have a great variety of apples and it’s mostly available for picking even through late October. Love the cider donuts here.

Today marked our 3rd year in a row visiting Honey Pot Hill Orchards. We’ve always had such a fun time here — the apples and donuts are always delicious. Yesterday, I went with my wife, who’s 6 months pregnant. On our way out, we were looking to buy some water bottles. When we got to the grill, it looked like they were closing up — it was only a few minutes past 5 — but they still had plenty of water in the fridge. I asked if I could buy two bottles since my wife really needed some water after all the walking we’d done, but they said no because their cash box was already put away. Next time, show a little compassion. It’s not like I asked for a free bottle of water — what would it have cost to help out a pregnant woman? It left a sour taste in my mouth, I don’t think we’ll be coming back. I’ll try a different farm next year with my new born.
